We had an amazing time! The service was impeccable here as well. I loved the edamame and the large variety of items on the menu. The crawfish seemed to have a sweetness to it which is not typically our style but we did enjoy the garlic noodles inside of our boil and the options in the plaza !

Yummy Seafood Is my favorite restaurant ever!!! I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience with them. I went yesterday with my friends right when they opened and i didn’t catch the servers name who was working at the time but she wears glasses and has black wavy/curly hair. she was very kind and attentive to us and made our experience enjoyable! The food has always tasted so amazing and flavorful and i always recommend this place to my friends/coworkers! I highly recommend anyone try this place if they’re looking for a new seafood spot to try out. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Recently visited Yummy Seafood and while we understand the place was busy, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. The space felt very tight and crowded, which made it uncomfortable to dine in. Ordered the Fried Mushroom, Fried Soft-Shell Crab Platter, Fish with Shrimp Platter, and the Yummy-Nator. Unfortunately, the Fried Mushrooms were quite underwhelming, they didn’t taste quite right compared to similar dishes we’ve had at other seafood spots. The fried platters were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. As for the Yummy-Nator, while the seafood was fresh, the flavor profile didn’t stand out. We were also surprised to find only one piece of mushroom in the entire boiled despite mushrooms being listed as one of the included items. It felt a bit misleading. Service was another downside. We had to constantly look around to get our server’s attention, and it took multiple tries before they stopped by. Overall, with the crowd and the wait, we were hoping for something more impressive in both flavor and service. It might be worth a try for others, but it wasn’t for us.

Google
Just cuz of the oyster it’s a 5 stars, but the crawfish hit. I’ll say the spicy flavor wasn’t too spicy in my opinion. But their wings were fire 🔥you’ll have to wait a little bit I waited 10 min so not too bad. Fire definitely coming back and the music selection was fire too

We’ve been coming to this location for years since they first opened. The food was great and the service was good. However, during our most recent experience, we realized how ridiculously small the portion has gotten. What used be 1/2 ft long Po Boy with is now barely 4” with one crab. This is one of our go to orders so the size changes definitely didn’t go unnoticed. We paid $16 for a palm sized sandwich with a cup of fried rice on the size.

Google
I didn’t appreciate how they didn’t serve us half our dishes and then shrugged it off. It was about 45 minutes before close, but there was no mention of not being able to get our food. Wasn’t told until 10 minutes before close that they weren’t able to make our food despite telling us the food was coming the whole night. Food itself was rly good tho. Flavors were hitting Probably not going back tho. They were quite slow.

Price is very reasonable and the staff are really friendly. This is our go-to place for Viet cajun. We always get the omg fries and my daughter loved those little crab finger things.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jaime YUMMY is the spot! If you love Cajun seafood, this place is a must! We crawfish, we shrimp, we EAT — and Jaime YUMMY delivers every time. Their Cajun crawfish with shrimp is absolutely packed with flavor, and don’t even get me started on the mussels and potatoes — so good! We’ve been coming here for a while now, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is chill, the prices are great, and the location is super convenient. It’s definitely one of our favorite go-to spots for a delicious, satisfying meal. Love this place! Highly recommend if you’re craving bold, tasty seafood.

Yelp
I goto Yummy's for their HH since they're always on point with oysters and offer a variety for good price. Yummy's can get pretty cramped at different times of the day but when we came, there were a few tables readily available. I came with a party and got 2 dozen oysters on their HH menu that were $1.25 a piece. We also got some fries to share with the table along with a few other items like fried mushrooms. Along with a few beers the tab added up! Even with HH, our total was nearing $90. Then I realized there was a 18% mandatory service fee. Needless to say, I'm not too happy with this. Not that I'm against tipping, but to make it part of the bill is just in bad taste. I don't hold Yummy's responsible for the "tipflation" but I won't make regular visits to Yummy's. Maybe only when I'm really jonesing for oysters.

Yelp
Service here was mediocre at best; we waited ten minutes before we even got approached for our drink orders. On top of that, servers were not really friendly and seemed like they didn't want to be there. For the appetizer, we ordered the clam chowder which was 10/10. We also ordered the Yummy sea food boil which was also good. The shrimps were just hard. If you want poor service, come but don't expect anything extraordinary! Maybe just a shrug in response to a food item tasting bad.

