Yelp
I've lived nearby for about 3 years and pass Yoi Yoi frequently, but never tried it. However, one evening, I wanted sushi but didn't want to go far so I decided to finally give Yoi Yoi a shot. I went online and checked out the menu and began my order.
I ordered a dinner bento box of General Tso's chicken and fried rice (which also came with miso soup, an egg roll, California roll, spring roll, and gyoza), the super crunch mango roll, and the dancing eel roll. A lot - I know lol. My order was ready in about 15-20 minutes so I rode over and got it.
I walked right in and picked up my order and came on back home. When I checked everything out, it all looked really good so I was ready to dig in. The super crunch mango roll was really good - definitely my favorite of this order! The dancing eel roll was just okay. The bento box was not it though. The General Tso's chicken tasted nothing like any other General Tso's I've ever had. It just wasn't tasty. The fried rice was okay; the spring roll was greasy; I don't typically eat pork so I didn't try the gyoza; and I wound up throwing the miso soup away with trying it.
Overall, I wasn't very impressed. If I'm ever pressed for sushi nearby, I may consider Yoi Yoi, but I likely won't go back.
