Yelp
I went for the winter restaurant week menu. This is $30 per person & each person picked one item from each course.
What we got:
Starters: They have six options to choose from and a variety of good choices.
Edamame - You can pick from regular or spicy. We went spicy and yes it did have a quite a kick! They toss it in a spicy chili sauce which I really enjoyed. If you like spicy this is for you - if not go with the regular which is steamed & finished w/ a touch of salt.
Gyoza - Fried Japanese pork dumplings. These were really crispy on the outside and delicious. They came with a side of soy for your dipping pleasure! These were so yummy!
The Entrée part of the menu is really awesome. I love sushi so that's what we decided on, but they also had Beef & Salmon Teriyaki and Chicken Udon Noodles for the non-sushi eaters. With 8 options to choose from we had our server help us narrow it down.
Marianne Roll - This was definitely the favorite! Made w/ shrimp tempura, snow crab, jalapeno, cilantro, avocado, tempura flakes, wrapped in soy paper & topped w/ honeymoon & eel sauce. This came with 10 pieces. I really liked this roll!
California roll & spicy Tuna Role - This option comes with two rolls.
* California: Snow crab, avocado, masago, and cucumber, topped with sesame seeds - 8 pieces
* Spicy Tuna Roll - Spicy yellowfin tuna, gobo, lettuce, cucumber, and avocado - 6 pieces
The dessert menu gave various choices of Mochi or Ice Cream! I absolutely love Mochi, so we shared green tea and mango. If you want, you can also get chocolate drizzle over these!
This was a great restaurant week experience & the service was awesome. Outside of the restaurant week menu we did order a couple of drinks including the Tokyo 75 - a play on the French 75 with sparking sake. They have tons of cocktails, sake, Japanese Whisky, and wine to choose from! Definitely add them to your restaurant week list & make a reservation soon