Yelp
Yummy Seafood is a 100% solid spot for a casual seafood lunch. I went today (Tuesday) and couldn't pass up the $1 raw Gulf oysters. Fresh and such a steal!!!! I also tried the boiled shrimp with mussels in cajun lemon pepper, and the flavor was spot on. The sauce was yummy and buttery with just the right amount of spice. The customer service was great too. My server was super attentive and made sure I had everything we needed. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving seafood!

Yelp
I came Friday afternoon and had the crab mussel boil with house sauce, the scallop garlic noodles, the sake clams (huge clams) and my daughter had a cheeseburger. Food was good and service was was great

Very attentive staff and great food. There is a lot to try out! And everything is delicious. Reasonable prices as well, incase you want to try more.

Yelp
Just a thought: Based on the reviews I read, the negative feedback stems from take-out orders. I'd recommend experiencing dining in before forming an opinion to write a review. Summary: A friend from Austin wanted something from Katy Asia Town, and this is one of my top recommendations, so here we are! I've been coming here since its opening but haven't reviewed it until now. Despite the distance, every visit has been consistently delightful. The bustling atmosphere only speaks to its delicious offerings! Service: We appreciated the person who engaged us while we waited and shared store information. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and it felt like the entire team pitched in. Considering the level of service, I believe a tip of 18% or more is well-deserved. Promotions: - Lunch Specials till 3pm Everyday! - Happy hour (3pm - 6pm) Drinks, $1 oysters Food: App - - The fresh $1 oysters come in varying sizes, mostly good-sized. It's gulf-oyster and the taste was pretty good! - The crab fingers were decently portioned, though I expected a bit more. It comes with 2 sauces, and it complimented the crab finger. - The oyster taco was served in a set of 3, but ideally, I believe 6 would be more appropriate given the pricing. It was crunchy fried oyster on top of a chip, yum! Crawfish - Previously, crawfish was pricier, but fortunately, we visited during a time of abundance. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of styles available. The crawfish came in various sizes, and the inclusion of corn and potatoes was a nice touch! The Ultimate Platter - The platter included two fish, a dozen shrimp, six fried scallops, and one softshell crab. Although it leans towards the pricier side, the fried seafood was undeniably delicious. While the quantity may seem substantial, in reality, it didn't quite match the price point. However, despite this, I believe every item was worth it as we thoroughly savored each dish. Additionally, we opted to add fried rice for a few extra dollars, and when paired with the crawfish sauce we took from the crawfish boil, it was simply amazing! Definitely worth a try. Conclusion: While the portion sizes didn't surpass our expectations, the food itself was outstanding. However, the disappointing aspect was the limited amount of sauce, particularly the cocktail sauce. Despite requesting more than 5 times, the serving size was akin to a nickel. Given the abundance of food we ordered, it would have been appreciated to receive enough sauces to complement our meal adequately. Photo Credit: Rena Sun

Yelp
First time to the Asian Market!! Yummy service was excellent, server was very attentive. Crab fingers are delicious !!! Love the snow crab! Shrimp was no to my liking, very tough! Tried Cajun rice , was not a fan of it either! It is pretty loud , the music. But restaurant is clean and someone continues to clean.

Yelp
We have been here multiple times for lunch and dinner. The oysters have always been fresh and the grilled food is good as well. Great service and a relaxed/ fun atmosphere!

Yelp
This was the first place I tried in Katy Asian Town. We had a large party so we had to wait for enough tables to open so they could be put together and that is totally understandable. I'm not an adventurous person when trying a new seafood place so I went with a grilled fish/shrimp platter which I forgot to photograph, but one group had the fried platter which I did photograph while the others had oysters, boiled crab legs, and other stuff. To be honest, my Seafood Platter wasn't that exciting. The fish was a little on the dry side and the shrimp seemed overcooked. I'm a little over critical when it comes to cooking seafood because I've been practicing cooking my own after years of not being good at it and I think I finally reached the point where the stuff I cook actually tastes better so maybe I'm a little biased. I think if they would have added a signature coleslaw or something to the platter, it would round it off better. As for my friends, they seemed happy with the crab legs which for the price they paid for them, I really hope they were happy! I got off easy with the standard platter, but I think they are better known for their cajon offerings so take my review with a grain of salt. On a different note, it was really really cold there like they hadn't even turned on the heater.

