Firstly DO NOT be fooled by their buy 1 get 1 free. It’s a lie. You will only get one order and it will change on your receipt in the uber app. Atrocious. On to the food absolute disaster. I had to recook it with seasonings and flavor.

The absolute worst food I've had delivered in NYC in as long as I can remember. I wish I had seen the negative reviews here because I agree with all that they're saying. This is certainly not Thai food, which my family loves. Instead it's like Chinese food with a little bit of Thai influence but everything is of extremely poor quality and just plain gross. The other person's review of the mango rice is spot-on. It wasn't just bad food, it was totally inedible. We placed an order of over $70 and when we called to complain they refused to give us a refund. I don't enjoy posting bad reviews but I really hope that no one else suffers like we did. Yummy Thai looks like it's a part of another restaurant next door that allegedly serves Chinese and Sushi. Stay away!

I order Gyzo and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp tast like it came out of a box. The gyro was oily.

I ordered the mango sticky rice.. and what came was a TON of rice drenched in a sweet soup with tiny cubes of mango, some pink fruit, and... raisins. This is nowhere near what mango sticky rice is. Also, they didn't even use sticky rice, this is regular ole hard grains of rice in a soup of milk. Disgusting.

i was a little concerned when my food arrived and it was a huge portion. worst thai basil ever had. extremely mushy with no flavor whatsoever . and not at all spicy. just a bland bowl of vegetable juice filled to the top .

Lunch right at noon. Food was tasty and normal size portions. No complaints here! Tom Youn noodle Soup, calamari, shrimp tempura and spicy tuna roll.

I have a gluten allergy and the staff are so, SO patient with me and my endless questions. I feel safe ordering from them knowing the level of care they put into making sure my allergy is accommodated, which most places do not. Thank you guys so much, I missed eating Thai food!

If I Could Leave Zero Stars, I Would - A Comedy of Errors (Without the Laughs) Let me save you some time and money: don't bother with Yummy Thai unless you enjoy bad service, missing food, and a side of rudeness. I ordered their buy one, get one free Pad Thai deal--added two to my cart, paid $26.65, and waited. I was only 20 minutes away, yet my order took over an hour to arrive. No updates. No calls. Just radio silence. When the food finally arrived, I stood outside for 10+ minutes trying to figure out where it was. I called the restaurant, and instead of basic customer service, I got attitude. The woman on the phone acted like I was the problem. I was simply asking where my food was--apparently, that's a crime now. Eventually, I find my sad little bag at the front desk--unlabeled, of course--and surprise! Only one Pad Thai. So not only was it late and mishandled, they also botched the order completely. When I brought it up, the woman says, "Oh, I thought you wanted one." Excuse me? Who in their right mind is spending $26.65 for ONE Pad Thai? "Not I," said the cat. When I pointed this out, she shrugged it off with a dismissive "Call Uber Eats, not our problem." No accountability. No apology. Just indifference. As for the food? Dry, bland, and questionably undercooked. If cardboard and disappointment had a baby, it would taste like this Pad Thai. There are plenty of Thai spots in the area that actually value their customers and know how to read an order. This isn't one of them. Total disaster from start to finish. Never again.

Food was NOT GOOD. There was a bug found in my food-still alive. Also there was some weird white strings found underneath my Angry dragon roll after closer Inspection. I do not recommend.

Awesome prices and very fast delivery. Lunch special includes an entree, a salad, an egg roll, and two shumai for less than 10$. Most of their noodle and rice entrees as a meal are also 10$ or less. Delivery came faster than expected. Their taste was a bit odd, basil fried rice and pad see ew were both very sweet. No heat at all in the meals. Veggies tasted fresh, and the noodles or rice were cooked well.

Cute decor, friendly service and good food. Been to a couple times. Not sure if the food is authentic Thai food, but it is flavorful

What do you think of as a standard Thai order? Pad Thai? Thom Kha Gai? Don't look here. Thom Kha Soup bears no resemblance to Thai cooking: no kaffir lime, galangal, lemon grass. It's bizarre and disappointing.

Did an online delivery service. The food is FANTASTIC! The pad see yum, pad thai , the sweet Thai chili wings, and the summer rolls were awesome. Loved the spicy feel and taste of the wings. The pad thai and the pad see yum were delicious, very flavorful and loaded with veggies and chicken(our choice protein). Nice sized shrimp on the summer rolls. Once lockdown is done and over, I have to visit this restaurant. Looking forward to it.

