Good location and a wonderful service from everyone. The buffet breakfast was okay , can’t really complain about “free” food. The rooftop was exceptional. The food, views and drinks up there were the highlight of the hotel. When it comes the room they are lack luster. The bed is average, the pillows are okay but if you want comfort you might have to stack them up. The light in the bathroom is very minimal. You can hear the highway traffic from outside and the room was missing some basic things like an iron, wash clothes etc.

Yoo2 Hotel has quickly become one of my favorite places to stay when traveling abroad. My experience with the front desk was seamless, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout my visit. Housekeeping was consistently outstanding. I stayed for five nights, and every time I returned to my room, it was perfectly cleaned and well maintained. I also did not hear any outside nose in my room so that was a plus. This location is close to the mall, restaurants and beaches. The hotel’s amenities, including laundry service, daily breakfast, and happy hour, were extremely convenient for travelers. This hotel truly surpasses many 5-star properties I’ve stayed in. Yoo2 will definitely be my go-to whenever I travel to Brazil. Thank you so much to the entire team for an exceptional stay.

This hotel is a complete scam. We booked and paid back in June for a very specific room with a view, exactly as shown in the photos. When we arrived, they gave us a completely different room: on the lower level, facing the street, with zero privacy — people can see directly inside. When we showed the receptionist the room type we had actually booked, she arrogantly told us that “the room is equivalent to what you booked on ebookers.” This is not true: ebookers confirmed that the hotel told them the photos were subjective and needed to be updated. The hotel is clearly lying to cover itself. Worst of all, they offered absolutely NO solution — no alternative, no compensation, not even an apology. The rooms look nothing like the photos, and they insist that “all rooms are the same,” even though we paid much more for a better room with a proper view. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and refuses to take any responsibility. As for the surroundings: the neighborhood feels unsafe, with many homeless people around and even a camp right in front of the entrance. There is a guard downstairs, but the whole area still feels uncomfortable and far from what you expect in Rio. And the most shocking part: this is not our first hotel in Rio — we’ve stayed in several — and this was supposed to be our first 5-star hotel here… yet it turned out to be the worst of them all. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We are loving our stay. The location is great, the staff is very cordial and helpful. And Junior at the roof bar is the best! We had the best seats to watch the Christmas tree and fireworks show at Praia Botafogo, a lovely surprise.

Had a great stay here, best view in Rio of Sugar loaf mountain. Victoria and Junior at the roof top bar were great. Always remembered you and your favourite drink. Breakfast was good and all the staff were really friendly.

I have stay at JW rio I found this hotel is newer, budget friendly and better view compared to JW, the staff gave us a free upgrade which we appreciate a lot. The view was amazing, the location was very convenient, walking distance to one of the shopping mall. The only thing that I’m not satisfied was their breakfast I know it’s not fair to compare it with JW, otherwise I’m very satisfied overall

The hotel is well located and easily accessible, with parking available for both business travelers and those traveling by car. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and organized. The air conditioning works perfectly and quietly, there's a minibar, a TV, and clean, fragrant bedding. The other hotel amenities are excellent. The staff are friendly and very polite, despite having stayed for only a day and a half with my girlfriend, we felt very well served by the service. The view from the room was postcard-worthy, with Pão de Açúcar welcoming us. The breakfast is hearty, with a variety of fruits, juices, breads, cakes, coffee, and more. There's a rooftop restaurant with an excellent menu and a beautiful view. We recommend staying on higher floors to avoid the noise around the hotel, especially at night. We highly recommend it!

Hotel in great location in Rio, right in Botafogo beach. Staff is friendly and helped with all my inquiries. The rooms are hip and modern. Their rooftop bar has a great view of the beach, the Sugarloaf Mountain, and Christ the Redeemer. Fantastic Wifi!! Take advantage of their free breakfast. There's also two metro stops within walking distance, Flamengo and Botafogo.
