I like to stop by here late nigth...it's a cool place..you feel the typical LA atmosphere ! Doughnuts are great !

Stopped here for half a dozen donuts and I’m quite impressed! They were a good prize. The selection wasn’t bad either. It wasn’t like outrageous with different types and crazy flavors etc but they had a good variety that left me satisfied. The donuts are really good too. You can taste that they are fresh baked and that’s important! Definitely stop here for a quick breakfast or to bring some donuts to ab event, work etc. it’s worth it!

Not great…. They were fresh… no selection and basic. I barely understood the guy…. Told him 3 times I was ready to order…. They were useless on telling you what is what.Got a scammy vibe.

They constantly "forget" expensive addons and certain items when placed for delivery. Nothing you ever order in person will miss anything, but they take advantage of orders by stealing from people and saving produce. Find a different location.

I ordered two basic donuts and a dozen donut holes; nothing fancy . Not only was I surprised at the fairly high price (close to $10) they were all STALE! I won’t be back.

30 minutes at midnight on a Monday 2 guys . It takes them 30 minutes to make 1 order ahead mine and 1 turkey wrap and egg bagel. And on top of that eye rolls and attitude. If you have a problem doing your job at a place know to be open 24/7 then don't work there!

In a city where the design and vibe of stores and restaurants is tediously curated to an insanely ridiculous degree, it's very nice to go to a place that is comfortable not being fancy or pushing you to *experience* it in some overly branded way. Yum Yum is comfortable being what it is, not dictating what you should feel about it, and not fake, but clean with very friendly people and fresh donuts and coffee. Exactly as it should be.

Woop Yum Yum coming thru with donuts at all hours of the day. God bless anyone who works here at night, I'm sure there's stories on a daily basis. Always a good selection and the calories are on the menu. They have lunch too which I'd get if there weren't so many great food options in this area. So I got a donut while I was waiting for another place to eat actual lunch. What can I say. Have to write a review for my people. I'm sure at least one person reads this. Mostly I just need a donut.

A business's best asset is its employee who follows under the lead of the manager who is in charge and when the manager fails to guide their employee that manager fails and so does the business. I believe they only want Mexican people to come to this location I've never seen any other ethnic group work here. So I came to this location for the first time although I've past this location many times and was stop at the red light and would glance inside often see the workers inside along with customer so any way's I went to this particular location724 Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038 to purchase donuts and just expecting nice normal customer service on 06/05/2024 at approximately 10:15am. However what I was met with was employee's who perpetuate system and bold in your face racism which was really weird to see because the employee at this particular location are Mexican decent with brown skin again weird LOL. when I was there the Mexican female employee kept saying Negro which is Spanish for black I did not buy anything black so I'm sure they were referring to my skin color although I'm a fair skin African American. I believe that the employee at this location believe that they own the business and can treat customers anyway they want. The employee at this particular location act more like juvenile delinquents who refuse to grow up and become adults. Grade: F This review is subject to change once behaviors change I will keep you updated because I do plan to go back.

Family owned and operated. I love croissants with ham, bacon and cheese. Pastrami bagels is top choice too.

We didn't have any donuts but their sandwiches are outstanding. They are served on bagels instead of regular bread and the ham sandwich I got was very good. We ordered on the app and walked about a block and our order was ready Definitely recommended and I would come back

Came inside, one customer in front of me. They squashed a cockroach and didn't bat an eye. The guy in the front had crumbs on his mouth, and two other workers were sitting on another table kissing eachother with their aprons on. I don't think it was really clean, and I couldn't enjoy my sandwich the guy had just made.

I went to Yum Yum Donuts on a Wednesday night for a snack and picked out 2 Jalapeño croissants that had some meat in it that was very delicious. I also ordered six cream puffs. The total was $13 and something. I really liked what I picked out but I think their could be more of a donut selection. I mean it is called Yum Yum Donuts!

The sandwich that wasn't prepared with cleanliness was fowl with dark crude like Grease simulator exactly like that of striking oil darkened gummy texture treated me as some dumping vomited I was giving done by psychedelics there came bream and orange puke pacers that fused up giving me visions of creating Americans

Just a basic spot if you're trying to pick up a quick breakfast or baked goods. Nothing particularly trendy about it. My donut was good though! Clean spot and no wait.

This place I will NOT recommend. The staff is rude unprofessional and snappy. I understand people are going through so much but to take it out on their customers is not right. I went there to order a sandwich and a coffee and was yelled at by the guy in the back for no apparent reason. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. FIND A Winchells donuts or another YUM YUM. BUT THIS PLACE IN PARTICULAR I has no manners or professionalism.

