The complex is free to enter and you pay for every game/ride you choose to enjoy. The rides are a little older and the vanishing coaster queue does seem to take an unusually long time to shorten, but everyone seemed to have fun and said they would return. There is an arcade/claw catcher area on the 3F which is also nice to spend some tkme at.

Cosmo World in Yokohama is a delightful surprise tucked right into the heart of the city’s waterfront. It’s a compact but vibrant amusement park that offers something for everyone—from thrilling roller coasters to charming coin-operated rides for the little ones. We stopped by on our way to a nearby wedding venue, and I’m so glad we did! My older kids had a blast on the big rides, especially the roller coasters, which were way more exciting than I expected for a city park. My youngest was enchanted by the tiny kiddie rides and arcade-style machines scattered throughout the grounds. It’s the kind of place where every age group finds their own joy. One of the park’s most iconic features is the massive Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel, which lights up beautifully at night and doubles as a working clock. I didn’t get a chance to ride it this time, but it’s definitely on my list for next visit. There’s also a water ride that was surprisingly dry—perfect if you want the fun without the splash. The location couldn’t be better: right by the water, close to the Yokohama World Porters mall, and surrounded by scenic views. At night, the whole area glows with colorful lights and reflections off the bay, making it a magical spot for an evening stroll. The park opens late—until around 11 PM—which makes it easy to squeeze in a visit even after a busy day. Cosmo World isn’t huge, but it’s packed with charm and energy. Whether you’re traveling with kids or just want a fun detour in Yokohama, it’s absolutely worth a stop.

A delightful theme park located directly across from Cup Noodle Museum. My friend and I went on the Ferris wheel. Which was a fairly long ride and up high enough for me to spot Mt Fuji. We managed to get on the ride before sunset which was nice to see. I recommend stopping by while in Yokohama.

It’s a great place for kids under 10. Many rides and games to play. My kids enjoyed the rides more than Disneyland. No quos or waiting time. Just pay and ride. Great place to run away from busy Tokyo and reset.

It was a Monday in September and we had an afternoon wedding for good friends accross the street at the Anniversaire Minato Mirai Yokohama. So we decided to spend the morning at Cosmo World as we were staying close by at the APA Hotel. It opened at noon and we got there at 11:45am. We waited in line with about 15 people and got right in at noon. We went straight to the ticket counter and got the ticket package we wanted for us and the kids (6, 10 & 12 years old). The kids loved all the rides, some scary, some not so much but all too short! All in all it made for a great quick 90 minutes of fun before going back to the hotel and prepare for the afternoon. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Will definitely go back for the afternoon next time we are in town!! 🙌🏻🙏🏻

Riding the Ferris wheel was a unique experience—you get different views from every side of Yokohama, and when you reach the top, you can see the whole city. It’s absolutely stunning! A huge thank you to the staff too—they helped me find my lost Chiikawa pin. I really appreciate it!

Pro: rides, food court, gift shops, giant Farris wheel. Con: cash only. When we arrive here to Yokohama we pass by the cosmo world on the way to the cup noodle museum. We stop by inside for a peak. All the gift shop, food court, game stall are cash only so that severely limited our options. I think they also have some arcades game for adult but we weren't able to stop in for that. All in all, it was an ok place to visit.

Cosmo world is a fun place with lot of game options for adults and kids alike. In fact even toddlers are catered to, my nieces created such a ruckus to get back home after the rides, they had never seen so many vehicles they could get into, and animals they could pretend drive lined up for them. There is gaint wheel, tora tora and also the one that goes up and down and all around like a dragon, and many more. In the little city of Yokohama, they have managed to create a separate world yet to close to reality. Plenty of ice cream, coffee and candy shops inside. The Nessie cone was my favorite You can easily loose yourself and spend a whole day there. The place is used very efficiently and it's pretty huge. To top it all its faces the Pacific Ocean and there is an interesting ride on a bus which runs on land AND water! I mean- here I was actually in a James Bond kinda vehicle, not as fast but just as curious ! Cosmos World is fun world.

This amusement park is on the way to the ramen museum. It was nice and had a few big rides and lots of games to play. It wasn't very busy the day we went by there.

