Got a latte here. They have premium beans, so the coffee is as great. Located in the heart of Fargo downtown, they are easy to find, and have very friendly service, premium beans, and a cozy upbeat sitting area. Highly recommend their coffee. It was a bit overpriced but I didn’t regret it.

It was my first time coming in to Youngblood Coffee, I walked in, super quick service and very friendly staff! I got a donut and a vanilla latte (hot). I spoke with a sweet gorgeous blonde! I ended up spilling my coffee all over the door and floor... (It was embarrassing let me tell you!) She came up to me and cleaned it up and offered me a new one. I was not expecting to get a new one, as it was my own fault but she insisted. LOVE HER! I got to sit and drink my brand new coffee and eat my donut. (I let it sit in the sun a bit and it warmed up and was the perfect first bite temperature). Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend coming here!

The atmosphere is Beautiful and Peaceful! It's definitely a lovely place to start off your morning! They even have dairy free butter for the bread! That was a HUGE plus!

Google
Top notch coffee probably my favorite coffee shop in Fargo. I haven’t had a bad one yet after being here multiple times. Less than a block from the Broadway Square, or in the summertime. The Saturday market goes right out front. So it’s always super close to grab a coffee.

Amazing coffee. Like a dream. I did the pistachio latte awhile back and it kicks the hell out of the mermaid brand. Great staff great chill morning atmosphere.

Google
Awesome vibes and outstanding coffee. Had two hours to kill in Fargo on a work trip. Stopped by and found ourselves in coffee heaven. Great variety of drinks. The salted pistachio latte was delicious and my coworkers brown sugar iced latte got rave reviews. Kept us awake until we made it to Chicago. Great service and ambience. Good place for wfh or a noncommittal first date.

Google
Excellent, 2-shot latte and fig, goat cheese, walnut toast. Good vibe and great service

Google
This is the spot. Knowledgeable and friendly baristas. The vibes are immaculate. The Angeleno was a little too sweet for me, but I tried their drip coffee the next day, and that was good. So glad I stopped here

Derek T.

Yelp
Amazing coffee, friendly environment. I was in town for work and tried this spot. I will be returning for cappuccinos every time I'm back in town.

Yelp
Starting off this Saturday morning with an hour here at Youngbood and an ice coffee while figuring out how I'm going to explore Fargo. I got here early so there was plenty of street parking though the locals are closing off this particular street for a farmer's market. Coffee was delicious and the music was excellent (not loud!) and I had a pleasant first experience with Fargo. [Review 20759 overall - 118 in North Dakota - 1741 of 2023.]

Yelp
They have amazing coffee. I'm particular about my coffee beans and found a premium blend in this cozy nook located in the heart of Fargo. It was a tad overpriced but was worth it. The staff was very helpful and friendly!

Olivia K.

Yelp
When walking around the neighborhood, I knew I wanted coffee. But this was my first time in Fargo and had no idea which coffee shop was good. So I just randomly picked the one that had the most people sitting around. It seemed like a popular spot, so I decided to try it out. When I walked in, there was a really cool/hip vibe. There was ample seating with lots of young people sitting & chatting, some were on their computers. When I looked at the menu, I was immediately drawn to their Brown Sugar Latte. This was something that looked pretty unique to this spot. So, I ordered right away. When I got my iced coffee and took my first sip, I loved it. The Brown Sugar Latte had the perfect amount of sugar/milk/coffee combo (in my opinion). I tend to like my coffees with milk and sugar, so this really hit the spot for me. There was no need to add anything extra - it was great the way it was. You can really taste the brown sugar flavor, which was an extra thumbs up. It was perfectly iced for my walk out into the heat. The cashier was also really friendly. Nothing but great things to say about my first visit.

Jayci G.

Yelp
Iced brown sugar latte - decaf. Was ready quickly and was delicious. Very sweet, which is implied from the brown sugar part, but still. Staff was kind - asked me how my day was going. Lots of people sitting in the cafe talking or on computers, so ambiance was friendly and social.

Christopher B.

