Yoshi's Sushi

Yoshi’s Sushi in West Hollywood, CA Had a Spicy Tuna roll and a Spicy Salmon roll. Both tasted fresh and had just the right amount of spice. Had a Cobra roll which was tasty. Complimented the sushi rolls with 2 hot dishes - an Eel roll and Green Mussels. Truly enjoyed the mix of cold & hot dishes. Refreshing iced Green Tea for a June evening. Only complaint would be the place is a little dark & not good for food photos, and the atmosphere could get a little more festive.

Yoshi's is a place I've been coming with family for several years, and I've always been pleased with my meal and the service! It's not a big place so you will generally feel like you are getting family service when you're there. The owners are almost always working and doing everything from being the sushi chef to the host to the waitress! Besides having good quality traditional sushi, I think that the Yuki Roll is a great creation with very unique flavors and presentation. I really like mint leaf. The grilled sea bass is also great! I believe it's marinated in miso and it's always tender and delicious!

Excellent sushi with great presentation. We were very happy with the service and friendliness as well. Portions were very good and you can't beat the "check-in on Yelp deal" where you can pay cash and get 20% off. Our #1 go-to for sushi is always Kushiyu in Woodland Hills but it's a real pain-in-the-ass to go to often since we're close to Westwood. So happy to find a great alternative that's less than 10 minutes away from us now. Can't wait to go back to this place!Yoshi's Sushi is best.

This is a mom and pop business run by Yoshi and his wife. You will see Yoshi making your sushi here 7 days a week. The fish he offers is just a fresh if not fresher than Sugarfish. This is for sushi lovers who like minimal sauce and fresh fish. He makes his spicy rolls with an oil instead of a spicy mayo sauce which is much healthier. I always order the spicy salmon hand roll, blue crab roll and the sushi bomb. Similar to most good sushi restaurants the best place to eat your meal is at the sushi bar! You can find me here at least once a week.

Landed from UK and Googled sushi west Hollywood. This place had limited reviews but all to the same standard of Nobu, it's simple, no frills interior but the quality of the sushi is outstanding!!! Come and eat here, great portions for brilliant price. I'm hard to please when it comes to Toro and Hamachi but this place rocks! Affordable, prompt service and smiley wonderful staff! YOU MUST EAT HERE!!! :)

Simply the finest quality of fish I've ever found in LA. Yoshi is knowledgable and eager to please. I always try to get the Pampano and Live Sweet Shrimp. When I want a fancy role, I go some place convenient, but when I want the highest-quality nigiri, I always try to go to Yoshi's.

I've been coming here since the week it opened almost 10 years ago. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you try the albacore sushi and the jewelry mine roll. One of my favorite places to eat.