Enjoyed some Yummy Thai after a show around the corner. For the record they serve more than Thai food. It's actually all manner of Asian food. We ordered the crab rangoon, chicken pad Thai, & chicken satay skewers. The crab Rangoon was absolutely some of the best I have ever had. The Mrs loved her chicken skewers. Sadly, while the pad Thai was by no means inedible, it was not my preferred style for making it. So I was unable to fully enjoy the experience. I prefer when they make a thicker red sauce, or peanut sauce for the pad thai. This restaurant has a runny brown sauce. I really was not a fan. The restaurant itself is small, casual, & far from upscale. I would in fact go again for the crab rangoon alone, but not the pad Thai.

This is just not even yummy...it's just meh. The place looks like it's in the middle of a renovation or recovering from some damage they've experienced prior. There's a ladder upon entering along the wall, and maybe that was just the best place to put it? Not too sure about that one though... The staff seemed to be just okay - not too friendly, and not too caring either. My pad thai with chicken came out insanely, lightening fast! I was almost in doubt as to how it could even have been warmed up so fast, but thought better than to question that. The taste? Nothing really memorable of Thai...more like your average Chinese food really; more salt and MSG than anything. Sorry, more like "Boring Thai" then yummy.

Best papaya salad and Tom Yum soup I've had and I've tried the other Thai places around.

Not sure how this has 4 stars on Seamless. This place is terrible. I asked for extra spicy curry and it had no flavor and no "curry" - it was super dry. I also found a piece of hair in it- which made me lose my appetite. Definitely don't suggest this place.

OMG I am so appalled! I ordered through delivery.com a plate of mango sticky rice and a bottle of pinot grigio. I would've just gotten the mango sticky rice, but there was an order minimum and they sold wine by the bottle, so why not?! Anyway, the order arrived super quick, which was great. However, both items were terrible: -The mango sticky rice was really just a coconut milk sticky rice soup with rotting mini cubes of mango, raisins, and a mystery red fruit, all with an odd, savory flavor. Go ahead and do a quick Google image search of what mango sticky rice is supposed to look like and then look at my photo... -The bottle of pinot grigio was OPEN! And some of it had already been used! W.T.F.! Obvi my first thought was to call them and complain, but their phone line was disconnected. If Yummy Thai wants to deliver me an unopened bottle of pinot grigio, I'll give you a couple more stars and call it a day. Otherwise, I plan to reach out to delivery.com for a refund.

I got fooled by the FAKE Seamless rating (5 stars lol). The food was INEDIBLE. Not just bad tasting (which it certainly was) but I actually feared it would make me sick. Both this restaurant and Seamless should be ashamed of themselves.

The name says it all. Yummy indeed!!!! I'm really surprised by all the negative reviews on here. Kinda glad I didn't consult yelp first before ordering because I would have missed out on a wonderful meal. I even waited a day to write my review to see if I would get sick or something but I'm just fine. We ordered the basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice, both with chicken. We got the lunch special which also included salad, spring roll and what I think was fried crab balls? It was sooo good. The spring roll was perfection and not all greasy like some I've had in the past. It was so much food, I couldn't finish it all! It was also neatly packaged in a compartmental take out box so none of my food touched. It drives me crazy when my food mixes! It was my first time ordering so maybe I got lucky, but I will be ordering again! I encourage anyone reading this to give them a try.

I can't speak to others' experiences, but our order was accurate and arrived quickly. (And thank goodness, because this was St. Patrick's Day and we were in desperate need of sustenance after drinking our way through lunch.) I went off the GrubHub reviews, which -- in our case -- didn't steer us wrong! The Pad Thai and Green Curry were both great. I loved the vegetable variety in the latter and the spice level was just right, but I wish they'd provided more white rice (it came in a Styrofoam cup, not the traditional take-out container.) In retrospect, the Pad Thai was a bit dryer than I like, but the flavors were on point and the portion was appropriate. We also ordered a side of crab rangoon and "thai pancakes." I should have known they weren't scallion pancakes, but I hoped. It's the same dish - scallions + peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was good, but without scallions (or something!) in the dough, it's pretty flavorless. Would order again when staying with friends, but will stick to what worked!