I work at the Starbucks down the street and come here for breakfast I ordered online today and showed my receipt even told her my order and she was giving me such a hard time as if she didn't believe it was mine. Also the button for ham egg and cheese doesn't work for the online order so I ordered egg and cheese add meat. And put on the instructions it isn't working and to add ham because it still chargers and charges more then ordering just the sandwich Editing this review because I started eating my food and it's missing the avocado I paid for and can't even call because she's the only one there and don't want to deal with her attitude. Second update my co workers bagel came with no bacon even tho it charged and we paid 9$ also no wheat bagels and didn't let us know and apparently no more avocado so I paid almost 2$ for avocado and didn't even get a refund or offered anything for a dollar at least to make it up This whole order was a mess today I thought ordering online was easy.

What could be better than a donut shop located right next to two haute cuisine restaurants? A 24-hour donut shop! This place has a very nice selection of traditional Mexican pastries and American doughnuts.

I stopped by on a gloomy Tuesday for a croissant breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. I've stopped here before and it's always been fine. However today, everything was better. This time it was a young fellow who made my croissant sandwich, and it was awesome! The iced coffee was also on point. Maybe I'll make it a habit to stop by on Tuesdays from now on. Parking is fine and the restaurant was clean.

Very soft 3 stars. They are the quality of donuts you can probably get at Ralph's or Vons bakery. I saw some mini frosted donuts that looked good. See my pic. Not sure how they taste. They had quite a few donuts out, but none were really fresh looking. I won't be back, but if you must have a donut, I guess it's barely OK. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there. They also have off street parking and three spaces in the lot just for Yum Yum Donuts. I would not call their donuts "Yum Yum," or even "Yum." I would maybe call them, "hmmm."

I was not sold on the reviews, but when my colleague said they make a decent pastrami bagel combo and he offered to buy this time around I said sure let me try it out. Man... I wish I had taken a picture because this was really good. The combo comes with a drink of your choice, a donut and the sandwich. I am really content.

A good quick late night snack esp since it's 24/7. but the Queso (Cheese) bread was my personal favorite. It was topped with sesame seeds for a crunchy texture but the inside was so spongy, soft and fluffy. It has a slight flavor of cheese but overall, expect a sweeter sponge cake type of taste. I like this because it wasn't too sweet like sugar coated donuts. It was the owners personal favorite and I'd love to come back just for that. It was however about $2-3 for a tiny loaf. My friend got the cinnamon donut, ham and cheese croissant and chocolate donut with sprinkles and loved it all. Honestly you can never go wrong with any of these desserts. The owner will heat up your pastry if you ask him to throw it in the oven too! Parking was not a problem and they even have parking spaces designated for donut customers.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they sell conchas and other Mexican pastries! The concha tasted pretty close to what you find in a Mexican bakery! For this reason alone I woulld return to this location!

Absolutely nothing to be wowed about. My sister and I had a sweet tooth and decided to stop by late at night place was empty. Only reason why I'd ever think about going back is if it was super late and all other options were closed.

The new veg bagel has avocado, salad vegetables and salad dressing. Maybe, thousand island. So, it lacks cream cheese and cheese. It was just an okay and filling but not satisfying alone. Good thing I ordered Meal Deal.

Came to pick up two separate orders. Guy didn't have a receipt for each order and yelled at me for asking for a receipt. I hope donut grease splashed on his face and gives him horrific burns that scare away his wife and kids. Fire this man lmao

I'm not much of a donut type of person, but let me tell you a little about their bagel and croissant sandwiches, both hot or cold sandwiches....delicious! This is my go to place for breakfast. The employees are great and provide outstanding customer service.

Ok, so I used to work right next door to this Yum Yum location back in 1989! It's been at this location for a looooong time. The donuts are just good. Fresh and good. and it was my pleasure to go back there after decades and see that it;s still standing and they are still making delicious donuts and pasteries. Yasssss!

Usually I wouldn't post a bad review, or a review in general but cmon now today was just a rough. It was a disaster going in there (and I understand training is rough, but please don't do training during rush hour). Now, the worst part is having a sandwich WITH HAIR! No one there wears hair nets?? Please keep your food environment sanitary, no one likes a side of hair with their food. I spend $8 for nothing

I had never had Yum Yum doughnuts before, this was my first time. We went in late at night, around 10 pm, looking for doughnuts to have in the morning. I was surprised at the selection for that time of night. Overall they were they pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either. Would eat there again if I was ever in the area.

