All staffs were so attentive, friendly and greet & serve all of the customers with smile. We loved all the foods we ordered, and definitely will come back to try other foods, and will recommend to my friends, too. Finally we found the best Korean style Chinese restaurant. Two thumbs up!

Google
One of the best spots for authentic Korean gan jjajangmyeon! The fried pork served with sweet and sour sauce on the side is also excellent. The staff mentioned that their fried rice is one of the best sellers, so I’m looking forward to trying it on my next visit. The staff are very friendly and speak both Mandarin and Korean, which makes the experience even more welcoming. There’s parking available both in front and in the back. The restaurant itself doesn’t stand out much, so keep an eye out for the tall sign with their name on it. Highly recommended!

Google
A comfort food Korean Chinese restaurant, with some of the best pork and seafood jjamppong I've ever had. The prawn toast was also super delicious and a surprise because I wouldn't expect it on the item. 10/10 would come back and bring my whole family. Prices are super reasonable too!

Foods are good, ———Updated review with more detail, requested by the owner——-(12/30/2025) We’ve visited this restaurant four times during lunch hours. On other days, we couldn’t visit because they close for a lunch break. We usually ordered jajangmyeon, jjampong, and fried shrimp with spicy sauce. The jajangmyeon sauce was average compared to Chinese restaurants in the LA area. On the positive side, the jjampong was spicy and flavorful. The main downside for us was the noodle texture, which was too chewy. We don’t prefer overly soft noodles either, but both my husband and I experienced digestive discomfort afterward. The fried shrimp with spicy sauce (kanpoong shrimp) was also a bit disappointing. The sauce leaned more sweet than spicy and lacked depth compared to similar dishes at other restaurants. This review reflects our personal experience and taste, and others may enjoy it more.

Delicious Korean Chinese food! The seasoning was perfectly balanced, and everything tasted great overall. The service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. Nothing to complain about.

Google
After golf, we had lunch at Yong Moon Lu, a Chinese Korean restaurant. We ordered mixed seafood with vegetables, Mapo tofu, fried shrimp with spicy sauce, sweet and sour pork, and jjajangmyeon. The mixed seafood with vegetables was the best I’ve ever had, and the jjajangmyeon—made with freshly made noodles—was especially delicious. I don’t usually eat much Chinese food, but I’d happily come back here anytime.

Everything was packaged very nicely for takeout! They didn’t close the packaging for the fried pork all the way so everything was still so crispy when we arrived at home. Jjajangmyeon: noodles are bouncy, sauce is strong savory black bean flavor with onions and meat inside. Sweet and Sour Pork: so crispy with a side of thick sweet and sour sauce. Shrimp Fried Rice: very fragrant, lots of shrimp. Ask for a side of jjajang sauce and eat it with the fried rice!

Google
This place offers a great variety of Korean cuisine. The staff are very friendly and professional, always quick to attend to our needs. We especially loved the Korean fried shrimp toast which had a sweet and tangy flavor that my family loved. The portions sizes are large and our family of five ordered eight dishes and we finished a majority of them because it was so delicious. At the end of the meal,we even received a complimentary honey glazed sweet potato dessert.

Yelp
You have to eat the food freshly hot at the restaurant. I've gotten takeout from here multiple times, which was good but eating it at the restaurant is next level! Every time I come here, I am reminded and impressed with how good the food is. Make sure to come with a big party because then you can try multiple different dishes! On our most recent visit, my husband ordered orange chicken and I have to admit I was judging him for this choice. Boy was I wrong because this was one of the best orange chicken dishes I've ever had. It came out piping hot and the way it was glazed/crisped up reminded me of General Tso's chicken with an orange chicken flavor. Our whole party thoroughly and unexpectedly liked this dish. 5/5 We had two other fried dishes and both were freaking good. They definitely have the balance of breading to meat portions down. The tangsuyook and the kkanpung shrimp did not disappoint. Both 5/5 We of course ordered jjajangmyeon and jjamppong since we can't go to a Korean Chinese place without ordering these staple dishes. Both were delicious. The jjamppong had the perfect amount of noodles, vegetables, and seafood! Another favorite dish here is yangjangpi. This has a nice light freshness compared to the other dishes we normally get that are on the heavier end. The portions are huge and the quality of the ingredients are great. We had a much more expensive dinner the night prior at an Izakaya for a birthday celebration and the group agreed that this meal the very next day was way better for less than half the price! Service here is strong. They serve you quickly and check in often. The ambiance is also super family friendly with tables that spin so you can share all the dishes family style. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This place must be doing so well that they have developed a serious attitude problem and look down on their customers! Their service is simply unacceptable. I tried to order Ganjjajang (dry-style Jajangmyeon), but they flat-out refused, claiming they were too busy. This is the third time this has happened! It's clear they are only interested in money: they accept orders for expensive dishes but refuse the cheaper Ganjjajang. The owners are absolutely greedy and arrogant after achieving success. They seriously need a reality check and should remember their humble beginnings. BAD

