Went here with friends for dinner. The food was excellent. The stir-fried squid and ground pork were perfectly seasoned. Definitely superior versions of these dishes. Both the chicken dishes were flavorful, too. The mango sticky rice was delicious. Was simultaneously savory and sweet. As for the drinks, I had the coconut juice, while friends had Thai milk tea. Consensus was the drinks were good. One complaint I have with the food, though, is the serving size. It was especially noticeable with the curry. For the price, it could be more. On a separate note, service and atmosphere were okay. If you do plan to go here, definitely keep the food as your primary motivation.

Authentic Thai food, good service and clean environment at reasonable price! Absolute favorite was the pork jowl salad but it's not really a salad so get a bowl of rice to go with it. Very spicy!! Save some room for dessert. I forgot the name of it but it's like a crispy banana crepe. edit: The spicy rib soup needs to be ordered ahead of time (as well as some other dishes so ask when booking) but I was unimpressed with the spicy sour broth which had no subtlety, just sharp sourness and extreme spice.

A small but warm restaurant. It is not packed at all. It was a pleasurable dining experience. The spicy Thai food served here comes with a taste of freshness. My personal favourite is the crab. You can pre-order it when you make your reservation.

Small cozy authentic Thai food can ordered not too spicy. Many unknown Thai food worth a try it’s delicious Shrimp vegetables with leaves 🍃 wrap, spare ribs volcano 🌋, banana 🍌 pancake 🥞 highly recommended from main stream Thai food

The crab was good, very unique. The banana pancake is kinda disappointing. Most ppl recommended it but it tasted very regular to me, the banana was not sweet and the pancake was not crispy. The grilled chicken thigh was very regular too. The spicy grilled pork salad was not bad but a little too salty. Overall I feel it’s a little bit overpriced. They charge for 10% service fee in addition to the total price.

ZAAP is probably one of the most authentic local Thai flavor in Taipei I’ve ever had! We were blown away with the taste on every dishes (pics) except the PaiTai (was on the sweeter/moist side)! Will definitely come back to visit for other signature dishes soon.... 🤙

Authentic Thai foods, well prepared and delicious. It’s a cozy restaurant for small groups and reservation is highly recommended, especially some items require preordering. They only accept cash payment and close at 9:30pm.

We love this place. The food was like in Thailand. We ordered the ribs which were perfect!!!! Sour, spicy and deep in flavor. I just would like it to be spicier haha but I highly recommend this place.
