"Family-owned Yumi Yogurt first opened in San Mateo in 1985, offering relatively healthier froyo with fewer calories and less sugar than other frozen treats. Now, in the Santa Clara location, they’re carrying out that same mission with simple, silky frozen yogurt offerings in flavors that change daily. The chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, and cookie-based flavors are usually in high demand, and customers love the generous portion sizes. But for those who are looking for something sweet with a different mouthfeel, Yumi Yogurt also serves traditional ice cream scoops, as well as an assortment of drinks." - Cathy Park

Google
The frozen yogurt here really is the best! You get so much for what you pay, and there's always a large variety of flavors to choose from. Staff is helpful and friendly too! There isn't much seating inside the yogurt shop, so be prepared to get to go or eat while standing if needed, but it's so worth it!

Google
Got some wow cow yogurt and it tastes great. Reminds me of my creami. It was pretty chill close to closing; but a good spot to get low calorie ice cream/ frozen yogurt. If my sister ever visits me I will bring her here. It was $7 for a small; I wish there was a smaller size. They also have these dipped cones with colors on them I want to try someday.

Zayra

Google
Great value for the size, but the experience falls short. You can’t sample the frozen yogurt flavors, and many of them miss the mark. It would be better to offer more classic, familiar options instead of so many unusual ones.

Google
This shop has good ratings - maybe it is better for yogurt but absolutely no-no for boba tea. We had our worst bay area boba from here. We ordered mango sunshine and mango strawberry and they were straight out just sugar syrup with bad taste

Abdullah Al-Shehabi

Google
Came here hoping for frozen yogurt, i got soft serve ice cream, and it was not good. No sampling allowed, the vibe is depressing and the cleanliness is also 1/5. Would not recommend. 40 years in business apparently, but has no idea how to stay relevant?

Google
The atmosphere and service at the establishment are commendable. However, there is an issue that the company needs to address. When I ordered two scoops of ice cream, they were placed in a small cup. Upon requesting a larger cup, I was informed by the employee that they were unable to accommodate my request due to their boss's instructions. While I understand the desire to minimize costs, this resulted in a lack of space for my toppings. As shown in the attached picture, the employee provided me with a cup lid to hold my ice cream, causing my toppings to spill onto it. In contrast, my daughter's two scoops were served in a larger cup, which seemed inconsistent. Furthermore, the total cost amounted to $19, which is excessive considering that I could have obtained four scoops in a larger cup for a lower price at Baskin Robins. This situation is unacceptable, and we will be taking our business elsewhere to find a place that prioritizes customer satisfaction.

Google
Ran out of Vanilla ice cream!!! Oh, and the online menu, with their address, Store name, and directions, well that's not "them", and they're not interested in fixing it. The portions were ridiculously small... Not the same 'ol Yumi ....we won't be back.

Amanda Isabella Dunlap

Google
Hannah was rude touched her shoes to tie them and continue serving without washing her hands…was unhappy when I requested she do so. Adam was enthusiastic but messy wrapping our order. It was an underwhelming bad experience. Menu changed and we miss strawberry but business is business.

Cyndi K.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I've been going here for over 25 years. The quality is unmatched. I get the wow cow ( low sugar) and I never feel guilt eating it. It's so creamy and yummy

Stephanie Z.

Yelp
a disappointing experience we got a berry swirl yogurt and unlike most froyo places, they charge per topping. the yogurt itself was alright, but the strawberry swirl tasted very artificial and we didn't end up finishing it. the portions are big and if you're looking for low calorie options- this can be a great place. however, i'll stick to other froyo shops.

Yelp
I've heard many positive reviews of Yumi Yogurt over the years so I was excited to finally see what the hype is about! It's located right before the Stevens Creek auto mall. They're known for rotating their flavors and only serving tart yogurt on Sundays. What enticed me is they have THREE carbolite froyo flavors on rotation. Great dessert spot for a macro friendly treat! They have boba drinks, froyo, ice cream, milkshakes, and more! Even lactose free desserts. You can find their flavor rotations on their IG page. 4 stars because they don't do samples..which is a turn off for new customers such as myself..they do half and half which is nice in case you're split between two flavors since you can't taste them. It's kinda pricy and not self serve but their servings are very generous. I shared a small with my friend and as you can see it's A LOT. We shared the carbolite peanut butter caramel and the pumpkin cupcake. Both sooo good!!

