Google
I live very close to Miami Beach and had seen this place multiple times, but never gone inside; that changed a few days ago. I visited this place on a Sunday evening. The decor in the restaurante is magnificent. Lovely place. The food and service were on point! Our server was very knowledgable and kept checking on us and made sure that our visit was one to remember. I had the "Churrasco A Lo Pobre" and my wife had the ceviche. The food came out extremely fast. To be fair, the place was not super crowded since it was raining a lot that evening. The steak was juicy and cooked medium just I as asked. The congri (white rice and black beans) was so flavorful and with the runny egg on top, it just made the whole thing more delicious. The ceviche presentation was something I've never seen before and my wife enjoyed it very much! Lastly, we ordered a dessert (cannot remember the name); they don't have a dessert menu. The desert had some dulce de leche and it was very tasty! I recommend this place! I'll definitely be back and try their chaufa next time!

Google
After art basel, we're looking for dining options and unexpectedly discovered Yuca105. Restaurant offers unique ceviche seafood combinations, my taste buds were pleasantly surprised! Every dish was delicious and the servers very attentive and courteous.

Google
First time here, a few uber drivers mentioned this place when I asked about a good ceviche. I got a plate with 3 different types of ceviche and it did not disappoint our server Roxana (i hope i got that right) was amazing. She explained the differences

Google
Wow! My husband visited Yuca 105 two years ago and has been raving about it ever since. He insisted we had to go on our recent trip to Miami, and it did not disappoint! The experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had the yuca ceviche and the vaca frita, and both dishes were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. We will be telling all of our friends that this is a must-visit spot in Miami. We can't wait to come back!

Google
We had the ceviche yuca 105 and the lechona. Everything was amazing and I mean it! Seafood was fresh, salsa tasty and refreshing. The pork was cooked perfectly: tender and so flavorful and citrusy. Service was really kind and attentive. I wood definitely come back

Google
My second time to Miami, and the food is becoming an even bigger draw than the weather or beaches. This place should not be missed. We ordered 2 of the recommended cocktails, traditional ceviche, and the tartar en playa guanabo as appetizers. Exceptional. Do not pass these up. I ordered the tacu tacu mero mero macho, with the rice and grouper being very good but the crustaceans less so. They seemed to be frozen prior to cooking. My wife ordered the lomojo congri and was thoroughly pleased. Dessert was espresso martini and the guava-like peruvian fruit, which was not too sweet yet very tasty. My wife, a Japanese foodie to her core, told me at the end of the meal that if she ever were to have a party in Miami, it would be here due to the delicious food and excellent decor. Next time we are in Miami, we will be back.

Google
Absolutely loved this place! Romantic atmosphere and very unique and innovative food! Very delicious steak, unique drinks, and their sushi was like fusion of south American and Japanese flavors. So glad we stumbled upon this place!

Google
Outstanding food. The ceviche was great but the Tuna Tartare was absolutely delicious. The Ropa Vieja is incredible. Very pretty restaurant with great service. In a great location between Lincoln Road and Espanola Way. I’d go here anytime I’m in Miami Beach.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner and ordered the lomo saltado sushi which tasted like lomo saltado in August form. Only thing that was missing were the fries. Flavor was spot on. Also ordered a strawberry margarita with lots of mint. I also tried a different sushi with avocado which was delicious as well. If you're in Miami and looking for Cuban and Peruvian fusion this is the spot.