Yelp
It's good the only thing is they do not debeard their mussels so a lot of mussels have a grassy substance inside you have to clean because they don't clean them

Yelp
I've been visiting Yummy Seafood for three years. Today, I took my kids and ran into some old friends. The only two available tables were next to each other, so we all sat together. Despite being two separate parties, they still added a gratuity charge! I'm fine with tipping if the service is deserving. However, my son's appetizer arrived a staggering 38 minutes after his main meal! I'm very disappointed and won't be coming back. I strongly suggest dining at a different restaurant instead of Yummy Seafood and Oyster Bar.

Yelp
We returned to Houston to enjoy thanksgiving with dear friends. They made a point of showing us Asian Town in Katy. This is a relatively new development that wasn't built 3 years ago when we lived here. Essentially, Asian Town is a huge strip center with several hundred restaurants. Yes, several hundred. Mostly Asian. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino. Sushi, ramen, pho, name it. We had heard positive things about Yummy Seafood and we weren't disappointed. We decided to just go with appetizers so we wouldn't ruin dinner. That was an epic fail. Service was superb. The portion size of the fried okra and calamari was amazing. Those two alone would have satisfied 4 of us. The okra and calamari were outstanding. Piping hot, a large order served with a mustard sauce and a mayo sauce. Absolutely fantastic. The calamari were more like onion rings rather than little pieces. The gumbo was a disappointing. A thin, watery base with chunks of celery and very few pieces of sausage and mud bugs. I thought it was flavorless. My wings arrived last. Very crispy, very hot and very greasy. I used paper towels to soak up the extra grease. I felt the kitchen could have done a better job draining the wings. I went with Lemon Pepper and the flavor was very good. Well, our dinner was ruined. And there weren't any left overs, so I see it as a win for Yummy Seafood.

Yelp
Over priced but the food was really good. 12-15bucks for 6wings and no side is outrageous. Rice was worth the price..everything was good but just overpriced for the quantity you get.

Yelp
This place is always packed which is a good sign. I came here around 4 pm on a Friday (not peak hours, mind you) and by the time we left, the restaurant had already filled up. At around $8.99/lb for crawfish, this place was one of the more affordable spots in Houston. While the crawfish were a bit small (not entirely the restaurant's fault as it is not a great crawfish season), their yummy house sauce seasoning was delicious, and I liked that it came with a free piece of corn and potato to really maximize the sauces. Another tasty dish was the fried rice. It came in a generous portion size (easily enough to feed 4-5 people), and had plenty of sausage, crab, crawfish, and shrimp embedded in it. We also ordered the Ultimate Seafood Platter - at around $43, it comes with fish, shrimp, scallops, and a soft shell crab, along with fries. I found some of the seafood a bit saltier, so will probably pass on this one next time. All that to say - check this place out whenever you're in town! I look forward to returning and trying more of their seafood tastiness.

Yelp
I went here with a couple of friends and I was left very disappointed. The interior is nice and looks like a great hang out spot. The employees were nice which is why I gave the 2 stars, but the food was not good. We ordered a lot of appetizers to split and everything was served with the same sauces: spicy mayo and ranch. We had the calamari, boudin balls, garlic noodles, and bang bang shrimp. Everything was extremely salty and greasy; they lacked a lot of flavor. The servings were not big either and each costed ~$10+. It was so disappointing and not filling at all. I'd be willing to try it again if they switched some things up, but for now, it is not for me.

Yelp
Ive passed by this place so many times and it's always packed with people so I figured I'd finally try it out. I love a good lychee martini so I ordered that as a drink and it was OK; not the best lychee martini I've had. For food we got fried calamari, fried oysters and a platter. I thought the oysters were good but the calamari was 10x better. I love seafood and that platter truly satisfied my taste buds. There was a lot to choose from on the menu and everything looked super good. I would definitely recommend this place to my seafood lovers.