Yelp
Cool vibe, great coffee, nice experience. I had the Kenya drip coffee which was right on... my wife loved her latte. The atmosphere consisted of one of the baristas DJ's to vinyl and people either conversing or working. It had more energy than most coffee shops where the music is muted and not the main attraction. The staff was really helpful especially when I was trying to pick out a bag of beans as a gift.

Stefanie C.

Yelp
I'm honestly always skeptical of coffeeshops that have a solid 5 star rating on Yelp. Like, how good can this possibly be? The answer is, SO good! Stopped by Youngblood on my way to the airport for an iced Brown Sugar Latte, as recomended by others. I was jazzed out on caffeine and blown away by the amount of flavor packed into my cup. Service was great. The interior is super cute. Would love to spend a few hours working from here someday. All in all, the solid 5 star rating is well-deserved!

Erik P.

Yelp
This is your downtown hipster coffee bar while you're in Fargo: trendy music, intagramable decor, and pretty good coffee. Was a pretty nice place to kill an hour or two, and plenty of other patrons were using the space to get some work done. Service is standard order-at-the-counter-and-pick-up-when-they-call-your-name.

Angela B.

Yelp
The fact I have now been here three times in my week stay speaks for itself. :) it is downtown Fargo which I love sitting and watching things around me. They don't have a big menu, but I did have a Sandy's doughnut, but I also don't think they need one. The staff are the nicest people ever. Every time I was there they asked I am doing and if I have any plans. I tried the salted pistachio latte which was so smooth and good! Non-coffee golden milk latte, I like but it does have a little zing to it it, and chai tea..amazing! I will go there again.

Maria R.

Yelp
Hands down the besttttt matcha in town. So happy there were some milk alternatives. Cute little shop with genuine faces behind the bar and wonderfully curated drinks!

Neeh B.

Yelp
Best coffee in town, hands down. Love their Oatmilk brown sugar or vanilla lattes! I always judge a coffee shop by their iced lattes as most places' iced lattes tastes watered down but Young Blood just does it right. Every single time. Love the vibe and the people working this place, too!

Brittany S.

Yelp
We kicked our day off here with some carryout coffee before hitting the road for Montana. First off, I want to give them kudos for their safety precautions during COVID19. I imagine it's not easy especially in a smaller town to hold firm on these values and practices. Young Blood Coffee is both hip and delicious. We followed the Yelp review recommendations and ordered brown sugar lattes (mine with oat milk). It was smooth and packed with subtle flavor to the last drop. They also had an impressive lineup of teas, nitro cold brew and sweet and savory toasts. For the time being, they've removed all indoor seating and placed tables and chairs on the front sidewalk. A delightful start to the day!

Dana W.

Yelp
While exploring Fargo we stopped at Young Blood Coffee Roasters. It is a cute, hipster coffee shop in downtown that plays eclectic music and has basic industrial decor. The staff was very friendly and offered up numerous suggestions of places for us to explore while in Fargo. They are also taking COVID-19 very seriously, socially distancing, wearing masks, and removing tables. Oh yeah, and the drinks are tasty too!

mary c.

Yelp
Great spot with great coffee! fun personable staff with fun decor. Perfect for a Sunday morning and right Downtown, so easy access to all the hotels

Mary R.

Yelp
Really cool coffee shop. Our experience was limited due to covid, but we were very pleased by the signage and follow through that the establishment was taking the virus seriously. The coffee was great. I had a vanilla latte and really liked the roast. If you want overly sweet, this isn't for you. I enjoyed the flavors. The inside was really cool with a great record selection for music. And the staff was super friendly.

Natalie P.

Yelp
Brown sugar latte was perfect for a chilly morning. The inside was beautiful and prices were aligned with every other coffee shop I've visited. Seating was a bit tight but there was plenty of it.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Really friendly service, excellent coffee, and a cool spot to chill. Try the Nitro Oat Latte, it's amazing! I've never had anything like it.

James R.

Yelp
Often time in places like New York City you find very cool coffee shops, but Young Blood can easily go against any of them. Young Blood was sparkling clean. They had their town roaster in the store along with bags off coffee beans. I order the flat white - it did have a slight bitter taste to it but overall I think this coffee shop stands out.

Arianna V.

