Yummy Sushi is a great name because the sushi was indeed 😋 - YUMMY! Got some fried rice and loads of sushi, the sushi had a beautiful presentation and tasted delicious. Oh yeah tried their "fried" ice cream, it was OK.

My first time here was a treat! Not a sushi girl so otdered Steak Hibachi lunch. Inexpensive and food delicious. I ate everything and should have taken some home. But so good. Kokomo served us and she was attentive and lovely. Will be back with friends and family. Thank you!

We tried this place for the first time as we were driving through. Very impressive. The green salad with ginger dressing is very tasty. Yes it's a weird bowl, but interesting. Not a big fan of the clear soup, but we were very impressed with the sushi rolls. Next time we're in the area, I'll have to swing through for lunch.

Some of the best sushi I have had in my life and I've had some great sushi from some amazing places! The service was quick, everything was presented beautifully and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere! I highly recommend checking it out. My daughter had ramen and said it was delicious as well! Oh also the prices are reasonable and well worth the portions.

Excellent sushi! Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna handroll, Rainbow Roll, Tuna Tataki all fresh and delicious. Got carryout this time to watch the Ravens and the Bengals win the last games of the regular season. Seaweed salad, miso soup and ginger salad dressing also great. I ordered the chicken teriyaki dish. The picture on the menu looks delicious with lots of vidggies on it. I was most looking forward to the Vegetables. What I receive was chicken placed over about half an onion, with two pieces of broccoli, no zucchini, and 2 carrot skin. The chicken and rice was very good but the vegetables we all barley cooked and almost raw. I couldn't eat the onion and I love onions when they are cooked. I asked the waitress why I didn't get as much veggies as in the photo on the menu and she Said, "... that's just a picture. More broccoli and zucchini is extra." I asked why my food doesn't match the menu and she just said she'd get me more veggies. The veggies that did finally come were also barley cooked. I think they just microwaved them. My family members who ordered the hibachi had veggies that were fully cooked and tender. I enjoyed the Chicken and rice I got but was extremely let down by the veggies. We spoke to the manager, Joe, and he made things right and took off my order.

Yummy Sushi is perfect for both a casual lunch or a fun date night! They offer a great variety of meals and sushi, with lunch specials that are an excellent deal. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the quality of the food is always top-notch. Definitely recommend it for a delicious and affordable meal!

I been wanting to check this place out for a while but it's a bit far. However, I saw the option in DoorDash. We ordered the white oak roll, cheviot toad roll and the dancing yellowtail roll plus a fried rice. The rolls were delicious! I loved the dancing yellowtail roll it was fresh and tasty. The fried rice was not the greatest it was a bit d Portions are good and worth the price.

The strip mall is a bit deceiving, but the inside is tidy and clean. The service was good. The sushi was very solid. Everything came out in a timely manner. There are entrees besides sushi if it's not your thing. Multiple Eastern styles. It's a good dining experience.

Worst service and experience ever! I used to love their sushi and would constantly get them on doordash. But recently it seems like they were dropping doordash as I wasn't able to place an order on it. I decided to come in here and have it fresh instead. Ordered the sushi and sashimi combo, ASKED her if I could have all salmon as I only eat salmon. And she mentioned, it's gonna cost like $1-$3 extra to have it all salmon. And I was like that's fine. And in the end! She came with a plate of assorted sashimi and sushi and when I asked her ain't it all salmon? And her response was we can't do all salmon. If you want all salmon you can order them individually. Like WTF?! Shouldn't you tell me about it before u made it?! You said changing it to all salmon gonna cost $1-$3 extra. So if you can't do it. Shouldn't you have the basic courtesy to let me know and confirm with me if that's find before setting the food in front of me and asked is that okay?! What do you want me to do at that point?! Tell you no, and u trash it?! I ain't one to waste food. Utterly pissed and disappointed in this BS!! Who promised a customer something and gave them something else and expect them to be cool with it! What kind of new scam is this?! I'm officially boycotting this store!! They don't even deserve a single star for this!!!! Update: she even have the audacity to charge $4 extra for all salmon?! All I got was 5 pieces of salmon! What BS is this! #boycott

I felt like I had to update my review since I've been here several times since the last review and I had purchased sushi for a party. The service was great as she was attentive with several dine in customers as well as carry out orders. I didn't take pictures of the sushi but it was good for my craving. I also had the pork ramen. I am no expert but theirs has a good taste and was filling. Other ramen places do things differently so it can be hard to say one is better than the other but it was good. The sushi tray that I purchased for the party was good and was displayed nicely considering it was in a plastic carry out tray. It was the chef choice and it was a great variation of sashimi, rolls and custom rolls. If I have a hankering for sushi close to home I will come here.

