Yunomori Onsen & Spa

This place has become my go-to spot for chilling and self-care. Even when they open at 10am, people are already queuing, and I always feel so welcomed every time I’m here. Their silk bath is my favourite, it has actually helped with my insomnia, and I sleep so well after every visit. This time, I want to highlight their Thai stretching massage. I highly recommend my therapist, Noknoi. Her skill is amazing, I even fell asleep during the session and the stretching part she did was my favourite, felt amazing and so relieving! Overall, every part of the experience is excellent: from the reception, yukata, massage, onsen, café, to the resting area. Truly a wonderful place to unwind.

Nothing beats a close to Japan onsen experience in spore. This would be the best place and a place u can fell like being in Japan. Love the atmosphere and environment. The fees is fair and finish off with a glass of milk or cold green tea There is steam. Sunna hot dip and food and massage

Yunomori Onsen is a good place to enjoy and hot and cold baths for relaxation, a resting area. I love to soak in the bubble bath to recover from muscle aches and have a good sleep. Perfect escape from busy schedules to regain your energy. The staff are friendly and approachable, esp counter staff will always greet with a smile.

Hi, I’d like to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to Yunomori Onsen Spa. This was my second time visiting and I really appreciate the relaxing environment you provide. However, I noticed several hygiene and etiquette issues that I hope management can address for the comfort and safety of all guests. Many customers go directly from the steam room into the onsen without showering or rinsing first. After the steam room, everyone is sweaty, and entering the onsen without rinsing makes the water feel unhygienic. I hope staff can remind or brief all guests to shower each time before entering any bath, especially after the steam room. I also noticed some guests entering the onsen fully naked with visible pubic hair and not wearing the disposable underwear provided. This can lead to stray hairs in the water, which affects the cleanliness of the facility. It would be helpful if staff gently reminded guests about wearing disposable panties when appropriate. Additionally, some guests brought children and large groups, and the noise level became quite high. Since the onsen is meant to be a peaceful, quiet space, clearer reminders about keeping voices down would really help maintain the relaxing environment. I hope management can look into these issues and provide clearer instructions and reminders to customers before they enter the facilities. I enjoy Yunomori and would love to see these improvements implemented for a better experience for everyone. Thank you.

I come to Yunomori Onsen regularly with my child, and every visit is truly enjoyable. The staff always greet us with such warmth, kindness, and bright smiles, which makes us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The facilities are consistently clean and well maintained, creating the perfect environment for relaxation. The food at the restaurant is also delicious—far beyond my expectations every time. Overall, I’m always extremely satisfied whenever we visit. It has become one of our favourite places to unwind and spend quality time together.

This was my second visit to Yunomori, and I added on a 90-minute Thai massage with Linda. Her massage was incredible, despite choosing a strong Thai massage, I was still comfortable enough to fall asleep several times. Highly recommend looking for Linda! I’ll definitely be returning to book with her again. The food at the café was great too; I had the ochazuke and really enjoyed it. The onsen was relaxing and comfortable as always. I do wish there was a sauna in the female area, but the steam room is a nice alternative.

It's been awhile since the last time I was here and the entire experience is still nice, but left slightly disappointed that they have started to cheap out on small things, e.g.1 there used to be body lotion, scalp serums and hair oils at the dresser area after youre done with soaking but now there is only lotion. E.g. 2 Used to have a water cooler in the lounge room but now they dont have that anymore and you need to buy mineral water from the cafe or get from inside the onsen These are small things but it's what made the place felt more luxurious previously.

The best spa experience I’ve ever had! Everyone was welcoming and helpful with it being my first time at a Onsen. Loved all of the baths they have to offer. They have a sign to show you which order to do the baths depending on what you’re interested in. Now the massage I got was the best massage of my life!! Linda my massage therapist was fantastic and I highly recommend her!! She made my body feel brand new and relieved areas that I’ve been struggling with! Can’t wait to see her again and will be going again very soon! They are priced extremely well too! If you are thinking about visiting do not hesitate!! Go and enjoy the relaxation!!

