Yumbii @ Midtown

Yumbii has been on my list for awhile…Nestled near the Beltline and a stone’s throw away from Piedmont Park, it’s the perfect stop to refuel on some deliciousness! Their food didn’t stand a chance with me, as I ate EVERY SINGLE perfectly crisp and sesame seasoned French fry & both tacos (buttermilk fried chicken & Asian rib eye beef)! Prices are reasonable and portions are generous, so you will not leave here hungry. And with so many taco choices & combo options, how do you choose?! + Staff is friendly. Seem to love their jobs. Yes....that really makes a difference w/your food. + Hands down, these just might be on my top 5 for best fries in Atlanta! I’ll confirm & post more pics once I enjoy them again in the near future! And enjoy them I did….twice in a row thus far😋

I went here on Saturday with my husband. We wanted to try something new and close to where we were. The menu looked different so we said let's try it. Based on the reviews I read, we decided to try the beef cheesesteak with fries. We also got the 3 taco and a drink meal. The meal comes with a canned, 12 oz drink. The taco meal does not come with a side. I wanted to try the corn also because I read good things about it. The panko shrimp taco was a miss. The beef Taco and cheesesteak was ok. Not at all what I pictured when words like "well seasoned beef" were in the reviews. The fries tasted just like sesame seed oil with a hint of sweet. The fried chicken taco was good. The corn was the best thing we ate. If you enjoy Asian food and want to try something new, you should try them out. Unfortunately, for me, this is not a place I would visit again. They do sell alcohol if you want to get a drink. If you like "Mexican" food with an Asian twist then you'll love this spot.

Yumbii absolutely delivers—both the food and the staff are top-notch. The tacos are fresh and flavorful, but the real star is the Korean cheesesteak. Easily one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Incredible flavors and consistently great service. Highly recommend stopping by!

The KBBQ chicken taco tasted just like my fav korean dish, spicy Dak-bokkeum-tang in taco form, and the ribeye taco was packed with flavor. Loved the honey sriracha wings and sesame fries too. Great location right by the Beltline trails—perfect for grabbing a bite and going for a walk after. seems enough parking since its inside the trader joe's.

Sesame fries are craveable! I’m still enjoying the food since I over ordered. Love every bite of chips and queso. I got take-out and called ahead with a “sleeping child” concern and a team member brought my order to my vehicle. Ever grateful for delicious food and excellent service. Great transition from food truck to restaurant. It’s a local’s favorite!

Update: was told the general manager would call me the following morning about the refund when they took the food back. Manager never called so I reached out the following afternoon and was told they would not be in at ALL today. Wanted tacos, passed several other locations to come here and this was my first impression. I ordered a combo, queso and marg. They were out of my taco selections so I made a new one. I got my marg and good to go. Guy told me he had no lids and handed me an open cup to carry despite having groceries, a work bag and now a take out order….. then he immediately turned around and made the next sit down customer a cup of water with a lid. Lastly I asked if my chips were already in the bag because It was wrapped so tight I couldn’t imagine they were and guess what? The queso does NOT automatically come with instead of charging me the difference for an appetizer vs side, they tried to sell me the chips for an additional $2.17 which is MORE expensive than the app. Then when I asked for a refund for queso (because we can agree this is ridiculous), I was told I would have to speak to a manager tomorrow or I could just give it back (no refund) mind you…..this was NOT a heated convo so they were dead serious that this is how they run things. In the end, I agreed to a refund for the whole meal instead of just the queso and atp throwing in a small bag of chips after strong miscommunication would’ve been worth no losing the full $30 sale. I left after 20 mins empty handed and forced to make alternative dinner plans on a Sunday night smh. I would never recommend this place to anyone else. One because I would never eat somewhere that chips don’t automatically come with queso/guacamole and two a place that can take your money, but not refund it. Worse business on the beltline and/or in midtown

The food I order wasn't up to the same quality as the other locations. The churros were not fresh. They had no powered sugar and the caramel sauce was not appealing or good.. The nachos were good though. I've visited other locations that killed both in such a positive way but mid town was a miss on my first go round.

Me and my partner went here today for lunch. This was a different location than the one I previously went to. Everything was delicious and I loved the setup. I love the fries with queso. The Sriracha wings were so good!

Tasty and healthy! We got 3 tacos, a bowl, and chips and guacamole. I don't know what they put in their guacamole but it's insanely good. Service was fast and friendly.

I literally love Yumbii. I've tried their food truck and other location off of peachtree and it is always just my favorite. They never miss! We did a to go order and the order was ready on time and hot and it did taste just as good to do as it did in person. We got a variety of tacos a quesadilla the sriracha queso and sesame fries. All the food was great. I cannot rave about yumbii enough! A must try

Yumbii is now one of my all time top spots in Atlanta. The wings were good, the fries lived up to and surpassed the hype, and the burritos are absolutely fantastic. Make sure you get the ribeye in your burrito! We loved it so much we came back the next day to try more!

Popped in during their discount margarita window and I'm obsessed. It was HOT walking the belt line and their sign for $5 margaritas was like a siren call. The bartender was so sweet (with I could remember her name) and she recommended her fav is the passion fruit so I got that frozen and my friend got a frozen mango. We both loved our drinks and wished we didn't have other plans to order more. Would definitely come back! I want to try more margarita flavors and the food looked good from what I saw.