Definitely underestimated how good this place would be just because of the strip mall location and name sounded kinda cheesy... I WAS WRONG. Seriously so delicious! The service was great, good atmosphere, plenty of room for bigger parties and smaller families, and the sushi was amazing. We started off with some rangoons and edamame. Normally, when we order edamame out, it comes out barely warm and some pieces are great and some are limp. This edamame was piping hot and all the pieces were crisp and fresh. My husband and I spilt two rolls and that was the perfect amount for us. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying everything!

I hosted a group of 12 friends here, for our monthly cultural dine-out, and because I'd already tried the food out in advance and knew they'd have an amazing experience here. It's a pretty unassuming building in a strip mall, and the inside decor looks nondescript (until you look at the dramatic original paintings on the wall, that is). But -- I kid you not -- the bathrooms are visually impressive: spacious, warm & inviting . The service was friendly and efficient. One minor issue was that if you don't order as soon as the wait staff asks (because, well, all of your party hasn't arrived yet), then it does take a wait for them to get back around to you. But I can't quibble with that really, because once we ordered, the food came out quickly. I even loved the menus -- with colorful pictures alongside each selection. And -- for us picky eaters -- it separated the "raw special rolls" from the "cooked special rolls." Now, about the food -- fresh, fresh, fresh seafood, creatively displayed meals, inventive sushi, and some amazing house-made sauces, including the ginger salad dressing. I loved the kani salad -- who would have thought that crab and cucumber was a good combination? Other favorites (from this time and the last 3 times I ate here) are the salmon teriyaki (perfectly glazed), the sushi pizza, the crab rangoon, the shrimp bento box dinner, the speedy way roll, the snow roll and the rock shrimp roll. My friends absolutely loved the food also. Though the portions were plentiful, many joked that they didn't have any leftovers to take home, and left happy and satiated. Needless to say, I strongly recommend, as this is a hidden neighborhood treasure!!

I was skeptical ordering from this spot because of the large amount of menu items. I took a chance don't the high rating. The shumai I ordered were super, super crappy store bought. I've honestly have had better shumai from a 7-11. While I'm sure the profit margins are great on items such as these I feel it only diminishes the overall dining experience and the other quality items a place may be producing fresh and from scratch. Bleh.

Here's the thing, the sushi was good but not the best ever. The fried rice was expensive as get out. The service was mediocre most employees were on their phones. It was quiet with no one in the store besides me and my boyfriend. It was cute inside though.

Not the greatest. Gross yum yum sauce. The restaurant itself was odd, it didn't smell right in there (it could have just been something the day I was there). I definitely won't be back. The sushi was alright, but nothing to write home about.

Hadn't really found a sushi spot in the year since we moved to the queen city, but we have now! Yummy Sushi is just that... yummy. The super creative presentations were only out done by the freshness of the fish and the taste. Our valentine roll was a hit. Crunchy, spicy and delish. My wife loved her eel roll. The sashimi was delightfully prepared and very fresh. My only knock was the miso soup, which I found salty and lacking of enough tofu and scallions. (But not such to take away a star. ) The price was at the high end but not outrageous. I'm sure we'll be back soon!

Great ambiance, nice and quiet at lunch. Service was friendly and genuine. Food was beautifully plated and good portions for the price points. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be back.

Tried this location given that my other favorite Japanese restaurants were closed. The fish for sashimi was fresh which is really the most important part! Seaweed salad was good. The rice could have been better, and the sushis were too filled with sauces so if it's not your thing, ask for sauce on the side or less. Prices were on the higher end, restaurant ambiance was ok.

Ymmy Sushi, the name sums it all up. Seriously, the sush was very delicious. We came here based upon other reviews indicating that they had good experiences here. I believe it's only been open for a month or two. Inside was clean and modern, with friendly employees and management. Going against our norm we didn't pig out on sushi alone. We opted to share a hibachi dinner with some udon. It was absolutely delicious! We then ordered a couple rolls as an appetizer. Since it's a new restaurant, they don't have their liquor license as of yet....it's on the way they said. A nice Sapporo would have completed my experience. You can however bring your own bottle for now.