This place bills itself as "the first authentic super sento style Japanese Onsen in Singapore". To a large extent, it delivers - with one obvious flaw. In fact, in some ways, this beats most authentic Japanese onsen, primarily because of the variety of pools. So comparing the entrance price ($40 with GST) with that of the average Japanese onsen is not going to be a fair comparison, simply because you're getting more at Yunomori The men get 8 pools and rooms: 1) Soda Spa 2) Jet Bath 3) Bubble Bath 4) Silk Bath 5) Onsen/Hot Bath (labelled as the former onsite and in the brochure as the latter) 6) Cold Bath 7) Sauna 8) Steam Room The female side (yes, like virtually all onsens this one is gender-segregated, for better or for worse!) has all of these except for the sauna and onsen Missing the latter isn't much of a loss though - it was my least liked pool as the water was a light purple colour and didn't have the right smell (i.e. the characteristic sulphur odour of a real onsen). And that is, I'd imagine, the main reason most people visit onsens That said it was still a good experience as I got to experience various sorts of baths most Japanese onsens lack (you'd probably have to go to an onsen theme park for 1-4), even if the water pressure was weak for the jet bath (where everyone gets his own mini-pool to lie in and be massaged by water jets - this was definitely not up to the pressure of even a decent jacuzzi). I'm not sure the dissolved carbon dioxide in the soda bath or the dissolved hydrogen in the silk bath did anything for my skin, but it was nice to try different sorts of baths Besides the variety of baths, the mostly non-Japanese patrons also made it different from Japanese onsens: - They can't ban tattoos in Singapore (unlike in many onsens in Japan) so quite a few were on display - It was sometimes noisy (I'm told the female side was very noisy because people were there with friends) - Some patrons wore the modesty garment (a flimsy black cloth that didn't really cover much, a concession to local sensibilities even though in Japan clothing is not allowed); I'm told this was more common in the women's side since most of them came in groups - the men seemed mostly content to be nude, even if many self-consciously covered up with the small towels - Some patrons were disgusting and put their towels in the baths, had their long hair floating in the baths or went in without washing themselves So if you feel or would feel restricted by the onsen etiquette in Japan, the more casual atmosphere here might appeal to you I was impressed by some of the little touches - the toilet had rubber slippers outside, and was equipped with a Japanese-style bidet with 2 modes - for rear washing and for feminine washing. Unfortunately it didn't have the more advanced functions, but there was only one cubicle so the running water sound maker was not needed and who needs a seat warmer in Singapore anyway? Unfortunately, maintenance of the facilities wasn't as good as it could've been though. Although it had been officially opened for less than 8 months, many of the pools had chips, stones and loose tiles at the bottom, and the ceiling at the showers outside the sauna and spa had some discoloration and some ants crawling around. I'm told the female side was alright, though Also, the dressing area, though well stocked with combs, cotton buds, moisturiser and hair gel, was rather cramped, and the lockers weren't very big (backpacks probably wouldn't be able to fit). I counted 138 lockers, and there were at most a quarter of that number - I'd imagine that at full capacity one would not have a pleasant time Yunomori also can be a whole day experience, with features not found in many Japanese onsens - there is an onsite cafe which is quite cheap, and a decently-sized rest area with long couches one can recline or even sleep on (I counted 25 in all). The food at the former seemed decent - the Green Tea Cheesecake was quite good, even if the Hokkaido Milk ice cream had some ice crystals but was otherwise good being rich and milky. The flip side of all these facilities is that you're not allowed to leave the premises (except for a quick smoking break), but one can take a soak, have a nap, eat a little, and then go soak some more, which makes for a nice relaxing afternoon

I have never been to an authentic Japanese onsen prior to visiting this new site that opened at Kallang Wave Mall last month. I have been to plenty of Korean ones however (jjim Jil bang or mok yok tang) and can report back that there were many similarities. Yunomori just opened a month ago and has clean facilities, kind customer service, and thoughtful details to ease initial barriers to this cultural experience. Everyone gets a RFID digital locker key which also serves as your tag for F&B charges during your stay. I understand that some Singaporeans were appalled by the traditional Japanese culture of entering these single gender onsens without any bathing suits. Yunomori has helped address this concern by offering free disposable underwear to be worn, if desired. They also provide two towels, a Japanese robe, and toiletries inside so you do not need to bring anything with you. The communal areas (where people walk around in the provided robes) include a Restaurant/Cafe as well as a Resting Area which is a room filled with reclined couches, blankets, and dim lighting. Entrance fee is $38/pax for an unlimited stay during the day. Additional options for massages and spa treatments are also available as add-ons.

Phenomenal discovery for me, a Japanese onsen in Singapore! It has multiple baths, clean and nice. Yukatas are fresh and clean, food at the cafe was very good. I highly recommend it when you are in Singapore.