Yelp
Awesome place to get some tasty small plates and incredible drinks in the heart of Miami Beach. The Huancaína Trufada and the Yuca Ceviche were bursting with flavor and had us licking the sauce from the plate after we finished them. I will be lusting over those dishes for quite some time. Washing it all down with a Pisco Sour and Mojito really hit the spot as well. Both come in all sorts of delicious flavors, including guava which is the flavor we chose to roll with. The Mojito was good but the Pisco Sour really stole the show in the drink department given how flavorful and refreshing it was on a hot day. Definitely the best Pisco Sour I've had. I would skip the Jalea Mixta, it looks good in the menu description but it's essentially just assorted fish calamari. I would look for a different entree, or just skip entrees all together here and go with the small plates. Their small plates are unique and hard to find elsewhere. The service is also very friendly and helpful with the menu, which is certainly intimidating if you're not used to this type of food. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Nothing clever to write- this place is the bomb dot com... period. The ceviche sampler and the cocktails are excellent! Atmosphere and service... fuhghettaboutit!!
google avatar

Yelp
Went here last time and ordered the same Ox tail. This time is was not as good as the first time. It was less tasty but still really good (4/5) The sushi was really yummy, cool take of peruvian sushi (5/5) Nutella old fashioned was not great (3/5)

Yelp
We spotted Yuca105 while driving to our hotel and immediately decided we were going to have dinner here. We didn't have reservations but were seated promptly and hostess and servers were attentive and friendly. Marco our server was phenomenal. He made my mother feel like the Queen she is. The manager also checked in on us which was super nice as he recommended a maracuyá cheese cake that was out of this world delicious. For our appetizer we shared the traditional croquetas de abuela and the traditional ceviche with mixed seafood. The ceviche had us mmm-ing because it was limey, flavorful and each bite was better and better. For the main course we shared the chaufa especial and my sister said it was in her top 3 of best chaufas. Overall loved the atmosphere and service.
google avatar

Yelp
The appetizers, main course, and dessert were all amazing. The quality was incredible. It was an wonderful experience. Everything tastes fresh.

Yelp
Eh 5/10 Food wasn't the best. Jalea was a 8/10 kinda on the burnt side Churrasco was a waste of money -2/10 Service was OK
google avatar

Allison A.

Yelp
Delicious ceviche sampler and great service! Ordered ropa vieja for dinner which was standard size.

Elena I.

Yelp
Just discovered this gem. Absolutely stunning restaurant. I tried the Yuca105 ceviche and the chaufa especial mixto, which is basically the fried rice with seafood and meat. The best part of that dish was the melting pork belly. My server Lautaro was very nice and efficient, could read my needs from far away. Nice glass of albariño perfectly complimented my meal. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I came here with my family on a Sunday evening right when the place opened and got a table outside. We were greeted by very friendly waiters who took our drink order to start. We ordered virgin pina coladas and mojitos and loved how refreshing the drinks were! In addition to drinks, we had 2 orders of lomojo congri and the tacu tacu meri meri macho, and the yuca 105 signature sushi. Unfortunately even though we informed them of an allergy, they brought out the sushi that had the allergen in it. Overall the food was so so, and extremely overpriced. I'm not sure I'd visit here again - there's much more moderately priced and better tasting Cuban/peruvian food on south beach! I did give an extra point for kind servers and a clean bathroom!

Chi's Life C.

Yelp
Love the food and service! Everything is so delicious especially their ceviche. Lao is very nice! I would diffinetely come here again.

Yelp
My first meal in Miami Beach was not a disappointment at all - after a long delayed flight from freezing Chicago with nothing but airplane peanuts in me, walking into this restaurant was a refreshing and beautiful start to a vacation. The decor is stunning and deserves its own review for the amazing work the restaurant owners had put into getting it up there. But I'm not decorations reviewer - this is about the food and service. The servers were all so friendly and will always greet you with a big smile that say, "I hope you're having a great time!" Now, I'm forgetting the dish names off the top of my head and they're a bit hard to recall, so I'll do it by some obvious descriptors in the pictures. The nuts and chips in the cup were a savory treat to keep us busy before the main course came out. It was a nice, unique Peruvian snack that I've never had. The corn and nut with seafood mix was the traditional meal you see from what I've heard. It comes with a sour taste and the seafood had soaked in the flavor. This place was a solid introduction into the cuisine available in Miami, and I would definitely return.

