This is the greatest place for donuts, coffee and I assume ice cream! My daughter had a peanut and tree nut allergy. Yo-Yo donuts are peanut free! She now graduated from her peanut allergy but we will always get our donuts from Yo-Yo!! The service is incredible and their items are top quality every single time! Order ahead or walk in! They do go fast!

The best donut shop hands down!!! This place has a vast selection of donuts and many other things! Everything is made fresh and to perfection! I found out about them when they donated donuts to the surgery volunteer days for mn eye foundation! Amazing business I will always happily support and you should too!

Yoyo Donuts is a gourmet donut shop. The address is Minnetonka but it's just South of Hopkins a bit. It is just North of 62 on Shady Oak Rd and worth every second you are off course, lol! I just moved back to MN from Houston last Summer and have settled in Hopkins. I heard about this place from a friend who orders donuts from here for work meetings. I decided to treat myself on my birthday and it didn't let me down. The donuts are over the top- you can even add bacon to them! I honestly don't remember the fancy names of the 4 I got but do check out the picture. The prices are very reasonable for the donuts and they also have a full service coffee bar with everything from cold press to lattes. It's in a strip mall so parking is pretty easy. I am glad I don't live closer or I would be there daily!

Order was perfect and ready on time, staff was amazing, and donuts were delicious! Love that the facility is nut free and they created something so special for our daughter’s bday! We told them three things she loved (glitter, vans checkered patterns, and daisies) and their creative decorating of icing was superb ! I recommend YoYo to everyone :)

YUM! A perfect place to grab some special treats for any occasion! We enjoyed all the donuts we picked out. It was only difficult to choose because there were so many good options!

I picked out a dozen donuts 🍩 to go, with one needing to be packaged separately for a family friend, which they gladly did for me. Also, there was an amazing amount of choices that were all Tree nut free and safe from our family. Well worth my hour drive down there to get them on occasion, just to see my daughter and her dad’s eyes light up upon opening the box of tasty treats. You may noticed there are a few less than 12 in the box at this point since they are so very tasty😊.

Yo Yo Donuts is my family's favorite local donut shop. They always have a great variety & delicious flavors to satisfy each person's preferences. There is always a line out the door, but the workers move quickly & are friendly. The decor inside is fun & there is seating in the foyer for people who may need/want to sit. Today, they had a special blueberry cheesecake donut & it was so yummy!

Honestly a great price for a high quality donut! Even on weekend, they're constantly bringing new flavors to the display case. I often buy a variety pack for special treats at work and everyone loves them! The maple bacon long John is an office favorite. The service is quick and friendly even when there's a long line out the door. I haven't had a chance to try the ice cream or coffee drinks but it's on my list! Highly recommend as a place to stop by for a good donut - several places to sit inside, none outside that I've seen.

Donuts and coffee were good. A fantastic place for kids as they have a lot of kids books to keep them occupied. They also have places for photo ops (Instagram spots). It was a bit loud when we went there due to the amount of kids but that's expected in a family oriented place. Service was good and fast for how busy it was. There are a decent amount of parking spots as this is located in a strip mall. I would say the quality of the donuts and coffee could be improved a bit but overall a great place.

This is just the cutest shop of sugary treats! From special donuts to homemade ice cream, it's a real treat with friendly servers and adorable decorative touches for a feel good vibe! And yo-yo's are YUMMY!

I've been looking for a good donut place and found YoYo Donuts on yelp. It was a 15 minute drive but well worth it. From the friendliness of the staff to the variety of the great tasting donuts this is now going to be my regular donut shop!

Can't believe I've never reviewed this place. These are some of the best donuts in MN. They're great to work with and have coffee as well. Good for work or home. We always get my kids a custom birthday donut on their special day!

Fun spot for tasty treats! We got a half dozen and some coffee. You don't go for there for coffee but the donuts are great! Fair prices for higher end donuts and good combination of wacky seasonal flavors and classics. Staff was friendly and patient. We'd surely go back for more!

Love the donuts here. They've remodeled since i was last there and it has more of an ig worthy pink vibe now still same tasty donuts! I got the maple donut.

