Zabb Thai & Sushi

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was efficient and fast. We had a great first time and will definitely come back! I high recommend this Thai restaurant in Davie.

The mixture of Thai and sushi actually works effectively with this restaurant. To combine, lettuce, wraps and sashimi is not easy to do. We had several appetizers, which were enough to fill up and shared one of the most decorative plates I’ve ever seen. Fruit in a champagne glass.

First time visiting this place. We ordered mostly sushi and appetizers, and everything was fresh and well-presented. They have lots of items to choose from, and I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, and the service was pretty fast.

One of my top go to for sushi and thai food. Very welcoming enviroment. Big variety of food ive had almost everything here and its delicious. From the sashimi sampler to lobster roll to regular rolls. Fried rice and noodles. I love that their fried rice comes w pineapples and walnuts. Def recomend thai donuts w vanillas ice cream. Def one of the best spots in the area

ALL the food was great, many of the dishes tasted fresh (most seafood dishes and the sashimi) while their fried rice, pad thai, and chicken satay (skewers) had an adequate umami flavor. Their friendly staff which were very kind, however there was a man cleaning plates from our table and not bothering to ask if we were finished with our food.

This was our second visit. The food and service was excellent. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent service staff. The best calamari I have ever had. Will return soon.

This place was a delicious lunch treat during a long workday. I just missed the lunch salad/soup bar. The customer service was impeccable. The Basil tofu and charred salmon on rice was delicious. Looking forward to trying this place again and seeing how the pas see ew tastes.

It's actually one of my go-to places now for sushi! I really enjoy the torched salmon belly sushi, sweet shrimp amaebi & tom yom soup! I do think the sashimi slices are thicker than usual but it definitely fills you up. I also enjoyed their chicken fried rice and beef pad see u. Those are both tasty items and ofcourse the Thai tea. Prices are average, not too expensive. I love the staff here. The service is always so quick and super friendly. Shout out the sushi chefs, Mary, & Ann. Super sweet gals. I love how clean this place is every time I come here.

One of the best Thai spots in Broward. Their prices are fair and portions are huge. I was able to make my pad Thai two meals. The service was great and made sure we didn't have any but allergies and did not keep bothering us. It was busy but I did not feel like I was forgotten and whenever my water was getting low they were there to refill it. It was also very clean. I would say the menu seemed authentic Thai food.

One of my favorite Thai experiences. The food isn't going to blow you away but it is consistent and has lots of value The service has always been efficient and as an Asian man. That's what I'm all about! An oriental, clean and fast paced dining experience. But great with friends or by yourself

I have ordered from here over 10 times and every time the food is amazing. The combo of Thai and Japanese gives you so many possibilities to order! Whether it's in person or to go, it always comes out correctly and on time! The service is top notch even at busy times. The decor is pretty standard for an Asian place. I ordered the sushi and various plates all equally good! Definitely my go to Asian food when I'm around home.

I came here on a Friday night, and it was very busy with lots of customers. However, the service was surprisingly fast. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, received our menus, and I really liked the wide range of options. The menu offers a mix of Thai and Japanese dishes, providing a great variety. The food was pretty good, and everything came out quickly. The service was especially impressive, as the staff was very attentive and efficient.

I absolutely love going to Zabb! We'd normally order take out, but this time we wanted to sit down for a quick date night. All their rolls are chunky & the meals come in a huge plate. Most times we cannot finish our meals, so your money is spent wisely & you have food the following day.

UPDATED REVIEW: Great lunch special - Chicken Teriyaki, sashimi, rice and veggies with an unlimited salad bar $13.95. This place was very busy during today's lunch. The server was friendly. I loved watching the sushi chefs making their fresh creations. The manager was constantly walking around removing plates from tables. I was extremely full when I left. The men's bathroom was modern and clean.

Have been here several times given I lived in close proximity to it. It's a casual Thai/Japanese restaurant, though I personally think their Thai food is much better than their Japanese food. Service is pretty friendly, and it's nice that they have gluten-free options and protocols available, especially someone like myself who has celiac disease (strict gluten-free). I have tried many things over the years, including various noodle dishes, curries, appetizers, and some rice dishes. I think highlights include the pad kee mao as one of my go-to items. They're cooked in a delicious sauce and it is sufficienly spicy. For gluten-free folk, I recommend the soft tofu as I believe their fryer is contaminated with gluten. I didn't particularly enjoy the veggie sushi. While I can't say it's the best Thai food I've had, it's reliable and can satisfy a craving.

Delicious! We had the fried Bok Choy, crab ragoons, 4 seasons roll, tuna roll, watermelon jalapeño salad, pad Thai and drinks. All the food was delicious and the service was great. We also had sake and the lychee saketiniz Highly recommend this place.