Yelp
Excellent choices on the menu. Visit and enjoy! Great appetizers- delish.. great service- delicious food! Bar is exquisitely open to your best orders! Wines to choose from ., my Prosecco was worth a second glass.
google avatar

Yelp
Oh my God, everything was delicious and then we topped it off with this wonderful Cuban espresso martini :-) so good! I also had fair coconut Mojito, which was amazing :-) my dinner was so good. I just had to take a picture!

Yelp
Food is fantastic! We were going to go to another restaurant for dinner but it was closed so we asked someone for a recommendation and they say yuca 105. We had carretillero habanero for appetizer it was superb and beautiful. We drank moscow mule but they heavy poured the alcohol but it was tastey. I didnt finish it to much alcohol. We also had Chips de Guajiro , love the yucca root and plantains. Finally we tried sushi roll with white fish , the Yuca 105 Acevichado. It had sugar on the top, it says glazed sweet potato but it tastes like ground sugar. Service is traditional latin style a bit slow. And no tp in bathroom!! If it wasnt for that it might have been 5 stars. Decor is very hip and all young couples wearing nice dressy clothes.

Matt E.

Yelp
Yuca 105 was an excellent authentic Peruvian experience. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and our server Roxana was knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy because I was unfamiliar with several items on the menu. The pulpo appetizer and lobster/ceviche special were outstanding. Incredibly satisfied all-around!
google avatar

Stephen S.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and walk 4 minutes from the crowd at Espanola Way to Yuca 105. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all amazing! Neat blend of Cuban and Peruvian tastes. Definitely a winner!
google avatar

Adriana M.

Yelp
LIFE CHANGING CUSINE. We tried a few dishes, but the star of the show was the oxtail! The plate was a little pricey but absolutely worth it! Please please try it. It will change your life. I'm not being dramatic. Thank you Yuca crew for adding to our Miami experience!
google avatar

Jeffrey D.

Yelp
Dishonest tourist trap where the servers will try to trick you into upsells without telling you what they will be charging you. It starts with the "Would you like still or sparking water?" upsell scam where they try to sell you $8 dollar bottle of regular old water. And today they tricked us into ordering "drink specials" that were double any other cocktails on the menu. The two drinks were even entered as "open liquor" on the receipt. Completely dishonest. The ceviche is good but everything else is bland food that you can find at any takeout. Horrible, dishonest servers. BUYER BEWARE.

Yelp
Highly recommend! So delicious! Nice atmosphere! I'd been at a conference and made some new acquaintances, and we all needed a light meal at the end of the day. I love seafood (I work in ocean conservation and seafood policy, so yeah, give me that delicious sustainably-sourced and nutritious seafood!!!) so a new Miami Beach resident recommended we go to Yuca 105. We were seated immediately and ordered Inca Kolas, which has a wonderful cream soda flavor and a bright yellow coloring. Then my table ordered several appetizers and similar to share. When the food arrived, I was in heaven. We had citrusy ceviche, guava doused salmon with avocado, delicious tuna tartar, and the first octopus dish I've ever liked: roasted octopus maki. It was all amazing, perfect for sharing, and I hope work sends me back to Miami Beach just so I can eat here again! And for three people who split their order three ways at a nice enough restaurant, it was under $40 for each of us including with the addition of a decent tip for the great staff!

Brian M.

Yelp
I can overlooked overpriced food and drink specials, but there was minimal ambience and they try to trick you into double tipping. That's actually borderline fraud. Screw this place. No wonder we were the only diners!
google avatar

Lanier M.

Yelp
Great food and great service. If you are in the south beach area it is worth a stop. The ambiance was great. The paella was fantastic but expensive.
google avatar

Renee U.

Yelp
Pros: love the ambience and the food, yumminess!! We had the ceviche traditional and the crispy fish ceviche and lomo sushi roll.. and spicy mango margarita (good but not great or spicy) Note: automatic tip is included, my spouse didn't look at bill closely and doubled tipped.. So for visitors.. look at your bill

Kristen R.

