Yonder Bar Opens in Phinney Ridge - Eater Seattle

"Opening Saturday in Phinney Ridge is Yonder Bar, the only retail shop for the new craft cider brand Yonder Cider. The bar will be located at 1st Ave NW between 78th Street and 79th Street (one of the city’s Stay Healthy pedestrian streets) and will offer to-go growlers, four-packs, branded merchandise, special releases and more as time goes on. The bar’s build-out in and old garage was originally styled as a tasting room, but Yonder Bar had been able to pivot and will now operate as a retail storefront. Yonder Cider, which is also releasing its line of craft ciders this weekend, picks and presses its apples in Wenatchee. At present, the cidery offers dry, semi-sweet, and Palisades styles of cider. They have also announced that a portion of its proceeds will benefit the Phinney Neighborhood Association. Initially, Yonder Bar will be open from Wednesday-Friday from 3-8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 12-8 p.m." - Jackie Bryant

Woodinville Winery Tinte Cellars Will Open in Georgetown This Fall - Eater Seattle

"Wenatchee orchard Yonder Cider is setting up shop in Phinney Ridge, with a “to-go bar” (read: retail store) opening this Saturday (August 22). It’s a tasting room, so you can drop by and taste hard ciders made with an array of Washington-grown apples, and grab some four-packs or growlers to go. You might wander right up to this magical little garage bar by accident while you’re cruising the pedestrian-only 1st ave, but you should go on purpose! Yonder Cider is a local neighborhood gem of Phinney/Greenwood! I’m not much of a cider person, but I’m super into their stuff, especially the Palisades (purple can). Prices are quite reasonable and the staff are super nice. You can also mix 4 packs or get a crowler straight off the tap! Yum.

I am so jealous of Greenwood for having this lovely little spot. It's just a garage sto ked with friendly people and tasty cider. They have a few standard cider flavors and smattering of seasonal offerings. They fill growers or sell you cans... Just show up and ask them what to try, they will not steer you wrong.

Best garage cidery in the neighborhood with especially interesting and delicious seasonal releases. Still one of the best ways to get a little buzz while supporting walkable neighborhoods and YIMBYism. Their ciders tend to be on the drier side, so it might not be your jam if you like them sweet.

Best cider in seattle! Also some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. Definitely recommend getting whatever flavor you want on tap in one of their growlers/crowlers. Tastes even fresher.

Oh my gosh I wish I lived right next door! This is such a cool little place and great ciders. The price is very fair especially for the area and they are going to move to a bigger space soon! I wish they had a couple more flavors-but I expect good things with them in the future

Some of the best cider I've had in Seattle, and at one of the coolest locations possible. I hate that a terrible neighbor had to shut this down, it brought only joy to the area. Once they pop up again, buy buy buy!!

Excellent cider, nice folks, and reasonable prices. Gotta love a walkup neighborhood spot. I definitely did not sip out of the growler on my bike home. Totally not at all
