"Peter Fridén, who also heads up the kitchen at PURS in Andernach, calls his concept "Asian Comfort Food". Serving up sushi and sashimi, as well as dishes such as shoyu ramen, bao chasu and chicken yakitori, he is dedicated to showcasing Far Eastern flavours. Perfectly suited for sharing, these dishes can also be ordered online to take away. The dining space has a chic urban feel, featuring sleek modern design with a Far Eastern touch. The restaurant is located in the historical centre of Andernach right by the boutique hotel Am Ochsentor. Italian trattoria Ai Pero is next door." - Michelin Inspector

The Experience at the newly opened Yoso was outstanding. The new Chef Peter created a menu which was nothing short of spectacular. The flavours were precise and amazing. The winepairing was also extraordinary and unusual, yet absolutely amazing. We had a wonderfull evening.

Brilliant, world-class chef Peter Fridén has created a masterpiece of a menu combining and fusing two vastly different culinary worlds into one. The unlikely pairing of Japanese and Scandinavian flavors is nothing short of amazing, exceeding all expectations for dining in this sleepy, off the beaten path, German town. Highest accolades and recommendations! A once in a lifetime opportunity to shower your taste buds with the most unique flavour combination. (At least one) star is imminent!

Coming from Belgium, the far Leuven :-), this is one the absolute fine dining discoveries from last years ... seldom we are so much surprised by the food experience than here. We have been to different Michelin * or ** resto's which were certainly lower quality than this one. Really every dish was a huge taste explosion and with every dish it was even getting better (which is not often the case). All dishes were full with creativity, well choosen textures and colours, perfectly dressed up ... really everything was absolutely top. Only for this restaurant we'll come back to the region. We think it is a mather of time when the chef will get his well deserved star(s).

Excellent Food in a nice, modern setting. We visited the Restaurant for the first time and it was a great culinary experience of the far east. After choosing the five course set menu it ended up with totally nine courses if we include all the greetings from the kitchen which arrived to the table. Each and every dish of the set menu was very well presented. YOSO Kitchen is significantly playing with the aromas and was surprising us with a nice feeling in our mouth when eating: sweet and salty combined with soft and crunchy food left us smiling to each other.... This stylish restaurant is well worth a visit and with a total bill of less than EUR 200, 00 for 5 course set menu and {non-alcoholic} drinks for two persons absolutely fairly priced.

We were fortunate to visit YOSO in Andernach yesterday. Chef Sarah Henke has received a Michelin star rating for her Asian inspired cuisine, so we were eager to explore. We chose a five course dinner menu each, paired with a selection of local wines. Full disclosure: we have lived in Asia and I grew up there and we love the depth and richness of flavours the local cuisine has to offer. This here, however, is not your down to earth Asian cooking style, this here is art. Each dish started by playing with our memories, taking us back to flavours we experienced in the past, pleasing our tastebuds, traveling in our minds. Then, however, comes this one, overlooked and unexpected ingredient, which joins all previous tastes into one symphony of flavour. That is what makes this gem of a restaurant unique and worth every travel. The wine pairing was impressive and well chosen. All five wines emphasized the depth of the flavours without a hint of diversion from the perfect route to culinary heaven. We loved it and will certainly be there again.

Very very nice experience. Fresh tastes and a very good etiquette. Loved the design of the interior with special attention to the cuttery. Will visit again! Definitely worth the michelin star!
