There’s always queues at this place & I can see why. Decent pricing & nice food. Quite liked the braised beef noodles & lou rou rice. I’ve had better chicken bites but it was still good. Egg pancake was abit thick for me. Overall a nice place for Taiwanese food but I wouldn’t queue hours for it Their menu system could also be better as my internet wasn’t working I couldn’t order via the qr code, so they gave me a sheet of paper which is fine, but it was out of date & didn’t have a lot of the items on it

It's really crowded during lunch hour/dinner time so better be prepared. Honestly, compared to otherr taiwanese restaurants in HK, this was pretty basic, I'd say not that worth it compared to the hype 😞

My first review in HK. Appetizers are super good, way better than any Taiwan food I had in past 10 years from the States.

Awesome Taiwanese authenticity! This is all you need! And it is tremendous for only HKD50 per person excluding drinks! Perfectly braised pork on rice, and freshly fried white pepper and salt chicken! Superb

Food is fine. Portion is small but prices are reasonable in HK. Just wanna highlight the takeaway cup needs $2 is not quite reasonable in HK. The background music is a bit loud, quite hard to talk with friend inside the restaurant.

We were unbelievably lucky to stumble across this Taiwanese gem of a restaurant with literally a table available for two (there is usually a 30-minute wait). Daunted at first, until we spotted the QR code and then started to order some very authentically unusual side dishes (Burdock Salad is a must, Black Fungus in vinaigrette is fresh and deliciously pickled and the fried chicken is succulent with a crispy flavoured batter. We opted to try the braised beef rice and the pork belly noodles, both of which were good portions and very delightful in their rich taste. The whole experience is great to revel in, with basic stools and tables where the wait-staff will park up your meals in a matter of minutes. The vibe is very lively and the open kitchen layout is great to watch. Definitely makes for a more interesting evening out, but I would say opt for midweek as weekends can get quite hectic and they turn over tables quite quickly.

The braised pork is amazing across all the pork dishes. We had the pork belly bun and the braised pork rice bowl. The bun comes with pickeld veggies and crushed peanuts - seems weird but trust me it works. The variety of iced teas is huge and they are not too sweet!

Food: Ordered 焢肉飯 for $49. The portion was quite small for a guy. The food quality was fine and each bite tasted quite delectable after you mix everything. However, it would be great if the drinks could be free, or a few dollars. Their canned coke is $15, which is absolutely ludicrous for a non-high-end restaurant, considering how I can buy them for less than half the price outside. Also it didn't have enough side dish choices or addons for me to increase the portion size. Service: The food was served within 2 minutes, which was shocking. I don't know how they pull this off... The staff gave us an extra chair to place our belongings, which is very considerate. Atmosphere: It's okay-spacious, but a bit cramped in some places. Okay vibes.

Pretty much a 4.5 star in my book. I know taiwanese food and most of their dishes here are similar to the solid places on taiwan. Prepare for long waits and lines but the food is worth it. Braised pork rice (lu ro fan), taiwanese popcorn chicken, oyster omelette, and taiwanese sausage saves you a plane ticket to taiwan.