Yelp
Insanity is my favorite. Would give 5 stars but something has changed over the past couple years when it comes to the seasoning being on point. But a staple go to for crawdaddies.

Yelp
Needed a place for crawfish that wasn't too far from home and this place came up, so we decided to give them a try. From the minute we entered, we were made to be feel right at home. Most of us had a crawfish which was very tasty but obviously being out of season, wasn't big enough for our taste. such is life, but i'm sure we will be back in-season to give them a try yet again. Wife and daughter had a nice dish with crabs and legs and everything in between.....smiles all around! We found our crawfish place for the west side of town, that's for sure!!

Yelp
A small restaurant with a great menu! The crab at this restaurant is fantastic, the different types of oysters are great. I tried all 8 different types. Love it. The crab is cooked great! I've been a few times and I will be back! Fast service, great food. Very clean but you'll probably make a mess

Yelp
Stop by with a group of friends on a Saturday around 4 PM. The restaurant was packed and even had a few folks waiting outside. Luckily some of my group got there earlier for happy hour and got us a table. The service was super awesome and we were well taken care of. We ordered a ton of items, but I ended up getting, a boiled bag with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage (medium yummy House delight). It was good. Next time I may level up on the spice. Soft drinks had free refills (servers came around with refills before you even had to ask). The bar made a really good Moscow Mule and lychee martini. They have TVs everywhere so you can enjoy various games while eat! Update - I came back and it was so much better this time! I got the same order but there was better spice this round. I also noticed that this time, there was less sauce in the bag. Maybe next time I should order some extra. My friends that are frequent visitors told me that it gets better each time. I'll definitely be back again!

Yelp
This place has it going on! It was busy. Had a loud, fun atmosphere and a decent size bar. We went for the advertised November Wednesday special. And it did not disappoint. The special was snow crab, blue crab, shrimp, sausage, potato and corn for $29.99. It was absolutely delicious! The staff was attentive and quick. Can't wait to go back and try other deliciousness!

Yelp
I'm so disgusted at the service I just received at this place. I order from here multiple times a week and tonight I called in an order and I walked in and there was like 4 people there. Each one made eye contact with me and not one person asked to assist. I just wanted to pick up and go. The girl with the loop nose ring ended up checking me out after I got tired of waiting and asked for help, and she looked so disinterested, like handing me a machine to tap my card was such a hassle for her. The food is good but there are millions of seafood places in Houston. Never spending another dime here.

Yelp
My experience at this location was fairly decent. It wasn't great but it was good enough for me to come back. The service was fine, not very attentive but they do accommodate if you get their attention. Here's what I ordered. * Lemon pepper wings- came out of the fryer piping hot, which was perfect. But it needed to sit out for a few mins before diving in. Flavor wise it was good but needed more lemon pepper seasoning. 3.5/5 * Yummy burger- the patty wasn't dry but needed some more seasoning, it was lacking in flavor but it wasn't bad. The tots came out fresh & hot. 3.5/5 * Garlic butter crawfish (spicy)- it was cooked to perfection and had that bouncy shrimp like texture. The crawfish was buttery but barley had any garlic flavor. The corn was good but the potatoes was overcooked because it was breaking apart. 3/5 Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. I definitely left full. I will say that 10.99 a pound for crawfish is a bit pricy. If you're charging me that much, I want to be blown away. I guess since it came with 1 potato & 1 corn it's not that bad. They have it down pat far as cooking it fresh & hot and delivering it to you in a timely manner but more seasoning is what they need to improve on. Will I come back? Yes.

Yelp
I always come during hh and it never disappoints. I suggest the garlic noodles and see if they'll add crawfish. I like their lychee cocktail too. Place is packed in the weekends during crawfish season. Place is loud but you can still carry a conversation and service has always been good.