Yelp
We had lunch at Yuca 105 And everything was totally wonderful. the food was - octopus appetizer, the traditional ceviche and the chinito en la calle dish (a Peruvian rice dish) were all excellent. The pisco sour is the best we've had in a long long time. Everything was recommended by our server who was so nice and knew the menu perfectly. Highly recommend for authentic delish food and drinks near the beach.
google avatar

Marcy Y.

Yelp
Delicious Peruvian Ceviche at Yuca 105 in South Beach Washington Ave. I asked for medium spicy and the ceviche definitely had more than medium spice but it was so delicious even with it being spicier than I usually get. They have some outside patio seating as well as inside seating. They also have some Peruvian based cocktails to pair with your entree. Would be recommended for a romantic or girls night date. Nicholas was our bilingual server and he was real pleasant and checked up on us throughout the meal. Would return again!

Amanda F.

Yelp
The food is next level. OmG please try ceviche 3 ways! It will take you to a whole new world. Our server, Santiago, is the man! Gave us great suggestions as first time guest. Ask for him he's awesome! Oooooh make sure you check out the sangria. amazing !!!! Not overly sweet and ooooh super fruity. The seafood rice.... I don't think I've growled over food before. This is too good. Atmosphere- no matter where you look there's something to see. I personally am in love with the goddess.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Lovely outdoor dining and interior has nice design too! Food was fabulous - especially the ceviche - traditional style! I was all over that since Miami is known for Cuban/Peruvian food and it's perfect for this tropical warm weather! Cocktails were refreshing and went well with the ceviche! Romantic and date style here!
google avatar

Carlson Z.

Yelp
Why doesn't this place have more customers?? They deserve way more hype than some other famous places in SoBe. All the food we tried here tasted fresh and delicious. In fact, their ceviche was the best I had in Miami despite going to a lot of other famous Peruvian places (Cviche 105, Manta, etc.)
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Oh my! Where do I start!?? The space is very pretty, nice lighting, interesting decor pieces and wonderfully lovely staff. This place is a fusion of Cuban and Peruvian cuisine- their menu definitely lives up to it. I had a pisco sour and it was above expectations! We started with the tostones appetizer that included some seafood on it. Some sushi- the lomo option and the other was sort of like a causa. Both were equally very good but my fiancé and I did enjoy the lomo one slightly more ;) we then shared the seafood chaufa which was mouth watering flavorful. Merely thinking about it makes my mouth water!! I absolutely will be back to try some of the other items on the menu. It was a lovely experience. You did good babe! I forgot to mention we also had the mousse dessert which was divine!!! Light but yet so fulfilling. The cookie crumble really complemented the mousse - perfect pair!
google avatar

Paola G.

Yelp
Food was great! We are definitely excited to come back during our next trip. Service was very amicable and ambiance was very pleasant
google avatar

Yelp
Traveling with one vegan and another carnivorous kid can be a challenge but Yuca 105 left everyone (including mom and dad) with a smile. The food was wonderful (our son is still talking about the pork belly three weeks later), the drinks tasty, and our waitress was wonderful.
google avatar

Osmany B.

Yelp
The food was incredible at you got 105. First time I come here and by far it is better than any restaurant that I've been to in the past few years. It is a fresh take on Cuban and Peruvian food gourmet style. We had the Norteña Pork and the octopus. Marcos was our waiter and he was very nice and friendly as you would expect. The place is very comfortable upscale and perfect for dates. The tables are not too close to each other and the music is perfect.
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner last night on the patio at Yuca 105. Our waitress did a great job making recommendations. The pisco/mojito combo drink was a great cocktail. Thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche traditional and octopus appetizer followed by the combo dessert. It was enough for dinner for 2 and we didn't even order an entree. 6 stars for food & service!
google avatar

Michelle C R.