Yelp
This is by far best Chinese-Korean restaurant since VIP Chinese at Cerritos until 2014, Price Chinese restaurant in Garden Grove until 1989, Yong Gung Chinese in Los Angeles until 2010, and many in between. Yong Moon Lu is by far authentic Chinese-Korean restaurant better than most CK restaurants even in Korea.

Yelp
I was visiting my parents and my dad has been here before and said it was really good, so we decided to come here for dinner. Got seated around 7pm on a Wednesday and there were maybe about 4 other tables, but by the time we were finished, the place was pretty much packed. It's good to see this place is doing well, I remember when it was a Shakey's pizza and then they went through a bunch of different Asian restaurants which all couldn't make it. Anyway, we got one jjajangmyeon, one combination chow mein, one pork fried rice, and one spicy garlic eggplant. My parents are pretty particular about good Chinese food, and they liked the food a lot. Food was really flavorful and you can tell they cooked it in a really hot wok or pan to really get that nice, deep flavor. Total was around $90 including tip, so it's not cheap. However, portion sizes are decent. Staff seems to be a mix of Koreans and Chinese and they were all friendly. They also give you some yellow radish and onion side dish and a sweet potato type dessert. A lot of tables were ordering some kind of fried dish, I think it was the sweet and sour pork. Think we will try that next time we come here.

Yelp
This is just the best ever in terms of Chinese Korean comfort food. The gan jajang myeon has wok hay for days! If you know, you know. Sweet and sour pork is my favorite. Always perfectly crispy but not dry inside with a sweet tangy sauce to dip with just the right amount of sweet vs sour. Seafood noodles is a huge portion and so yummy. Everything I've had here has been delish. I go once a month.

Yelp
Why drive to koreatown in LA when you got perfect korean food here in the 626? Yong Moon Lu was bustling when my friend and I arrived for dinner. If there's anything you have to try here, it's the fried pork for me. I have bad experience with fried pork and the sweet and sour sauce from different locations, but this spot hits diffferent. I also tried the white jjamppong and it was quite tasty. Noodles were bouncy and you can actually taste the seafood. Parking was a little compact. but they have more in the back side lot.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time this past weekend and was very impressed by their Jjamppong! The spicy broth had a strong seafood flavor, and the bowl itself came with a LOT of noodles, vegetables, and seafood (squid, octopus, shrimp). I ordered a small size ($12), and I thought it was very filling and worth the price! You get complimentary onions, radish, and fresh tea as well. The Jjajangmyeon was also pretty good! It was a little bit on the saltier side for me though. I also tried the Fried Dumpling, but I would say that item is skippable. Nothing special and I wish it came with a thick dipping sauce of some sort. The staff are extremely kind and food comes out very quick (around 5-7 minutes). I was seated right away upon entering, and it's very spacious inside. Parking is convenient since they have a large lot. Would definitely come back to try their other items!

