This was an exceptional omakase experience that ticked all the boxes for me, from the delicious an substantial courses, a welcoming and jolly chef and a talented part-timer ^o^
Chef Uemura is clearly passionate about his craft, as he took pains to explain the ingredients and answer our many questions despite the language barrier (shoutout to Friday Girl for her EN-JP translations and unfailing patience)!
Each course was also masterfully curated and executed. For example, the eggplant and sea urchin dish (fresh uni from Hokkaido atop a grilled peeled eggplant, drizzled with homeblended soya sauce) was a delight to eat.
I would definitely come back again!