So cute, good donuts, but so busy on a Saturday morning. Luckily they've got a good system and despite the long line we didn't have to wait too long. Lots of families with kids so we took our donuts and coffee to go for a little quieter place to enjoy our treats.

I got these donuts on the same day. There isn't much to select from. And four of the donuts were slightly stale and dry and tossed away. The twisted donut and chocolate sprinkles were still good. But not worth going back for. What a shame. However the place is pretty to look at. The customer service is alright so two stars for that.

Great spot for donuts, no doubt about it! Place has such a fun atmosphere but get here early cause the line gets out the door fast! Lots of classic and creative donut options all extremely delicious. Good options for long johns and other fun donuts (like fruit loops and cookies n cream) too! Parking lot is shared with other businesses but plenty of spaces.

YoYo's donuts are amazing! The flavors are unique and delicious. My favorite is the maple old fashioned. I don't find myself in this part of town very often, but when I do, I make it a point to swing by!

I cannot say enough amazing things about YoYo Donuts! My husband and I discovered this hidden Minnetonka gem in our quest to find peanut and tree nut-free bakeries. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that their facilities are 100% safe for nut allergies. The donuts themselves are out of this world! There are so many incredible and unique flavors to choose from. A few of our favorites include the blueberry old fashion, the fruity pebbles cake donut, the cookies and cream, the red velvet, and the maple bacon long john. Because we love YoYo so much, we had them do a donut wall for our wedding. It was a HUGE hit and people are still talking about it to this day, nearly a year later. Easily one of the best and easiest decisions we made that day. They also newly renovated their dine-in space and it is SO cute! There are pink flowers and greenery everywhere, in addition to cute Instagram backdrops! Pro tip: get there early! Their donuts sell out quickly and there is almost always a line that wraps around the outside of the building. It moves quickly though and their donuts are well worth the wait!

Fun place for my daughter (7) and I to do on a date, esp around the holidays since they put up decoration everywhere. I loved that they have Hanukah donuts too (what is hard to come by)

Yoyo is an incredible donut shop! They also serve delicious beverages and ice cream. The service there is great, employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The decoration is so beautiful and I love hanging out there.

Come for the donuts, stay for the cute ambiance! My hubby and I enjoyed every calorie and we sat and hung out in the cute seating area. The donuts and coffee were great. Ended up ordering a chai tea and it was delish! Donuts were constantly refilled. The service was kind and quick!

Yummy donuts!! It's the place to be on a Saturday morning . The place is small but the line moves quickly.

Yum. Took my 5 year old on a breakfast date here and I will say the donuts - so so delicious! The space is cute and has a lot of indoor seating. They also offered a full array of espresso drinks and drip coffee and ice cream (which we didn't try this visit). We tried the glazed old fashioned, the chocolate sprinkle king John, raspberry glazed and the crème brûlée and they were all wonderful. The perfect texture of not too dry and the right ratio of frosting to bread. I also had a black coffee and I was surprisingly pleased. Most places don't do light roasts well and this was really nice, not bitter and not crazy strong which is how a light roast should taste. Giving 4 stars for the visit experience itself. The line was quite long which is fine and expected on a Saturday, but when we got to the front, it was apparent the line was caused by a bit of disorganization with how their setup is arranged. If there were a way earlier to show, even in a video screen or rearrange the line so options are visible before the moment you order, it would significantly speed up the process. The dining room was also quite dirty with not a table that had been wiped down and again, I know it's busy but there were plenty of folks standing around waiting for the people in like to decide that it would be well worth the few minutes it would take to wipe down the tables. These two things certainly didn't deter us from planning to head back for future visits but did steer us towards ordering ahead which appeared to be an option and taking them to go to eat in a cleaner environment!

Have been wanting to check this place out for a while! Stopped by on a Sunday morning and they were quite busy but the staff was super friendly and quick to help us out. The donut case was stocked full of so many different flavors and types of donuts to choose from! We ordered a variety of different treats to try and found the perfect spot next to their greenery wall on the most comfortable couch. We of course had to get some coffee to go with our donuts, I tried their cool mint cold brew -- 9/10 super refreshing! The staff continuously kept bringing out new donuts as we were there, so we may have made three trips to the donut case. ;) Of the flavors we tried, their raspberry filled was my favorite, closely followed by a zippy key lime filled bomb. Their donuts are super soft and the variety of flavors makes this place such a fun visit. They have ample parking in front of their strip mall location and plenty of comfortable seating. The decor in this place is SO cute! They offer a huge variety of donut themed gifts and trinkets near the front door too.