Yelp
If familiar with Ktown, to me, Young Moon Lu is basically the lightly superior sibling to Young King. Their menus are almost completely identical but Young Moon Lu does a few dishes better in my opinion. Firstly, the king pow shrimp is much better. The biggest difference is that the sauce is separated from shrimp so that the crispiness is maintained. Not sure why more Chinese-Korean places don't do this, but it makes so much sense. The tangsuyuk is slightly better than Young King's dish. The batter is a little crispier and the meat is a little more tender, but I'm just nitpicking here. Lastly, the Mongolian beef is way better. I love how smoky it is and the beef is always tender. Everything else that I've tried is right on par with what I can get in Ktown so I'd have no problem recommending anything. The portions are also huge so I'd recommend coming with a group. If your group is large enough, I really appreciate that they have private or semi private rooms since they're really hard to find these days. Service is also exceptional. They're quick and attentive and they'll even pack your leftovers for you, which you'll probably have. It can get pretty busy during dinner hours so it's best to come during lunch times on weekends to avoid the rush.

Yelp
The food here was actually really good but we made the mistake of ordering a bunch of fried items so everything ended up super greasy and heavy. The shrimp toast was good but DEFINITELY oily. Sweet and sour pork is a must get here as well as the black bean noodles. Decent amount of parking in their lot and service is quick.

Yelp
Was in the area and wanted some jjajangmyeon and jjampong. Their parking can be a challenge with tight parking spaces. We came around 5:30pm so there was no wait but there were already several tables occupied. Staff was friendly and quick with providing menus, tea, and taking our orders. The jjampong ($15) and jjajangmyeon ($13) were such big bowls that the three of us struggled to finish. - jjampong was really spicy for us so be careful there. There were pieces of squid and shrimp. Broth was mostly just the taste of spice so wouldn't recommend. (3/5) - jjajangmyeon was really good and tasted authentic, chewy noodles and the sauce has onions and zucchini. (5/5)

Yelp
Was in the mood for noodles and decided to try (again) Yong Moon Lu as the last time I was here was under old management. To my surprise, they were packed for lunch on a Thursday which is a good sign. I wanted to try the Korean sweet & sour pork and if you come for lunch, they have lunch specials so you can get the sweet & sour pork with your choice of noodles. We ordered lunch special #2 with the sweet & sour pork + ja-jiang mien (smaller bowl than the regular size) and a standard sized bowl of the Jjampong (seafood spicy noodles). These are probably the top three dishes based on what everyone else was ordering at lunch. The sweet & sour pork didn't taste how I thought it would from the pics but it was good. You definitely need to eat it with the sauce though. The ja-jiang mien sauce was good and like most Korean style ja-jiang mien (compared to a more Chinese version) it has little to no meat in it so be warned if you were expecting more protein. Check out my pics.

Yelp
Amazing customer service and delicious food to back it up. The parking lot is pretty quaint and the interior is very warm and vibrant. Went here for Sunday lunch and the place wasn't entirely packed. We got the fried pork, fried shrimp, Mongolian beef, and the jjajangmyeon. Everything was delicious but the fried pork and fried shrimp stole the show for sure. A lot of people recommended the fried pork because of how crispy it is. They purposely put the sauce on the side so you can enjoy the crispiness of the pork and the sweet/tangy sauce. The weekday lunch menu looks amazing and I can't wait to take advantage of that!

Yelp
Never had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant but friend has ordered take out twice and the food is always soooooo good. Really really love the cold platter mix. All the choices are so good and I think the pricing js great. The kids love the fried rice. The tangsuyuk and jajjangmyeon was also very good. The only thing I recalled about the restaurant was the parking was super limited and full when we stopped pick up the food. Can't stop thinking about the cold dish.

Yelp
Yong Moon Liu hits all the right notes when it comes to Korean-Chinese cuisine. They delivered all the classic dishes with high quality. The 자장면 (Jajangmyeon) was spot on--thick, chewy (쫄깃쫄깃 ) noodles coated in that rich, savory black bean sauce. 짬뽕 (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) got depth, heat, and a generous mix of seafood. The 탕수육 (Sweet and Sour Pork) was crispy with just enough chew. I know some like to pour the sauce over but I actually like getting a bowl for the sauce and dip the pork in the sauce instead. 깐풍새우 (Spicy Garlic Fried Shrimp) was a crowd favorite... at least it was my favorite. I could just eat it without sauce. 마파두부 (Mapo Tofu) was great with rice too. Just a note, If you were expecting traditional Chinese version with the numbing spiciness or the Japanese style that's sweeter, then you may not find this version to stand out. But I think this version is good in its own way. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned. There's a lot of private room so I think it's a great restaurant to have large parties. I wouldn't be surprised if people celebrate the first birthday (돌) party here. Service was efficient and low-key. Most importantly, all the portions were generous. We've been back twice and can't wait to return again when I'm craving that comforting, familiar Korean-Chinese flavor.