Quyen H.

Yelp
Cute place to grab a frozen dessert. I was excited to see they offered yogurt and also ice cream options. They don't give samples for the yogurt though so you just gotta imagine haha. But I think any flavors would be great. I really enjoyed the Vanilla flavor. It had a nice and strong vanilla taste. They have some tables indoor and outdoor to sit and enjoy your treat. Would be back soon!

Yelp
3787 Stevens Creek Blvd Ste 102 Santa Clara, CA 95051 Yumi Yogurt @ Santa Clara is serving up frozen yogurt at fair prices. That's right, because it's full service fro-yo with fixed prices. Look around, everything costs more. But the question is, did you enjoy your frozen yogurt or ice cream? Was the service great? Did you like your experience? A Yelp review is a consumer experience. At the junction of Stevens Creek Blvd & Saratoga Ave, you will find a small plaza next to the McDonalds. At night, the beautiful neon glow of Yumi Yogurt will attract your attention. A fellow Yelp Elite told me about this place, but I didn't have time to stop and visit. The other night my job finished up at Kaiser-Santa Clara, and I decided to head over and visit Yumi Yogurt. I love the warm glow of the neon lights. I walked in and waited in line. The menu had plenty of flavor choices. I just went with my old favorite, Chocolate/ Vanilla Swirl. A medium cost $8 with no toppings. The young lady filled up the clear plastic container, and then more and more. She asked "for here or to-go?" You always say to-go. With that answer, she tried to jam a lid on this fro-yo tower and wrap it in plastic sheeting. I told her all that wasn't necessary. The staff were friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. The fro-yo was smooth and creamy with no chalky after taste. It's a huge serving for a medium. $8 seems expensive, but it's not if you compare it to other places. I have reviewed over a dozen fro-yo places in the last 6-8 months, and $8 for a medium (that's over loaded) is actually cheap. The Yumi Yogurt container holds 16-oz. $8.00 / 16 = 50 cents/oz Yogurtland @ Cupertino charges 79 cts per oz. 16 x 79 cts = $12.64 The difference is Yumi Yogurt charges extra for toppings. Yogurtland charges my weight for everything in the cup. It really depends on what you like. I just want the fro-yo with no toppings, and good customer service. So a place like Yumi Yogurt is a good choice for me. I'll be back to try other flavors. Free parking in lot.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday and we were served pretty quickly. I read other reviews of this place and didn't realize these were low cal/ low carb(?) yogurt soft serves! I got the cookies and cream wow cow yogurt and it was pretty creamy. I wish there was more flavor to it (it was pretty light - I could barely tell it was cookies and cream) they do offer smoothies and ice cream as well. The space itself is pretty small with two tables I believe inside. Not super quiet, but it's a good place to get a quick cold treat

Benny H.

Yelp
Pretty good yogurt. Slightly confusing terms of the flavor swirls, but not a major issue. Sizes are huge. Their small is by no means small. Overall nice little spot.

Patricia R.

Yelp
The yogurt is delicious and they give large portions. However, I tried the ice cream and it was fairly melted. The employee said "Sorry it's melted" and walked away after handing me dripping double chocolate ice cream. I asked for a lid and she said she doesn't think it'll fit so she offered to wrap it. Rather than handing it to me, she sticks it in the freezer for the minute I am paying for it. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it until I froze it at home. I will return for the yogurt, but the ice cream and service were disappointing.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Me and my friends we love this place. Honestly I also never been here until my friends introduced me. But their yogurt is such hidden gem ! The girls that work there are also very attentive. My friends always get their yogurt and their smoothies. Their smoothies are super thick and their yogurt is a generous amount. Will totally come back again

Ruhi C.

Yelp
Delicious yogurt and smoothies! Wanted a cold treat on a hot day so I decided to try this place. There were two young women working behind the counter who were very friendly and helpful. They gave me great recommendations and things to try so I got a smoothie and froyo. Both were delicious and refreshing! I will definitely be back to try out more things off their menu.

Tamara N.