Yelp
the food and drinks were amazing! Josephine took great care of us! I would definitely recommend! their ceviches were so delicious.
google avatar

Bora K.

Yelp
We got El pacto (soup) which was really huge. It included various sea foods! Also we tried seafood ceviche which was fresh and delicious!! The service was super friendly, nice and gorgeous ambiance. We were lucky to find this spot. However, I recommend the business owner that pls make small plate of appetizers with lower price (ceviche and soup). People don't wanna be full with their appetizers.
google avatar

Kayla M.

Yelp
Went for NYE with my friends and we had a great experience! The ambiance, service and food was all top tier! It was a great way to finish the year.
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
What an amazing place!! Our server (Josefina) was very nice and knowledgeable. I really wish we would have taken pictures of the food but we dove in so fast that by the time we realized it was a gone This place is absolutely beautiful but the food was even better.
google avatar

Letese' C.

Yelp
This was one of the BEST meals and experiences I've had in Miami. The decor, the drinks, the food, the service...everything was amazing! My cousin made reservations. We were seated immediately. The decor inside is beautiful! We sat in the dining area that has a view of the kitchen. The seats were decently spaced out, which I appreciated since we're still in a pandemic. We started off the night with the drink special for the night, a Havana old fashioned. It was a nice twist on the classic drink. For dinner I had the Chinito en la Calle 8. It's essentially fried rice packed with seafood. It was a nice size portion and it was so flavorful! There were several different types of seafood in the dish including shrimp, calamari, mussel. I asked for mine to be made a spicy and it just the right amount of kick. I didn't know I needed a Cuban-Peruvian fusion style of fried rice but it's definitely now one of my favorites. Now this is where things got fun! My friend had the lobster ceviche, recommended by our server. She said it was some of the best ceviche she's ever had! My cousin had the arroz con langosta (on the menu it's the arroz con mariscos) and she loved it! For both of the lobster dishes, the servers came to the tables and broke down the lobster for them! They didn't have to anything themselves which was lovely since that whole thing can get messy if you're doing it yourself. For our birthdays, they came over and sang and we had some sort of sorbet dish to celebrate our birthdays and it was pretty good! They did charge us for it though so I would likely just skip that next time. Overall great experience! Gabby, our server was the absolute best! She gave us wonderful recommendations and was very helpful at helping meeting dietary needs. I'm totally going back next time I'm in Miami!
google avatar

Vicky P.

Yelp
The service was amazing and the servers were very attentive. The ambience was nice as well. We really enjoyed the octopus appetizer! It was extremely flavorful and the best bite of the night. The entrees were huge portions and were well cooked. The ropa vieja was a bit salty but everything was tasty. I really enjoyed the Paloma (which was nonalcoholic and made with tequila syrup)
google avatar

Ken F.

Yelp
So good... service great too! Pargo a lo Marcho to die for. Whole fish, shrimp and other seafood in a lobster sauce - OMG. Had ceviche 3 way... kinda regular very good, coconut amazing and habanero (was ok). Would definitely go back again!
google avatar

Donyiel C.

Yelp
Was in town for a weekend bachelorette celebration. We made reservations for our party of 8. We got a great table. The ambiance and decor was nice. Our server was amazing and very attentive. The food was tasty but I found portions a bit small. The drink I had, seasonal sangria was just ok. Overall not a bad experience at all. The service was good. Even the manager came out to check on us.
google avatar

Alyson H.

Yelp
Place was not busy at all, got a table for 4 right away. I didn't care for all of our food choices though. The drinks were great! My husband and I split the chips de guajiro - glad we tried this. The chips and plantains were awesome, and the dips were interesting. We also split the vaca Frita. The steak was overdone, but the lime salsa was good. We won't be rushing back since there are so many other places to try when in the are.
google avatar

Will R.

