Yelp
Just a thought:
Based on the reviews I read, the negative feedback stems from take-out orders. I'd recommend experiencing dining in before forming an opinion to write a review.
Summary: A friend from Austin wanted something from Katy Asia Town, and this is one of my top recommendations, so here we are! I've been coming here since its opening but haven't reviewed it until now. Despite the distance, every visit has been consistently delightful. The bustling atmosphere only speaks to its delicious offerings!
Service:
We appreciated the person who engaged us while we waited and shared store information. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and it felt like the entire team pitched in. Considering the level of service, I believe a tip of 18% or more is well-deserved.

Food:
App -
- The fresh $1 oysters come in varying sizes, mostly good-sized. It's gulf-oyster and the taste was pretty good!
- The crab fingers were decently portioned, though I expected a bit more. It comes with 2 sauces, and it complimented the crab finger.
- The oyster taco was served in a set of 3, but ideally, I believe 6 would be more appropriate given the pricing. It was crunchy fried oyster on top of a chip, yum!
Crawfish -
Previously, crawfish was pricier, but fortunately, we visited during a time of abundance. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of styles available. The crawfish came in various sizes, and the inclusion of corn and potatoes was a nice touch!
The Ultimate Platter -
The platter included two fish, a dozen shrimp, six fried scallops, and one softshell crab. Although it leans towards the pricier side, the fried seafood was undeniably delicious. While the quantity may seem substantial, in reality, it didn't quite match the price point. However, despite this, I believe every item was worth it as we thoroughly savored each dish. Additionally, we opted to add fried rice for a few extra dollars, and when paired with the crawfish sauce we took from the crawfish boil, it was simply amazing! Definitely worth a try.
Conclusion:
While the portion sizes didn't surpass our expectations, the food itself was outstanding. However, the disappointing aspect was the limited amount of sauce, particularly the cocktail sauce. Despite requesting more than 5 times, the serving size was akin to a nickel. Given the abundance of food we ordered, it would have been appreciated to receive enough sauces to complement our meal adequately.