Yelp
Went sunday, it can get a bit busy but it goes fast. It's definitely the place for jajangmyeon the sweet and sour fried pork. Everyone was ordering it! Really flavorful and it's all made fresh, so the food does take time to come out. We also had the crab fried rice, it was light and good. I think this will be our go to spot for jajangmyeon!

Yelp
Located in an unassuming area, this restaurant was super lively! Parking is a bit of a hassle as it's located on a busy street. This is a Chinese-Korean fusion restaurant but appears that it's mainly Korean speakers visit here. My friend recommended this place as she mentioned the jjajangmyeon is really good here. And wow she was correct! It was super flavorful packed with a lot of meat, zucchini, and onions. My fear is that the sauce overpowers the dish but it was just the right amount of sweetness/savory. Super delicious and the raw onion/pickled radish on the side actually complemented well when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the sauce. Got a regular sized and it was plenty big for me- definitely recommend checking this out! I also enjoyed the candied sweet potato at the end- a good palate cleanser.

Yelp
I was definitely in a mood for some authentic Chinese food, and when I saw the sign outside completely in Chinese, I knew I was in the right place! The service is incredible, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food portions are very generous, between 2 people, we ordered 3 plates. We didn't even make a dent and we were able to split the rest to take home. They have a nice selection of items, from noodles and rice to meat and seafood. The mushroom and bok choy is one of my favs. I will definitely come back to try some of their other items, and make sure you come with a big appetite!

Yelp
DELICIOUS!!!! Friends brought us here for celebrate Chinese New Year and I enjoyed every single bite. Wonderful service, and especially enjoyed our area which was a separate banquet room. Despite being extremely busy, the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Entrees we all enjoyed- it is difficult to pick a favorite because every bite was so delicious: Sizzling rice soup (best broth!) Fried dumplings (since they didn't have egg rolls-not something I'd have to order again though) Jajangmyeon Spicy garlic shrimp Tangsuyuk (pork) Mongolian beef Sautéed Bok choy & mushroom Shrimp Fried Rice It's as authentic Chinese/Korean as I've ever experienced. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
solid chinese korean food spot in rowland! came here on a weekday night with no wait! once seated, they give side dish consisting of black bean concentrate, raw onions, and yellow pickled radish. they serve hot tea chinese style~ compared to all the other korean places out there, their noodle dishes are very mild and taste a lot cleaner/healthier. i liked this because it felt less greasy, and if i wanted it saltier, i could adjust with salt and pepper on the side. service is super fast and efficient, food came out in less than 5 min! lots of koreans here so i know this is a solid spot :) they also have a lot of other dishes i haven't tried that are more chinese fusion style. ambiance is like a dim sum restaurant! overall a solid spot, would come again to try their other dishes!

Yelp
JAJANGMYEEOON SO YUMMYYYYY. good sharing size too. the staff is so, so friendly i will def be back for some more.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place when searching Korean Black Bean Noodles The parking area stretches at the side and back of the establishment. Two 'aunty' who were the server at that time very accommodative. Only thing is that will be great if the menu has more info on ingredients / how it cooks. The noodles were tasted like home cooking while other food we ordered, garlic pork was quite spicy (good taste for asian's measure though).

Yelp
Sweet and sour pork and jjajangmyeon are my nostalgic comfort foods, so when my brother said he found a great spot in Rowland Heights, we had to try it. I really loved their sweet and sour pork--it was meaty, well-fried, and had a good sauce. The fried chicken with hot sauce was delicious, with just the right amount of spiciness. The fried shrimp with hot sauce was a hit, too. The only thing that felt a little lacking was the jjajangmyeon; it was a bit bland for my taste. Overall, it was a good spot with great food and fast service.
google avatar

Harrison T.