Yelp
Our favorite Cajun style seafood restaurant in Houston. We had dinner here tonight. We've probably been here a handful of times. The setting is casual but clean and set up sort of like a sports bar. The service was pretty good as it generally is. We had: Dozen raw oysters - These did not taste quite right tonight. So we asked the server if we could have the ones we did not eat grilled and they accommodated our request (for a bit of extra charge which was fine). Never want to take any chances with raw shellfish. Fried Pickles - 5/5: You don't find these at too many restaurants to always a treat when we come here. Yummy Fried Rice - 5/5: So delicious. They have their own seasoning which adds a delicious layer of "Cajun" flavor vs. a typical fried rice. The shellfish (crawfish and shrimp) add great flavor as well. For the main entree, we had shrimps, crawfish and snow crabs in their "all 3" house seasoning - 5/5. We sometimes vary what shellfish we'll order but typically get it in this seasoning. Must try. We'll be back!

Yelp
Unfortunately this did not live up to the hype that we've heard. We were seriously craving crawfish and wanted to give a local restaurant a try. Came here and there was a massive line outside which bodes well for a local hot spot. We decided to order to-go thinking it would be faster since the wait was 45-60 min. We got 4 lbs of crawfish (2 lbs medium and 2 lbs spicy-- which was very spicy). You don't feel it at first but it creeps up on you! I thought I ordered it the "Vietnamese Cajun" style, but they just gave me the Cajun seasoning which was really disappointing. It was bland and lacked flavor. It was my fault for not specifying the garlic butter sauce which is traditional for Viet Cajun style crawfish. When we got home, we had to make our own sauce for the crawfish to be able to finish all 4 lbs. With it being close to peak crawfish season, we expected bigger crawfish but 85-90% of the crawfish were tiny. And we also ordered a side of fries which was utterly disappointing. Not only were they waffle fries, but they came completely soggy and chewy. It tasted like day-old leftover chik fila fries. We had to come home and air fry them again to be able to eat them. Our home is only 10 min from Katy Asia town so we expected the fries to still be crispy when we brought them home. Sadly I would have given them a 1-star but I gave them 2-stars bc I made the mistake of not specifying garlic butter sauce when I thought it was assumed when I ordered viet Cajun style. And also the staff were really helpful and nice during the ordering process despite how busy the spot was.

Yelp
WOW!! This place rocks. The miso mussels are hands down one of the best things I've ever eaten. Delicious. We loved all the sides. The soft shell crap was awesome and I usually don't even like that. Crawfish was great although I wish they gave some type of tools to make it easier to open. We are newbies so I was having a tough time opening the shells. Service was fast. Small space packed with people. Love the hand washing station as it was definitely needed. Good spot. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I mean OYSTERS! SEAFOOD! YUMMY - it's literally in the name of. And they LIED!! In all fairness, the oysters were fantastic. However, if you hand someone a pink sheet of paper that says oysters are a dollar, then I expect that oysters are a dollar. I do not expect the tiny print of happy hour to be the thing that makes oysters over a dollar each. Everything went downhill from the oysters. It took over an hour from the point we received our oysters to get a salad and a grilled poorboy. Please don't tell me that we are waiting because "they got busy". We were there and had placed our order yet other peoples food was coming out before ours. The salad was nothing special and the portion of salmon for nine dollars was ridiculously small. The scallops on the poor poor boy were horribly overcooked as was the egg. Service was not good. The food was not good. When they call it yummy I expect yummy. They lied.

Yelp
There's just no place like Yummy. Crawfish was made to order perfectly, service was on point (thank you, Kristen & Gabe!), and it has this local dive bar feel about it which I wasn't expecting. You can't leave without trying the Parmesan Grilled Oysters, Mexican Candy cocktail and/or a Michelada.

Yelp
Came here with my parents recently. Everything was super fresh and the service was great. I personally prefer my crawfish to be a lot more saucy. This was more of a dry spice so I asked for butter to dip in. The garlic noodles tasted great and my family enjoyed the catfish platter. Everything was good but I would go elsewhere for crawfish.