Got Tom Yum, Thai Iced Tea and two lunch sets. The Tom Yum was way too watery and the flavour profile was a little off I ended up not finishing most of it. The two lunch sets were pretty good for the price though, I don't think the pad see yew was the best tasting pas see yew I've ever had but not bad at the price point and a decent amount of food.

Not good. I missed the yelp reviews before grabbing take out on seamless. Others reviews are a little extreme, but they're right, it's pretty bad. I originally gave 2 stars, but I have to drop to 1 bc the shrimp rolls (smelled bad) & soup (layer of oil on top) weren't even edible. They went straight into the garbage!

SO DISGUSTING!! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THEIR FOOD!! IT'S NOT REAL THAI FOOD!!! I just ordered their food from Uber eats since Born Thai is closed for the holiday. I ordered their spring rolls which their vegetables on the inside was oily and mushy. The coconut mango sticky rice had raisins and some red mysterious fruit in it which I've never seen before and it doesn't state that it had all that nonsense on the menu. At the same time, the rice was hard and under cooked. The pineapple fried rice had small pieces on pineapple in it, the shrimp was mushy and small, the rice was just disgusting. My daughter didn't even like it and she loves Thai food. If you want some real Thai food, try Born Thai, Ghong, and others but this place is not it!!

Seamless savior. Green curry with beef was excellent, rice was fragrant, and everything arrived on time and PIPING hot. The sticky rice with mango was a little unusual, but still tasty (I vote to skip it). I was rejoicing at having a go-to Thai place, but alas, they haven't shown up on Seamless as an option in ages! So sad.

I came in from out of town for the holidays and was looking for a good takeout option to have a fun dinner and movie night with my cousin. This place, only minutes away from the apartment, exceeded my expectations given the reviews. The food was amazing, which is why I felt the need to write this review! I'm so picky about my Thai food, a lot of Thai restaurants back in my home town are far inferior. Love the yellow curry and pad Thai!!

The food they serve is not Thai food. Just a cheap imitation (sweet basil instead of Thai basil, jalapeno peppers instead of Thai bird peppers, no fish sauce, bland/sweet curry paste with overly sweet coconut milk).

This place is amazing! The food is perfectly spiced. I ordered the red curry and it was abundant and so good. And their soups are all really good. I know a lot of Thai places and this is one of the best. I don't know why they don't have more stars. They deserve it! And the price is right, plus quick delivery.

Ashame! This place should have at least more stars. I frequent this establishment when I'm at work (but only when I'm in Brooklyn). Staff is very friendly. The joint is small but that's not the point!! Oh, the food is very good, people say it's bad but they have very high standards . I often tell people about my food and they get very jealous! But it's my secret. So I say four (4) stars for business, and friendly practices. Not a hangout! So don't think it's tony.

I've never taken the time to write a bad review before, but here I am. Because it was THAT bad. I ordered Pad Thai with Chicken and Red Curry with Chicken. The Red Curry was edible according to my husband. As for the Pad Thai, I had to add soy sauce and Siracha to it because it was one of the blandest things I've ever consumed. There was no sauce, the noodles were a light brown color, the chicken was pale white and the small chunks of tofu tasted like rubber. It felt like a chore just trying eat it. Never again.

It's been a while since I've wanted to hit the redo button or stick my finger down my throat to get rid of the nastiness I just ingested. My sister checked them out on Yelp and must have seen the newest review (4 stars) instead of the overall reviews and decided to order delivery from here. What a mess! The chicken wings were seriously bland, the grilled calamari were swimming in a sea of sauce (but edible), my sister's chicken pad see yu was bearable and then I had my pork pad see yu which was quite possibly the most horrific meal I've had in a long time. The pork were chunks of fatty meat that tasted like they were freezer burnt and the noodles were tasteless, greasy and overall awful. They should officially change their name to YUCKY Thai!

I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews, because the food is out of this world for such a low price! The savory pad Thai lunch special with an assortment of little goodies like shumai and a spring roll, along with a salad on the side brings the total price from $7.00 to a grand total of AWESOME! I will most certainly order again from this place in the near future.