Yum Yum Donuts is like a 7-11 without lottery tickets, porn magazines, or beer and cigarettes, but with a vastly superior selection of unhealthy, sugary pastries. -- Not that there's anything wrong with that. Open 24/7, Yum Yum makes itself available whenever you've got that craving for a bear claw at three in the morning, or are so sleepy-hungry (*cough* wasted) that you've forgotten your disdain for apple fritters. Arrive at five in the morning for the best, freshest possible selection, as this is when they're busiest baking in the back (that's a lot of alliterative Bs! Thankfully they've earned an 'A' from the Health Department). The donuts themselves are nothing spectacular -- the standard offerings of plain, iced, maple logs, and jelly-filled nuclear calorie bombs share bakery case space with bottled juice, canned soda, and some rather untrustworthy-looking tuna sandwiches. The indifferent coffee is served in office breakroom style carafes, but it's better than most hungover people can make at home. Fountain soda is on the menu, too, because a Pepsi with a red-jelly donut is the most deliciously natural breakfast combination in the world. Shhh! Don't tell your mother what you've been eating. You're grown up now, honey.

This isn't a real donut shop. It's a donut shop in a movie shot by Guy Ritchie, Quentin Tarantino, or Robert Rodriguez. Everything is a cliche. The lighting is brash and 1.21 gigawatts. The linoleum is tired. The cashier is female, bored, but nice enough for the task at hand. It's late. You're passing. You realize that life would be better with a big-ass bear claw and a 64 oz. coffee in your Chevy Malibu. So you stop in. You're in and out fast. The donuts are decent. The coffee is decent. But it's convenient, it's just what it is, and that'll get 'er done tonight...

I love that they have a selection of "mini" donuts. I like donuts but just a little taste... a large donut is too much. These little minis are adorable and I like my food to be cute. Of course the bright pink ones are clearly a color not found in nature, but still they're good. I find their donuts have a little bit of a "crunch" which is my favorite part. I do think that at times the coffee is too hot. I want to drink my coffee immediately - I need it right away! So coffee served at a scorching temp and requiring a cool down is something I don't enjoy. Easy parking and convenient location - relatively easy in and out. Always fast and friendly service.

I am so happy that i stoped by this place to get a turkey bagel. They sure know how to make a good,tasty sandwich. Their veriety of donuts are endless. Customer service is great and they work super speedy ,which is great because there wont be any line. I will come back soon!

My 3 star is only for the customer service that we have in the morning, there is a young heavy set gal that she has an attitude, man looks like she is unhappy working there, zero customer service of this girl, the rest of the crew is really nice. Get her some training Thanks

Too bad zero stars is not an option! This was the worst YUM YUM donut franchise ever! I have been eating at YUM YUM's for over 13 years. I visited this location after having lunch on the same block for my birthday. I thought I would treat myself to a cake donut with chocolate and nuts, my favorite. Well I was sadly disappointed. The donut was disgustingly hard, tasted like grease and was just wrong! I also got some donut holes and threw them all way. My birthday treat was ruined! NEVER AGAIN!

lets get things straight for the less than 4 star reviews. Its Yum Yum donuts, its not a gourmet donut. These are your basic run of the mil donuts. Better than a super market and not as good as a real bakery. The real gem here is they make really good bagel sandwiches for $4.99. Under $5.00 for a great sandwich packed with meat, that's a deal. They have all kinds of sandwiches, the breakfast ones are the best. The parking is sooo easy in a virtually empty lot during the day. This is a great place to make a quick stop when there is not enough time for a sit down lunch in your day.

For me, it's all about the bagel sandwiches here called Xx-treme Melts. The combo with chips (or donut) and a drink is under $6 and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. Everyone who works here during the day is really friendly and courteous. They are also quick to get your order going! It's no surprise why they have so many regulars hanging out. And by regulars, it's not the tranny hookers that hang out at Donut Time up the street. There's occasionally a homeless man lying down out front, but he's harmless and never asks for money. The melts at this place are out of this world! Give them a try. I always get mine with chipotle mayo which gives it a kick without being too spicy. If you really like hot, they have jalapeño kettle chips. They also have fresh-squeezed juice for sale and pretty decent coffee. At lunch, I usually just go with a fountain drink and donut with my bagel. The donuts are what you'd expect, better than Dunkin, but not as good as Krispy Kreme or some mom and pop shops. However, they always taste fresh. The other positive is that there's plenty of parking and the shop is kept clean. Kudos for hand sanitizer right next to the register! Their donuts might be average, but I'm all about the bagels anyway. Keep up the good work! You definitely have a neighborhood regular now.

