When I need a quick lunch at work and grab something off Uber Eats, I don't expect something as good at Yoshi-Ya. *Especially* when it's something like ramen, which can often show up with squishy noodles and mushy vegetables, all mixed up in a starchy broth.
Not so with Yoshi-Ya. The noodles / accoutrements are packaged separately from the rich, piping hot broth, to be added by you, right before eating. Especially in the age of covid, I appreciate smart packaging to allow for a restaurant-like experience at home.
Their gyoza are excellent, with a bite of green onion accompanying the pork. Today I downed them all even before I made it to my tonkatsu ramen. The broth is rich packed with flavor and salt and the noodles are consistently perfectly done.
Shockingly, they are located in a mall food court--not that I would know, since I've only had delivery. Someday I'll actually go into the mall to visit. For now, when I have a ramen craving in Omaha, they're my first call for quick delivery.