Yelp
Stopped in for my froyo fix. The set up is slightly different compared to other froyo spots where you fill the container and add the toppings yourself. You first pick your flavor and then "bonus flavor" but that's only offered with vanilla. So I did vanilla with a raspberry bonus. I wasn't asked if I wanted toppings, but there wouldn't have been any room for them anyways since the portion I received was twice the size of the container. I couldn't finish it and was able to at least eat down until the lid fit. My bf got a small peanut butter chocolate ice cream and said it was delicious. The shop itself has a couple tables inside, nothing to special. We took ours to go and ate it in the car. Overall, it hit the mark for my froyo craving it was just different than what I was used to.

Yelp
Yumi Yogurt sells some black magic frozen yogurt called Carbolite (low carb/cal) and Wow Cow (low lactose), but it tastes like the greatest soft serve you've ever had. They sweeten with Xylitol to my understanding (?), so I probably wouldn't have this very often because I try to avoid synthetic sugar, but this place does live up to the reviews. They offer different flavors every day -- which are announced on their Instagram -- but also the classic French vanilla and Hershey's chocolate. I ordered the small with Reese's Peanut Butter (Carbolite) and Minty Cookies (Wow Cow) and the portion was massive. Definitely enough to share and justify the price at $7.

Chloe H.

Yelp
OMG how have I JUST found out about this place?! This is definitely a gem! My bf and I were looking for a new ice cream spot instead of going to our usuals, and we were both so glad to have tried Yumi Yogurt. The decorations are super cute and inviting, and the employee greeted us happily as we walked in. We ordered the small yogurt with chocolate chip almond roca. The total was $7 for the cup, and it was totally shareable because of the generous portion. The chocolate was my absolute favorite - rich, creamy, and sooooo chocolatey! I'd come back just to get that again. There was a couple tables inside the place with one table outside of the store. It's a great place to hang out and chat over deliciousness! We will definitely be back to try out other flavors!

DD D.

Yelp
Apparently, this shop makes "tart" flavor on only certain days of the week?? That's essentially the same as an ice cream shop carrying a staple flavor such as vanilla or chocolate on only certain days of the week. Strange. I left without purchasing anything for myself. Didn't try it and won't be back.

Priscilla D.

Yelp
*First time review* Came here tonight with a friend and absolutely blown away by the customer service!!! Susanna/Suzanna (she gave me permission to use her name) was legit the best customer service person I've met in years. When we arrived, there was another guy wanting to taste literally every ice cream. My friend and I wanted to try a few too-- she kept grabbing spoons and had a genuine kind smile for every single scoop. I personally would have been annoyed LOL! She was great. Really sweet girl and helpful. After we ordered a huge group came in and she was running the shop by herself. 10/10 for Susanna/Suzanna!! About the flavors, nice wide variety! While they didn't have traditional rocky road, I was able to try Cookie Monster and love it. It's cookie dough and Oreo. My friend got banana chip and said it was insanely good. Rich banana flavor and the chocolate chips added great semi-sweetness to the banana. Very clean place and would 100% come back!

Rox R.

Yelp
Since when is Swiss chocolate peppermint? I can't come back. Naming a mint flavor Swiss chocolate is false. I have been a big fan of this place but today, I asked for a new cup as this is not one bit like chocolate. It's full on mint and a super strong mint like a horrible cough drop. I left disappointed and had to throw out my cup.

Alex Z.

Yelp
I use to come here when I was a kid, I haven't comed since then until now and I can honestly say it's just as good as I remember if not better. That creamy pistachio is so good I couldn't get enough of it and if you're a pumpkin lover like me then the pumpkin pudding is a must try. The new yummy monster is so good filled with loads of candy pieces and caramel drizzle, good enough for someone with a sweet tooth.

Andrew T.

Yelp
I went here for the first time and I got the Kona Coffee and their Valentine's Flavor (strawberry and chocolate). They have a bunch of ice cream and frozen yogurt flavors which I believe they rotate every day. I feel like this place is definitely a hidden gem and it opens late as well. Unfortunately, they do not offer samples. The staff was pretty friendly and was happy to answer any questions we had. Their frozen yogurt is very smooth and they really load up the cup. The size small is the perfect amount for two people in my opinion. The small size allows for 2 flavor choices. I definitely want to try out the other flavors and even the ice cream next time. Their frozen yogurt doesn't taste too sweet which I liked. I wish this place had more seating, since there was only one table inside.

frances h.