Once again our go to Thai never ceases to go beyond expectations in every way. We had some guests and started with sushi, miso soup, coconut soup then pad Thai, Panang curry and house rice. All absolutely delicious, fresh, tasty and good size portions. Service as always excellent. Amazing how they are one of the best at everything every time.

I am a regular here both dining in and taking out. I have never had anything bad here and i've been here countless times. Service is always quick and polite. It's a quiet, well ran restaurant. Food is honestly some of the best thai food in the area; even the sushi is amazing. This is one of the only spots i'm comfortable with regularly getting sashimi at. You can't go wrong with any menu selection: curry, sushi, noodles, dessert, etc! Their lunch specials are also definitely worth coming for.

Love everything here, they have a great lunch specials, service is very fast, and they have my favorite wonton soup in the area. I have tried their sushi as well as items off of their Thai menu and you can't really go wrong either way. The only item I personally didn't care for is their fried rice.

My friends and I were craving some Asian food and were drawn to Zabba Thai & Sushi after noticing its impressive Yelp ratings. It turned out to be a great find! We began with drinks: I opted for a Diet Coke and the Lychee Saketini. The Diet Coke was a bit watered down. The Lychee Saketini - made with lychee juice, sake, and a whole lychee - was tasty, though it lacked the alcoholic punch I was expecting. My friends experienced similar issues with their cocktails, which were somewhat lacking in flavor. However, for $8-9 per drink, it's hard to be overly critical. For the main course, I ordered the Pad See Ew with beef, a dish featuring stir-fried flat noodles, eggs, and Chinese broccoli. This was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening - the flavors were authentic and well-balanced, and the beef was perfectly tender. The portions were generous, making it an ideal dish for sharing. Of course, we had to end on a sweet note and ordered the Thai donuts. They were so soft and perfectly drizzled with condensed milk. The service was good. Our party of four was seated promptly, and throughout the evening, the staff remained attentive and efficient, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. All in all, while the cocktails could use some work, Zabba Thai & Sushi delivers excellent food and great service, making it a solid choice for Thai cuisine enthusiasts.

When I walked into Zabb Thai & Sushi, I was immediately struck by the casual, no-frills vibe. It's clear that this place is all about the food. I was immediately impressed by their extensive menu. With so many Thai and sushi options, this is definitely a place worth returning to. One of the highlights of the evening was discovering how affordable the drinks were. Beers for $4-5 and cocktails around $9? That's almost unheard of these days. I ordered the steak Pad Thai noodles, which came in a generous portion. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and there was plenty of steak mixed in. I also tried a few bites from my friends' dishes such as the Panang Curry, Pad Kee Mao, and Pad See Ew. The Pad Kee Mao is another standout dish I would consider ordering next time I am here. We finished with classic Thai Donuts, a perfect sweet treat for sharing. Service was attentive, and overall, Zabb Thai & Sushi offers a solid dining experience that I'd be happy to revisit.

Our favorite spot for Thai food once again revisited this time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I must say the food quality is still the same very good. And well balanced. service was very on point although today was a little bit busier therefore we didn't get as much as attention as we other times we do, the place was always vibrant and welcoming.l, great vibes. Ordered take out from here tonight and was happy to find some yummy food after getting into town late. They made it super easy to order my shrimp Pad Thai online and set the pick up time to exactly when I'd be passing by. The portion size is insane! I barely made a dent in the dish, it's super packed in there with tons of flavor!! My only critique is that the shrimp had tails on them, which I was not expecting. Other than that, if I find myself in the Fort Lauderdale/Davey area again I'll definitely order from them!

My friend and I tried this place Saturday evening. It was the first time for me. The server gave us quick, friendly, and efficient service. I ordered a curry dish and chose tofu as my protein. They were able to adjust the spiciness of the dish. I requested mild, and the sauce was mild but yet flavorful. I enjoyed my dish, the only thing that wasn't good, was the onions in it were rubbery and had a strong flavor, like they were not sauteed with the rest of the dish. The place is clean but has a very causal vibe. Our dishes arrived very soon after ordering them. This place would be a good place to go, if you are a bit short of time. I would definitely come here again.

I absolutely love coming to this place for their lunch specials. Today I went in the afternoon with a friend and we were set immediately, they have a pot of miso soup continuously on the burner and fresh ginger salad for everyone who is partaking in the lunch special to help themselves. It's so reasonably priced for what you get, I chose the chicken fried rice Bento box with the sushi special, it came with a few pieces of Nigri, seaweed salad, chicken fried rice, crab Rangoon, salad, and soup. It came out within just a few minutes and was fresh and delicious, the service and the ambience are a great pairing for these affordable lunch plates. I will definitely be back soon.