Bayside amusement park featuring an under the sea diving roller coaster, a huge time-keeping Ferris Wheel and various other games, rides and concessions. Adjacent to the park is a shopping mall featuring numerous branded clothing, shoes, jewelry, toys, a movie theater, and several restaurants. Highly recommended.

Pros: No admission fee Cons: Every ride costs money Overall, it's not that big of an amusement park. It has some fun rides and a lot of arcade games for you to waste your money on. If you have some extra time in Yokohama, this isn't a bad place to spend a few hours.

What a beautiful, mini amusement park in Yokohama. It's located across from the Cup o Noodles Museum and within walking distance from Hawaiian Town. Even though it was already closed the time I arrived, I really enjoyed the lights that illuminate me the night sky. It's very attractive! And being so close to Yokohama Bay, we got gorgeous views of surrounding skyscrapers that reflected on the waters, which glistened from the lights. It gets pretty chilly in the evening but there's a lot to see just strolling around the bay. Kinda reminds me of the Chicago Riverwalk. I can only imagine how beautiful seeing the bay is from the ferris wheel!

I just walked around here. Price: It's not big and kinda pricy because they don't charge admission fee. Location: 10 minutes walk from Minatomirai subway station. Tip: You can see fireworks of Yamashita park here.

There are tons of big shopping mall in this area. And if your kids being whiny and wouldn't stop being in bad mood, you might want to bring them here to cheer them up. Location is perfect. It's within 10min walk from Minato Mirai station. This is not somewhere you have to plan ahead, save some cash then make a strong commitment like Disneyland. You can spontaneously swing by before/after shopping. Roller coaster was 800 yen per person. But you have to buy "money tickets" beforehand. And you can buy these tickets in bulk and it'd be cheaper. For an example, if you buy 3500 yen "worth" ticket, it'll cost you 2500 yen. You are saving 100 yen! We also rode Ferris wheel which was 700yen. I think the most expensive was the roller coaster and everything else was around that price. As far as wait time, roller coaster was just about half an hour(although sign said 40min). Ferris wheel was a few minutes(although the sign said 10min) in late Saturday afternoon. This is quite pleasant for people like me who hates queueing. It's a small place but rides are fun and can stop by casually. This is definitely my kind of place.

It was a neat way to spend our day! We went on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy. We didn't wait in lines for anything. You buy tickets with yen and then go to each attraction. It was reallyyy expensive and ranged from 500-900 yen per person per ride. The best attractions were the diving rollercoaster (Vanish) and the Ice Room. The Ice Room was super cool (literally) because it's kept at a cold temperature and it's a walk through with a bunch of ice statues and ice scenery. Very neat!! We also enjoyed the arcade and photo booths. It's a really clean place with a lovely seascape view. It was beautiful at night when it's all lit up. We really wanted to go on the ferris wheel but it was closed early and we mistakenly saved it for last :( Luckily they did reimburse us for our tickets! Very friendly customer service. Some of the attractions were kinda lame. The VR Vehicle was below mediocre and seemed very out of date. The kaleidoscope room was neat but very small. Also, a lot of attractions were closed. Despite these attractions, Cosmo World is worth a visit if you happen to be in the area! Theyre also kiddie friendly for your little guys

A fun place for the kids to take a quick break from walking all over tokyo. It's near a stream or river, so we could take scenic pictures of the area while the kids rode the rollercoster. No long lines like in disneyland, and rides are about 700- 800 yen each. However, it's cash only for the rides, so we couldn't entertain the kids as long as we wanted, plus, we arrived late and took the city loop bus, which ends at about 6:15pm so we couldn't stay too long, since we got to cosmos in the late afternoon.

You don't even need to go into the park to enjoy it. Just looking at the Ferris wheel by the bridge is already breath taking at night. I didn't get the chance to go up before the park closed, but I bet the view is phenomenal because the wheel goes so high up!

A great place for people of all ages. A couple of different rollercoasters, an arcade with different interactive games, carnival games, and a few different places to get food. There is a world famous Ferris wheel called the Cosmo clock. It is known for being the worlds largest digital clock. There are also many different UFO/claw style games to test your skills. It's centrally located with many different activities around it.

