Amazing small bites. Great for sharing. I love the salmon rice. Ensure to order it at the beginning as it takes 30 minutes. Make sure to look at the specials, too! Amazing sashimi and other dishes like braised pork belly.

Food was definitely solid. I can attest to the slow service but at least they were polite and attentive. Didn't get a chance to take a photo of the salmon ikura taki gohan. I've had their mushroom version and it was so much better. I think I just don't enjoy salmon that is overcooked in that rice. Came here cause I know they are closing and not sure if I was thoroughly satisfied. But at least not disappointed. Good luck with your next endeavours.

Food is delicious but I'm not sure if it's worth the price or the service. Zaru tofu is $11. Chawanmushi is $16 with a very tiny piece of sea urchin. Also the menu says it takes 30 minutes to serve plain $12 rice (!). It's been 50 minutes but it's yet to be served. EDIT: It's been over an hour since we ordered over 40 minutes since our last order was served.

Food sucks, service was horrible. What Japanese place doesn't add dashi to their miso soup... honestly that's elementary Japanese cooking. this place is horrible, save your money and look elsewhere. Came here for Valentine's day dinner 2019, had their pre fixe menu, it was the worst food ever. The crab tempera entree was an appetizer at best and came with one half a crab legs, not even a whole leg, just half the appendage. For three people we were given 12 small pieces of warm sushi which was such a joke I posted a picture of. The sushi rice was hard and dry, not soft and airy. The entire menu came out with part missing and literally everything was out of order. I got the entree second to last, the appetizer where the entree was supposed to be, it was an absolute horrible experience. For $120 a person THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF. Don't make my mistake and come here. A 5 course meal with dessert is going on two hours now, and yes I'm sitting here at my dinner writing a review because service is so slow and bad. I'd give it zero stars but i can't and I even feel horrible giving this place one star.

Delicious food, great service! I loved the zaru tofu (not pictured). Wine was pricey but the overall experience was well worth it.

Despite short staffed today, the service is great and the food is awesome and perfectly executed. The shio koji specialty is greatly appreciated. We truly enjoyed!

The food here is great. Traditional Japanese cuisine that goes far beyond sushi. We come often and we love it. A little on the pricey side, but you pay for quality. I read other reviews saying the service is terrible. I disagree. The servers and the owner are really nice and attentive. It is a bit slow, it's true, but most of their food is cooked from scratch. For example their rice cooks for 30 minutes. Again, quality takes time. Give me slow food over fast food any time.