Y'all sippin' on the Haterade or something? Yummy is yummy. And quick. And those are the things I take into account when ordering delivery. Cheap, huge portions, didn't charge extra for brown rice substitution, and came in half the time Grubhub said it would. Green curry was milder than usual. My friend ordered her pad thai extra spicy and she said it was just right, unlike some restaurants who assume everyone is super white and has never tasted a spice in their life. I'mma holla back.

If I had read these reviews before ordering from "Yummy Thai", I wouldn't be writing one myself. Unfortunately, we were going through our stack of menus calling every Thai restaurant asking for "no fish sauce" on Pad Thai. This was the only one willing to leave it out. Probably because, as the receipt gave away, this is actually a sushi restaurant. We got veggie spring rolls, which were crispy, but really didn't have much "veggie" inside (maybe a teaspoon of wilty cabbage). The papaya salad was not Thai at all, just plain raw green beans and rip papaya chunks (and tomato slices) with peanut sauce on the side which didn't go well with it. Maybe this is the "no-fish sauce"? The Pad Thai was edible, but just had a little soy sauce in the noodles, no vinegar or other flavors - I found myself wishing for that box mix kind - it's 1000 times better! And the Yellow Curry was actually ok - but it was basically just curry powder broth and vegetables. I don't know how this sushi restaurant keeps this Thai menu business going. I bet they spend more money on the ingredients for the Thai dishes than they could ever sell, and I don't think they'll ever get a repeat customer - especially not me!

Just ordered here for delivery...Was relatively quick (45 min from Flatbush and sterling place to 18th street) The food..disappointing I ordered Pad Thai (to play it safe) and received unseasoned soggy noodles and chewy chicken... I would not order Pad Thai again from here

Struggling to find a Thai restaurant in my East Flatbush neighborhood. Was thrilled to see a flyer delivered to my apt. And I was sooo excited to order. The menu looked sooo good. I was very hungry ordered and eating really fast until i realize how awful everything tasted. The cocunut shrimp, had no taste of coconut. Hellooo rename it breaded shrimp. The pineapple fried rice..blaaghhk was just awful. I wish i could rewind time. Awful experience. I can't get the taste out of my mouth. Still searching...so far i near me i have both a Chinese restaurant and a japanese restaurant that has 'Thai food' on there menu..but they were awful! Yummy Thai --Worst Thai food i ever ate from a Thai Restaurant. Stay away everyone! Oh how I wished I checked Yelp first.

It must've been Opposite Day when the concept of this restaurant was conceived. No taste, and cheap ingredients. Quite the opposite of yummy.

I ordered the lunch special for me and my sister plus some summer rolls (4 for 6$!) which ended up being less than 25$ after taxes and delivery. That's awesome. Delivery was free and took quite a while ( maybe 45-50min) . The food arrived at a decent temperature ( but not exactly hot). The summer rolls fell apart almost immediately and lacked every ounce of flavor. The peanut sauce honestly seemed like peanut butter mixed with water but with some clever ingenuity I made it edible. The fried rice was ok. It had much more flavor than the rolls. The lunch combo I had came with salad, shumai and a vegetable spring roll. I asked for veggie shumai and ended up with chicken. Luckily for me ( the non meat eater) my sister wanted to try it and informed me there was a sultry meat in there . Big no no . For the price it's great and I do believe it would be quick if you got take out and not delivery. But the taste isn't there.

How do you mess up Pad Thai?!?!? They've gotten me twice! The spring rolls are way too greasy and that Pad Thai is just dry ramen with tofu and peanuts sprinkled on it. I was hungry too....geesh! The time before this, we ordered a veggie meal from them and they brought one with chicken. When we told them about the mistake they interrogated us like WE had done something wrong with the food and the guy waited at the door for us to give the bad dish back in exchange for the correct dish. SMH! Never again....

I ordered take-out and it wasn't that good. I probably will never order here again given that there are so many other options available. I saw that other reviews were mixed so I wanted to see for myself. Tofu pad thai - had a funny taste, not like it had gone bad, but just, they clearly make it differently than every other thai place I have been too, and I didn't like it. It just wasn't very good. Also, know that if you order tofu pad thai, there will be almost no vegetables (unlike other Thai restaurants I've been to), but crap tons of tofu. Green tea fried ice cream: not very good, I think I wanted it to be sweeter...I can't put my finger on it, but something just tasted off here too. I LOVE ice cream but I didn't even finish this. Veggie spring rolls: Pretty tasty, as was the sauce that came with them. If I were to ever try this place again, I would actually order there. Overall, for what the food actually is, I would say this place is overpriced. I will probably not order here again unless I have no other options and am starving.

