I wouldn't imagine having the best rice bowl inside this simple elegant place. It is always fun to sit in an open kitchen area that allows you to observe the whole process. First of all, I thought the shop only opens from evening since it is called Yoru which means evening/ night in Japanese. Later found out they also open for lunch hour. Roast beef bowl contains slow cooked roast beef. This allows the meat to keep its tenderness and very juicy inside. The beef tongue is crunchy outside and juicy inside, not dry at all. Rib is my most recommended dish. The sauce is a bit sweet and it elevates the taste of the beef. Also ordered a chocolate ice lolli. I have told the staff about my comment on that and she is kind and willing to hear my comments. Much appreciated.

The foods is super good,the beef,seafood,rice,also the side dishes are elaborate. We enjoyed a lot , we’ll come back to try different things next time. highly recommended!! But you have make a reservation first.

Beef tongue was amazing!! Never have had this experience before. The texture is mind blowing. Other beef dishes were great too. However, seafood based dishes were mediocre. Great thing is that the set ended with an amazing dessert. Like the tart and icecream so much. The ice cream has a special, rich flavor but not very sweat. It totally surprised me. Suggest the chef be flexible in changing dishes for people allergic to seafood (my friend helped eat mine)

Modern, upclass Michelin eatery. Not too formal dining experience with counter seats to observe chefs in action. Food is plated beautifully and served quickly. There is option to store coats and bags at small lockers to dine comfortably. Recommended for a modern and tasty dining experience with one two friends or partner.

Impromptu walk-in and was lucky enough to get a seat for one. Ordered a katsudon set but was left feeling somewhat underwhelmed. The fried pork cutlet wasn’t particularly tough or dry but was a bit lacking in flavor and aroma. Being a huge fan of tsukemono, the side dishes tasted overnight (dry and stale). ☹️ Perhaps the beef dishes tasted better.

High-quality food at a reasonable price! The beef tongue ton was delicious, and the pork cutlet was incredibly juicy.

The beef was cooked perfectly, with only a few seasonings but still tasted good👍Even the side dishes were delicate as well. Lastly, the soft-boiled egg combined with the sliced beef makes the food extraordinary 🤩 Apart from the meal time being too short, for only one hour, everything in this restaurant is so perfect🥩🍮🍺💯

The rib finger set was heavenly! It was perfectly cooked and well presented, and the soup that came with the set tasted amazing as well. The atmosphere of the shop is modern and quiet like a speakeasy bar which allows you to really focus on the food. The staff members were kind and friendly, which made the entire dining experience enjoyable. I can’t wait to go back again to try other things!
