Dongdaemoon market style foods. You can share this one big bowl with 3 adults at $18. And recommending to add toppings such as sweet potato fries and deep frying dumplings. It’s a bit different with traditionally known Korean style spicy rice cake but it’s up to your tastes and preferences. Interior was simple with minimum decorations but it’s not an issue. Staffs were kind and they had good communication.

Having tried the yupdduk in LA, it is safe to say this is different and not in a good way. The sauce is watery which is awful and the sausage is taste like the cheap kind sold in the Asian store. They don’t even make the effort to roll the tuna Mayo rice ball. Disappointed.

All my friends warned me not to go to this place, saying that the quality of their rice cake was very disappointing. I still wanted to give this place a shot because I really loved eating at Yupdduk in Korea. After finally trying them out a few days ago, I was quite saddened by the terrible quality of their rice cake, the mushy and cheap-tasting fish cake, and the tiny amount of mozzarella cheese. Rice cake was the worst, they were all cracked and had the texture of melting rubber. The sauce was the only bright spot, which tasted very close to what I had back in Korea. This place really needs to use better quality ingredients. It shouldn't be so difficult. The employees seemed very polite and friendly though.

My husband and I randomly walked into this place for lunch while out and about. While we didn't know what Tteobokki was, the service and food was absolutely amazing!! The cashier there was super friendly and offered things for us to try. He was also super patient when we were trying to figure out what to order as we never had this food before. We highly recommend this place!

First time trying Yupdduk with my husband and it was soo good!! When you are craving something spicy this is the place to go! Very clean and nice service. If your Not good with spice like me go with extra mild. Mild was still spicy for me and my husband.👍😊

I love their food!!!! I went with a group of friends, and ordered three different spice levels(very mild, original, and challenge). All three were incredible! The owners are so sweet. Will defiantly be back!

I haven’t eaten Yupduckk for five years and have always craved for it since I moved here from Korea. Glad to find this place, but it gave me a big disappointment. The sauce was not at all close to the original and the worst part was the texture of the rice cakes. They’re slippery and rubbery. The quality of fish cake and sausage were also low. Even one dollar Dukkbokki on the street will be better than this.