This place have very mediocre donuts and food but it's not bad if you're just looking for a quick fix of food/desserts. When I went last time to get a few donuts they were out of packaged milk.... which is a bit disappointing for a donut shop. It's what you what expect from a chain donut place... very mediocre but a lot of variety.

Between three people, this was our order: Devil's food donut Old fashioned Oreo donut Old fashioned chocolate iced donut Plain glazed donut Plain chocolate iced donut Glazed cake donut Burrito with bacon, egg, bean, & cheese Blueberry cake donut Onion bagel with ham, egg, & cheese I would strongly recommend you order the Old fashioned Oreo donut. It was tried by everyone and we roundly agreed it was the highlight. When you think what an Oreo donut should taste like, this is what you are thinking about. I would strongly recommend against ordering a Burrito or anything with eggs, as they have a pitcher of egg mixture and simply microwave everything. The Burrito especially was disgusting because the beans were ice cold--which begs the classic question, "What the f*ck?" Because if it's just microwaved, how do you mess up timing the microwave? Everything else I would say only get it if you really needed it and were in a hurry and there wasn't a cheaper option around.

I saw a few reviews that had me scared. So for that reason I wanted to give this store some props. I got delivery from there this morning. So, whoever is working the shift now 1/18/21 between 1130a-12:30p did a great job. I got a Turkey, bacon, avocado bagel. My Turkey was warm, the bacon was crispy, and the avocado was fresh and green! It tasted just how I wanted it to taste. I also got some donuts. Great assortment! So today, the staff at yumyum gets 5 stars from me!

Yum Yum indeed. Thanks to this spot, I was only about 80% hungover this morning after our adventures last night. Nothing like a chocolate covered old fashioned bar to soak up the bourbon. Yes. *hiccup*

This place is literally three doors down from my office and I go there once a week. I used to love it. Now, I hate it. Don't get me wrong. The donuts are fresh. The giant 32oz drink for .70 cents is a value. But they FIRED the ENTIRE ORIGINAL STAFF. Not sure what happened. One day, the cheerful, smiling latina girls that worked the place were there.. doling out coffee, toasting up garlic bialis, making my morning bright. The next, they were gone. The new staff DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH. AT ALL. NOT A BIT. I went in there and ordered a large coffee, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, lettuce, and tomato, and a chocolate donut. I got a large coke, a plain bagel with cream cheese (no lettuce, no tomato) and a coconut donut. Two days later I went in and took PAINS to explain what I wanted... this time, I got iced tea instead of diet coke and some weird pound cake thing... but I caught it before leaving. It only took me 10 minutes more to explain what was wrong with the $3 order. To a committee of three people, all who seemed to just stare at me while I waved my hands around and pointed aimlessly at what I got and what I wanted instead. I give up. Hell, I shouldn't be eating the carbs anyway. The Yum Yum donut people can hire whoever they want, and I'm all for employing minorities who may have language difficulties in positions where those language problems aren't an issue. When my parents came to America they had a hard time with the language too. But if the person who speaks to your customers actually can't speak to them in a familiar language or understand what they are ordering, you have a problem.

Just a quick stop to YUM YUM on my way to work and I have my sugar rush to get me through the first part of my day. I stop here once in a while and I order either a chocolate donut w/ peanuts or old fashioned chocolate donuts. Thats my order everytime! Prices are cheap and the donuts are fresh and tasty....plus their open 24hrs if any of you have those late night "munchies"!

I've been coming here for about 20 years. It's not a fancy trendy spot by any means, but the donuts are yum yum ;-) the coffee is hot and strong and the parking is plentiful.

These donuts are my jam. We're talking two specific kinds: The glazed, and the glazed with the hard round sprinkles on them. I can't speak for the rest of the donuts, although I am sure they are equally yumptious. 24 hours a day, but they are obviously are best in the morning. But when you're buying donuts at 1am, you don't always have the most discriminating palate.

I am shocked this place is not reviewed up. It's delicious. After seeing The infamous Trisha Paytas Video where she muckbangs the shit out of a box of these plain donuts with chocolate glaze I had to try it for myself. God they are good. The donuts are doughy and chewy and fresh. The chocolate glaze is not overly heavy with just a touch of chocolate finish. I could eat one per day and not get tired of it. I'm not a donut person at all. I hate California donuts and sk just doesn't cut it on donuts. Don't like Dunkin' Donuts. Okay maybe this is just not a donut. It's more of a standalone dessert. The way they make them is so hard to describe. Just writing this review makes me super duper cravey for one right now. They are open 24 hours. They also may amazing stunning delicious croissant turkey avocado sandwiches.

