Sushi was just OK. Not bad. Not memorable. I tried the featured item, (something) crispy rice which seemed more like OLD rice they double cook to make it hard and call it crispy. Another roll was a mystery roll that can be 6 to 8 pieces based on chefs discretion. I'm guessing more like if it's busy or not. Like if it's busy and they are making money, they give more but if it's slow like it was when I was there, they give you less. I didn't see one single Japanese person working. None of the cooks were Japanese. Important because the love and care going into the dishes was just not there. The mystery roll was just a step up from grocery store sushi. The salmon sashimi didn't have any wasabi or sesame oil to give it that extra kick. It was literally just two cuts of salmon on a chunk of rice. The decor is nice and seats and comfortable. Service was friendly but seemed to be trying too hard. They had 3 servers and only 2 customers. I feel like this place could be really good if they made some changes. Just a few tweaks to the menu and items along with some personnel changes and people would be running to this place

Great option for sushi or Japanese food at Durango Casino & Resort. I’ve been twice now, once for sushi and a second time for a dinner entree — salmon and Brussels. The Brussels sprouts are served with a special sauce and slivered almonds which doesn’t sound like anything special but it really is. Hamachi roll was fresh and delicious with a side of fresh wasabi. Definitely a local staple for us now. Service is also great and we’ve never had to wait to get a table. Love that they also have a section of vegan / vegetarian rolls — 4 vegan rolls specifically.

I am soooo super hooked on Asian cuisine. I am even biased because I am a native of San Francisco, CA, and, well, we have some of the BEST Asian cuisine. The 5 stars were given because this place truly met all expectations and more. The pictures display the presentation and probably arouse your taste buds. I suggest you treat yourself and enjoy either the lunch or dinner menu. It is located inside the Eating Hall of the Durango Casino. As always, trust a big girl, I know where to eat healthy good food. Enjoy

If you are at Durango hotel and wanted Sushi, this would definitely be your choice. I don’t see someone coming here specifically for sushi as there are better options around town at a better price point. Expect to pay premium prices for sushi primarily because it is in a hotel. We ordered Super Spider Roll and the Y.O.M. Sushi Moriwase. With the Y.O.M. Sushi Moriwase, you get to choose a classic roll in which we chose the toro & oshinko roll for an additional $6 charge. Price wise, I felt this was a really good deal since that roll itself would cost $22. And surprisingly, it also was my favorite item that we ate there. One interesting thing is that they also have some noodles and fried rice, which ironically would be something I’d like to try next time. They have a pretty good drink menu as they have a decent selection of sake as well as Japanese Whiskey. If you’re wanting to look for either of those selections, then I’d say this is your best choice since those options aren’t commonly found in casinos in genereal. The vibe of the restaurant was pretty chill where it’s in the middle of feeling like a restaurant, but still attached to a food court. I really like the decor and the huge bonsai tree that they have. There’s no windows separating you from the food court so you may still feel like you’re apart of the food court while eating. Our server was really nice and would check up on us. It wasn’t so busy so it was pretty easy to get their attention if we needed any thing. Overall, I only think it’s good to eat here if you wanted Sushi and was at Durango hotel. But I don’t think it would be the main reason to come to Durango in the first place.

Google
The waitress was super friendly The food portion was huge. The curry is enough for two people. The hamachi kama is large, and the poke bowl was the perfect portion for one medium appetite. The taste of everything was solid; nothing unique, but not bad by any means.

Google
This is a terrific high-end feeling Japanese restaurant, without the inflated prices you find on the strip. The sushi chef (named Webster) was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. A typical traditional role was $11 - $16. Awesome sake selection. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are anywhere near Durango.

Google
Table was not cleaned well! Had to ask them to wipe off food...then found another dirty part. At that point, we gave up. Nothing special about the food. We ordered the chicken curry (a little too spicy for the norm), veggie tempura, and drunken noodle. Noodle and chicken were cooked well. All items were way overpriced for the portion, presentation, and taste (a little too salty on both main dishes). There were 2 lychees in the curry, which I find odd. The lychee martini was mediocre. A kid broke glass at another table and the same lady who wiped our table swept the floor. You guessed it, there were still shards of glass around when we walked by the surrounding tables.