Yelp
Josefina was absolutely lovely and made our visit so special. Everything in here is divine - had a lovely dinner. The maki roll with the octopus and shrimp was AMAZING and their bartenders know what they are doing. The atmosphere and music were superb. Will come back!
google avatar

Valerie A.

Yelp
We really wanted to love this place. The ambience is off the charts - the place is absolutely gorgeous. You feel like you've stepped into a palace with the chandeliers and the decor. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and recommended dishes for us. Our cocktails and our starter, the octopus, were amazing. Unfortunately our entrees fell flat. My husband's steak was just not good, very tough and almost inedible. My seafood dish looked nice but was just ok. The prices were pretty high for mediocre entrees. After the great start on the service, we thought they might offer something nice because they knew we weren't happy, but they seemed eager for us to leave, which didn't feel so great. A disappointment for sure.
google avatar

Gina A.

Yelp
Cute place with good food and good service... the pisco sour was very good. The ambiance music is repetitive
google avatar

Eee B.

Yelp
This was an appetizer. I can't remember the name but it was 4 different types of ceviche's. All were amazing, my favorite one was the green one! Staff was excellent, very helpful and polite.
google avatar

Myra U.

Yelp
Ok this place is great!! Best yuca and ceviche in Miami City area. I was visiting Miami with my family and my bosses family, just occurred to me inviting them to a bit of Miami culture cuisine wouldn't hurt, came out to be the best decision and food we had all week long in Miami. You must order their trio ceviche and filled/top tostones, so yummy! Their drinks are also great, must have the guava mojito. Service and Ambiance were also very good and nice. However, the reason for rating is the awkward and bad experience of noticing how our shoes all started getting soaked and wet!!! Yes, a storm started, streets outside overflowed and somehow came down like a river into the restaurant!! ....it was definitely an experience we'll never forget, it was definitely embarrassing for us all so as it was out of our control, we decided to laugh about it all and crawl through the seats on our way out. So why the rating? ...the restaurant and/or manager could have at least come out to apologize! A discount for the inconvenience would have also been nice, but none happened, just the awkward uncomfortable feelings and disappointments were left. I will still go again because of their food and ambiance and with hopes next time they have secured any possible ways for water to get in.

Yelp
I'm glad we stopped into YUCA 105 on a whim! It's the brain child of owners of CVI.CHE 105 as well as Y.U.C.A hence YUCA 105! As such, it's Peruvian Cuban fusion. Usually I don't care for fusion restaurants in general But YUCA 105's perspective is SO fresh and interesting. Our sever, Daniel, was fantastic! Made great recommendations and was full of knowledge. Too bad we were too full for the lucuma dessert!! We had the: *CARRETILLO HABANERO CEVICHE (Fried pieces offish and crispy black beans over golden yuca sticks. Topped with yellow pepper cream) -- So this ceviche was unlike any that I've had before because it had both raw and deep fried pieces! It was such a fun textural, temperature contrast and VERY tasty. It came with pieces of yuca as well. It was the best preparation of yuca I've ever had - nice & fluffy! My partner usually does not care for yuca whatsoever and also really enjoyed the yuca. *EL NORTENO (Roasted pork perfectly marinated. Accompanied with green cilantro rice and served over a bed of lima beans and arugula, onion, tomato, radish and cilantro salad) - This dish was SUPER flavorful. This dish almost read Chinese to me - in a good way. The cilantro rice reminded me a bit of fried rice with the carrots & peas.. The pork itself reminded me of Shanghainese braised pork belly - such deep comforting flavors with much umami and savoriness! We also had a couple of cocktails (The Crazy Cuban and Chilcano) & I have no complaints. It wasn't that busy, so I hope to see YUCA 105 around when I visit again! Go check it out folks!!
google avatar

Cory B.

Yelp
First off, they make the best mojito I've ever had and it's not close. The ropas viejas, Lechon Asado and El Norteno were perfect. It was the best Cuban food I've ever had, hands down.