Yelp
My friends and I had the best experience here! The food and drinks were amazing! I ordered the OMGoodness fries to start and they are definitely SO GOOOOD as described! My mouth is watering thinking of them. One of my friends ordered the Edamame Sauteed with Yummy Delight seasoning and those tasted as amazing as the fries. I was making mmmm noises that were thankfully drowned out by the jams playing. Lol! For my main course, I ordered 2 lbs of crawfish and 1 pound of shrimp. I can't remember the flavor I chose, but I know it was medium. I think I chose Cajun & Garlic Butter. Speaking of butter, I also ordered a side of butter sauce for dipping and it did not disappoint. The flavor was pure butter deliciousness! It didn't need the garlic or seasonings that other places put. Perfect as is! For drinks, I had a michelada w/Dos XX and another drink, but can't remember what it was called. I just remember it was freaking delicious! I'll update when I get the name. Can't forget the shots we took! We ordered green tea shots and they were the best I've ever tasted! They done ruined it for everyone else because I will forever expect the way they make them. Now to the part that solidified my love for them. We off chance met the owner because of my nosiness. I saw a dish at the table next to us and I questioned it because I didn't see it on the menu. The person who answered happened to be the owner himself and started telling us he and his team were trying out new dishes they were creating. The one that caught my eye was a dish with noodles and shrimp. He offered us a taste and oh my heaven it tasted so freaking delicious! We told him he had to add it, so hopefully they do! I honestly can't wait to go back and enjoy more items off their menu! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! What are you doing still reading this? Go try them out for yourself!

Yelp
Really enjoyed the crawfish, service was really good, price was expected since I looked at the menu's prices before going. I'd recommend this for lunch or dinner, but it fills up fast.

Yelp
Stopped by Sunday night and the service that was given is the worst I've ever received. The short Hispanic girl that said she was the manager was rude and you could just see her behind the bar taking shots with the bartender meanwhile I was still waiting on my water.Only ones that seemed to be checking on us was the tall girl and guy.

Yelp
Restaurant is small, cold, busy and a little loud for our liking so we tend to get Yummy to go byt it's always great. Their oyster HH is ! And those micheladas are excellent. But the boiled shrimp and crawfish in the house sauce spicy level is where it's at! Give it a try, you won't regret it. We also have tried yummy fries, po boys, fried fish plate and all it extremely good!

Yelp
Best seafood boil I've had since moving out here! Service is usually great! The place is nice. Never had any bad food from here and I've tried a lot of the menu!

Yelp
Food wasn't that great. They were out of almost everything we tried to order. Never got drink refills. Had to call someone over if we needed something. And they still charged us automatic gratuity. Guess that's why the waitress didn't care about doing her job.

Yelp
Good food, fresh oysters. Wish they had more food on the happy hour menu. But it's a solid place. Always skeptical of cheap oysters at some places. These were fresh, and they had a variety of different regions available. I'd go again for other foods on the menu. Def worth a try if you like oysters.

Yelp
I came here and got mainly appetizers. Had the bang bang shrimp, calamari, oyster nachos, raw oysters. Also had some micheladas during their happy hour.

Yelp
Great food. All the food has great flavor. The batter has a unique taste. We will definitely be back for the food. The mixed drinks are too sweet and could hardly taste the liquor. We will stick with nice cold beer. The ambiance is low key and laid back. The service was great and our waitress was very tentative to our needs.

Yelp
We keep going back to this place. It's amazing every time. FYI they have a new garlic noodle dish that is spicy and delicious. It is a must try.

Yelp
5 stars! I love coming to this place. Truly my favorite place to eat good and drink good with friends and family. The workers are so friendly and quick with attending you if you need anything. The food is my favorite thing to eat there like their bang bang wings are pure crack ESPECIALLY their OMG fries. 10/10!

Yelp
(3.5 if I could) The numulator (?) or something large mixed boil was very generous and arrived piping hot. The staff kept our drinks full and our shell bucket empty. They also conveniently have a handwashing station outside of the bathroom. The only drawback were the obnoxious regulars at the bar screaming, singing happy birthday, harassing the staff, and meandering about - they must tip or spend a lot for the management to not do anything about them because lots of patrons were clearly annoyed.

Yelp
Awesome place and amazing food!! Was a bit of a wait but soooo worth it!!! The service was friendly and the food was so good. The Po'boys were amazing and the boiled shrimp were out of this world. Definitely returning!

Yelp
Our first visit was great and its kept us coming back. The first time we visited it wasn't busy but now every time we come by, there is a wait so it looks like other people have discovered this hidden gem. If you like fried mushrooms, they are amazing here. We've had lots of different dishes here our favorites are the fried rice, fried mushrooms and crawfish in their house sauce.
