Been living here for almost 3 months now and i’m regretting the decision of moving here. Within the first week of living here, our car was broken into. There’s absolutely no security here so we installed our own cameras. They didn’t replace the carpet so it has old looking carpet. Granted they did ask if I wanted it replaced AFTER i moved in, why wouldn’t it have been automatically replaced instead of waiting til move in?? They’ll try to sell you on that you can buy a “cheap” portable ac which is also not true, for a good one you’ll be spending close to $500 just for one and you will need one for every room literally to have any type of circulation. Was also told they’ve never receiced noise complaints which has to be a lie because you can hear everything through the walls especially the creaking in the floors, it will sound like someone is walking around in your home (obviously i know its an older building & creaking is expected but I wouldn’t think to that extent). Our stove and washer has been out for days & they will put our work orders on the backend and put the other complex’s before yours at Yorkshire. If you dont care about being neglected by your management or security for your stuff then it’s not a bad place to live for the space & price. Update 01/30/25: After living here for almost a year, I will say I it is still disappointing not having onsite maintenance but the staff is super friendly and can make up for it. They also have improved with the security by having them check in more which is really appreciated.

We have lived in Yorkshire square for about a year and a half and what keeps us here is the quality of customer service and the beautiful views! Birgit, Heather and the rest of the management team are amazing! They truly care about their residents experience and do their best to go above and beyond. If you are looking for somewhere new or modern this isn’t the place for you. The units are older and unique, but they have their charm. My family and I have had a great experience living here so far!

Been with Yorkshire for 4 years. While we have had ups and downs with other tenants being disrespectful to the property, the staff at Yorkshire are attentive, helpful, friendly and diplomatic. Birgit has been absolutely amazing and the way she manages this property is like that of a great leader, I don’t think the management company really understands what an asset she is. Receiving assistance with general maintenance is super easy, and the maintenance team has been very helpful, friendly and funny. It is an extremely quiet part of Colorado Springs that makes you feel away from the hustle and bustle. With Cottonwood Creek Trail access it makes walking your dogs easy and enjoyable. We have absolutely loved living here!

This is the best apartment / townhouse rental place I have ever lived at. We get answers for any questions we have and broken stuff will be fixed right away. Also we always get little gifts for holidays and birthdays. Birgit and the rest of her team really hit it out of the park. Amazing living, quiet, clean and safe!!

We had Kevin as our first property manager and he honestly sold us on the place with his attitude. He was very kind and helpful and compassionate. Unfortunately, he left only a few weeks into our lease and the place went south fast. Absolutely worst company ever. Management changes every 4 months so they have no clue as to the previous state of home. Needed multiple fixes to doors, windows, lights, etc that were never fixed no matter how many times we asked. Seriously, my back door would not open half the time and several windows would not shut all the way. Great for the winter....Patio gate was warped and was tough to open and the entire ground was so eroded that we had to clean our shoes off everytime we went outside. Loud neighbors with surround sound were never delt with even after police noise complaints. Made me pay for cleanup fees for previous renters wear and tear. I spent an entire weekend cleaning top to bottom on move out day to be showed a missed hair on the floor and a lone spot on the wall and was told my deposit would be taken to wipe a rag across it. Oh and it's waaaaay too expensive. I lived at Yorkshire Square and 1200$ is not worth that piece of junk. You're just paying for cottonwood creek right behind your home. Do not rent from, they will only do the bare minimum, collect your money.

I recently moved, but I used to live here. The people that work here are phenomenal and professional. They addressed all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend

Was great for a few months, then the townhomes were infested with mice. When I initially reported it, they sent two staff members over with two disposable wooden mouse traps and no bait. Killed two of the mice, didn't get a response for weeks and more mice started appearing. Took three months to get an exterminator to the house who left sticky mouse traps and sprayed foam in some of the obvious spots and put in a request to seal off the hole they were entering through outside of the house. The hole was not sealed even after resubmitting the request and I ended up purchasing a lot more traps and finally getting rid of the mice myself. I put in maintenance requests for other issues, including never being issued a working key for the back door and the washer and dryer breaking for no reason and kept receiving messages that my request was completed with no improvements being made. Decided not to renew my lease and was told during the final inspection that I could expect most of my deposit back, I received less than half of it with no explanation as to why.

They let the lawn die at the beginning of the summer. The furnace had issues all winter to the point where I woke up to frozen water in the toilet. The windows do not hold heat. Had a stove and dishwasher go out in only 8 months. Had to put in 5 or more maintenance requests in order to get outlets put in so I didn't have to tape my plugs to the wall. The house smelled like cat urine for the first 5 months. We spent $60 on carpet deodorant. There is a yellow jacket infestation currently happening. I could go on and on really.