Yelp
After spending some time at the range, I was hungry and Jjajangmyeon sounded pretty good. There is a pretty decently sized parking lot and we were seated quickly. It was moderately busy even being between lunch and dinner. We unfortunately just missed the lunch specials so we opted for the regular sized Jjajangmyeon and a full order of the sweet and sour pork. The Jjajangmyeon was fantastic, great balance of flavors with chewy noodles with a great bite. The sweet and sour pork was super crispy, it has a nice and light flavor by itself, but the sauce is where the flavor is, served on the side to preserve the crispiness. It was overall on the pricey side for a quick lunch, but that's on us since we missed the lunch specials. In fairness the portions were large, banquet style, so we had a bunch to take home. I would definitely come by again for the Jjajangmyeon next time I'm in east SGV.

Yelp
One of the best Korean/Chinese restaurants you can go in the area! The jajangmyeon and crispy fried pork with sweet and sour sauce are soooo good!! I always recommend my friends to come here when they ask for a Korean/Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend! The pricing is also averagely priced for this type of food items within socal. I would say the portion size is worth it as well. I also like their hot tea they provide. Service is also such nice and friendly staff!
google avatar

Yelp
Been here twice and we absolutely love the jjajangmyeon here. It's a small place, but worth coming to try out. I highly recommend the Kung Pao chicken + Jjajangmyeon lunch combo. The spices and the Kung pao itself tastes very good, and the peppers are not so dry and blends well with the chicken and sauce. If you're looking to try out somewhere different for korean/chinese dishes, I recommend giving this at least a 1 time shot.

Yelp
Always delicious! Decided to get fried shrimp instead of tangsuyuk and it was just as good. It was with hot chili sauce which was tangy and savory. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and were pretty large as well. The jjamppong was packed with flavor also with tons of seafood and vegetables. It was my first time having it so I'm not sure how it compares to others though. Food always comes out super fast (within 10 mins) so you barely have to wait!

Yelp
I heard that Yong Moon Lu had great jajangmyeon and tangsuyak. I went on a Saturday a bit after they opened. They have their own parking lot with spots in the front. There seems to be a lot in the back as well. Upon heading inside, the staff was able to help me order right away. I asked how much would one order of jajangmyeon would serve and that would be one person. With that in mind, I ordered (2) jajangmyeon and (1) tangsuyak. They mentioned it would take about 10 minutes. It seems to be a big restaurant. They already had a few parties inside, despite it being a few minutes after opening for the day. I was handed a takeout box, which included everything separated in different containers. I really appreciated that since it was easy to carry out and sort out later. The jajangmyeon was good. At first I thought there was too much black bean sauce. However, I ended up mixing the entire container. The tangsuyak was very crispy on the outside. For the sauce, there was a lot of different assortment of things in it such as onions, carrots, cucumber, mushroom, and pineapple. The sweetness reminds me of an orange chicken flavor. It was honestly a bit too sweet by itself, but I think it was great in combination with the jajangmyeon. Overall, I really enjoyed the food. My only comment would be that they didn't provide a lot of radish on the side. Also, the serving is definitely 2 people. I'd consider myself as someone that can eat a lot, but even that was a lot! Note: They do credit card, but not American Express.

Yelp
First time dining at a Korean restaurant that serves Chinese food or Chinese inspired cuisine. The portion is family style, so I wasn't able to order and try too many dishes when it was just me and my friend. My friend and I got the shrimp toast appetizer, jajangmyeon, and sweet and sour pork. The shrimp toast was too bready for me, but maybe that is how it is traditionally made in Chinese-Korean cuisine. The jajangmyeon was as expected, and the sweet and sour pork were strips of fried pork with sweet and sour sauce served on the side. All were delicious nonetheless. This restaurant is not mid-size. Parking is easy if it's not busy, but I want on a day where they had a big tour bus parked in the lot dropping tourists off to eat at the restaurant. The dining experience feels like eating at a Chinese restaurant, which gives it an authentic vibe. Overall, I'd go again if I want Chinese-Korean food.