Google
We came for lunch and it appears that the restaurant is short handed. The food did not get to us for over 30 minutes. Luckily we had a good conversation so time passed fast. We ordered sushi and sashimi and the food was mediocre at best. Overall the place had a nice atmosphere but the value and quality of food could be better.

Yelp
Starting with the catchy name and located in one of my favorite off-strip casinos in one of the nicest food halls, I had a pleasant experience here. I wanted sushi and sake so this was the perfect spot. There are quite a few seating options including at a table inside, at the bar, in the food hall area or to-go. The decor is modern with Asian-inspired touches and the menu presents a good number of varied options. Here is what I ordered: Lychee Martini: I'm a sucker for a good one of these and it was probably one of the best I've had! Sapporo: a must with sushi in my opinion The Durango Roll: spicy tuna with salmon and avocado on top. Tasty and satisfied the craving. Rock Shrimp Garlic Noodles: with a little bit of spice, these noodles had great garlic flavor. Along with the food and ambiance, the staff were friendly and very prompt. I dropped a napkin on the floor and the next second our server popped up with another one. I foresee myself returning on my next trip!

Yelp
Staff friendly. Price is reasonable (since it is inside the casino). Portion size: Smaller. Plenty of choices in this food court, but if you are craving for Japanese food, this would be the place.

Yelp
As I continue to try the restaurants in the Eat Your Heart Out food court at Durango Station, I came for an early dinner to Yu-Or-Mi Sushi. For sushi, I'd normally go to one of the local places with which I am familiar. After looking at the menu, I decided to try something different. For a starter, I ordered the mushroom miso soup. The mushrooms were served on the side so I could add as much as I wanted while eating the soup. For the main course, I had to try the uni crab pasta. The menu lists it this way--uni cream sauce, blue crab, garlic, and udon noodles. The miso was one of the best day I've had. Lots of flavor and the mushrooms added to it. The uni crab pasta was very good, also. I would have liked more than one piece of uni but I know the cost of uni. There was a fair amount of crab. The creamy uni pasta was perfectly cooked. I finished with a piece of yuzu cheesecake. Light and airy, it was a good finish. Euel was my server and he was on top of things. I need to point out that the restaurant was empty at this time but I had the feeling he would have given the same good service if they were busy.

Yelp
This is the second location for their downtown spot and one of three restaurants inside the food hall that has its own seating area. Items are priced higher than their original spot since it's located inside a casino but you can use your dining credit. Noise level is a little too loud for me with the casino music blaring in the background. We came for a late lunch and were seated right away since the restaurant wasn't that busy. Our favorite items were the spicy tuna crispy rice, beef panang curry, and truffle crab fried rice. Although the server didn't ask when taking our order, the curry had the perfect spice level. Unfortunately, the drunken noodles were a little bland and the rice was undercooked. It's a great casual restaurant with a good selection of sushi and other Asian dishes but a little on the pricey side.

Yelp
Came here for new years. It's good but expensive. Atmosphere isn't special, just another food place inside a casino. They actually had the same music as the casino playing which was interesting as they were bopping to disco which is not normal when eating sushi. The food was all good. Our sever was very attentive and great at keeping our water and drink is stocked. She also was good at helping us with food questions. One example is with the sweet shrimp we ordered. It came out with fried heads - we had no idea if we were supposed to eat these or not. Our server came to our rescue and showed us what to do. We also ordered the soft shell crab fried rice, the Durango roll, the Hawaiian roll, beef tataki, and Totoro. The rolls were all good with lots of meat and less rice - what I would expect from their prices. I really loved the Totoro and tataki- although they were pricey, they tasted amazing. I have nothing to complain about this place. It checked all the boxes for an a la carte sushi spot.

Yelp
Very price ordered uni pasta .. they use udon noodles and very small price of uni and cost $34 .. house salad us $10 but only Romain salad and few tomatoes. I never go that place.

Yelp
Amazing fresh delicious sushi and all the sides such as miso soup, garlic edamame and seaweed salad. They also serve a very unique salmon chips with avocado delicious! They have two different sizes of sashimi bowls. The smaller size was almost too much for our party of six to finish. You must try the lychee sake it's amazing! This restaurant is conveniently located in the beautiful brand new Durango casino. Servers were also wonderfully attentive and kept refilling our green tea and water. We topped it all off with cheesecake and mochi ice cream!

