Google
The Yokohama Landmark Tower looks extremely impressive from the outside and dominates the skyline, which naturally raises expectations. Unfortunately, the actual experience does not fully live up to the hype. While the building itself is iconic, the visit feels very tourist oriented and somewhat sterile. The observation deck offers a wide view over Yokohama and the bay, but the experience heavily depends on the weather. On hazy or cloudy days, the view quickly becomes underwhelming. Even on a clear day, the atmosphere feels more like a crowded viewing platform than a place to truly enjoy the scenery. The fast elevator ride is exciting for a moment, but that excitement fades quickly once you arrive at the top. Inside the tower, there are many shops and restaurants, which makes it convenient but also very crowded and commercial. Everything feels designed for quick visits rather than relaxed enjoyment. Overall, the Landmark Tower is worth seeing once for its status as a city symbol, but it is not as memorable or magical as one might expect from such a famous landmark.

Very recommended side for observatory deck, clean and tidy, 900 yenes entrance fee. The restaurant offered drinks, side dishes, beverages. Dishes consist of huge hot 🌭 dog, Nachos with 5 small sausages, drinks offered specialty drinks, coffee, teas, sodas like cola, ginger alle, Japanese mocha, juices like apple, orange, grapes. Very clean and not crowded.

Google
Amazing experience. The views form the sky garden 69th floor are simply amazing. Nice little cafe and souvenir shop up there as well. 1000 yen admissions. The evelvator goes 28 mph. Your ears will pop. Check it out when visiting Yokohama. You can even see Mt Fuji.

Google
An absolutely stunning view from the visitor's plattform. I was there on a Friday for the sunset, didn't have to que at all and went directly with a few people to the top for 1000 yen. It was absolutely worth it! Though the skies were clear, Mt Fuji was hidden as well as the setting sun. Nevertheless I went a few rounds, took seat at varois occasions and enjoyed a beer while the day fades and the lights go on in the agglomeration. In contrast to Tokyo Tower and the Sky tree, there are very few visitors and that alone is fantastic! No queing to go up or down and the possibility to watch the city from different spaces (on the Sky tree there are lines for certain spots). The highlights are the harbor, the ferris wheel and other rides below the tower and the surrounding city.

Amazing night views. The coin stamp machine is cool. It has the Japans Fastest Elevator with 750 m/minute Top speed. Had an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Google
Amazing panoramic views of Yokohama. The elevator is super fast and quiet. It is fun seeing the red brick warehouse, ferris wheel and other rides from far away. Take note of the photo signs facing each direction that explains the buildings in the view. There are places to sit, rest and have a drink without feeling rushed to leave. Other activities for children were taking place too.

Google
It was once the tallest building in Japan, now the second tallest but it still holds the record with the fastest elevator in Japan running at over 750 meters per second. The views are stunning and the sweets at the observation deck gift shop are tasty. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Yokohama.

Google
I love the atmosphere on top of the tower. It is so much more relaxed than the Skytree with a lot less crowding. You can grab a drink from the bar and watch the sunset without time pressure. Both times I went to the tower I was able to see Fuji, one time only the silhouette and the other a clear view. Incredible.

Yelp
Gorgeous views of Yokohama and the surrounding areas. If you want sky-high views, Landmark is a cheap option compared to Tōkyō (¥1000 for adults). It's the third tallest building in Japan (as of Feb 2024) at a height of 296 metres. You'll climb to the top in a lift reaching a speed of 750 metres/min.

Yelp
One of the most symbolical buildings in Yokohama. It's old but does not look old because of high maintenance. It was packed with couple and families last weekend.

Yelp
I arrived at the tower around 5:30pm, the perfect evening time to see all the city lights while the sky still colorful and not as dark. Absolutely stunning 360 degree view of charming Yokohama city. You also get to see a proper view of Tokyo Bay and the famous Cosmo Clock 21 giant Ferris Wheel which lights up in the evening throughout the night. Luckily, the skies were very clear during the day I went. So I got to see a clean view of Mt. Fuji. That was my most memorable highlight of the day, absolutely magnificent. This landmark tower also feature the fastest elevator in Japan. I personally would call it "catapult" elevator just because the speed allows this elevator to reach the 69th floor in about 40 seconds. Hands down, the most interesting elevator ride ever! Possibly my favorite city view so far, even better than One World Observatory in New York. Oh, you get to experience all this for just 1000 yen. Simply amazing.

Yelp
Landmark Tower is the second tallest building in Japan. It has a Sky Garden Viewing floor which costs 10 bucks to get up to, and if the skies are very clear you can see Fuji (though be careful, even if its sunny out that doesn't mean you will be able to see it, has to be haze free). It's primarily a mix of office and hotel, with a mall and restaurants on the bottom floors. Some of the restaurants are quite good, there is an American place called Bubby's on the first floor that is pretty delish, crazy wait times for food though, the hamburger takes about a half hour. There are also some interesting shops, ranging from Coach in the high end to a Pokecenter and a Ghibili shop. Also has a grocery store with a wide selection of imported goods, and a conbini just for good measure. Really its got a little bit of everything, good place to visit, shop, or grab lunch or dinner if you're near by.

Yelp
Shopping....All Encompassing. You'll definitely be able to find your size at one of the many department stores! Hard Rock, and a Krispy Cream nearby. Try the worlds fastest elevator to the 69th floor (about $10.00); view is great at sunset and amazing at night. Overall friendly staff, most speak English, very clean and there's a floor for your kids entertainment.

Yelp
Aside from the great shopping and dining options in Landmark Tower, the SkyTree is really where its at. For 1000 yen, you take the Guinness record holding elevator for the fastest to the top floor to see a full 360 degree view of Yokohama. It is quite breathtaking to see. There is also a small cafe/bar at the top floor as well as a gift store if that is your thing as well. As far as the shopping is concerned, there are plenty of options such as your typical clothing shops to the Pokemon Center on the fourth floor. There is also a 7-11 on the first floor if you need an ATM. The location is also great too since there is plenty to do around the area such as the Art Museum. Close to the Minatomirai stop.

Yelp
Incredible views of Yokohama. While on this trip I also had the opportunity to go to the top of the SkyTree in Tokyo and found this to be a much more enjoyable experience. It was far less crowded, not as high (yet still very high) and I thought the view was better and more scenic.