Yelp
Btw, they make their own ice cream, but I would skip it! Tried a few flavors, and just didn't hit the spot. Stick to the yogurt, which is a size a plenty!

Vicky Y.

Yelp
What a hidden gem!!! Yumi Yogurt not only has amazing service, but their unique ice cream flavors are incredible! The person serving us was so kind and patient, answering all our questions about what each flavor tasted like (they unfortunately don't give samples) and what Carbolite (low in carbs) and Wowcow (low in lactose) was. It was pricey for soft serve-- $7 for a small-- but the size was huge! They do charge $2 for toppings. If you get a small, you can get up to 2 flavors and if you get a med/large, I believe you can get up to 3 flavors. I decided to try the creamy pistachio and chocolate cheesecake flavor. The creamy pistachio is basically like vanilla ice cream with pistachio syrup, which I'd give a 7/10, but the chocolate cheesecake but creamy and delicious-- 10/10!

Hoa N.

Yelp
Cute frozen yogurt shop tucked in a plaza. Came here on a Saturday night and we did not have to wait long. The staff took the time to explain to us different flavors along with the sizes. Love how friendly the service was. There's one small table inside and two outside. They have lots of options here: ice cream, yogurt, smoothies. We decided on a medium with 3 flavors ($8). -Snickers: 4/5, this was recommended us as the popular flavor of the day. Although this was yummy and creamy, it tasted more like a cappuccino than snickers. -Cookies & Cream: 1/5, this was my least favorite flavor. It tastes super artificial, not your typical cookie and cream. -Original tart flavor: 5/5, this one was delicious! Reminded me of the Vietnamese yogurt that my mom made growing up. For $8, it's totally worth the price for the large portion they give. Lots of parking in front.

Vivian T.

Yelp
My friend put me on this spot and I have loved it every time. They always have new flavors that you can find on their instagram! They give you a fair serving for a size small and the workers are very nice. I got the carbolite cookie dough mascarpone and this peanut butter flavor swirled!

Michella I.

Yelp
Always a hit at this spot. Brought my puppy in and they offered a pup cup. Ahh cherry on top lol. But big shoutout to Amanda for being very kind

Tiffany P.

Yelp
We came around 9:30PM on a Sunday. We got hazelnut and pistachio. The portion sizes are huge here. They have decent flavors but I wish they had tart. However I would definitely come back for the pistachio. There was still a line inside when we left at 9:50PM.

Alisa B.

Yelp
Overpriced and frankly... I just didn't enjoy it! Not sure if it was the flavors or what? $7.50 for a medium cup of froyo is pretty expensive, even if you can get up to three flavors. They also don't give samples, so good luck choosing the right flavor! I tried two flavors: Butterfinger Blizzard & Smores Mascrapone. The butterfinger honestly just tasted like cold peanut butter - I'm not even joking. I wish that it had the buttery hard candy that butterfinger is known for... I guess I shouldnmt have expected it from froyo though. The Smores Mascrapone really just tasted like a muted vanilla, but I think they were attempting of a marshmallow flavor? It just wasn't very good and it didn't tasted like mascrapone either, which is what I was most looking forward to! Overall, it was edible... just not enjoyable at all. When I came, their non-fat flavors weren't working either. Very lackluster experience. Maybe I'll come back in the future to try their Lappert's Ice Cream instead.. that Princess Cake flavor was calling my name!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Came on a Thursday night and there was a steady flow of customers coming in! Good amount of parking and easy to find. About 3 tables inside and a couple tables to also sit outside. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. For our first time we were explained to how the menu works. The server was awesome and really made our experience great. We ended up ordering: -Matcha / Cookie Crunch with Heath crumbles (size small) -Vanilla / Peanut butter (size small) Omg what a generous serving of froyo! Not only is this worth the price, but it also tastes delicious! A great alternative for when you don't want to eat full cream ice cream. Really enjoyed our overall experience and will be back to try the flavor bursts next time. :)

Neha D.