Yelp
Yu or Mi is always a great place for fresh Sashimi and Food Overall, This is the only place I will eat salmon from, And I don't eat salmon period. The preparation of the salmon is amazing. It's not AYCE, The food Quality is Amazing and it a nice spot in Durango Resort.

Yelp
I love how they are able to wrap the sushi in cucumber as I have a rice intolerance. Let's rate the food! Pad Thai- 7/10 The shrimp tempura roll- 8/10 Vegan roll- 9-10 Vegetable tempura roll-9/10 The waitress was nice but her facial expressions she appears intimidating a bit however she was nice.

Yelp
Located in the eat your heart out food hall at the Durango casino! This is a beautiful location. The staff was super friendly and patient as I placed a to go order at the counter. Their menu is pretty big! Very diff than the location near downtown I went to. This location is sooo much better with more variety and a larger space which I loved. The food was very good and filling but also healthier options. Will def come back again to try more things on the menu. I got the fried rice box which is a lunch special! A great price for 18.88 - comes with green onion, egg / choice of: veggie, chicken, or shrimp +2; served with green salad, vegetable gyoza, shrimp tempura, miso soup

Yelp
Went to check out Durango for the first time and opted for Yu or Mi Sushi. A delightful surprise! Yu or Mi is tucked into the food court at Durango. We were big fans of the sushi, but specifically liked the spicy shrimp. Worth a stop if you're visiting Durango casino. Staff is friendly, sushi is fresh! While it's not AYCE, it's still delicious and worth the price.

Yelp
TLDR : Nice ambience, quick service, great food Visited Yu or Mi Sushi as we wanted to get some good Asian food. It turned out to be a good decision and we had a great time. Even with food restrictions (vegeterian) there was good options for everyone. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
I tried had this place twice and I can confirm the food has been good both times. I love that they offer plenty of vegan options with the sushi rolls, appetizers, and sides. I had the Vegetable Tempura roll, Edamame, and a side of steamed rice. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned well, and the roll had a nice umami balance with the sweetness from the sweet potatoes. I opted to eat in the food hall, so I can't speak much to the ambiance of the space. However, it does look very nice and modern with the decor. Service wise, the young woman who helped me out was nice and my food was ready quicker than I expected. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Horribly overpriced! They charged me $50 for two orders of Curry, one with exactly four pieces of shrimp, the other with a few very small pieces of beef; $17 for four spicy tuna rolls. If you care about value then do not eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
Located in Durango Casino and eatery to visit ! Tempura Udon set and Yellowtail Kama are the bomb. The first thing I look at tempura is the color (Golden) not brown. At least the oil was fresh . Check out the huge Kama . Draft beer here is is plus and my waiter was excellent! Hope you come by and enjoy the Sushi Tuna roll or Spicy Tuna they are a size of a quarter not a nickel. Each size of roll was proportional and even this means the chef has some skills , lol.

Yelp
This is a good sushi spot located at the corner of the restaurant court in the Durango Casino/Hotel. The decor is bright, modern-Asian and very beautiful. We ate the bar and ordered an array of tuna sashimi, unagi and tako sushi. The fresh sushi is delicious. I started with a nicely seasoned miso soup loaded with tofu and a seaweed type plant. Once the fresh sashimi and sushi was served on individual plates, we had smiles on our faces and totally satisfied. The place was packed, but service was still prompt and fine. Quality sushi is served here~

Yelp
Helpful Tip: Located in the food hall After a quick loop around this elevated food hall inside of the Durango Casino I decided on this sushi spot. Service was a little slow but the host and server were both very polite. Kimchi fried rice was bland outside of the char like flavor. I wouldn't recommend this item at all and the server recommended the crab fried rice when I asked her about the Kimchi fried rice $18 (I should have picked up on what she may have tried to hint). I thoroughly enjoyed the fatty like yellow tail tiradito $18. This dish wasn't spicy at all but it did have great flavor. Spicy garlic edamame $9 definitely not shareable (small portion) but spicy af and delish!

