Phoenix Palace Opens in Chinatown From Potluck Club | Eater NY
"Described as a Hong Kong craft beer maker, Young Master appears on Phoenix Palace’s drink list with a beer brewed using green Sichuan peppercorns, highlighted as part of the restaurant’s emphasis on natural beers that complement Chinese cuisine." - Emma Orlow
"Hong Kong’s top craft brewery, Young Master Ales, recently expanded into a larger space in Wong Chuk Hang—an industrial district on the south side of Hong Kong Island that’s now connected to Central via MTR. Once you enter the eclectic space, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Brooklyn—picture two bars with about eight taps, knotty wood counters, communal picnic tables, and some retro-chic couches. Just beyond, you can see the steel vats where the magic happens. If you’re a beer enthusiast or you simply love to experience homegrown brands when you travel, visiting the brewery will be a memorable Saturday afternoon. Plus, you’ll get to see a more industrial side of Hong Kong—often overlooked by those who stick to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui districts." - Kate Springer

"One of the city’s most popular craft breweries that incorporates local ingredients into its beers and runs semi-regular Saturday tours, appealing to both casual drinkers and craft-beer enthusiasts." - Anna Cummins and Alexandra Karplus

Dropped by here on a Friday afternoon. One of the reviewers is right that you cannot order a pint of beer here and sit down like you could in a pub. But you can try many of the beers that they have and you can also buy bottles and growlers here.
The beer is very good and the staff is friendly.

🙌all hail young master🙌
for visitation, caveat that the brewery doesn't have a liquor license so they can't sell you beer to consume on-site.
that said they do have a healthy draft list they're willing to part with as tasters, and a full fridge of all the hits.
well worth a visit overall. support young master and everybody wins.

2024 June 8 your "1842 Imperial IPA" won our private tasting sesh in Kammerstein near Nuremberg, Germany. Usually abstaining from high ABV brews, this master piece of yours at a lucky 8% and marvellous 80 IBU truly does taste exceptional. The absolute contrast yet another master piece is your "Cha Chaan Teng Sour" at 4% ABV and only 10 IBU salted lime goose. It's a life saver on hot summer days. Thanks and keep it up. PS: wish we would have had the chance to sip one of your "Yat Cheen 2024" limited edition. Amazing ideas!

What a wonderful brewery. Note this is not a location where you can buy and drink pints, you can taste their beers, buy bottles and Crowlers. Beer is very well crafted and the Taproom woman’s was super knowledgeable about the beer and allowed to taste until we found the ones we wanted to take home. They close at 6:00 so make sure to arrive before this. The brewery sits right in front of you and yours are available.
