Yojie Japanese Fondue is a slick, modern, and clean restaurant. The design of the restaurant effectively utilizes the small space. I love the elegant presentation and attention to detail in the restaurant's layout, menu, and food presentation.
First, you select your meat. I ordered the Yojie's Cut. Second, you select your broth. I ordered Tonkatsu Broth. Third, you select a size. I ordered a Sumo (extra large). Fourth, you select two dipping sauces. I ordered Ponzu and Goma. Orders come with a bowl of rice and a bowl of vegetables and noodles. You can get free refills of broth, dipping sauces, and rice.
The meat was fresh and not frozen, like at some hot pot restaurants. The broth was not the best I have had, but was pretty good. My favorite thing is that each person gets their own broth and own heating plate for their broth, whereas many hot pot restaurants require people to share broths.
Overall, I was not wowed by the food, but I loved the presentation and concept.