I would hate to complain about a restaurant when it might be a thieving Door Dash driver but it's kind of frustrating to spend $211 dollars on an order and not receive half of it. Celebrating my birthday and we choose this restaurant only to be screwed. Never again!

Northbend colerain hole in the wall - I've discovered after returning to this area that there are some great spots to eat and this is one of them. Has become our go to wednesday sushi spot - every roll is fresh and the fish quality is excellent. Additionally the edamame are well salted and delicious. Great tucked away spot you shouldn't miss.

I got the sushi and sashimi combo. My hubby got the chicken teriyaki bento box. Mine was 5 stars but his was 3 stars. Sushi was fresh and a good variety of fish. He only got about 3 pcs of slice chicken and a lot of just rice. I'll be coming often but he'll order something else next time.

We've been dozens of times and Yummy Sushi is fantastic! We order for small dinners and for large gatherings. The rock shrimp roll and snow roll are amazing. Can't go wrong with their seaweed salad or miso soup as well.

I don't give 5 stars lightly for sushi but yummy sushi is just that!!!! The menu has a large variety of interesting rolls & ingredients. We each got a different roll & tried each other's pick. Each one was unique & delishly crafted. They know their sushi here! We ordered gyozas as an appetizer and they were delicate & very tasty. I will be back sooner than later! This totally satisfied my craving for sushi which I haven't enjoyed since the start of the pandemic!

Great sushi right here in White Oak! It is indeed Yummy so properly named! It was a Thursday night and quite busy. Two sushi chefs (itamaes) were feverishly preparing and two waitresses were even busier! I guess they didn't expect the crowd but they seemed to get things done quick! I did have to take off a star since there's no bar (yet, appears to be on the way). Logistics aside, food was awesome! Look forward to trying it out again soon!

This sushi place is tucked in the White Oak Center on the corner of Jessup and Cheviot Rds. There is a LaRosas on a nearby corner and a Supreme Nut & Candy, a Servattis, a workout center and a Greek restaurant in the same shopping center. Inside, it is small but they play upbeat music and have quick service. I was impressed with the menu, as it included standard sushi-and soy paper options, along with hibachi items and salads. Crab Rangoon was decent but the sweet potato sushi was Amazing! We also tried avocado cucumber sushi rolls and they were delicious. Next time we plan to try the veggie fried rice and bento box. They also offer hibachi lunch specials!

This place has quickly become an all time favorite. Going in tonight, server, Sharon sat us at our usual table. We don't even need to give her our order anymore. She remembers and puts it in as soon as we walk through the door. Tonight we tried something new, Kim Chi Ramen. It was amazing, and as usual, beautiful presentation. Great mix of customers in there tonight. Families, young kids, date night, ladies night. White Oak Strip Shopping Center is tired, and needs updating, but the restaurant is wonderful.

We moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and have been looking for a new go to sushi spot--we've definitely found it in Yummy Sushi! You might never notice it just driving by the little strip that it's in, but don't be fooled! Yummy Sushi has a nice, clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly, YUMMY SUSHI! I ordered the Fuji Mountain Roll and a Salmon Hand Roll, my boyfriend ordered the Snow Roll and the American Dream Roll as well as an order of Crab Rangoon to share. Everything was so good and tasted fresh! We definitely can't wait to be back to try more.

If I were to write review on sushi alone it would be a 4-5 star. But Im rating all food. For starters I had the ginger salad that originally comes in iceberg lettuce, I asked for spring mix lettuce and it was $1 up charge, the spring mix was not exactly the spring mix im used to, no purple or red leaves just all green. The dressing was delicious a little watery but delicious (would recommend getting on side) lettuce was swimming. On to the Gyoza, was definitely not fresh made they were frozen kind and pretty greasy. As for the sushi very very fresh... the tempura was so light & crunchy. Absolutely delicious will definitely be back... hiking 45min to cloud 9 to wait for an hour probably wont happen as often, now that we have discovered this place. As for the atmosphere, very clean & neat. The menu has pictures which definitely helps on decision making.