Yelp
I would give this place 5 stars for their spicy tuna crispy rice alone! Originally I thought the order was simply a piece of tuna on crispy rice but to my surprise between the two was a nice spicy tuna mix. Their cocktails were also delicious and refreshing. And what really topped it off was the friendly service. I really appreciated the staff member taking care of us, she was happy and accommodating! Honorable mentions are the yellowtail sashimi and the shishito peppers, don't skip out! This is a perfect casual dining stop if you're at Durango.

Yelp
Visited last night 2/15/2025. Hostess was not too friendly. Forgot my water. Waiter was super friendly. I got the mixed udon soup. Noodles were so thick and lacking flavor. Husband got the truffle crab fried rice. He loved it. Overall the experience was not very good for our anniversary dinner. We will not be back!

Yelp
I've gotten takeout a few times and recently dined in for their lunch special. It all averages out to around 3 stars. Though severely overpriced, their rolls, nigiri, sashimi are good. They recently introduced lunch specials in an effort to drum up more business during the weekdays (which are typically pretty dead). The bento box lunch specials range from $18.88 to $22 for their nigiri or sashimi boxes. Depending on what you get, it might also include miso soup, shrimp tempura, salad, and edamame, etc. I tried the yakisoba box with chicken, and it was a decent sized portion. We also tried the unagi rice box, but the unagi size was disappointing. The unagi is essentially the thinly sliced version that they normally put on top of nigiri. The biggest disappointment was their gyoza, which was just a few boiled dumplings drowned in sauce. I had better versions from the frozen section at Costco.

Yelp
The food was good, this is the first time I went to Durango Casino, its pretty decent vibe unlike the casinos in the strip. The restaurant has limited seating but enough for groups of people. Food. I have their Uni Crab Pasta, which I really enjoyed. It's creamy and the noodle is cooked perfectly. The shredded crabs are generous. Love the taste of it! My friend got their Mi-Stake which is a witty name btw lol. It was tender and melts in the mouth. It was served in a sizzling plate, so you can cook it per the doneness you wanted. We also had their oysters which are seasoned perfectly and slurped easily. I got fatty tuna and salmon sashimi, I like the salmon over the fatty tuna, as it has this taste that don't agree with my palette. I think I had better. We also ordered Roulette Roll which is cool because it was called roulette as one of the sushi was prepared with extra spicy ingredient and you can play among your friends on betting who has the spiciest hahaha what are the odds! Haha All in all this is a good option for sushi bar.

Yelp
Came here for the crispy tuna rice, it was superb. I would say the restaurant was a bit loud however to be fair you are in a food court, the service was excellent our very was very kind. My only feedback is the rice could have been more crispy and the price should be more reasonable.

Yelp
We were curious to try other dining choices in the new casino, and this casual restaurant had tables open on a Saturday evening. The service was decent, although we always had different servers checking on us and bringing things. We were not sure whom to ask if we needed something. There were a few errors, too. We were brought the wrong drink, and they confused one of our entree orders. They did correct the issues quickly, though. I had the lychee martini which was potent and very tasty. We tried the spicy tiger shrimp and both tropical tuna and Hawaiian tuna rolls. These were all very good. The Hawaiian was particularly tasty. I also had the beef sukiyaki bowl. This was decent with fairly tender beef, but the sauce itself was fairly bland. Overall, this was a fairly tasty meal (particularly the rolls) with some service missteps. The prices were also quite high for an off strip casino restaurant. We might be willing to give them another try, as the issues could just be growing pains for a very new establishment.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting the Durango casino. When you take the elevators from self park they open into the food court. This is more of a restaurant court and so are the prices. The restaurant is small with sushi bar seating and tables. Decor is simple - lacks style or ambiance. The menu offers vast Japanese offerings - bar menu is limited but they are offering both wine, sake and liquor. We started with 9 pc sashimi and ordered the Durango roll. Fish was fresh and Roll was well prepared. We sat at sushi bar and staff were very attentive and drinks were professionally prepared. I watched at least 20 people come by, read menu and walk away. The high prices and lack luster interior is a real deficit. I live closer to the Red Rock and would prefer Blue Ribbon over this experience.