Gosh I love Yumbii and loved their food truck for years so I'm so glad they opened a location in Midtown! Yumbii shares a parking lot with the Midtown Trader Joes and a few other restaurants. The parking is free but the lot gets super full sometimes so beware. This yumbii does dine-in service and counter service which is odd because even if you wanted to do counter service, they ask you to sit down? I mean it doesn't make a lot of sense because the only 'service' you get is them taking your order and bringing out food. Definitely could just be counter service imo. Food here always hits. From the tacos to quesadillas or churros, I've really loved everything I've gotten here. The fries are a MUST TRY and I get them every time here. The queso for me is below mid so can't recommend that, but the lowkey easy vibe here and prices make this an easy dinner place for us!

I've been a fan of Yumbi for years. I remember going to their food truck 15 years ago, then Hancook off of Howell Mill, their now closed down location off of Juniper (Takorea), then their location in Tocco Hills. I got to give it to them they are so darn consistent no matter where you go. Even the sweet tea tastes the same, it's incredibly strong. That's how I like it! I love the Yumbi menu so I was overjoyed to get one closer to me. Their fries are some of the best in the city, so crunchy and the spices are wonderful. The beef is the only way to go, it is seasoned so well and scrumptious with every bite. The best thing on the menu is the beef nachos, easily my favorite in the city, if you are into Korean flavors you will love this. I had the Philly and my wife had the burrito. All very solid. Their queso is perfect. I'm a big fan of the space, wonderful for a fast casual sit down experience. It's right off the beltline and they have plenty of outdoor seating. Food came out at a reasonable time. We will definitely be coming back here for our Yumbi fix!

Completely unassuming and out-of-left-field, I ended up having some of the best fast casual I've had in recent memory at Yumbii on my recent visit. We stopped in for a quick drink and snack before catching a movie on a weeknight, and were immediately impressed by this spot's cheerful interior, friendly staff, and expansive patio right off the beltline. We shared a pitcher of surprisingly fresh and homemade margs, before partaking in their delicious queso and absolutely outstanding Korean fried cauliflower. All served quick and easy, it was a perfect quick happy hour that really hit the spot. I can't wait to spend all summer at this new Midtown staple.

Food is good for quick bites and a good bar . The ambience look dope and is literally Right on of the belt-line. Will frequent here over the summer for sure! Also The bar service is insanely fast and competent . Shout out to Violet and MiMi! Those girls Rock!

Tried this place for the first time via DoorDash and it was not impressed. Might different if going in person. The rice in my burrito was hard which made it hard to eat. The sesame fries were also extremely salty and I couldn't even finish them. The texture was good but the flavor was off. Probably won't go back.

This food was mediocre at its best and nasty! I ordered the steak quesadilla, which was disgusting! It was sweet. Maybe it was some type of barbecue meat used, but it was awful. I had the Sriracha queso, which could have been good if it didn't have big clumps of old cheese in it. The salsa was the most bland salsa I have ever tasted. No salt or flavor whatsoever. The chips were fine. $18 for food I trashed is just awful. The customer service wasn't bad, but the guy was definitely not a people person. Sounded and acted tired at 3pm during the day. Cute little place, though. That's my 1 and done!

Cute vibe , large and spacious and perfect location. They seem a bit understaffed but I think that's just post COVID. It was clean and I would recommend anyone try. Also Yumbii is good always. Great food. I got the buttermilk taco and panko fish taco. Seasame fries are always a win

Tucked at the back of the new little hallway near Trader Joe's you wouldn't know this was here if you don't get regular facials at Heyday. Everything we had was fresh and yummy. The margarita was a little light on the tequila, but the crazy delicious fries made up for it. The cavernous ambiance inside is a little strange, but we sat outside with a view of the overcrowded Beltline on a Saturday. Prices seem average, would definitely go back for a quick and easy lunch or dinner.

Came here after a stroll on the beltline and definitely recommend this as a quick bite! Received recommendation from one of the staff and I can say I was pleasantly surprised! The buttermilk fried chicken exceeded my expectations and the pinko had just the right sauces to make it a flavorful bite. It did not take long after ordering to receive my nachos while waiting for my tacos. Nachos were as expected. Overall, I had a good experience

This place is terrible! It's not good at all. Don't waste your coins. When I walked in there was no smell of food cooking so that was the first red flag. Got the 3 for $15 and got the Korean bbq, spicy pulled pork, and buffalo chicken and they were all nasty. Never again. Service was okay.

IMPROVE EVERYTHING ! There are too many restaurants for this place to succeed. Service, good and the vibe are all just wrong.

What a gem in midtown! Stopped in for just a break from the world, and stayed for hours. The nachos and tacos are on point! And the sauces are the shit!!! The service was some of the best in Atlanta, which is saying a lot for Atlanta! Chloe and Voilet are the best and wonderfully attentive with service and suggestions!

Food was not cooked fresh. A ton of sauce on my tacos. I like Druid hills rd Yumbii better.

This is my favorite place to eat. The staff is very kind and the food is phenomenonal. You cannot go wrong the seasome fries. My favorite is to sub the nachos with sesame fries and add their Nashville hot chicken! Big portion sizes for the price.

We have eaten at the Yumbii location at Toco Hills in Atlanta several times and have always enjoyed the food and service. But our service experience on 11/03/2023 at the new Midtown Atlanta location was unacceptable. Our delivered order was both substantially wrong and incomplete, and the food runner seemed unable to comprehend or remedy the shortcomings. We don't know whether the problem was the order-taker, the kitchen, or the mechanism for transmitting orders to the kitchen, but we will not be going back. We observed that the same thing seemed to be happening with at least some other customers. On the plus-side, the food was good and was consistent with what we have eaten at the Toco Hills location.
