Yelp
Solid spot for Taiwainese breakfast, as this was recommended to me and my boyfriend by a family friend. Their portions are huge here for a very reasonable price. Also they have a huge menu selection! It took us a while to decide on what to get. You order at the register, grab a number, then a table like a cafe. Then afterwards, you pay when you are done with your meal.
Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast, and ordered youtiao (Chinese fried doughnut), savory fan tuan (sticky rice roll with filling), vegetarian fried noodles, and taiwanese beef noodle soup. Their youtiao is huge! We made the mistake of not ordering congee or soymilk to go with it, so we snacked on it throughout our meal. The fan tuan came out fresh and piping hot; the roll was so big I had to take it to-go after devouring my noodle soup. Inside had some pork floss, egg, and preserved vegetables. I saw they had a sweet option, and I wonder what would have been in that one. I loved my beef noodle soup; it wasn't spicy like the menu had said. The beef chunks were tender and large; I took those to go since the entire dish was so filling. We did not order anything to drink, but they offered simple staples like tea and coffee.
I am sure in this area, there are a lot of Taiwainese cafes that serve these similar dishes. I don't go out for Taiwainese breakfast often, so I thought this place is good enough to satisfy the craving.