Yelp
Incredible cold brew ! I'm so glad that I stopped by Young Blood before leaving Fargo, I just wish I had been able to enjoy it more! I stayed a night there and on my way out of town before an 11 hour drive I grabbed a cold brew from Young Blood and another coffee shop in the area (which shall not be named ) but I loved my black cold brew from Young Blood so much! The staff was also very kind! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely be stopping by.

Yelp
California Dreaming on a North Dakota day. Woke up this morning to hotel coffee. Quickly decided against it and began my search. The Yelposphere once more pulled through. The promise of a "traditional" macchiato had me excited and skeptical. We decided that the worst thing that could happen would be drinking hotel coffee, which is actually worse than no coffee... off we went. It was easy to spot, even without large storefront signage. A couple of bistro chairs dot the sidewalk. The real giveaway was the herd of zombies going in and the smiling faces coming out. We circled and parked about a block away, our usual plan of attack. When strolling up the sidewalk, the aroma met us before the visual. We followed our noses. There was a line of over half a dozen people. It moved quickly. People knew what they wanted, ordered, paid and stepped aside. Our turn came quickly. The hubs ordered a honey miel and I a macchiato. The gal paused, looked up and went right into action explaining that they do a traditional macchiato (tiny cup) and not what we might be used to. She held her breath. I said "that's why we're here" - she smiled, nodded and said "good, good" & that was that. Then we added avocados toast, because... avocados. We paid, gave our name and stepped aside. The had quite the system in place and it ran like a well oiled machine. Both drinks were on point. We appreciated the same flavor from start to finish (no syrupy residue to finish). The bread really is delish - crispy outside and soft inside. I honestly would have skipped it with toast as the main breakfast item, had I been looking for food and coffee. That would have been a mistake. I'd lose the sofas for additional seating, as they had quite the crowd wanting seats. Then again, perhaps it deters loitering for hours on end... For the record, I've now given 2 coffee shops within minutes of each other 5 stars & I don't like to give 5 stars. Way to step up your coffee game Fargo. No more hotel coffee for me! Edit: would also like to see paper straws : /

Yelp
Unique and Delicious Mocha and Brown sugar Latte. We enjoyed these hot coffee. If only they are close to home, we'd go here more than Starbucks. - Sweetness is perfect - fast service - friendly staff

Joshua H.

Yelp
great staff, greeted me right away, Amazing hot chocolate. great music, comfy seating. Sandy's donuts is a plus

Franklin M.

Yelp
We are coffee snobs and always search for the best coffee while we are on road trips. Since we are still in the COVID-19 pandemic masks are required to enter the coffee shop. They have sidewalk tables and chairs available at this popular place. We ordered our mochas and my daughter ordered the avocado toast - we loved it all.

Kate H.

Yelp
Easily my favorite coffee shop in Fargo. It's hard for me not to go every day. The location is convenient, the atmosphere is great, and they always have some cool vinyl on the record player. And the staff are super sweet. Their cold brew is strong and my go-to, but lately I've been a fan of the almond milk lattes (the latte art's real cute). But the espresso is also good to sit and sip, and their tea selection is unmatched. But most importantly: the toast. Literally every one of them is great, though my favorite is the avocado. If you're less adventurous, have the cinnamon toast, it's impossible to dislike. But the strawberry jam & almond cream cheese one is incredible. Really, anything on their house-made sourdough bread is awesome. (Prairie Roots sometimes sells it, too.) Oh and... they use Earth Balance & Kite Hill cream cheese, so except for the honey, all the toasts are vegan ;)

Tim G.

Yelp
Such a great cup of coffee, and very friendly staff with knowledge of the area. Then I sat down and had such a nice conversation with a local and they told me about their favorite places in Fargo. Great place to come and read or meet and catch up with a friend.

Elysia G.

Yelp
Get the avocado toast. I know I know. Sounds like a stereotypical hipster order, but im telling you it's worth it. They make their bread in house and the slices you get are THICK. So if you want fantastic, buttery, well seasoned avocado toast, get it. Also, the brown sugar latte is so so good. Careful when you're driving by because it's easy to miss. None of the signs really stand out since it's tucked in between other shops.

Jenn L.

Yelp
Amazing vibe, amazing matcha latte. I'm a huge coffee & matcha lover and this place hit the spot! It's a must visit if you're downtown!