Yelp
My cousin and I went to Durango Casino's new Eat Your Heart Out Food Hall for our weekly Sunday dinner yesterday. We started by getting a lay of the land and scoping out the different food options. While we were both intrigued by many of the restaurants in the food hall, we settled on Yu or Mi Sushi since we loved the aesthetics of the restaurant, and we're both seafood lovers. I had been to their original DTLV location, so I was excited to try out this new location as well. Here's a quick snapshot of my visit: Food: My cousin was adventurous and ordered carpaccio, sashimi, and different sushi rolls. On the other hand, I got tunnel vision and went straight to crab heaven when I noticed the crab fried rice on the menu, which was topped with a fried soft shell crab. Bay-baae (New Orleans pronunciation of baby), let me tell you it was the best fried rice I've ever had! Service: Superb. Our server was professional and patient/understanding whenever we had questions or needed something. All the food we ordered came out fairly quickly and was solid overall. Beverage refills were timely. All the staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. Ambiance: We loved the earth tones and modern design in the restaurant itself. The open concept also allowed us to observe the action and good energy in other parts of the food hall. My cousin--who grew up in Vegas--saw two of his high school classmates, who sat next to us at the sushi bar. Meanwhile, I started conversing with the person sitting next to me, a man from Germany who currently lives in Vegas. It was an entire vibe.

Yelp
This place is located inside the Durango Atation Casino, located in the food court but is it's own restaurant. The ambience is modern Japanese and offers desserts, appetizers, entrees, bowls and of course sushi! My husband and I had the ebi bowl, while I had the sea bass. The ebi bowl had a butter- garlic flavor with a kick, and sat in a bed of what tastes like a furikake fried rice. At first glance, you may perceive the sea bass as a small portion but it was a thick piece and bursting with flavor (think misoyaki). Both were delicious and very flavorful! I have my eye on the truffle crab fried rice for next time! Hannah was our server and made our first dining experience a memorable one. She waa fun, attentive and provides us with some suggestions, which we truly appreciated. We saw many of the other customers' orders and everything looked amazing! We will definitely dine here again!

Yelp
I had a pleasant experience at Yu or Mi Sushi. This was the first time I'd eaten at the Durango food court. I came with 2 other friends, and we all wanted different things, so this was very convenient. I decided I wanted the sukiyaki from here. Initially I planned on to-go so that I could sit in the open seating area shared by the entire food court. They take your name and phone number so that they can message you when the order is ready. However after looking around for seating, my friends and I couldn't find a comfortable booth. My other friend who had also ordered to-go from here asked if we could all just sit in here, including our other friend who ordered food from somewhere else. There was a moment's hesitation but they ultimately allowed it, which was so nice of them. The sukiyaki was delicious. The broth was flavorful but on the oily and salty side. I liked the beef and veggies. The fried shrimp on top was unnecessary and soggy. The noodles were a tad undercooked. The worst part of the meal though was the white rice. It was dry and old. Luckily I didn't care to eat much of the white rice anyway. Service was good even though we technically weren't supposed to eat in there. I would definitely come back but I'd probably try other places at the food court first before I circle back.

Yelp
I ordered the Bara Chirashi Don and my wife ordered the Beef Sukiyaki. The Bara Chirashi Don was very small. As advertised, the sashimi is sliced in cubes which takes away from the taste. I didn't expect such a small portion. The Beef Sukiyaki was very sweet. The beef was clumped together. The taste was sweet and a little bland. Pros: 1/2 Point Dining using Stations Card, hostess and server were very attentive. Cons: Pricey and small portions

