Loved it! Always had lots of vegan options for me and yummy vegetable dishes for dinner too when you need a break from carbs need fibre. The vegan pancakes for breakfast were amazing! Coffee is by Supreme Beans which are pretty good. Vegan muffins and cinnamon roll was amazingly yummy too! Seating inside is better when it’s cold but they do have heaters outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. Yummy mulled wine too!

Our type of joint. Great coffee, even better tunes and some amazing food. Well priced and great spot to enjoy breakfast and brunch. Located right in the heart of Queenstown - avoid the waterfront tourist traps and cosy up to Yonder instead.

The food was worth the trip. I was a little worried that there was going to be a long wait to be seated. There was a lull in the service when I arrived a lot of people walked past, but not a huge acknowledgment or idea of when I would be seated. However, once I did get seated, my server was aware that I had a pretty quick turnaround and I was able to order and get my food really fast which was amazing and she made a good recommendation. I substituted mushrooms for The pork in the Pork Benny and it was amazing. The coffee was good and the open air seating was lovely. It’s a little loud because there’s a lot of people there and I definitely arrived at a good time because there was a queue as I was leaving. I doubt that there’s anything bad on their menu. Everything looked good. I think just overall they could step it up in their customer service to all. I think they did the best they could with a very busy environment. Clearly a very popular place.

Went here for a work brunch and the food was very good! Some good, unique and delicious flavours and a good variety. I had the pork belly Benny. The coffee was good, but I wouldn’t say amazing. Services was a little slow at times and I had to wait a long time just to pay. But otherwise all was good and I would highly recommend for the food

Great decor & vibe. The menu is interesting and had good ideas. Food is well presented, but unfortunately some dishes needed better execution and thought. The good: brisket taco was tasty & the meat was cooked well. The beef cheek taco had good flavors but was quite tough and still had a lot of the connective tissue left. Needs to be cooked lower and slower to be better. The okays: The crispy potatoes, roasted cauliflower and greens. Flavor and seasoning wise were all good, but some weird ratios with the amount of sauce and tahini which threw off the balance of the dish. We struggled to finish them in the end. Cauliflower was soft but missing sufficient char to be called roasted. Harissa had no heat. The bad: the spicy korean chicken bao. Not spicy, not korean, barely any chicken and the bao was thin and rubbery. The food also took a long time to come out and the service was generally slow, albeit friendly enough.

Great spot for interesting food and a coffee. I stopped for brunch and had the turkish eggs which were full of texture and flavour. Highly reccomend. Interwsting decor with inside and outside dining and a sneak view of the lake. Book ahead for large groups.

Google
A funky spot for a spot of funky breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the buckwheat pancakes. Not too sweet and just the right blend of toppings to really make the flavours pop! Well worth a visit 🤤

Google
Great vibes and amazing food! Yonder was absolutely great—loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious! It was a bit slow, but totally understandable since they were extremely busy. Still worth the wait and would definitely come back again!

Yelp
We stopped by Yonder for lunch after a morning trip to Milford Sound and overall had a good experience. I ordered the SsamJang Eggplant and Sticky Rice Bowl, which comes with a half-eggplant, coconut sticky rice, pickled radish, sesame, cashews, crispy pumpkin, broccoli, kale, green beans, daikon, and tahini. It was overall delicious (I particularly enjoyed the coconut sticky rise, crispy pumpkin - which reminded me of tempura, and the daikon). The eggplant came out a bit cold which I thought was odd. Wasn't sure if that was intentional (which I doubt since the rest of the dish was hot) or if it had been sitting out? For those with dietary restrictions, they do an excellent job listing diet-friendly dishes (e.g., dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.). In terms of "workflow", you order at the counter and then find your own seat. The ambiance is modern and cool. Overall worth a visit!

Yelp
We stopped in for brunch and had a wonderful meal! The staff were very friendly and helpful. You line up to order at the counter and then grab a table to sit down. It gets relatively busy at lunch time, but there are plenty of areas to sit. There are also fun activities and promotions on certain days including a silent disco and happy hour, but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to take advantage of these. The dining area was clean and well decorated. The menu had plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. We ordered the chicken flatbread, vegan butty, and full yonder. All were very filling and tasty. I had the chicken flatbread, and though the components were delicious, it was a bit unwieldy to pick up and eat, so I ended up dumping all the contents off and tearing the pita bread into pieces. The vegan butty was a 10/10 and had "unique flavors" according to a friend. The full yonder was also hearty and the mushrooms and bread were especially tasty. We would recommend Yonder to anyone visiting the area for a quick lunch.

Yelp
Great brunch spot in Queenstown! Food: Yonder has a lot of options all made from high quality ingredients. The plating is great. I especially liked the charcoal latte which was a unique thing I've never had before Service: Typical service for a fast casual restaurant. Staff were all very helpful. Ambiance: Yonder is definitely a cool spot in town. You can sit inside or out on the front patio. It has a cool retro diner aesthetic. Seating is abundant for small parties, but if you have +3 people you should reserve before coming. Highly recommend Yonder for a visit if you are in Queenstown NZ on holiday!