Aaron S.

Yelp
Definitely the best coffee I've had in Fargo. I was happy to find this place for a pour over when visiting home. They also have a neat cold brew in a can that is worth a try.

Mike Z.

Yelp
Fargo, you did a good one with how you planned out your coffee shop. Beans roasted directly in the shop, vinyl collection on display, floor to ceiling windows and a toast menu that is worth trying each different type. Let's go back to the toast menu. Their bread is made in house. It has to be sourdough based because it's spongy, chewy, light and delicious. Had the strawberry/cream cheese one that had a spread of butter under with the char of the toast, I was in heaven with it all. This was a nice setup for a coffee shop and the coffee was good too. The signage isn't too obvious from the front but it's in the middle of the block along the building. Looks like they just expanded also. I'm gonna be dreaming about that sourdough bread. I'm a fan. Good job, guys.

Andy C.

Yelp
Great iced coffee and customer service was terrific! Very friendly, genuinely nice peeps. They recc I check out Island Park-- so glad I did!

Brittney S.

Yelp
The ambience is amazing. SUPER friendly customer service. The toast was much more filling than I thought it would be: I got the almond butter and honey. They included a cute design on it. It was very thick and worth it!!! I will definitely coming back to try all the other toast menu items available (I'm not much of a coffee drinker). The only downside is, of course, the parking... Also, I don't believe there is a bathroom available inside the shop.

Alma C.

Yelp
Good coffee. I had an americano and my friend had a latte. We talked to the 2 baristas about theyre previous work experience at like a dunkin doughnuts and a starbucks and how that is completely different than working at an actual coffee shop. the owner i believe is from seattle? or portland. somewhere over there. And the wife has ties to fargo. So youngblood in downtown fargo it is. Good spot for insta pictures.

Tess H.

Yelp
One of the better Downtown coffee places in Fargo. Prices are a little higher than some other places in the area, but the quality makes up for it. PROS: - service is quick - aesthetic scenery / plants - quality coffee - complimentary self-serve water CONS: - more on the expensive side

Cindy P.

Yelp
Coffee shop is located in the downtown area. There are a few tables and chairs outside. It was a little hard to find because the big sign (in one of the pics) is gone. There are a couple of large tables that could seat several people. I ordered a miel lattee which is cinnamon and honey lattee. It's quite tasty. Nice flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. There is a counter next to the window. I perched myself there with my knitting and sat for a little while. Relaxing morning. Staff was friendly. They played the Cars music on my visit. This was fun and I really enjoyed it!

Beth G.

Yelp
Oh my gosh. Where do I start?? Is it absolutely ridiculous for me to say that they have the best toast I have EVER eaten? Actually, no. It's not ridiculous. It's THAT good. My absolute favorite is the almond butter with honey followed by the almond butter and strawberry jam. Both of these are finished off with a small sprinkle of coarse salt. I have enjoyed the brown sugar latte, the miele and the angelino is the one I get the most. Incredible place and great service. Highly recommended.

John M.

Yelp
Excellent drinks. Comfortable, subdued seating area. Very nice owners. I like the record player playing some vinyl. Nice touch. Update - they moved two blocks north to 623 2nd Ave. This location is just as great & better.

Adnan H.

Yelp
I came to Fargo from San Diego for business. I have never been here before and saw the great reviews for this coffee shop and decided to give it a try. I am a huge fan of avocado toast, as it is very popular in San Diego. This avocado toast and almond butter with honey toast were the best I ever had in my life, hands down! The piece of toast is massive, as you can probably see. The bread is absolutely delicious. I also had a pour over coffee that was great. The atmosphere of the shop is also very nice. Everyone was super nice and it just felt wonderful to be there. Thank you guys so much for your great service! I will be back next time I'm in town!!

Sam D.

