The Best Hotels in Paros, Greece

"One of the original hotels in Paros, the Yria—tucked away within a lush five-and-a-half acre estate—underwent a complete refurbishment in 2015 and allowed it to compete with Paros's newer additions. It is perhaps slightly more basic than other smart properties when it comes to guest room design, though what it lacks in originality here, it certainly makes up for outside. The large freshwater pool is dotted with a mix of elderly and fresh-leaved trees, potted shrubs, and grassy knolls, giving it a distinctly ‘Garden of Eden’ quality (sans alluring apple tree). Located just 100 yards from Parasporos Bay, a dip in the Aegean is always on the cards here, as is Cycladic charm in abundance. Address: Yria Boutique Hotel & Spa Paros, Parasporos Bay, Paros 844 00, Greece"

Very nice and peaceful hotel with great gardens. The family maisonette was really comfortable and the room was always clean. The reception was very welcoming and always ready to accommodate all requests. We had a great time. |Its a bit expensive but worthy.

The hotel is nicely laid out and has a pleasant atmosphere. The pool is large, clean and well maintained – a great place to relax. Breakfast was also good, with a nice selection and extremely friendly staff who really made the mornings enjoyable.||The service throughout the hotel was very friendly and welcoming!||That said, the room did not live up to five-star expectations. While it was fine for a short stay, it felt relatively small and dated. The laminate flooring looked and felt quite cheap, and the bathroom was basic and clearly in need of an update. Overall, the room lacked the comfort and refinement you would expect at this level.||We also had high expectations for the restaurant based on the photos, but the food was somewhat disappointing and didn’t quite match the presentation or ambiance we anticipated.

Overpriced & Not a 5-Star Experience We stayed at Yria for five nights and left feeling a bit disappointed. While the setting is beautiful and the breakfast staff were lovely, the overall experience didn’t reflect the five-star standard + was not good value for money. The restaurant and pool were so overpriced they were empty most days—€9.50 for a cappuccino freddo, for e.g. We were charged daily for bottled water in our room, only to be told it’s not provided because “you can drink the tap water”—not quite the level of detail or hospitality you’d expect. Also not sure why “spa” is in the hotel’s title. There is a tiny spa space, but the therapists are brought from elsewhere when needed. While a some staff were kind, several at reception were surprisingly unhelpful. Sadly, the beach that the hotel is near, gets nailed by the wind so we didn’t get to experience it. We stayed at other five-star hotels in Greece, and this just didn’t quite cut it. For the price, we expected more care, warmth, and attention.

Hotel grounds were beautiful, however the rooms needed some TLC. The entire property looked like it needed some work done to it.|The breakfast menu was limited. Would not say it is worth the money, or a 5 star resort. The ‘spa’ isn’t a physical spa. The mini bar in the room was not mentioned to be extra expense, however we were charged €45 for a small packet of Pringle’s one can of coke, one wine and 2 bottles of water unaware it was of extra cost.|There was also no coffee facilities in the room.|Staff were very pleasant.

Yria was perfect!! After getting married in Greece and doing a group trip with 30 friends in the town of Naoussa, Yria was the perfect place for our minimoon. It was quiet, romantic, and the attention to detail was unmatched. The service was great. There is a beautiful pool with tasty food and drinks and the beach is a short five minute walk, with sunbeds and the best sunsets. We wanted to relax and we were able to eat dinner at the hotels restaurant which was also very good. The staff at Yria made the stay that much better… They were able to upgrade our room and even went the extra mile to take into consideration some concerns we had regarding noise during our spa treatment, with a discount and a beautiful gift. Thank you Yianna from concierge & Panagiotis and Sean from the restaurant!

Charming, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Yria Boutique Hotel feels like stepping into a quiet, sun-drenched village — beautifully laid out to give each room a sense of privacy, while still feeling quaint and cozy. The architecture is classic Cycladic, but the playful contrast of colorful shutters and doors against the crisp white walls gives the space real character and charm. The grounds are green and serene, with quiet corners, flowering trees, and a pool that never feels crowded. What really stood out, though, was the staff — consistently helpful and accommodating. They kindly switched rooms for better Wi-Fi reception and arranged a late checkout with no fuss at all. Every request was met with a smile and real hospitality.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast in the morning. If you stay here you have to get a cocktail from Georgia and travel tips from Sia! They were both so helpful and made our vacation so special with their recommendations and hospitality! Super grateful for them and the amazing staff!

The resort is beautiful especially the landscape and pool area. BUT the rooms are NOT 5 star. The staff is very friendly but some of them are not well trained. Bottom line very OVERPRICED.
