Yo Sushi Has Closed in Boston’s Seaport - Eater Boston

"A Seaport sushi restaurant known for its signature conveyor belt system for delivering dishes to tables has bowed out of the neighborhood. Yo Sushi (stylized as Yo! Sushi), a London-based chain that opened in a mixed-use development on Seaport Boulevard two years ago, has closed down, leaving a message in its window thanking customers for their support." - Dana Hatic

Food was very good, I've been very wary of trying something like this as I was worried about how long the food was out for, but here you can see them making the food and placing it right on the belt. It would be better if things were labeled.. matching to the pictures in the menu as something was coming towards you proved to be more of a challenge and we ended up with somethings we were not sure about. Over all though food was yummy and it was a cool experience.

I had dinner here on a slow Monday night. The place had a crowd, but wasn’t crowded. I was seated by a friendly host but then ignored by my server for most of my time there. I waited patiently while she explained the ordering process and menu selections to the couple next to me. I was patient when she slammed my tea mug in front of me and asked what else I wanted. I ordered some veggie tempura (greasy) and some miso soup that came out of a machine. Literally. The pork belly baos were delicious and definitely the best item that I ordered. I took a plate of sushi off of the belt, the katsu shrimp roll, and it was decent. I was seated facing the rear of the restaurant so every time my server walked by I was given snarky looks. It just made for an overall unenjoyable experience. I ate and left quickly. When I signaled for my check she walked back and forth before finally coming over, sighing, and slamming the bill beside me.

Mediocre sushi and sides whose main appeal is the conveyer belt, but far inferior to any other conveyer belt sushi place I've been to in Asia. The fish was a little limp although overall tasted fine, and the selection of sushi on the belt standard: spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, California roll, etc. The furikake fries were tasty although not accurate to the menu description--it was supposed to have furikake and bonito flakes on it and from the picture you can see there was neither. The rose was also pretty bad, didn't go down smoothly. Also I think because they're new, a lot of the things we wanted to order weren't available e.g. the sake cocktail, the cauliflower side dish. A bit disappointing overall, cost $44 for two people.

The conveyor belt sushi is not as good as I expected. The area is hard to get to. The service is good. The restaurant is clean and modern.

Small plates. Fun conveyor sushi selection. Quality and choice varies with number of chefs working. Else order off menu. Good single person healthy meal option. Food fresh, attractive presentation and tasty sake.

The sushi was on par with the sushi in the area. What really sets it apart is the service! My server, Bernadette, was fantastic and ensured my table was as happy as possible. Only reason it's a four and not five star is because the prices are a bit high for 2 or 4 pieces of sushi. Overall, great experience!

Went here for lunch and had some fresh sushi from a conveyor belt. While sushi were yummy there was not a huge variety of them. Our server was attentive and nice and overall the place is worth visiting.

The floating sushi is passable. The chicken katsu curry rice is good. Nice that there is a button to push which turns the light from blue to red and notifies the server.