Yelp
I am so glad Yelp led us to Young Blood Coffee. It was truly a hidden gem. Let's start with the decor- Kudos to the person who designed this place. It was actually the coolest and best coffee shop we've ever been into. It was so cool that we took photos of the tables so we can try to make them at home. We ordered the Miel honey to go. As we were waiting for it to be ready, we watched toast after toast order come out. We decided we couldn't walk away from this amazing looking toast. So, we did what you'd expect... We ordered a piece of toast. We had the cream cheese, chive, and tomato toast. It was AMAZING! Do not leave Young Blood without trying one of their 6 (maybe) types of toast. They are not stingy with the slice either. It's a solid, thick slice of toast. They bake their own bread. You literally see it in the oven. I actually wanted to buy a loaf to bring on the road with us, but they don't sell it like that. And to be fair, their logo is pretty legit too. Young Blood--I wish you were closer to home.

Autumn B.

Yelp
I buy coffee here because it's roasted in-house and I'm a snob...but it's criminally expensive. After a cup of their coffee (they only have lighter roasts, so very strong coffee) the spike in my cortisol makes me upset about inflation all over again. God knows what the baristas are making an hour, maybe enough to buy one of their $10 chocolate bars and have some change left over! Also the decor is awful. Cold furniture and selfie art. Ugh. The Seattle-themed coffee shop in town is much more cozy. However, the coffee here is really good but now I'm kind of inspired to quit caffeine all together because if I have to pay $22 for 12oz of the good coffee then I'm just not going to bother lol. I already feel amazing off the stuff, I highly recommend giving up altogether.

Heather H.

Yelp
It's not fair there isn't more locations because I would be here almost everyday! I had been recommended by a friend to check this place out and i'm completely satisfied I did. I only had the chance to try an espresso macchiato which was truly incredible. Also loved the vibe of the place and the people. I travel often so anytime i'm in town, young blood coffee shop will be near the top of my must to do list!!

DarkBeauty720 S.

Yelp
Love this place, so fresh and hip and friendly, good vibes good drinks ( the green one not a fan) but I enjoy everything else

Sophie O.

Yelp
Favorite coffee place in ND. In the Midwest. Coffee is amazing, vibe is fresh, and the baristas know what there doing. They also do sourdough toast, and sometimes you can even buy a loaf and take it home and be happy for like 3 days if you can go that long without eating it. They put lots of butter on it, at least the cinnamon one that we get. Check it out if you are from out of state and are missing quality food.

Ari S.

Yelp
I wasn't able to get to young blood during the pandemic, and was eager to stop in again after I got vaccinated. I was so disappointed - they don't do toast anymore. I was still able to get my brown sugar latte and it just wasn't that good. The barista was very nice and helpful. But overall this is not the same place I remember.

Chris C.

Yelp
SUPER awesome spot in Fargo. About a 7-8 min walk from my hotel I came in for coffee. Saw them cutting bread. Could not pass up on the almond butter and strawberry toast. Taste was awesome. Bread is baked in house like literally right in front of you. Slices are thick. Coffee--vanilla latte. Perfect. On point. Delicious.

Kerry H.

Yelp
Quick trip into Young Blood, but it was a great experience. The vibe was clean and inviting, a unique little place to work for a bit or meet with a friend. You could tell someone was intentional to create a beautiful & minimal space. I had the cold brew and it was delicious, staff was friendly and the location super convenient. If you find yourself downtown and looking for a good coffee or chill space, this is it!

Darin K.

Yelp
Excellent coffee. No sugar or creamer needed. Actual well balanced full flavored stuff. Well done!

Helen J.

Yelp
We went here yesterday and we have brought up Young Blood countless times in conversations since. It is hands down the best local coffee shop I have visited on my travels. We were visiting for the weekend and were planning on going to another shop that had great reviews but THANK GOD they were closed on Sunday so we went here. It was the best decision we have made. The coffee was great and the people working there were very kind and hospitable but the winner is the TOAST. If you are in Fargo or close to it drop everything and head to Young Blood al that you can get a piece. We each had the almond butter and strawberry toast and absolutely loved it. I am going on record now and saying that it is the best thing I have ever had this year. I will be back, I don't know when but I need more of their toast in my life. Let me go look up how to make sourdough toast at home now....

Thomas F.

Yelp
Best coffee in town and never know which record will be playing when you visit. Recommend the cold oat milk latte

Michael M.

Yelp
All your highest-tier coffee snobbery needs will be met here. With aplomb. The bar in Fargo has been raised.