Very good Sushi and Thai restaurant. It has been around for many years and its food is consistently good. Service is always fast and friendly, and they have an extensive menu. Lunch specials are not only available during week days, but also on Saturday and Sundays with extended hours. Prices on lunch specials are very reasonable. The dining area is not too big, but it is comfortable and always kept very clean. There are also a few seats available at the Sushi bar. Definitely a place to try if you are in the Davie area.

Arrived without a reservation and somehow got a seat very quickly. The staff were friendly and the place was packed! We enjoyed our food. Everything arrived correctly. My 1YO loved the crab fried rice which had REAL crab on top. My favorite was the crispy baby bok choy. Yum. Parking was free. We will go back again.

It was busy when I came here for a weekday lunch, but we were quickly seated for 2. They had a lunch menu and a buffet to grab miso soup, salad, and fried wontons (I think). There were various dressings to choose from for your salad. I ordered the lunch-sized red curry with tofu and rice. It was full of flavor and delicious! Service was quick here. The inside was open and modern. I would recommend to come here!

Lunch special is top tier! There's a mini soup & salad available during lunch and everything is always stocked and tasty. The menu has many options & the portions are more than comparable to the price. Service is ALWAYS excellent. I have visit multiple times, shame I didn't review sooner. The food was so amazing. I had vegetable fried rice which was a whopping portion for the price and very fulfilling. The veggie spring rolls are really good. The service is top tier! The fish burn roll is one of the newer rolls and is very good, the seared tuna really gives it a special taste. The ambiance of the restaurant presents a family oriented vibe and a very pleasant experience. 10/10

I'd say one of the better sushi spots in Broward excellent service and excellent food. Excellent drinks. It's probably in my top three spots I've ever been to.

This place! Never disappoints. It's located in a busy shopping center. Just off the 595 and pibe island. Lost of parking available. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Service is fast! The waitress was lovely. We came here for lunch. They open at 11:30am. I like to come on weekdays. They have unlimited salad and miso soup! I was disappointed to see that's not available on weekends. Zabb honestly doesn't look like much on the outside; even though I've passed it a million times since it's right off the highway, I never really thought about trying it. I went with my friend since it's a go-to of hers, and I'm glad I did! It looks a lot nicer inside than it does outside, and is the classic example of "can't judge a book by its cover." The menu is huge; with so many options across different types of Asian cuisine, there's something for everyone. I ended up getting chicken pad Thai. It was really good and the portion was absolutely massive. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, and I had leftovers for days. I can definitely see Zabb being a go-to.

Absolutely loved this sushi spot! Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented rolls, and the flavors were spot on, the boba tea is amazing! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

First time stopping by with my coworkers and we were all extremely happy with the food from this location. Mary was really nice providing great service as she suggested items from the menu. The atmosphere is relaxing has it has an open kitchen so we can see the sushi being made. Seemed like a hot spot for lunch, we even ran into some other coworkers unexpectedly that spotted by for lunch. Definitely recommend stopping by

Appetizer of krab Rangoon and drink were fantastic. The soft shelled crab plate special was gross - overwhelmed with stuff on top and even though it was fried it was majorly soggy. Yuck The dessert of Thai donuts also amazing However, they started to clean the floors or something with so much fabuloso while I was there that it was all that you could smell. Overall it was not a great dining experience

This place never disappoints! The drinks are strong, the portions are huge, everything is fresh. They have a huge selection. They're open pretty late and it's very affordable. The pad Thai is also awesome and so are the Thai soups. The lychee martini and the Tokyo tea are great also

I love this place everytime I go. I've never had a bad time here. It's a small Thai and sushi restaurant. The food is great the service is great all the time. It does get a little packed on the weekend nights but I've never waited for than 15 mins for a table. This time around I did sit at the sushi bar and it was great ! Highly recommend coming here. I've had almost all the rolls and my favorite is the dragon and rainbow. And their chicken pineapple fried rice is just so good. The environment is also very chill. Nothing crazy.

What a wonderful experience we had there tonight for a work-night birthday gathering. The food was full of fresh flavors and layered as true Thai food should be. We started with soups. I had Tom Kha and my son had Tom Yum. Both were authentic and delicious. I had a crispy seafood salad as an entree that was a perfect choice. My son had beef pad thai that was lovely and good sized for a meal (and leftovers.) His friends had various curry dishes that they raved over and all of us finished our meals. The waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. I can't think of anything wrong except I found it difficult to find following Waze directions once we pulled into the main plaza. It is on the outskirts of the plaza and not easily found for first time diners.

My first time here, I picked up some Thai red curry (5) with fried tofu and white rice. The people were kind enough to wait during closing time for us to find the place because we got lost on our way there. The food was hot and tasty; they definitely hit the mark on the level of spiciness requested. I would come again. Gomen, no pics for this.