Yelp
Great fro yo and toppings! The portion sizes are huge and this is the perfect treat after dinner. Not usually long lines in the evening and plenty of parking nearby

Courtney T.

Yelp
This is the besttt fro-yo I've ever had. In fact, it tastes just like soft serve ice cream without any tarte-ness. The texture of the soft serve is super creamy and I love their selection of flavors! All of them sounded so bomb but I decided to try the vanilla chai for my first time. Now that I've had this, I don't think I can get soft serve anywhere else. Not only that, there are a good selection of carb-free flavors on the menu! I would love to come back and try the reese's flavor next time. Btw the fro-yo isn't too sweet which is a huge plus

Jenny G.

Yelp
Super creamy frozen yogurt, but it was a little too sweet for me. I had a hard time finishing due to the sweetness and large serving size. Vanilla: Classic, fragrant vanilla. Red Velvet: Tasted like milk chocolate.

Cheryl C.

Yelp
Tasted more like soft serve than frozen yogurt. I wouldn't come here for froyo, but for a sweet treat it is alright. The menu needed some explanations: According to the staff, "carbolite" is lower in carbs, and "wowcow" is lower in lactose. Flavor bursts are syrups swirled into the soft serve. The vanilla custard flavor was very creamy and airy. The pina colada flavor burst was enjoyable, but I wasn't a fan of the lemon flavor burst. The portion size was normal.

Jackie N.

Yelp
OMG, my new favorite dessert place in the area! Wow I can't believe I didn't know about this place before. This frozen yogurt taste just like a good soft serve. My favorite flavor is the creamy pistachio, so yummy! Also love that they package the cup very well with plastic wrap to make sure it doesn't leak. Customer service has always been excellent. Small place with a handful of tables inside. You get a lot of yogurt in the cup as well!

Cherylynn N.

Yelp
I some know people like it tall, big, and thicccc (*ahem*) and Yumi got THAT down solid with their soft serve. The smallest serving is HUGE and just way too much for one person. So, great value there if you're sharing. After a spicy Korean meal, I wanted ice cream and visited Yumi based on the yelp reviews. I wished I stuck with SomiSomi or Yogurtland instead because this seems like a quantity over quality type of place. I ordered the French Vanilla Soft Serve (small - $6.50) and it tasted so fake and artificial: https://bit.ly/3viLqta. I hate being wasteful but after two bites, I tossed it. Maybe it was an off batch? The staff is green and need training on the basics. I asked what kind of sugar they used for their soft serve, and neither staff knew. You only know what you're taught so that's a reflection on management. Anyways, come to find out that Yumi uses artificial sweeteners (i.e. xylitol) for some of their soft serves. I should of known better when the entire fam bam of seven in front of me skipped the soft serve and went straight for the Lappert's Ice Cream!

Yung_Drip O.

Yelp
Terrible ice cream!! I got two scoops; cookie monster and double chocolate. Both were freezer burnt and gooey. My girlfriend and me were sharing and about 10 mins in our stomachs started hurting. Should've gotten the fro-yo :( Update I got food poisoning.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
I decided to give this place a try. I never thought I'd say this- but you can go wrong with frozen yogurt. First, this place doesn't let you taste the flavors. Seems stingy. Next the fro yo is overpriced. I ordered the small and they put it in this tiny cup, with a scoop coming out of the cup (so, like an ice cream cone). Then, they put my toppings in an even smaller cup "on the side". I was taking this to someone else so I asked for a bigger container so the fro yo wouldn't melt in my car. The worker said they can't do that. I offered to pay .50 for a larger container and the employee said the only way I could get the larger container was if I paid the full price! I explained that I was concerned about getting fro yo all over my car. The employee asked if I wanted it packed "to- go". I asked what that entailed and he literally pointed to a tiny top for the cup (which wouldn't cover the scoop of fro yo) and Saran Wrap! Can someone please tell me how wrapping fro yo in Saran Wrap would even work?! Ridiculous! I got the fro yo to my partner and explained this absurd situation (after getting a little fro yo in my car). And as my partner ate it, he commented that the toppings tasted stale. I had a bite and agreed. I love supporting small businesses... but I won't be returning to this spot which is so unaccommodating to their customers. Go somewhere else for friendlier service!