Yelp
When I went there two weeks ago, I ordered a noodle and the sauces were burned and I did not say anything and ate it. Last week, I went there again, just tried it one more time. I ordered rice soup, instead of cooked rice, they put a white rice instead. Well, I paired the bill with my credit card and did not put the tip there, as usually, I put tip separately with cash on the table. When a waitress took my credit card receipt then she began to walk backwards and stopped by my desk and angrily said, " where is my tip, you did not put the tip here." I was so shocked. I said I put it on the table in cash. She got more mad and said , " you need to put the tip on the tray and not on the table." I did not what to say. It a few months ago, I would have said something, but it was not worth it. I worked at the Chinese/ Korean restaurant like this for over 40 years as an assistant cook, busboy, waiter and manager. I then worked for the city as a police officer and retired and went to a law school so I am a lawyer. I was so shocked by this waitress' act , I cannot believe I got such insults and nothing is going to happen to her. This restaurant needs to be investigated for their cooking ingredients because they were all wrong.

Yelp
After binging K-drama for a week, my craving was - jajangmyeon the korean chinese black bean sauce noodles. Thanks to Yelp I got to meet my friend here for dinner on a recent Monday night. We were seated right away and we decided to share the noodles and a shredded pork stir fry dish. The portions are very generous here. We had enough leftovers to feed another family of 4 ! The delicious jajangmyeon definitely satisfied our cravings, the sauce was thick and the noodles were soft. I'm not sure why, but we probably did not need the seafood version of this same dish. But it was great as leftovers. They were really busy the whole night. I see this place is quite popular. Parking is available in the front and back of the restaurant

Yelp
Stopped by with friends for lunch on Sunday and had a lovely meal. Plentiful parking in their lot when I visited. Service was friendly and the restaurant was well decorated with private dining rooms to the side. The food tasted clean and fresh compared to other spots for Korean Chinese food which are heavier and delicious in their own right. The portions of protein and veggies were generous! I've never ran out of rice or noodles before even making a dent on the protein and veggies. We ordered the jajangmyeon (4/5), Jjamppong (3.5/5), and sweet & sour pork (5/5). The pork was the highlight, it was freshly fried and very crispy with a light, tangy sauce. The jjamppong wasn't as flavorful as I'd like, but it was very hearty. Overall, a solid spot for Korean Chinese food! I can see myself bringing family for celebrations.

Yelp
This place is always poppin! Whether you're dining in or picking up to-go, Yong Moon Lu is usually packed and buzzing with families and big gatherings. It's lively, energetic, and clearly a local favorite. I've tried Korean-Chinese food all over the U.S., and while the Bay Area has its fair share of spots, I hadn't found jjajangmyeon that really hit like it does in Korea... until now. Yong Moon Lu absolutely nails it. It's a bit pricey, but the quality and flavor make it worth the splurge. We've ordered both in-person and takeout. The staff is kind, professional, and speaks Korean, which adds to the authentic feel and convenient for those of us that only know how to say the dish names in Korean. Our takeout was packed with care, which ensured no spillage or sogginess. Here's what we've tried: - Seafood Gan Jjajangmyeon: Loaded with seafood and bursting with flavor. Rich, savory, and a bit salty, but overall delicious. - Regular Jjajangmyeon: My personal go-to. The classic sauce is so good, I always save leftovers to eat as jjajangbap for Round 2. Yum! - Seafood Jjamppong: Generous with seafood, which I appreciate since so many places skimp. The broth is on the lighter side though, so it's just okay for me. - Hot Braised Green Beans: A sleeper hit! Blistered to perfection, lightly spicy, and full of ground meat, which is perfect over rice. And don't even get me started on the goguma mattang they serve at the end (on the house!). It's sweet, sticky, crunchy, and dangerously addictive. Like crack, in the best (and worst-for-your-teeth) way. Highly recommend if you're craving legit Korean-Chinese comfort food.