Solid effort when I was hung TF over and needed donuts and coffee, stat. Was heading west on Melrose, and, thanks to the Yelp iPhone app found this gem of a place. And it's not quite there yet, but it has potential. The nearest Krispy Kreme to my home does not have my all-time favorite donut, the sugar-coated strawberry filled, but YYD sure as hell did. The first one I had was outstanding. The other two the lady grabbed had failed to be filled with, uh, filling. Disappointing, but I wasn't hungry anymore- so it did the job. The coffee was decent, and I usually take it black, but I was in a hurry so looked for the half and half to cool it down. Dispenser was empty. Hmm. And in checking out of my hotel earlier I had stuffed some leftover In-N-Out napkins in my pocket and miraculously kept them there so the lack of napkins in plain view here was negligible. Day saved. Let's review: Fix the little things. Keep the coffee additives stocked. Napkins, possiblymaybe. And make sure you're filling those "filled donuts." Besides that, the prices are great and the cashier friendly. You've got your work cut out for you, Yum Yum, and I can't wait to see how you've improved the next time. And also coming to my town would be an improvement. For my life.

The donuts over all were okay, the dough was soft and tasty. The jelly was sweet and complimented the dough well, when it wasn't excessive (more on this later). Unfortunately this is where the good points stops. While there I ordered my usual from a donut shop. 1 glaze, 1 jelly, and a coffee (iced in this case). The actual glazing on the donuts was flaky and sticky. As soon as you pick up a donut and bite it, the glaze breaks into a hundred little pieces and your fingers become a sticky mess. This is a sign that the glaze and donuts aren't as fresh as they should. Next the jelly. The glaze had the same issue, another problem was that the jelly was just too overwhelming. The baker jammed to much jelly into the donut and upon biting into it, the jelly overwhelms and overpowers the donut. When you get to the point that the donut is in equilibrium with the jelly, it tastes much better. Finally the iced coffee. This was possibly one of the worst iced coffees I've had. It tasted old, the hazelnut flavor was not apparent, and the amount of ice was insane. Now, over all these problems would, in my opinion, net the place a 3 star rating. So why did I give it a 1 star? It was due to there bathroom policy. They don't allow customers to use. I had very sticky fingers as a result of the donuts, and all they had to offer was some hand sanitizer. This was unacceptable. The sanitizer helped, the same way that kicking your shoes before stepping into a car after being in the snow helps. You will always have some stuff left and will still need to wash your hands. The sanitizer just made my hands coated in a layer of sanitizer and glaze mixture. It wasn't until I got back to my friends house and washed my hands that I finally felt clean. The entire walk back was uncomfortable and annoyance. Especially since the problem could have been fixed had they allowed customers to use a sink of some sort in order to wash their hands. I could only imagine if I had to drive with those hands, my steering wheel would never be clean again. Overall, horrible glaze, excessive jelly, mediocre iced coffee, and no way to actually wash my hands leads to a 1 star rating for this establishment.

I was not overly thrilled. The buttermilk glazed donut was not good had a weird flavor. My son ordered a French vanilla caramel chillada. It was so sweet he didn't even drink it. Talk about a diabetic coma. The regular coffee tasted really good. My son liked his donut holes. The coffee area was dirty but I love that they had French vanilla creamer out.

I did a donut run at 11-12 p.m. on a weeknight. There were shlumpy high school kids holding hands in front of me and the clerk was checking out the ass of one of them. He looked tired and dirty and a bit angry to be there. He sold me an apple and blueberry fritter, and while he was taking the order of the sweet transvestite transexual behind me I tore off a piece of the blueberry, greedy monkey that I am. I've had one fritter, once, at some point, maybe at a Dunkin Donuts in Albuquerque, that was as good, but eating this made me hallucinate choirboys singing the background (it is right across the street from Christ the King church so maybe, but not at that hour). I bought two more fritters for my man and ran out of there with my booty (and my booty). Of course, I give points to the heaven that are the fritters they make, as well as the skeevy open 24-hour weirdo vibe they draw. I went back one other time and the fritters were just as good. You need to go there.

Never again! I always stop by here at this yum yum to buy my plain bagel with cream cheese as always so ANA always always Has a little attitude but today her attitude got even worse. So when I asked for my money back she respond was "oh I don't know how to do tthat" you need to wait so she had me waiting for like 5 miinutes then she came back and gave me my money back so when I told her why u had me waiting she laughed ! This is so unprofessional of her . So manager,, supervisor or owner of this yum yum please talk to her maybe she need a different schedule or .....lol