I ended up at YoYo by chance on a Saturday afternoon after driving halfway across the cities to pick something up. I randomly searched for a donut shop and off I was to Yoyo despite not knowing anything about it. When I arrived a found an insanely packed parking lot (shared by surrounding shops) and a line out the door. I honestly questioned if I should stay in line or just stop at Starbucks. I'm glad I stayed in line and others around me informed me that a line is normal for Saturday mornings but the donuts were worth it. Someone in line compared these to GlamDoll in Minneapolis but I don't know if I would fully agree with that comparison. I ordered a dozen donuts and I was not prepared for the price: $38. My card but be linked to my husbands but he got an email receipt and questioned my sanity before I drove away. Here's the ones I would recommend: Red velvet, apple fritter, raspberry, and probably the cream brulee. Here are the ones that I would pass on despite being super excited about: lemon (it was giving cleaner vibes.) Blueberry (thing was SOOO hard and dry). Chocolate chocolate (pretty plain and also dry). We ordered a couple of other options that I didn't try, but that's okay because everything was super sweet and I don't know if I could've gone for more. We shared with about 5 people and the feeling was the same- super sweet. Don't get me wrong, donuts are sweet and that's what I love about them, but you probably only need one- maybe two lol. Would I come back? If I was in the area, but I don't know if I would drive 25 minutes again for just the donuts. However; I would drive 25 minutes for the apple fritters without question. That was hands down the best option we picked.

Yeah.... I'm not a fan of sweets but it is very difficult, if not impossible, to say no to their donuts. Every donut, even the one with bacon topping, has been satisfying and good. I don't like sweets, but this place is pretty good.

Nut free donuts! That's nice. My latte was luke warm. I've been eating these donuts since this place opened, and they are just meh. We have a cousin with a nut allergy, and also for some reason people think these donuts are just great and I've decided it's the location. Also, people who don't actually eat donuts come here with their kids. I actually eat donuts. The line is not efficient, like other reviewers have said. It's a fixable problem, and could prevent the oh so busy non donut eaters from getting irritated. The seating area is fine. The people working here are nice. My latte was not hot.

Just a little donut shop located in a Minnetonka strip mall. But, don't let the size or location fool you as this place has some of the best donuts in the Twin Cities area (It placed 3rd in the 2023 Best of Minnesota voting)! Remember to shop early as the selection usually dwindles before they close at 2pm. Based on the many visits my family has made I heartily recommend YoYo Donuts.

Favorite donut place. They've done a lot to make the ambiance more trendy (with a flower/plant wall and area prefect for insta pics). Fortunately, their donut quality hasn't changed! So many amazing and unique flavors. My favorite is the key lime pie (although this sometimes sells out as they don't make a ton). Reasonably priced, but not cheap - comparable to other donut shops in the area but better quality I'd say. Be ready for a long line (often just out the door - but there's not a ton of space inside to unsurprising). It moves relatively quickly so don't let it deter you!

"No no donuts" Immediately after drinking an iced mocha from YoYo Donuts my fiancee came down with food poisoning. We will never have their coffee again after this experience. Ambiance is meant for instagramers. Teenage girl vibes. We prefer a cozier atmosphere. Tables were messy and not kept clean. I will say the donuts were outstanding though which is why I am giving them two stars.

YoYo has become a staple for our family. My favorite donuts they serve: -- Maple Bacon Long John -- Oreo donut -- White frosted Long John w/ sprinkles You're obviously paying more for these donuts than at Cub Foods (and Cub Foods Eden Prairie has insanely delicious donuts), but it's worth it as a special treat every once in a while. I feel the pricing is still reasonable at YoYo. They have enough seating inside for plenty of folks to eat-in. The staff has generally been friendly and provide speedy service (though at times the line can get long...a sign of their success as an establishment).

3 out of the 4 donuts were at least one day old! Very dry. When I go to a boutique shop I expect a higher price on the food but I also expect the food to be fresh at that price. I do not recommend.

