Zafron Restaurant

I sought out Rumi's Kitchen to learn they were closed for renovation. About 2 lights later is Zafron and it was the Persian experience I was craving. We had the eggplant app, specialty zafron app, the koobideh, chicken tandoori, grilled shrimp, and one of the gin cocktails. Everything was delicious! Service was great, food is authentic, and the restaurant is lovely. So glad I found this gem. Highly recommend.

Went this evening with my family and it was hands down one of the greatest experiences in a restaurant I have ever had! Our server Joseph was attentive, polite, and very knowledgeable. Even the manager, who was busy making cocktails, made it over to our table twice to make sure everything was perfect which it was! Highly recommend this establishment and it blows Rumi’s out of the water by far!

Sean did an amazing job explaining the menu to us. He also had amazing service and was extremely attentive. This was our first time here and we’ll definitely be back!

An unplanned date night became a wonderful experience for my husband and me at Zafron! We have been several times before and have always enjoyed it. But on this occasion, we were more impressed than ever. We started with hummus and pita, and I considered the baked cheese for an appetizer, but the server got away from us before I placed the order. Shortly thereafter, my husband and I decided on a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, it was not available. It wasn't long before the manager appeared at the table with a bottle from his stock from the same winery, though a different varietal. He gave us the same price as the bottle we selected, but the bottle he provided would likely have been higher. He also suggested the baked cheese as an accompaniment, which delighted me given I had been thinking about ordering it. It was delicious and the wine was outstanding! When we received the bill, my husband noted that the cheese was not listed. My husband called attention to its absence to the server, who told us the manager said it was on the house. What a class act! We would not have expected that, but what a lovely treat. The food was great, the atmosphere was excellent, and the customer service was exceptional. We will certainly return!

My visit to Zafron in Sandy Springs was truly amazing! The staff was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. The food was outstanding—every dish was bursting with authentic Persian flavors, making it an unforgettable dining experience. And the dessert? Absolutely heavenly! It was the perfect way to end the meal. I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of their incredible menu!

I'll start with the good things. The entrees are superb. The salmon as well as vegetables were grilled to perfection and also seasoned well. The ambience was also really nice. The Zafron Special tasted nice with the pita bread, but was essentially like a mango pickle to me. The not so great things. Service was very slow, even though there were barely any people there. We asked for hot sauce with our entree twice, but never got it. Lastly, we had the pistachio roulade for dessert. It would have been great, had it been fresh. The cake had lost its moistness. Overall, I would recommend the appetizers and entrees, but be prepared to wait.

We had lunch at Zafron restaurant yesterday, and it was our first time there. The food and service were amazing! I rarely order salmon dishes because most restaurants overcook it, but the waiter suggested it after I mentioned I was in the mood for fish. I'm so glad I took his recommendation—the grilled salmon was fantastic! The seasoning and the temperature were perfect. We also tried the prime rib, which I really enjoyed as well. If you like spicy food, definitely try their special Zafron appetizer—it pairs wonderfully with the bread

I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and will certainly come back. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The curved dining booths are great for groups and allows for n sharing meals if you desire to do so while having conversations. Everyone there had great attitudes and were very helpful.

Service Sean d was very responsive Atmosphere excellent. Beautiful relaxing. Food similar but better than yalda, but yalda always has too noisy. Food: delicious starter Mirza ghasemi (and eggplant dish). Mains: lamb shanks. 2 zafron chicken. (One regular, one without marinade for my low salt diet). Shrimp kabob; joojeh kabobs (Cornish Hen). Everything fantastic/delicious. Get the jewel rice with the dishes. Will be back

We recently dined at Zaffron, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.We tried the Kubideh, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender perfection, served with fragrant saffron rice and fresh accompaniments. Every bite showcased the authentic flavor and care that clearly goes into their dishes.Overall, Zaffron delivered a memorable dining experience, and we'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone who loves flavorful Persian cuisine paired with top-notch service.

