Looking for a late snack and first time trying out this new place. So far the food was nice, the atmosphere was friendly and for sure they are not cheap when the AC… they have it blasting! The waitress was nice and friendly and gives good suggestions. We would come back to try other flavors. It’s my first sauerkraut fish soup!

Amazing spot in 8th avenue with authentic & flavorful Szechuan cuisine / noodle soups fused with different Chinese flavors. At first glance I thought it looked really bright & I wanted a chill & quick dinner with warm lighting after a day of work, if u know what I mean. But I got over it— service was really friendly & reminiscent of Asian dining culture. They gave us free dishes: appetizer: cucumber salad (bit sweet) & dessert: herbal tea jelly (so good). I was craving a sauerkraut / fish & noodle soup dish with mala flavors.. there are plenty of spots in Brooklyn but this.. wow ! Everything we ordered was amazing. We ordered the mao Cai fish & the combo A set (drink+dish+app) - golden spicy fish. I drank the whole mao Cai fish soup & left nothing. It came with rice (for each dish). There was a lot of food in the plate/bowl which was great. Everything was so flavorful and yummy. The drink we ordered was Wintermelon ginger tea (10/10) and basil popcorn chicken (10/10). The batter they used for the popcorn chicken was light & ratio of flour to chicken was really good (less flour!!)

Absolutely fantastic! I was very sceptical walking in but so glad I did. The service was very good and the food itself was phenomenal. The free cucumber salad is such a savior. The spiciest beef noodle soup was more flavorful than spicy. It had will rounded flavors and something as simple as rice is also the star of the show. Will absolutely go back again.

Great value for the family! We came to here on a Saturday around 1pm with my hubby and kids, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! The staff were friendly and helpful—most spoke Mandarin, but they made sure to find someone who could communicate with me in English/Cantonese. The place felt cozy, casual, and clean (including the bathroom was spotless—and requires a code). If you enjoy pickled or slightly sour flavors in your food, this place is definitely for you! Their broths and sauces have that appetizing tang that really wakes up your taste buds. Highly recommend their combo meals! For around $21–$24 per person, you get a drink (non-specialty options like mango passion fruit tea or hot tea), an appetizer, and your main fish dish. Such great value these days! Here’s what we tried: * French fries – Surprisingly great, crispy like McDonald’s! * Crispy pork – A bit on the chewy side; I think I’ll try the popcorn chicken next time. * Mango passion fruit tea– Too sweet for me, but hubby really enjoyed it. * Hot tea – Loved their paper cup design that keeps all the tea leaves at the bottom—very clever! * Chili oil fish soup– Nicely balanced! Not too spicy, but with a gradual, warming heat that builds in a pleasant way. * Scallion sauerkraut fish – The basa fish was fresh and tender, and the broth with napa cabbage and bok choy hit the spot—perfect for a chilly day. *fried brown sugar mochi - light fried on the outside and soft on the inside with the warm brown sugar ooze inside. * Herbal jelly dessert– A complimentary surprise at the end—such a refreshing way to finish the meal! With inflation these days, it’s hard to find a meal that’s both tasty and affordable, but this place delivers. Great find for families! too? IG: Jubes111. Youtube: JujubiFam

This place is really nice and a good spot to eat both lunch and dinner, alone or with a group. The variety is quite big and with mutiple different soup base, fish pieces, whole fish and more. Service is amazing with both professionalism and fun. Atmosphere is really nice with the layout being nice and simple. Overall great place to eat and should try.

The server is super nice and the fish is great. Definitely not too oily and the potato noodles are my fave. We got pickled cabbage and golden sauerkraut fish. I was actually the most pleasantly surprised by the popcorn chicken! It’s so crispy! The service is fast and the price is good. Def enough for two meals

It’s a very modern environment with fresh delicious food, good portion sizes, and kind staff. My wife and I shared a two person portion of the classic Sauerkraut fish with green peppercorns. It comes with an appetizer, a drink, and the waiter even threw in a free dessert at the end. Also worth mentioning is the fluffy Wuchang rice served on the side. I love the Sauerkraut fish so much that I haven’t had a chance to try any other menu items, but I am interested in trying them all.