Great donuts -very sweet and fun favors, like lemon and raspberry! They are quick with service and the place is super cute with fun decor! A lot of photo ops! The only thing they could do a better job of cleaning/up kept if the tables/trash. I think it's because they are so busy but overall it's a yes!!

Exceptional service and food! The Maple Bacon Long John is to die for! The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice visit. They engaged with my toddler and helped him pick out his favorite donut!

I had high expectations for this place but was not thrilled. I went on a summer Friday with my niece (1.5 year old) for our doughnut date (around 9am). There was a line but a lot of people were leaving it after seeing the doughnut selection. It was not awesome. Even the options for the little one was a little challenging since there were no basic kid doughnut. We ended up getting her a doughnut that was filled with cream and topped with sprinkles. She loved the mess but it was a lot for her. Most of the doughnuts left were flavors that were quite audience specific (lemon, ect...). The doughnuts itself were the quality of a gas station doughnut so I was not blown away. The seating area was really not well maintained and super dirty. The staff seemed focused on side projects instead (restocking drinks and merch). Can't say its a top doughnut shop.

Yo Yo has a ton of different flavored donuts. I think they are famous for their bacon maple bar(long Jon-if your from the Midwest), it has an entire strip of bacon on top. My favorite for the day was the red velvet with cream cheese frosting.

The store in Walker is so cute and had the best cookies & cream ice cream! Friendly service and an adorable seating area with flowers.

This is the best donut shop in the metro. It can get fairly busy and have a long line on the weekends but it moves quickly! Their maple bacon donut is superior! The cream bomb donuts are fabulous as well. Highly recommend for delicious, fresh donuts. They serve coffee here as well.

The best donuts I've ever had! The decor is absolutely magnificent, I tried some of the ice-cream too and my friend and I were actually talking about them for the rest of the week. 10/10

Best Crème Brûlée donut- the only downside is they are not available everyday. Staff is great!

Last week I was craving donuts - actually, I'm craving donuts 24/7 - but regardless, I wanted them bad but didn't want to drive far for them. These donuts were less than 10 mins from me and had amazing reviews so I knew I had to try them. I was impressed with the fact that despite it being 7:45am on a weekday, a line was already formed and there were 4 people ahead of me. The store has social distancing markers in the shape of donuts on the ground so you can safely pick your choices. Since it was my first time there I tried many of the ones recommended as well as a couple classics. Creme brulee, blueberry compote filled, chocolate custard filled long john, and cinnamon blueberry cake donut. Not sure what the actual names of them were, but they were all so delicious. The cinnamon blueberry one legit tasted like a blueberry muffin! I loved them all and best part was, they were fresh and local. I'm excited to go back and try more!

YoYo Donuts has some of my favorite doughnuts in the area! I especially like the old fashioned and chocolate old fashioned doughnuts, but my husband raves about the raised doughnuts too. We usually call an order in ahead of time and the staff is so helpful and accommodated for pick up, even during busy times. We've been so impressed with the customer service. The doughnuts are also super reasonably priced compared to some of the other doughnut shops in the metro.

Located in a strip mall, there were a couple people in line when I got there. However, by the time I left the line was out the door. A variety of donuts are showcased in the glass and they all looked delicious. They also sell coffee and ice cream! I tried out two of them but only remember the s'mores one because it was absolutely mouth watering. It seems simple and it is, but the mesh of everything perfect, along with the burnt marshmallow. My friend's niece got the zebra and had chocolate all over her face by the end of the donut, it was her way of saying 5 stars!

So glad find this donut ice cream place! Donuts are so fresh and fluffy! Ice cream is SO GOOD! I normally feel other ice cream shops are just too sweet and overly sugary, but ice cream here tastes creamy and flavorful with the proper level of sweetness. I had a cherry ice cream- all natural flavor and fresh crushed cherries in it. I felt so happy and jumpy because it tastes so good lol Had 2 containers to go- dark chocolate and coffee. Will be my to go ice cream and donut place from now on

Donuts are my favorite food, so I don't say this lightly, but the vanilla frosted sprinkle donut that I ordered from YoYo is the best donut I've ever had. It was the perfect amount of sweet, the dough was fluffy but had a good chew to it and the frosting wasn't over-powering and complimented the dough perfectly. My friends ordered their plain glazed donut and a specialty donut, the Crème Brulee. The plain donut was, as quoted from the purchaser, "what I expected to be just any other donut, like one from a gas station, is actually the best donut I've ever had." And the other friend very much enjoyed her crème brulee donut even though its appearance leaves a little to be desired. I would 100% go back and I cannot wait.