Hard to get appointment on weekends, phone calls to book slots unanswered for hours, walk-ins no slots. Bought a package that could not get enough slots for almost 2 years and they don't allow extension unless you buy more ( and cannot get slots ) but instead encourage you to write into CASE.

This place is the perfect place to go if you want to escape the stress every where. The staff there are super nice to me, the food was superb and to top it all off the Onsen was amazing I could just spend my whole days there.

When they first announced that Yunomori Onsen will be opening up a branch here in Singapore, I had my doubts that the concept of an onsen in hot and humid Singapore is going to work. However, based on the success of the Bangkok branch, I've decided to give this place a try anyway. On stepping into the onsen (you have to take the escalator near the NTUC), you will be depositing your shoes in the shoe locker located at the entrance. From there, you will be checked in by their friendly staff. Note that the waiting time for checking in is far greater in the weekends and public holidays than weekdays. You will then be given an electronic tag, which serves as the key for your locker. The onsen is gender separated of course. Upon entering the locker room, you will be given a yukata, as well as disposal underwear. Wearing the disposables is optional, which is a nice cultural touch because Singaporeans tend to be more reserved. The locker area is slightly small and cramped, so be prepared for some squeezing during peak hours. Entering the actual onsen, you have to take a full shower to cleanse yourself before stepping into the bath. So make sure you clean yourself really well. The baths are of several varieties, ranging from Soda Bath to Jet Bath, each has it's own unique properties. The ladies onsen does not include a sauna, only a steam bath. The sauna is only available for guys. Upon exiting the onse, one may get changed into the provided yukata and enjoy the relaxation area, or have a Japanese style meal at the restaurant. Funny thing is, since the restaurant is located inside the premise, it means one will have to dine without shoes! It takes a bit of getting used to. The restaurant does not accept payment when ordering, they will instead scan your electronic tag and you pay for your meal upon checking out of the onsen. Massage is also available (this is a spa after all). You can choose between Thai massage or aromatherepy oil massage. Entry is $38, with food and massage charged separately. Be careful when you have to leave the premises because the $38 is based on per entry basis, not per day! So technically one is able to remain in the onsen for the entire day for that price, as long as they don't leave the premises. Overall very enjoyable experience, and I look forward to visiting Yunomori Onsen again!

First headed back in 2016, was convinced by current besties. You know -girls? DAMN, that was a good place. The Onsen is separated into 5 types of baths that are huge enough to have a mini pool party. And they have a steam bath too! You will be given a Yukata (Jap robe to tie yourself to relax at the lounge), a large towel and a small towel. If you need to cover your tits and furries, feel free to ask for disposable garments! Yea, it's free - not too transparent. Here's the deal - the Onsen is separated into two paths. One for female and another male, nobody likes to shriveled dicks swishing in the onsen. 1) place your sandals or stuff you wear on your feet in any lockers and lock it. (cox weirdo might steal used feet sheets?) 2) Go to the counter and order 'Onsen'. Pay for the Onsen (first) and if you want to pamper yourself further, take a notch up and get a massage. YEP relaxing and pain-free massage. (Extra charges are applied if you do take on the massages): Note that there are some packages too. ~~~~You will be given a red waterproof electronic wristband (Which Is The KEY To Your Locker in the Onsen) - *WEAR IT AT ALL TIMES) ~~~ 3) Head into the female Onsen and you will be greeted by a bunch of friendly female staff. Stuff your crap into the locker given and start stripping! 4) Shower in the bathing area and oh did I not mention that they also provide fragrant shampoos, conditioners and bath gels? (P.S It's Japanese style - so if you have watched enough anime or read enough manga, you will have a rough idea on how the area looks like). 5) Once done, pls feel free to step into the luxurious Onsen and take your pick. You have the entire day for yourself now and waste not! `~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wait! You are hungry?? Love, there is a cafe adjacent to the ONSEN, wear your YUKATA and step out to the cafe. Be indulge with the wide variety of Japanese cuisine and chill in the sleeping lounge. All you got to do is choose the type of food you want to commit to and tap your Yunomori Wristband. The wristband is allocated to you personally, thus wrong billing and privacy is not a concern. Once you have fully enjoyed your day, get dressed and head out to the main counter. Return the wristband and pay for the food. Voila, now you have the shoe locker key, time to head home!

Just like the ones in Japan. And nice restaurant, too. My favorite is the Soba set. I am excited to visit this spa again!
