Google
Definitely me and my family's favorite ramen place. It is perfect in every way!

So this is actually one of the better ramen joints in town, yes really, in the mall cafeteria. The broths are rich, the noods are thick, and the steamed buns are sooo soft and fresh from the bamboo steamer baskets visible from the counter. Yum yum!

This is my favourite ramen in town. I know it's in a mall food court, but don't let that fool you. They have the best noodles, and the Tonkatsu broth is just the right balance of creamy and spicy. Best thing for a head cold! Also, the matcha lemonade is fantastic.

Google
Good solid choice for ramen. They are served in melamine bowls with plastic spoons. The tonkatsu flavor was good. Pricing was $11 for the bowl which is pretty average for restaurant ramen. There was a chili sauce on the side inside the bowl so if you can't handle spicy you might want to ask for it not in the soup.

Ordered some takeout. Got one single, solitary piece of chicken

Google
Very flavorful food!!! The pork buns, almost like little tacos, were so good!!! I like the style of the noodles I got and the flavors were very versatile and combine well together. The staff was friendly and helpful in ordering as it was our first time there! Great food for the money!:)

Google
This ramen is disgusting and that’s being polite.. I ordered the spicy oni and upon receiving it, it smelled like straight up chemicals or diesel! I don’t know how to describe it, but I couldn’t even take a single bite of it without being put off by the smell. Whatever was in it just lingered on my lips.. it was so bad, I threw it out. Waste of money! Stick to Ika and Jinya. Never again..

Yelp
I guess I shouldn't have had super high hopes, since I'm not at home in Portland, but I was rather let down by this ramen. It looked delicious, and was scorching hot, but had absolutely zero flavor whatsoever. I definitely don't recommend this for ramen lovers. There's also the fact that they charged me a fee to get it to go.

Yelp
Ramen at the food court at Westroads Mall. Ordered the spicy noodles with pork. The soup base was decent with a good bite. The pork slices were on the tough side, probably needed longer tenderizing in my opinion. They keep the food court area pretty clean. Overall, a decent place for ramen at the Westroads Mall.

Yelp
Favorite Youngest Granddaughter is still at the stage where food selections are, well, limiting. Her go to food is ramen, specifically chicken ramen broth and noodles. No egg. No nori. No chili paste. No garlic. No meat. Definitely no scallions. But having said that, she would happily eat her weight in Yoshi-Ya's ramen. I understand her choice. It's a great broth, served quickly in the middle of a mall's food court. (It's why she calls for "Mall Ramen" anytime she get a chance to pick a place to eat). Me, I've had most of their bowls, and all have been consistently tasty, and a real change from the typical food hall fast food. So I'm always happy to echo her call for Mall Ramen!

Yelp
This is one of the food vendors in Westroads mall and the ramen was good, but not the greatest. Noodles are on the thicker side, the egg wasn't very flavorful, but the meat was flavorful but very fatty. There's no service or ambiance to mention considering it's a little shop though.

Yelp
Had to grab the kiddo some new shoes for basketball and decided to pop into flagship commons for a bite. She did her usual, tacos from Jaun Taco, but I decided to steer clear of my normal Yum Roll and try Yoshi-Ya. I've never really been to a Ramen spot so I ordered the Spicy Oni Ramen, on a humbug. I asked the guy at the register what he recommended to add on, but the language barrier didn't get us very far. The food took about 10 minutes to get to me but when it did....... First and foremost don't try this if you don't like a little spice (because there's some kick). Everything from the noodles to the broth tastes rich and full of flavor. There aren't your $0.75 ramen packs (from the grocery store), these are super thick and packed with flavor. The broth consisted of green onions and plenty of herbs and spices that you can sop up with a little mini spoon. The serving size is healthy, I could have split this with the kiddo and both been good and full. Overall: Loved it!!!! This may actually become my new go to when I'm in the Westroads. Delicious, full of flavor and definitely filling.

Yelp
Seldom have I've been disappointed in the food or service by any Flagship establishment and Yoshi Ya is no different. My husband and I went on a date night and decided to walk around the mall before settling upon Flagship Commons for dinner. The only condition was to try something that we had never had before. I could kick myself for waiting so long. This ramen is amazing, but honestly, was I expecting any less?? And clearly I'm not the only one who thought so. Of all the restaurants at flagship that day, Yoshi-Ya was the busiest from what we could tell (although cold weather may have something to do with that). I got the basic Tonkotsu Ramen and I added shiitake mushrooms and the fish cakes. My husband got the spicy ramen and added an egg. We both devoured our bowls and drank up all the broth...so I think we enjoyed it. Now this has put us on a ramen kick so we will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

Yelp
Between the Google reviews and the Yelp reviews, my husband and I were ready to try this place. Today was the first and last time we will be going. We ordered the Tori Paitan Ramen with no swirled fish cake. 1. The first bite of chicken I tasted was awful. It had a reheated taste. 2. The broth was lukewarm at best. 3. All in all, it was lacking in flavor. Between the both of us, we took 3 or 4 bites and ended up tossing the rest, it was so bad. Save your money and try a different place.

Yelp
When I need a quick lunch at work and grab something off Uber Eats, I don't expect something as good at Yoshi-Ya. *Especially* when it's something like ramen, which can often show up with squishy noodles and mushy vegetables, all mixed up in a starchy broth. Not so with Yoshi-Ya. The noodles / accoutrements are packaged separately from the rich, piping hot broth, to be added by you, right before eating. Especially in the age of covid, I appreciate smart packaging to allow for a restaurant-like experience at home. Their gyoza are excellent, with a bite of green onion accompanying the pork. Today I downed them all even before I made it to my tonkatsu ramen. The broth is rich packed with flavor and salt and the noodles are consistently perfectly done. Shockingly, they are located in a mall food court--not that I would know, since I've only had delivery. Someday I'll actually go into the mall to visit. For now, when I have a ramen craving in Omaha, they're my first call for quick delivery.

Yelp
We ordered the spicy oni ramen. Surprisingly the broth was very good. Although the food Court was rather empty, staff was friendly and quick to have everything prepared. For me personally, I wish the ramen was hotter temperature-wise, but I understand safety standards. We also ordered the pork buns and gyoza which were pretty good with our meal.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite spot to get ramen at. I've been coming here ever since I started coming back to the Westroads around 3 years ago. Although COVID-19 has slowed down how many times I come here since it tends to be busy in here, I still enjoy coming to this place whenever I can. Their Tonkotsu Ramen as well as the Tori Paitan Ramen is very good, but the Tonkotsu is my definite favorite. The Nikuman pork buns make for a great accompaniment with the ramen as well as the occasional gyoza. I get full pretty fast here so I usually end up taking my sides to go. Everything here is great. It's very rare that I have any problems here. Just that the line is long sometimes but that's because the food is good so I can definitely understand. Highly recommended.

Yelp
It was just ok. I got the Tori Paitan Ramen with no fishcake. First of all it was luke warm, not really what you want on a blustery day. I found the broth bland, needed seasoning even if it was just salt. The chicken chashu was very dry even sitting in the broth. I did love the ajitama egg, so very good! The people were friendly and I got my order fairly quickly. I'm honestly not sure if I would be back. Its kind of pricey for just ok.

Yelp
food here has always been incredible, spicy oni from here stands alone in my mind at the top of my ramen experiences, what is up with changing the noodles? i know they're made in house, why can't we have selection, it's an entirely different dish without udon. broth is still incredible but i wish we had options
