"At Zaddy's in Politan Row, the sandwiches are so big and hearty that eating one feels like a CrossFit workout for your jaw (but in a good way). And the portions are generous enough to save half for dinner. The turkey sandwich, loaded with thick-cut, smoked turkey breast, greens, and jerk mayo, and the lemon pepper tuna sandwich, a nod to Atlanta’s favorite seasoning, are both excellent. But the real standout is the grilled balsamic veggie sandwich, stacked with chilled eggplant, zucchini, roasted tomatoes, greens, and vegan jerk mayo—easily one of the best vegetarian sandwiches in Atlanta." - jacinta howard
"It’s not a stretch to say our city will put lemon pepper seasoning on everything. Just know it actually works on Zaddy’s Cajun lemon pepper tuna, since it’s a slightly citrusy, spiced-up take on an old-school tuna sandwich and the thing to order here. Although the food stall in Colony Square’s Politan Row only offers a few sandwich options, they’re all phenomenal thanks to big fluffy multigrain bread, generous portions of meat, and their signature tangy jerk mayo. That includes their vegan sub with plant-based mayo, roasted eggplant, and peppers, which is also one of best things to eat in the whole food hall." - juli horsford, nina reeder
"After a tough work day, the last thing you need are more decisions to make. The food hall at Politan Row in Colony Square is full of hard, equally appetizing choices—from pho to curry shrimp patties, so let's make an executive decision. Head to Zaddy’s, which takes your usual sub favorites to new heights with brilliant flavor combos that we've never previously imagined between two slices of bread. The Cajun lemon pepper tuna sandwich and carrot cake bread pudding is our favorite meal to turn your midweek mentality from “f&ck it all” to “it’s almost Friday.” And with an array of table options, you can decide if the day calls for fresh air on the patio or a comfy sofa seat by the bar." - demarco williams, nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard

And we love it. That signature tang combines with a slightly spicy jerk mayo to give this sub sandwich a little zing without overpowering the tuna. photo credit: Courtesy of Zaddy's Grilled Balsamic Veggie Normally vegetarian sandwiches read like a run-of-the-mill salad with really large croutons. But not this one. The grilled thick slices of eggplant are meaty, chilled, and tender without getting mushy. The thick, soft multigrain bread would laugh at crouton comparisons and a heavy splash of balsamic plus a spicy jerk mayo brings the medley of other vegetables to life. Grilled Chicken This is a solid choice if you want to play it straight. The sub has a thick grilled chicken breast that’s kept nice and moist by the spicy jerk mayo. Plus, mixed greens and red onions help keep this traditional. photo credit: Courtesy of Politan Row Pastrami Grill This sandwich has the thickness of a copy of Gone With The Wind because of how many slices of pastrami there are in between the pressed rye bread. Melty cheddar cheese and a zesty house slaw doused in 1000 island dressing give this sandwich plenty of can’t-stop-eating-it flavor." - Nina Reeder