Cosmo World is a "you have to go there but never again" kind of place. From the Yokohama station, one can clearly see the large ferris wheel from Cosmo World. One can easily walk there for thirty minutes or take the Minatormirai line (2 stops) for 180 yen. My friends and I walked to Cosmos World, and found the walk to be very pleasant. Unlike other amusement parks, there is no entrance fee! Instead, a person will pay for each ride. The average cost per ride is approximately $7. From what I experienced, the ferris wheel is the only worthwhile ride. I went on the "Vanish" roller coaster and it was very disappointing. For $7, you will experience a two minute ride that only has one steep dip...lame. The only ride that I would recommend is the ferris wheel for $8. This ride is more enjoyable because it's ten minutes longer and you can view the beautiful surroundings of Yokohama. The ride also includes an audio (in English or Japanese) that describes the Yokohama landmarks near the ferris wheel. I went on the ride at night and enjoyed every minute of it. Because all of the buildings near the amusement park were lighted, the view was breathtaking. Cosmo World also includes arcade games and food stands! However, I didn't eat there or try any of the arcade games. Honestly, my sister said that I was generous in my rating. She would have given this place two stars because of the high costs. I gave it an extra star because of the ferris wheel and the pretty decor around the amusement park.

I think Cosmo World looked and sounded better online than it was in person. In fact, online it made it seem like it was a lot bigger than it really is. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed by the size and the activities. The indoor arcade had much of the same games - many "cup the rope to get this prize" or your standard claw game. After playing games in the arcades in Shinjuku, the ones here seemed repetitive and boring. The one highlight was the Cosmo Clock, their Ferris wheel that takes about 15 minutes to make one complete rotation - it's that big! We went just when the sun went down so we were able to take in the city lights from up top. It was a really nice experience and well worth my 800¥.

This isn't Disneyland but you can definitely have fun here. This amusement park smack dab in the Minato Mirai area is a welcome escape from the shopping area for people of all ages. You pay for tickets and depending on what you want to ride you use the amount of tickets required. The park itself is somewhat sectioned off into little areas. For little kids (I would say from 2-5 years old) there is a special section of kiddie rides, but the rest of the park is probably for people 5 years (at least) and over. As for the highlights for me, the roller coaster "Vanish" is pretty good with some good whipping action thrown in, but only one large dip, and like all roller coasters though, the ride ends all too soon. Another decent ride is the Cosmo Clock Ferris Wheel. There always seems to be a couple of haunted house type attractions with staff inside wanting nothing more than to make you soil your pants. Which as long as you don't soil your pants, live interaction with "ghosts" can be a good thing. All in all there aren't an incredible number of rides here, but all the standards you would expect to find in most amusement parks are here. So for a straight forward no-frills entertainment and an escape from the shopping madness that surrounds the area, you can easily spend a couple hours here enjoying rides. If you are in the area, especially with kids, it's worth a visit.

If you are in Yokohama at night you at least need to swing by the waterside area (near the Red Brick Warehouse area) to see Cosmo World's huge ferris wheel with its colorful whirling light show. Enjoyable even from afar!

This was a relatively deserted "amusement park" that featured an assortment of different things. Their main attraction is the Ferris wheel that lights up at night. It's strategically located in the midst of a shopping strip, so it's a nice break up from the busy bumble of shoppers. It does have a fun "disappearing" roller coaster that dives into a tunnel under water. There are some other few attractions, but it's not incredibly abundant. There is a 3D shooting "house" where you sit in a rolling cart. There is also one for a horror "house" as well. It's kind of interesting!

I love this place! I truly feel that there is something here for everyone. From carnival games to roller coasters, there is something to do for all ages. I really love cosmo clock, the giant ferris wheel. It's great for showing people how beautiful Yokohama is, day or night, and is the perfect way to get introduced to the city if you just moved here. If you're looking for a little old fashioned fun in Yokohama, definitely check this place out!

Not a bad place to spend a few hours with children who are not quite ready for larger thrill rides. You pay per ride which can be expensive at an average of 500 yen per ride per person. For a family of four, it can add up quickly. The facility was clean and easy to get around. Staff was very friendly. There are lots of food options nearby within minutes by foot.