I've ordered from this place like 15 times. Every time- not one disappointment. The food is stellar! I am shocked at these horrible reviews, although I have never been to the location. I've always used Grubhub. They serve HUGE portions, super cheap and always a fast delivery. The food is always SUPER fresh and HOT. The shrimp fried rice is heavenly, and so is the thai basil, the pad thai is good (although I wish they used more peanuts instead of the shavings but thats just being nitpicky), even the thai iced tea tastes good. I literally have zero complaints. The food tastes even better than expensive places in the city. A++++++++++

I ordered from here the other day at work. I got their lunch special that included Thai Fried Rice, two egg rolls, a nice dipping sauce and two pieces of Tofu. My rice also had chicken in it. I really enjoyed that meal. I do not know why this place has such bad reviews, but I enjoyed my meal. I just got rice, so who knows if the rest of their food is good or not. It is pretty hard to mess up rice and spring rolls I guess. LOL! I will definitely order from them again. Rice for sure. Nothing else. lol

Ordered from this place on Seamless. They accepted the order, but food never came. Called after 90 minutes -- no luck, they're closed. No recourse, went to bed hungry. GRRR.

I was badly craving Thai food at work so I randomly chose Yummy Thai, which delivers to my location. I ordered: beef pad see ew lunch special, vegetable spring rolls, and shrimp dumplings. The shrimp dumplings were inedible. I took one bite and spit it out, my co-worker had the same experience when she took a bite. The vegetable spring rolls were bad, but not inedible depending on how hungry you are. They are mushy and have 0 flavor ... We threw those out as well. The pad see ew noodles and sauce we're good and hit the spot, BUT, the beef had an awful flavor, so I picked it all out. Will not be ordering from here again.

Just a good, standard Thai resto with A+++ vibes. Family-run spot, fast/no nonsense, but always warm and friendly when I'm waiting for my takeout. Places nearby may seem a little more straightened up, but I've really started to prefer it here. Not to mention prices are consistently a couple dollars cheaper for things like curry and noodles.

This is the WORST Thai food I've ever had. There was NO flavor. It was like eating plain noodles. There was no flavor to the tofu, to which they had two kinds mixed in. My friend ordered pork, and tofu was mixed in. All three in our party agree that the flavor was lacking and quite disappointing. However I do want to point out that delivery was fast and the delivery guy was friendly.

DO. NOT. EAT. HERE. I ordered Spring Rolls, Thai Chili Chicken Wings, Chicken Pad See Yu and "Thai Love". Spring Rolls tasted standard but were extremely soggy. The wings were also soggy and tasted like sweet and sour sauce - not Thai or Chili or anything in between. The Pad See Yu had literally NO flavor. Noodles and chicken both tasted like nothing at all. The "Thai Love" (which is supposed to be scallops, shrimp and chicken in a "special sauce") tasted exactly like standard Chicken and Broccoli from any local Chinese restaurant. Nothing special in that sauce or in anything else that we received. If I could give zero stars... I would. Negative stars even.

This is possibly the worst food I have ever eaten in my life, and I've had some bad food. The summer rolls looked like someone had stuffed some shrimp into a used condom and it tasted even worse. My green "curry" chicken was the most bland, rubbery and inedible dish, but I was quite satisfied by the overpriced tupperware that the food was delivered in. I've been using it for weeks! Point is, the food was as pointless as hipsters at a talent show.

Yummy Thai's name is misleading on two counts. First, it's the furthest thing from Yummy I can think of. Second, it's not Thai food. In fact, I'm not sure it would even qualify as food.

Read before ordering. Gross!! I wasted $16 on Thai spring rolls and chicken pad Thai takeout. Absolutely no flavor and full of grease. Disappointed. Spring rolls were greasy with no vegtables in them and the plum sauce was made of sugar and water. Chicken pad Thai were flat noodles in soy sauce and red sauce, no flavor and full of oil. Just don't bother with this place. The ready made thai in your local supermarket is better than this.