We came here to celebrate my husband finishing his college semester as we wanted to try this place dining in. We had actually ordered from here once before for delivery, and we were really impressed. The exterior looks quite small, but the interior took us by surprise. It's beautifully decorated, and the inside is spacious with lots of seating. For our appetizer, we ordered the beef satay. The beef was extremely tender and seasoned perfectly. It was a struggle for me to eat off the skewer stick, so I had to just take it off with a fork, lol. I ordered the chili paste stir fry, where the portion size was absolutely massive! It's described to be spicy, and despite being delicious and flavorful, it didn't seem spicy to me at all. Not that I mind- but I know some people would probably be disappointed. Our dinner ended with an order of thai donuts topped off with confectionary sugar. One bite, and they were soft and warm inside. Absolutely amazing. They're good for a sweet tooth without feeling overwhelming sweet. Zabb Thai & Sushi is a great spot for either a quick lunch or a filling dinner. The staff here was awesome, too. I'll be back again either by dining in or takeout, no doubt.

Wow. Best sushi and prices in the area. Waiters and staff are SUPER attentive and on top of everything. They will go beyond your needs. Food comes out fast. This place is always busy and I'm happy for them. I recommend any salmon rolls super fresh

Ive been coming here for a few years now and i have introduced a few others that live it too. Almost always eat in unless its Sushi which travels well for takeout. Yesterday i had a craving for their delish Garlic prawns(you can get other sauces but the garlic my fav) it is 5 large fried prawns nice and crispy served with veggies, i dont like broccoli so they are nice to sub in bok choy for me.it is sooo good! The staff there is very friendly and eat it or takeout service is equally good. When i got home instead of the usual fried shrimp with sauce on top making mushy i saw they had packaged it all separate. Loveeee when places get it right! Thank You Zabb for your anazing food and staff! My belly was happy

Just wow! I stopped in on a Saturday night after spending 12 hours getting to Ft Lauderdale, and honestly chose Zabb for its proximity to my hotel vs anything more strategic. It was busy, but we were still able to get a table for two in under ten minutes - a lot of their business seemed to be takeout, even though the space is cute and parking ample. The menu was huge, and the variety of cuisines listed made me a little nervous- often trying to do much means everything is mediocre at best. I decided to do sushi, while my dining companion chose stir fry. We started with edamame (warm and perfectly steamed and salted) and spring rolls. But the showstopper was the sashimi combo I ordered- the sashimi mori was a huge portion served over ice with a conch shell. Someone even stopped at our table to ask what it was, it was so pretty. And the fish was glorious. Tender and flavorful with a side of pleasantly hot wasabi. The sushi rice served alongside was some of the best I've had in the US. My companion's sweet and sour stir fry was also delicious, it just pales in comparison to the sushi quality and presentation. I'm digesting my food as I write this, and already plotting to go back during my trip.

I just moved into the neighborhood and was crazing some Thai. Came to Zabb because of the high reviews and it most certainly lived up to the expectations. Very tasty food and great service. Came in on a Friday at 4 pm and service was kind and quick. As an appetizer I ordered the dragon roll which was Huge! Wasn't expecting so much. It was great value and delicious. I also ordered red curry with tofu and one again I was happily surprised with the portion size. As a dessert, I ordered the mango sticky rice. My server said it was homemade and I decided to try as I have never had it before. It's not overly sweet and I really enjoyed the flavor. For all my food and 2 glasses of wine, my bill was $59. Which I thought was worth it and a good deal. Place is clean and welcoming. Service is great. Will come again

Nothing to say Nothing to say never ate there, but I heard the food is good sushi supposed to be very good. I'm trying to get there sometime next week. I see what's going on. I'll let you know what happens. I heard the food is good and the service is good like I said I'll see what's going on next week when I go there. how long have they been in business? Is it family owned if sushi is real fresh they should have no problem staying in business so we'll see what happens. i'm gonna see if I can go with a couple of people maybe about six people and really see what the services and everything should be good after that.

We picked this place on the reviews. Places really need to realize that Yelp reviews are so important to their business. The amount of stars makes an impact on when I'm picking a new place. This place was nice from the get go. They answered the phone and she was polite and sweet. The food was delicious. I ordered pineapple fried rice with tofu. I will definitely order again. There is plenty of parking and easy to find. Food was ready as promised and packed nicely. The reason for four stars is my husband's dish he said was a little dry. Portions are huge. Prices good.

Very disappointing as this app had it with a good score. Their order app never did say our order was ready for pickup. The portions were small. My tempura roll was half the size of every other place I get rolls from and the taste was lacking. My ramen was poor. Next to nothing in it, Noodle, an egg and broth only. The egg tasted and looked old, the broth was weak with no flavor and tasted like it was made from soup base not a good slow cooked broth. The house fried rice was weak as well. Little flavor and very little meat. The only thing it had was huge chunks of onion, some 2+ inch chunks. Not appealing at all. Will not go back and waste my money eh here.