Yelp
When in Vegas, stopping by Yu or Mi Sushi at the Durango Casino is a must! This time, I brought my wife and newborn along, and guess what? Johnny was there again to greet us. He's always fantastic, and this visit was no exception. He found us a perfect, secluded spot--just what we needed. He even came by to check on us, ensuring our comfort and making the experience even more memorable. Now, let's talk about the food. We went all out this time, starting with the Kumamoto Oysters. Topped with fish eggs and a mystery sauce that was an absolute symphony of flavors, they were divine. Then came the Yellowtail Jalapeno Sashimi. We devoured it in seconds--seriously, it was that good. Next up was the Nacho Poki! Expecting a small appetizer, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion. Loaded with avocados and tomatoes, and with perfectly cooked chips, it was like a fiesta on a plate. The surprise of the night, however, had to be the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Absolutely delicious! Each sprout was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender on the inside, drizzled with a savory glaze that had just the right amount of sweetness. They were so good that we contemplated ordering a second round. The star of the night absolutely had to be the Crab Pasta followed, creamy and rich. The sauce, possibly made with crab or umi (I can't remember exactly), was impeccable. Finally, I couldn't resist the Crab Fried Rice. Topped with blue crab cooked to perfection, it was a rice lover's dream come true. All in all, Yu or mi Sushi at Durango Casino never disappoints. The food is spectacular, the service is top-notch, and Johnny always makes us feel like VIPs. Highly recommend! If you are visiting Vegas, this is the joint to check out! Thanks, Johnny!

Yelp
Yu or Mi Sushi is one of many restaurants part of the new Durango Casino's food hall. Making reservations for parties of 1-4 is a breeze through OpenTable, but be prepared to call for a reservation if your party is 5 or more as it will say your party is too big. The restaurant was easy to find by the entrance and we were promptly seated within a few minutes of arriving. Our server was able to answer any questions we had and gave us ample time to skim through the menu. While the menu lacks variety, making decisions difficult, the real challenge arises with the prices. Appetizers, sashimi, nigiri, specialty rolls, and sides come at a hefty 2-2.5x premium compared to standard sushi restaurants or a la carte at an AYCE spot. I opted for the Beef Sukiyaki, priced at $34 and supposedly feeds 2-3 people per our server. I figured if it does, that would justify the steep price. However, the reality was far from it - the portion was meager, like the size of two rice bowls combined. However, the contents itself would fill up only 1 bowl. The flavor was disappointingly bland and the sliced ribeye was so overcooked, dry, and tough, resembling beef jerky. To add to the frustration, the restaurant seems extremely overstaffed for its small size, leading to frequent chair bumps throughout the night. While the staff is friendly, the overall experience fell short of justifying the high price point. In conclusion, Yu or Mi Sushi left me unimpressed, and I cannot say I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
This is our 2nd time coming Yu or Mi Sushi, the first time was grand opening weekend. And both times the food was served quickly, especially the sushi bar. The rolls and sashimi was delicious, Sukiyaki was a little too sweet, but the shishito peppers and Brussels sprouts were amazing. Ambiance - both times we were seated at the sushi bar which we love. Interior is bright and clean with the pop of dark green at the bar. The sushi chefs were great and helpful with sushi & menu recommendations. Great spot for quick & tasty sushi.

Yelp
This was our 2nd time there. We really enjoy coming here with friends, while drinking sake and trying different rolls. I got the roulette roll this time around. We always remember to get the fresh wasabi. The sake was really good as well! The food got out to us quickly and our waiter was very kind and helpful. I really admire the aesthetic and overall look of the restaurant.

Yelp
The 3 is based on a family review. Ok spot if you are in arts district and want some sushi or ramen. No kid friendly items on the menu. Clean spot. Very small and crowded. Waiter was nice. Water taste like straight drain water. Sushi was ok. For a la carte sushi I expect better quality.

Yelp
In the Eat Your Heart Out food court in the Durango Casino - We shared a few items and it did not disappoint! The Crispy rice with spicy tuna was my favorite - I've never had it like this, with slices of tuna and the spicy underneath - fantastic. The Goyza (vegetarian) was really good as were the vegan rolls. I love that they have a nice selection for our vegetarian friends so we can bring them here! We also enjoyed cold Saki and Japanese white beer. Service was attentive, I would only suggest that when someone orders a beer - bring them a glass (I don't want to drink from the can) and when ordering cold Saki, bring a Saki glass, not a water glass. That's just training the staff but it's the little things.....

Yelp
This place is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. It features minimalist Japanese decor and has excellent service. The fish is incredibly fresh, and I particularly enjoyed the SWEET SHRIMP & SCALLOP SUSHI. Enjoy! PS: Restaurant is in the food court looking area.

Yelp
I like the ambience but my review is based solely on the yakisoba chicken. It tasted more like a chow mein.