We first went to this restaurant when they opened, right before the Covid shut down in 2020. We were impressed with the food and service but surprised they had chosen a west side location. (The west side has an undeserved reputation for being stodgy and unwilling to try anything new or different.) We are glad the restaurant weathered the pandemic and have been back many times, as a couple or with another couple or as a group of 6-8 folks. Service is always attentive. Prices are reasonable for very fresh fish. Food is always GREAT! We often order edamame or vegetable tempura for an appetizer. The former is perfectly cooked and lightly salted. The latter comes so hot one must allow it to cool before starting to eat it. We also like the aged tofu and the Tom Yum Soup. Some folks find this soup quite spicy. We like spicy food and enjoy it (and we do not think of it as being very hot, just nicely peppered.) Our favorite sushi roll is called "Sex on the Beach" and consists of shrimp, tuna, white tuna and red snapper on top of a roll made of avocado, crab and cucumber. They also have fully cooked special rolls but we prefer their raw ones. The menu has pictures of the food, as well as descriptions. The sushi and sashimi combo is big enough for two, especially if you have an appetizer, but we usually get two as a couple so we have leftovers for the next day. The restaurant ambience is similar to that of a coffee shop with lower lights but with tables and booths. The bathrooms, however, are far more elegant than anyone could expect.

This place has the best sushi in Cincinnati! They put that extra touch of quality and creativity into all of their sushi & meals. The staff is extremely nice and the restaurant is clean & well decorated. The quality of sushi, for the price is the best deal in town! A true gem on the west side of Cincinnati.

I live on the west side and wanted to check this place out. It's much larger inside than it looks from the outside. Modern decor and cozy seating to relax. Plenty of space between tables to give some privacy and elbow room, which is appreciated. Service was prompt/friendly and the food came out at the correct temperature. The sushi is large and entrees come in good portion sizes. All the food was really good and this is definitely a step up from the typical westside restaurants. Although this isn't my favorite sushi restaurant, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an overall impressive dinner experience.

This place is sort of a hidden gem! A must try. You won't be disappointed. They have high quality sushi, and presentation is something you'd find in a Michelin star restaurant. Their bento box dinner was enough for 2 meals. Have been back a couple of times already for dine in and carry out and the service can't be beat.

Great hibachi deal. Sushi wasn't incredible but still a good deal. Good amount of scallops and definitely up to par as far as hibachi goes.

OUTSTANDING food, terrific value - we do not understand others who have mentioned the price being high - on the contrary, we think the price was a very good value for the amount of food they serve - very reasonably priced compared to other sushi restaurants. And they have a wonderful selection of menu items. Beautiful presentation of the food. Will definitely go back again and again - this is a little gem tucked into a small neighborhood, very surprising. The atmosphere could be better, but hey this is Cincy, atmosphere much better than most places in Cincy.

An excellent sushi spot for American style sushi! We celebrated a birthday here with edemame apps. The sushi was beautifully presented with cute little extras and flowers and LIGHTS which melded it extra special! The vegetarian sushi was delicious and they were able to cater effectively to a larger party! Would definitely come here again!

Wow the sushi here is good. I'm vegan and was happy to see they have some vegan options. The sweet potato roll and peanut avocado roll were great. The edamame was a bit plain I wish they had spicy edamame. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Just went within the last week, always amazing. We had the bomb roll (by far my favorite), the castle roll, & edamame. Maybe 10 minute wait, if that, very kind staff and a nice environment. A very good date spot + parking is easy and convenient.

I finally got the chance to eat at Yummy Sushi. The name is very appropriate because it was really delicious. The restaurant is following all of the appropriate cleaning and social distancing practices currently required. The two ladies waiting on us were so very helpful answering all of our questions and making suggestions. We started with the appetizer of crab rangoon which had a really nice spicy dipping sauce. For the sushi we placed an order of Sushi Deluxe, Dancing Yellowtail roll, and American Dream roll. I have never had such beautifully presented Sushi. Even better than the presentation was the flavor. The fish was very fresh and the rolls had wonderful combinations. This is my new favorite and only sushi restaurant!

Food was great. We had 2 special rolls for appetizer. The spider roll and another crab roll maybe called snow something ? Both good but a couple pieces of spider roll had an off fish taste, for entree husband had 2 other rolls spicy cali and spicy crab- both great. I had chicken ramen. Very good. The place was clean staff was great and priced well. Definitely be back

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and this place didn't disappoint. We ordered a few appetizers and 5 rolls and everything was delicious. The presentation of the sushi was great and the service was wonderful as well. Will definitely return.
