"On your way to your table, you’ll walk past a cabinet of Peking duck that’s a favorite order of many of the guests here at this handsome and comfortable Chinese restaurant at the Four Seasons hotel. While the menu leans towards Cantonese cuisine–lunchtime dim sum is always popular and the choice is extensive–the kitchen also offers specialities from a number of Chinese regions. Wok-fried Hoengseong Hanwood beef with ginger is a dish to look out for." - Michelin Inspector

This review is based on the expectation that comes with a restaurant holding a one-star Michelin rating—especially at this price point. Unfortunately, several dishes fell short. The scallop had a noticeably fishy aftertaste. The fried shrimp and duck was excessively oily and greasy and the batter was way too thick. The Beijing duck wrap was overly doughy, and even the special black bean sauce was underwhelming. Honestly, the best part of the entire meal was the vegetables. Overall, it was so disappointing that we ended our meal halfway and went to another restaurant.

The best peking duck in Korea ❤️ great service, atmosphere, and food. Tea was quite nice too. Recommend ordering more peking duck than other dishes in balancing the portion.

I had the lunch dim sum combo. Overall, it felt like a safe, slightly fancy take on dim sum. In comparison, I could easily find better-tasting dim sum at a regular dim sum restaurant in Vancouver. Most of the items had a similar shrimp-based flavor, which became a bit repetitive. Aside from one or two standout dishes, the rest were quite underwhelming. That being said, the food itself wasn’t bad—it was just not worth the price. The overwhelming sense of it being way too overpriced never left me throughout the meal. They either need to lower the price or significantly upgrade the variety and quality of the dishes. I might return to try the truffle Peking duck, but other than that, I have no intention of coming back.

Went there for dinner and for lunch!! For dinner, our group decided to go for two of us with the Peking Duck and two of us got the Set Menu B. It was all delicious but also, expensive. Not something I would go to often but it was an experience! Food was great and service was even better! We also did the beverage pairing with the dinners and that was amazing! They did a very good job pairing the wines and I got it try some things I never had before. For lunch the next day, we did the dim sum set menu which I think was a bit on the pricey side but you’re paying for the experience and the exceptional staff! We again did the beverage pairing add on (don’t think it was necessary for this) but got the add ons of the mail tofu and the sweet and sour pork, all of it was delicious!

Although the bbq pork and dim sum was delicious, truffle duck and sweet& sour soup wasn’t as good. I believe the normal duck would have taste much better than the truffle ones. Crab fried rice is a MUST (wok hei was heavenly)

Food is amazing there. Had the black truffle Peking duck and fried shrimp was above expectations. Also the staff went way beyond to keep my table satisfied. Loved it there and definitely will be back

Interior design is inspired from Yùyuán in Shanhai, the chef is from Guangdong province, and Michelin starred by Beijing duck! Great service and food. Beijing duck is great. You need to make a reservation for the duck.

The best modern chinese restaurant I've ever been in seoul. The dish are stunning and the service is great. I would like to re-visite YU YUAN @ fourseasons hotel in seoul again with my family members.
