I had nigiri a la carte: Suzuki, Avocado, Ikura, A5 Wagyu, and unagi as well as the Brussels Sprouts appetizer. I didn't really taste much of the yuzu kosho that's supposed to be on the avocado. The A5 Wagyu was a pretty bad cut and I couldn't swallow it all because of the chewy connective tissues. The Brussels Sprouts was good.
The sushi cook was very friendly and welcoming, although he wasn't too knowledgeable on everything the head chef prepares, like which cut of wagyu it was, or what kind of salmon roe they use. But that's totally not his fault, just faulty training and management.
Ken the server was nice and friendly as well. Overall, my meal was okay. After having really nice sushi in California, I guess I can't put every sushi/Japanese restaurant in the same category to compare. They might have some great items on the rest of their menu too, I just didn't order them on my visit.
