It was far from the true taste of Japan. I even asked the waiter if the chef was Japanese — he wasn’t, he was Italian.
The oyster came plain, without any seasoning or Japanese vinegar, just a few tasteless flowers for decoration. When I asked for a sauce, it took 20 minutes to receive a simple French-style vinegar.
The sashimi platter was disappointing — the three slices of fish were stuck together, with no offset to show they were separate pieces, making them look like a single cube.
The Wagyu beef itself was of good quality, but again, there was no charcoal grilling, no authentic Japanese flavor.
I keep the best for the end , for such a classy restaurant you will only be offered wooden disposable chopsticks , with an unusable shape even for expert like my wife is .. They are made of unpolished wood , rectangle instead of round and stays open at the end even when you squeeze them