Madeleine Y.

Yelp
Yumi yogurt is my favorite frozen yogurt place in the Bay! My mom has been going here for 20+ years and she brought my family here as well. The yogurt literally tastes like ice cream and the portions are huge. Another plus is that it's like 8-10 calories per ounce which is insane compared to yogurt at yogurtland which is like 30-50 cals per oz. So if you're into fitness and tracking your macros then this place is a great alternative! I also love how the flavors change everyday and you can follow them on Instagram to see the daily flavors which is always super fun. The service is pretty great and they're usually pretty cheerful. Definitely come here if you happen to be in the area!

Marc T.

Yelp
Found this place after having dinner in Stevens Creek. Don't come on a warm/hot day since this place will surely attract families, couples, and dessert lovers! The wait was about 10 minutes with the long queue and amount of people ahead of me. Everyone was coming out with huge portions of ice cream or frozen yogurt, so I was super pleased and excited to see. They have lots of flavors and the service is efficient and speedy. What I ordered was the small Reese's Peanut Butter frozen yogurt. It was delicious, super creamy texture, soft, and peanut buttery! It melts on your mouth instantly. Can't wait to return again to fill my sweet tooth and try different flavors.

Felicia C.

Yelp
My favorite place to get frozen yogurt. Honestly I would prefer Yumi Yogurt over any ice cream or sorbet any day. Even compared to Meadowlark (one of my favorite places for ice cream), this is still my favorite place for a frozen dessert. My favorites here are the lighter flavors: fruity flavors and vanilla concoctions. Chocolate flavors don't really come through in the frozen yogurt as much. The texture of the frozen yogurt is CRAZY. Is tastes fresh and SO smooth. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. MUST TRY.

Paulina L.

Yelp
Old school shop with tons of flavors and different kinds of ice cream from frozen yogurt to regular scoop ice cream. They always change their flavors daily so always look out for that. I ordered the pistachio and vanilla tapioca and the Reese peanut butter I believe it was. The Reese peanut butter taste just like the candy but very peanut buttery for me. I liked the vanilla tapioca but it just tasted like vanilla not sure about the tapioca flavor. Pistachio was good as well but didn't really get the taste of it until eating it a couple of times. Friendly service and lots of parking. Wasn't busy when I went on a weekday!

Carnie C.

Yelp
I was looking for a sweet treat after dinner and landed upon this shop. There's a great selection of items at this place! There's boba, ice cream, frozen yogurt, shakes, etc. The serving size is HUGE. I split a small cup with 2 of my friends and we still barely finished it. We got cookies and cream and also the snickers frozen yogurt. The cookies and cream flavor had an initial taste of banana which was very interesting but I didn't mind it at all. The snickers was 5/5. It wasn't as creamy as I would have liked but still satisfied my craving. The staff were very nice and helpful! There's some indoor and outdoor seating so my friends and I stayed for a couple hours chatting. Overall very delicious and I might stop by again.

Samantha C.

Yelp
This is still my FAVORITE froyo place in the Bay. I always get the Wow Cow / Carbolite flavors (yes, they do contain sweeteners) - but at only 10-12 calories per ounce, a little can't hurt, right? The flavors are so, so creamy and flavorful. And of course, they have non-Wow Cow flavors as well. The portions are HUGE because they pile that swirl on high! Even the small size is great to share between two people. My go-to spot for a sweet treat without breaking the calorie bank.

Anthony R.

Yelp
Love getting our yogurt fix here! I'm an old fashioned chocolate and vanilla swirl kinda guy and Yumi Yogurt definitely delivers. I love the dense and creamy taste the yogurt has. They have a flavor that might be seasonal and it's a vanilla and orange swirl that is so reminiscent of a creamsicle. In the mood for ice cream? They have that too! Lappert's famous ice cream to be exact! When you're in the Santa Clara area make sure to stop by!

roger t.

Yelp
I don't have to go to San Mateo anymore!!! Wife saw this place and we were eating nearby and came by. I love it why? Cuz they hook you up since the yogurt serving. Big portions. The staff there was super nice and friendly. I got to sample other ice cream flavors and sat and chilled while the kids ate their desert. Parking was empty but the parking lot was a bit weirdly angled. I am going to come back and use my gift cards since I keep on forgetting. To bring them to San Mateo!!!!!!