Yelp
Glad we did wander into Yonder. Strolling around Queenstown, we felt at a loss when our originally planned breakfast spot was unexpectedly closed- stumbling upon Yonder, with their winter menu posted outside, I thought their dishes sounded creative (&were reasonably priced-including side add-ons), with some hearty combinations of ingredients, so we decided to give them a try. Walking in, the warm ambiance of the beautifully designed space, made us feel so very welcomed- Part café', part nightclub, the vibe was on the 'hipster' side, with unique artwork in funky frames, rustic plant décor, and fun graffiti, but overall felt quaint, homey, and perfect for settling into a both to chill for the morning. Now, people may often people say, 'that was the best __", for something quite delicious, but I want to emphasis I absolutely mean it when I say that was the best flat white coffee I've ever had. Designed with a leaf froth, it was creamy & roasty; a perfect balance of coffee nut flavor with the milk froth. I found myself saying 'this is delicious', 'not really this is delicious' with each sip, heavily debating how many cups is enough. For food, we split a chili egg scramble & jalapeno corn fritters topped with a side of haloumi. The chili egg scramble was a hearty plate of well-seasoned scrambled eggs, over crispy sourdough bread-with a tasty sauce drizzled over top helping cut a spicy kick with a savory blend. The fritters were a balance of dense and moist- crispy outside, soft inside creamy corn fluff-with a delectable jam sauce for dipping- They were a bit heavy, luckily we were splitting because I wouldn't be able to eat all three myself- I gave the bacon to my husband for his scramble and paired my fritter and eggs with the haloumi-which was very well crisped. The plates were hearty- a perfect size to fill the belly without over indulging- Their menu items all sounded delicious, I honestly took photos to remember some of their combinations to try to re-create at home (such as their specialty pancakes and stuffed French toast) I wish we lived in Queenstown to become Yonder regulars. I highly recommend.

Yelp
TLDR: Decent food for breakfast, but definitely pricey. Unfortunately Yonder was out of brisket and cold brew when I visited. The Bacon butty was big but absolutely smothered in sauce. The grilled chicken flatbread was delicious but for $25, it could have a bit more chicken on it. The space inside was a bit cramped as the morning went on, but there is a heated outdoor area that only a few people took advantage of.

Yelp
Be prepared to spend an hour waiting for your food AFTER you ordered it. We came at 10:30am on a weekday and ordered pancakes and a poke bowl and waited near an hour for the food. The service is unbelievable slow and the wait staff behind the counter was rude. Yes the coffee was good, but you need the patience of a saint to dine here. They were also out of oat milk and refused to share the WiFi password. Normally not a big deal with ragards to the WiFi, but I'd just been on the Routeburn track and Milford sound for 6 days without connectivity. And they give the tiniest portions ever.

Yelp
I stopped in to try the famous charcoal latte! It was delicious. I had mine made with coconut milk so it was extra coconutty. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I loved sitting outside on a nice summer afternoon. I wish the prices were a bit more affordable, though!

Yelp
Young, hip and was the most poppin place to eat in the morning. Super cute, goods food all is good. Came here via recommendation from a local.

Yelp
Yes, the wait is long but if you're expecting it and it's a nice day out, then who cares? I got the French toast with raspberries and pistachios and it was exactly what I was looking for- not overly sweet but satiated my sweet craving. Also got the fries because again, why not... they were crisp and delicious!

Yelp
Best vegan pancakes I've had in life so far! Apple syrup and coconut cream was icing on the cake. Cappuccino was delicious.

Yelp
My go to coffee place in Queenstown. Iced latte with cream coconut milk Free Wifi. Chill vintage vibes which make for a good bar after hours. There is even occasional live music there which is a rarity in QT.

Yelp
Wonderful arty cool place! Great ambience, with fireplace, magazines and green plants! Love the decor. Popular breakfast/ brunch place in the market place. We stopped there for breakfast. They stay busy, so you take a number and wait. We did not have that much time so we got our egg burritos to go. They were spicy Mexican style with fresh onions, tomatoes, corn and beans! Crunch with cooled scrambled eggs! It was delicious! Hope to return there at some point for a really relaxed brunch:)

Yelp
So so good. Got the strawberry pancakes and holy cow exceeded my expectations. Coffee was splitter and the food came fast. The Bill Murray portrait was icing on the cake. Def recommend if you're in Queenstown!

Yelp
The roasted eggplant was delicious and my wife enjoyed her chicken dish. There was a large group of millennials at a nearby table. They seem to be having a great time. Service was a little slow but we sat outside and it was a pleasant evening.

Yelp
It is a nice place and food was really good, however when we were paying I was charged for an extra beer which, we ordered but never got!!! And we told this to the waitress, still had to pay 10$ for nothing. Thank you, we can find another place as nice that won't charge us for something we didn't get

Yelp
Came here for lunch today and was really pleased. We got the kimchi bowl with beef (tasted a bit like a bi bim bap). Delicious. We also got the bbq beef sandwich with fries which was great. Both portions were very filling. Good coffee and lemonade and excellent service and setting. I'll be back to try dinner!

Yelp
Breakfast, lunch, tea or drinks Yonder has it all. Absolutely excellent. Local, premium food. Pure class.

Yelp
We went for dinner. They offer some excellent dishes and were very accommodating for vegetarians with lots of clear substitutes. Good choice of tap beers (10+) and wine list too. Cool place!

Yelp
Busy but speedy. Estimate 30 minutes and took only 15. Great portions. Good menu. Brisket had a stewed beef favor and was a little gamey, but flavorful. The jalapeno corn fritters were mild but very nicely done. The eggs and streaky bacon were just a tad undercooked for my preference, but to each his own! Very good ingredients and great space

Michael P.

Yelp
Had a great outside table on a great evening. The shrimp appetizer was tasty. Enjoyed the tuna plate with ale they had on tap. Friendly, efficient service with many smiles. I would go back.

Yelp
A bit of hype about this place so thought we would check it out. The food we had (scones, muffins etc) were fine but nothing to get excited about. The main reason we came was for coffee and that was disappointing. Luke warm and weak. Won't be rushing back.