Yelp
The services were so friendly and kind and polite. The inside was all neat and clean. And the owner's father was such a great guy! He was working hard and thoughtful! Roulette roll and Jumbo Shrimp were more spicy than we thought but it was delicious. Soft-shell crab was just normal. We will be back if we have the chance!

Yelp
My husband and I came in last week and ate here and it was such a pleasant surprise that we are back again today their sushi rolls are great. I got the avocado roll which has asparagus and avocado in it. My husband got the sashimi and several other rolls they're very good. I would highly recommend if you like a sushi place that this would be the one that you come to And the service is very good. Quality of food is good too.

Yelp
Well, don't worry about trying to a get a reservation, they don't answer the phone here. But you also don't need one. My mom and I were able to get two seats at the sushi right away about 7pm on a Saturday. Service is excellent. Wine selection is limited. Rolls are okay. I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had but it was fine. I actually really loved the Uni Crab Pasta the most. And I would come back for that. Blue crab, uni cream sauce, and udon noodles - yum yum yum!

Yelp
Lunch specials are definitely worth the price!! Miso soup was also included in this meal (not pictured). Sushi quality is pretty good. I feel like AYCE competitors' quality have gone down so I don't mind this lunch special pricing. The salad dresssing is light and refreshing. The tempura batter is on the thicker side. But everything was enjoyable! I would come back! Service was quick and ambiance is modern. It's a small place but never seem to be too busy.

Yelp
Came out here for a business meeting and stopped for a quick lunch at yu or mi sushi. It's great sushi when you need a fix in Vegas. I suggested the fresh scallop sushi. They have uni pasta which I really wanted to try but I was cutting back on gluten. The service was really good. Friendly and attentive. The place was very lively with people visiting the casino. When you want some upscale dining in south Vegas you go to you or mi sushi. Oh yah they have some good sake and Japanese beers too.

Yelp
We recently visited the new Durango Casino and were impressed by its beautiful design and wide selection of options. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were able to quickly secure a table at Yu Or Mi Sushi. It is advisable to make reservations in advance for dining at Durango, as all restaurants were bustling. The staff were courteous and provided helpful suggestions. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, although it was a bit noisy due to its size. The establishment was simply decorated and impeccably clean, as expected for a new venue. The food at Yu Or Mi Sushi was tasty and on par with other sushi eateries in casinos. Their sake shooters were exceptional and highly recommended. Truffle was a prominent ingredient in many dishes, so if that flavor is not to your liking, this may not be the ideal restaurant for you. However, we enjoyed our experience and plan to return in the future.

Yelp
Located at the eat your heart out food court. Looks upscale but very casual. We got the mushroom miso soup, truffle hamachi roll and truffle crab friend rice. Skip on the miso soup. The roll was absolutely delicious! The crab fried rice is good for sharing

Yelp
Our first time here and we ordered quite a bit. The nigiri sushi were fresh, the composite sashimi, not a fan, the rolls, not too bad. My highlight was the crab fried rice, it was delicious but over priced. Actually the prices was a little bit high for everything. Our server was good, the customer service was really good. Very helpful. The ambiance was a delight, no one can see you from the casino floor. We will be back for more.

Yelp
We absolutely adore the food here! Our order included poke nachos, seafood nabesaki, chicken rice bowl, veggie gyoza, beef sukiyaki, and crab truffle fried rice, and every dish was bursting with freshness and flavor! Trust us, it's beyond worth it. The service is exceptional; the servers and staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and respectful. The ambiance is equally impressive, with a cool contemporary design and beautiful wooden aesthetics that enhance the overall dining experience. Kudos to the team at Yu or Mi for a job well done!

Yelp
I was at the Durango early evening on Wednesday and decided to order the Y.O.M. Sushi Deluxe to go. The restaurant was not busy. The young man at the host stand was very helpful in taking my order. It took about 15 minutes to come out. The sushi selection was good. The quality of the fish was good. It did not taste like anything was added to enhance or bury the flavor the fish itself. So the reason for three stars ? None of the sushi pieces really stood out as particularly flavorful. I also thought that $52 was a little high for what it is. I would eat here again and try some of the specialty items. Being all I had was plain sushi, it's not a complete assessment.