Yelp
As a Korean American growing up in Southern California, there is no other cuisine of food I've eaten more than Korean-Chinese restaurants while meeting in large groups whether it be for family gatherings, after church shenanigans, or on the way home after a trip. My family and I have been to so many of these Korean-Chinese restaurants but this was a first at this spot. Here's what we ordered: **Jjamppong: Delicious and refreshing. Broth isn't overly salty and very light. It comes with a variety and good amount of seafood. (5/5) **Jjajangmyeon: Delicious! The black bean sauce isn't too salty and it's really flavorful. Portions are large! (5/5) **Beef Broccoli: Very flavorful! Has a generous amount of beef and broccoli especially for the lunch combo portion. Not too salty either which is a plus. (5/5) If you go in for lunch, definitely get the lunch combo. We got the jjamppong with beef broccoli as a lunch combo and jjajangmyeon in a large size. More than enough food for two average people. The banchan they serve is typical including yellow picked radish and a side of onions. Portion size is small for the initial complimentary order but they will give you a large portion if you request more. Staff here is great! I 100% recommend this spot! Parking lot is quite tight in the front of the restaurant but there's additional parking in the back.

Yelp
great place to eat with friends and family!! the prices are reasonable and the food is great! here's what we got jajangmyeon: 5/5 very balanced and the best black bean noodle I've had in a while! Not too greasy and oily sweet and sour pork: 4/5 large portion definitely something you want to share! a little bit on the dry side pork and yellow chives: 4/5 well seasoned and cooked great! Come with some tasty buns! I'd say look at the menu before and be ready to order when you get seated since the food can take a while to come out!

Yelp
The best Black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon) and Sweet & Sour pork (tangsuyuk) in SGV, hands down! The place offers traditional dishes from both China and Korea. -Jjajangmyeon: 4/5. Chewy and tangy texture. The sauce is quite thick, with lots of onions and ground pork/pork belly. They also give you banchan (side dishes) to pair with. - Jjampong: 4.5/5. Spicy Seafood soup, my friend loves it, he said it's fresh, the soup has a little kick to it with the spiciness. - Tangsuyuk: 5/5. my favorite! Very crispy, crunchy outside, but super soft and moisture inside! You can either pouring or dipping the sauce, up to you, I personally like dipping more so that all my bites are covered in sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice: 3/5. It has real crab meat, i'm just not a fan in general, wish it has a little bit more flavor. - Bok Choy w Mushroom: 4.5/5. Loved the sauce! Huge mushroom. (on a pricier side) - Orange Chicken: 100/5. Omg mind blown, i've had so many orange chickens, this is the best! The orange sauce spots on, chicken is super crispy outside, but juicy inside. A quite small parking in front, they have more in the back. It gets crowded around lunch and dinner time, but the line moves fast.

Yelp
Love this place! A great fusion of Korean and Chinese flavors. We came for the jjangmeon and were satisfied with all the other dishes we tried. Service was amazing, and we were grateful to be seated in a private room for our large party. It looks like they just redid their interior, it looks brighter. Also love the candied sweet potato that they serve at the end. Always love coming here!

Yelp
Excellent food, ambience, service at a reasonable price. What else can you ask for? Their tang soo yook is the best. Big spicy shrimp dish yummm. Their jja jang is also top notch. Personally, I think this is the best Korean chinese in Socal including spots in koreatown LA.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to eat Chinese Korean food! The honey walnut shrimp was hot and incredible. Very good crisp texture and portion was large. The jjamppong was also great, flavorful soup with plenty of seafood. Just the perfect amount of spice. My husband is Korean and is very picky about his Jajangmyeon He said this spot is his favorite by far. We wanted to try the spicy jajangmyeon but they said the spicy option is only available of weekdays. So we must come back and try again. The staff is very quick and friendly, great spot for family dinner as the portions are shareable. They even have a private room in the back for larger sized groups. We had no trouble finding parking as there is a private lot right in front.