Love this bakery! . This is the go to place to bring donuts to the office. The variety is phenomenal and the taste is delicious. Love the raspberry filled donuts. But the classic glazed is great too. Be sure to try the maple bacon donut for a complete breakfast. The worms in dirt donut is great as well as those dipped in cereals. You won't be disappointed.

For all the awards they have received I was half expecting their donuts to literally melt in my mouth. Their variety is definitely fun for window shopping however the mpre fun looking the more disappointed I usually am woth flavor amd texture. For example, the s'more donut looks delicious however the graham crackers are stale and the marshmallow is disappointing. On the flip side the old-fashioned also do not have a great flavor or after taste. I am also not really a fan of their coffee/drinks. However if you stick with apple fritters they are pretty good.

Yo-Yo Donuts is always a nice treat of a place to go. They always have fresh pastries. The biggest problem is because they make their donuts in small lots to insure they are fresh, they may be out of your favorite kind at a given time if there's a rush (a very acceptable problem). They always have a nice variety and this place is a favorite place to go for school aged kids, especially elementary. Buy one or a dozen!

Great donuts, massive claims. To make this short and sweet, these donuts are good. They have an amazing quality dough. It melts in your mouth with a buttery texture. They aren't ridiculous either. Often times you'll get donuts that are twice the size of these and they are near impossible to eat, or they ultimately cause insane heart palpitations. However these are what I would refer to as the goldilocks of donuts. Perfect size. The only thing I did find dissatisfying was the flavor. There wasn't a distinct WOW factor when tearing into these bad boys. In fact I noticed more the dough and it's qualities than the taste alone. That being said, they had a busy morning and only a handful of the total selection was available. In all the service was excellent, staff so kind and aesthetic welcoming. 3/5. Just amazing tase and presenation. I got Yo Yo donuts for my father's birthday instead of a cake. What a great idea. They were so good and everyone got to pick the kind they wanted. I ordered ahead and got to skip the line. I had to stop and look around because the whole store is remodled and looks so cute. I have to go back and eat there because I heard they have ice cream now. What an amazing place and the donuts are awesome.

I inquired about getting number donuts for my moms birthday and didn't know what design I wanted and the employees were so helpful in giving ideas and the decorator did such an amazing job! My mom was sooooo happy! I can't thank yo yo donuts enough!

I wish this place had lived up to the hype for us! We came Mother's Day morning and waited in the outside line for 10-15 minutes. We got 6 donuts and I got a vanilla latte! The coffee was really bad :,( I actually didn't even drink it which was disappointing as it was Starbucks price. The donuts we got were not bad, but also not the best either. The chocolate cherry and s'mores ones were good! The lemon filled one was veryyy dry and so was the maple old fashioned. They seemed fresh so I'm not sure what happened. I'm sure we just had an off experience but we will not be back.

Incredibly frustrated and disappointed, completely lost our custom order I put in weeks ahead of time after going through it in detail on the phone. Got a call a week before the party saying they lost the date for my order. I called back and left a message with the date and my contact information and never heard from them again. Went to pick up on the expected date and they couldn't even find our invoice for a while. Finally found it, but had never made the order. So upsetting and unprofessional and really offered little for their mistake. Thanks for disappointing my 8 year old for her birthday.

Love this little shop but today she was in such a hurry when I asked for a specific donut she wasn't listening. O'well I will survive, if that is my biggest disappointment Went with something different today as it looked so good. It's called a pretzel donut but only due to it's taste. It's extremely appealing to the eye.l, with the glaze and chocolate. And The smell is amazing fresh chocolate donut, and it is so soft when you pull it apart. And the best part the taste, so good. Not greasy just great flavor. They really have done a good job not disappointing me.