Christine L.

Yelp
I don't know what happened to Yumi. The portions are now tiny. Looks like maybe they changed owners?

Nina L.

Yelp
The best fro yo. Hands down. Super creamy and they give you so much. When I'm craving something cold on a hot day and don't want the heavy cream of ice cream, I go for Yumi Yogurt. I live about 15 minute drive away now and it is worth it. There's often a line out the door at 9 pm on hot summer nights. Go to Yumi Yogurt. You don't know what you're missing.

Joanne H.

Yelp
I haven't been to yumi yogurt in over 10 years but my bf wanted to go so we decided to go on a hot day. I remember not being impressed when I went a long time ago and felt the same this time. We ordered a small with birthday cake and coffee. Neither yogurts really had flavor and honestly tasted like vanilla. The texture is really creamy and thick but I personally prefer more icy froyos. The small is definitely enough to share for 2 people and costs about $7. The price felt steep for something so basic. Service was quick but worker wasn't friendly and gave off very grumpy energy. The customer in front of us got 2 scoops of ice cream on a cone and his second scoop actually fell but he caught it. Instead of apologizing for the faulty scooping or offering anything, the worker just said there's napkins over there. That came off really rude and I would've been annoyed if I were the customer! Overall, not a fan of this type of yogurt so I didn't enjoy it but if you prefer creamy froyo this will probably be a solid choice for you!

Kelly C.

Yelp
3.5*. Caveat: it was a random weekday night; so perhaps try it on a weekend? My take: A-OK for Yumi Yogurt. Not sure if it's cause we grabbed it as takeout but the size was smaller than expected and the flavors were less exciting than other reviews previously noted ube etc. There were only a handful of flavors: chocolate, vanilla, a couple others, and apple cider/pie. A medium size totally works for 2 less-hungry people. My take: go for the chocolate and hold off on the apple one (a bit sour). And you must try the low cal ones - you can't tell the difference. Promise. Plenty of parking next to the Mickie Dee's.

Yelp
When the temperature is in the 90's in April, it's time for ice-cream. I typically don't indulge myself with ice cream (or froyo) often, but do make it a point to try at least 2 new ice cream spots each year. This seemed like a nice spot, and they are open late until 10 p.m. I ordered a cup with 2 flavors-Tiramisu and Mexican hot chocolate. I loved them both, but being a chocolate lover, I would recommend the latter. Even though the cup size was small, the quantity was quite large. They charge you a flat price for the cup, and you can order as many flavors as you like within the cup. The server doesn't skimp on the portions, and I'll be honest, it felt more like a whole pint than a small cup. Their menu changes frequently, which can be good or bad. The establishment is spotless, but there isn't much seating.

Yelp
3.5 stars- This froyo shop has nostalgic vibes with the neon lights and brightly colored walls and floors. I already knew from the other reviews that the portion sizes were big but nothing could have prepared me for this. I ordered a medium cup to share which comes with three flavors. Their flavors change out frequently, but I ordered the honey maid, strawberry and raspberry flavor. It is on the sweeter side so after a few spoonfuls, I was having some flavor fatigue. Their portion sizes are really big so a small cup could feed 2-3 people even. Great value!

Yelp
This review is specifically for their boba, which I had during a recent visit. This place is known for their frozen yogurt and ice cream, but I was in the mood for something different. The boba was a surprise since I wasn't expecting it as an option, but it wasn't very good. I noticed that when the person was making my drink, the "tea" was actually a powder - at most other boba spots I go to, I'm usually served a fresh tea. When I tasted the drink, it was pretty disappointing...it tasted like chemicals and didn't really have authentic tea flavor. Also, the boba itself wasn't great quality...boba is supposed to be soft, yet slightly firm to the bite - Yumi Yogurt's boba was crunchy and that was odd. I couldn't finish the drink. All-in-all, I think they are known for frozen yogurt and ice cream and that's probably what someone should order here. If you're a big boba fan and particular with boba flavor and quality, this probably isn't the place to order it.