Yelp
me and my friend were craving jajangmyeon so we decided to check this place out - the interior was very spacious - we got three items and shared between two people. the sweet & sour pork (4.6/5) was very crispy but wished the sauce was a tad bit more sour. the jjamppong (4.8/5) had the right amount of spiceness & the jajangmyeon (4.7/5) hit the spot for our cravings. wished that the black bean sauce was a tad bit thicker. - the servers were fast on their service and assisted us to our needs a restaurant with great priced items so would love to come back here again!

Yelp
Great food and service. The best jajangmyeon I have trying so far. Next time we will try different things.

Yelp
Yong moon lu is the best. I would go everyday if I could! The yangjang pi was the best I've ever had with just enough spice from the mustard. It was delicious as leftovers too (the portions were huge - we had leftovers for days). The fried chicken was really good too. Even better than the sweet and sour pork, which is typically my favorite. We were so full but still enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and jjampong. The candied sweet potato they gave at the end as a free dessert was absolutely delightful. I wish they sold it! It's so good. Not too sweet (the best Asian compliment). The staff are extremely fast, helpful, and very hard working. We got great service. Can't wait to go again! Try to go early because they have a huge wait but.. it's also worth the wait. Parking lot is small-ish so find parking elsewhere on the street

Yelp
My friends were telling me how great this Chinese restaurant was. So, I was in the area last weekend, which made me to call in for pick up order: Gan Jja Jjang, Jjamm Ppong, and Sweet and Sour Pork. When I came back home, I was especially disappointed with Gan Jja Jjang. Compared to other Chinese restaurants it was too salty and their meat quality wasn't good. However, their Jjam Ppong and Sweet and Sour Pork were good and decent. Maybe, they had an off night with Gan Jja Jjang because it shouldn't have been that salty and that was the food that was the last one to come out before I was able to grab my orders. Next time, I will just try their regular black bean noodle and see how that will be like. But, overall, it was just average and Gan Jja Jjang was below average that night.

Yelp
I will share the pros and cons. Pros: service was fast and nice, place seemed clean. Cons: food did not taste good, extremely disappointing their jjajangmyun black bean noodles were so bland and they used ground meat instead of diced meat like most places. The sauce lacked flavor. we also ordered couple entrees as they were okay. sweet and sour pork 4/5, fried rice 3/5, jjajangmyun 1/5, jjambbong seafood noodle3/5, hot garlic shrimp 2/5. Only really good thing was the sweet and sour pork. wanted to try this place with the family but we won't be coming back. thank you for the nice service but the food isn't to our likings.

Yelp
delicious food! i got the jjajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork! fast service and nice workers! it does get super busy quick (especially weekends), so don't expect this to be a quiet dine in place. the restaurant gives family dine in vibes. parking isn't really ideal, but will be coming back again.

Yelp
This is my first time eating Korean style udon, which I missed so much. The moment we received the food, everyone let out a small gasp of surprise. I was surprised by the shape of the udon, surprised by the ingredients, and surprised by the amount of food. You can clearly see the sincerity of the person who prepared the food. I am deeply grateful for the care put into each bowl of udon. It reminds me of my hometown~

Yelp
Got our food to go. The Orange Chicken doesn't taste the same like other places. The Sweet and Sour Pork isn't that good either. The pork are fried fingerlings and it the texture was very hard to chew and dry. The Black Bean Noodles were good. I liked the udon noodles. And the sauce that came with it was not overpowering, it wasn't too salty or sweet. It was very mild tasting. However, it's not the same as I thought it would have tasted. There are no meat in the sauce. Crab fried rice was good and has flavor but the rice was really hard and tough. I dunno if the rice was dried out but it made the whole dish dry.

Yelp
Mapo tofu FTW!!! This is the best mapo tofu I've had in a long long time. Usually when I order it from other places they make theirs a little too ketchup-y. I think my fellow mapo tofu lovers will understand what that means. This place spices theirs to perfection. I have a feeling my baby girl is gonna be a bit spicy just like her mama cuz I've been craving spice!!! In my opinion their jjajangmyun and jjambbong is just ok. I've definitely had better elsewhere but their mapo tofu is so good that it's worth coming just for this dish. Will will be trying other meat dishes next time and steer away from the noodles.