The food was good though not as delicious as Rumi's. Pricing was relatively high for portion sizes. Lamb kabobs were a little tough and bland. The beef kabobs were delicious. However, when we went in on a Saturday lunchtime there was one server for the entire restaurant. Another server appeared and helped clear and box leftovers at the very end after a very long wait for assistance. I completely understand if they were unusually short staffed but no one attempted to explain the situation. The server was practically throwing things down on the table and rushing away. Unfortunate service for a $75 lunch for two people....

3 lifelong friends...3 birthday celebrations at Zaffron every year for the last 10 years. Food and service is always A+! (I always get the lamb shank... delish!). The complementary birthday dessert is amazing. Start your birthday traditions now.

Wow what a wonderful dining experience. Everything tasted impeccable. The salmon was perfection . The service was superb. The atmosphere is upscale yet cozy. Definitely looking forward to coming again for a dinner and trying some drinks and other things on the menu.

I said I wouldn't come back because my first experience wasn't very good, but I'm glad I gave them a second chance. We were greeted when we walked in the door and taken to our table immediately. The server came very shortly after and brought us sparkling water, on request. I can't remember the names of what we ordered, but we had the goat cheese and tomato that was warm, served with pistachios and olives. I believe this was the number one food of the evening and it was delicious! We also had the Zafron salad with the warm goat cheese and it was also delicious. The Smokey eggplant appetizer was made perfectly and the portion was larger than expected. My wife had a vegetarian dish, which was like a stew, and said she loved it. The chicken kabob that my daughter had looked great and I had the tenderloin for my entree which I thought was ok. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the chocolate cake. The tiramisu was only okay, but the chocolate cake was absolutely delicious. Overall, our food, especially the appetizers, was excellent. The service provided by Brandon was also excellent. This evening was completely different than my first visit 2 years ago. I'll be back!

Among the various Persian restaurants I've been to in ATL, this has to be least favorite. Taste of the main dishes was satisfactory but not amazing that I'd come back. Though the dessert of the Pistachio Roulade was very disappointing, and would not recommend. The service was decent, however after ordering it was difficult to get someone's attention. The ambiance was decent but nothing extraordinary. It's probably a one time visit if you're curious.

Another great Persian restaurant find. This time was Zafron, located conveniently close to the Sandy Springs PAC. One huge plus- free parking out front! The inside was a calm vibe with good, but soft, music. Once we ordered, our service was speedy. We split the hummus appetizer which comes with warm pita and I had the shish kabob that is resting on pita and comes with rice. All were flavorful. I look forward to returning to try more of the menu.

Food is good under new management. I really like the new chicken tandoori that they brought. Overall it is a good persian restaurant in sandy springs

I went to Zafron for dinner. It's an authentic Persian restaurant. The ambiance is really amazing and romantic. Although the ambience is romantic, I would classify it as a casual dining establishment. People were wearing jeans. They start by giving you a complimentary appetizer, which includes cheese, tomato, walnuts, and 2 type of herbs with pita bread. We started with the wings and the baked goat milk feta cheese. The wings were very flavorful and they come with a spicy sauce. The baked goat milk feta cheese was one of my favorite items. It does come with a pistachio in it, so if you have a nut allergy please note that. The warm cheese paired with the pita was fantastic. For our cocktails, we ordered Watermelon Jalapeno Margarita and the old fashion. They were delicious. It was quite a wait for our entrees. The server said he put the order on hold instead of sending to the kitchen. For entrees, we ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the Lamb kabob. I wasn't a fan of the dill rice, but if you like dill you will enjoy it. The lamb kabob had potential, but tasted very gamey. It's served with basmati rice with raisins in it. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate mousse and the ice cream sandwiches. The mousse was delicious, but I was not impressed with the ice cream sandwiches. Overall besides the wait, I enjoyed my dining experience.

Wonderful food, great service, inventive menu. Wish I lived here so I could come more often. Such inventive rice dishes. Mine had cherries and butter and perhaps vanilla. Yummy.

Looking for a close Persian option , we found this Santa Barbra styled Persian restaurant. Casual styling and friendly staff. 1) The silverware was a bit challenging with its style over function. 2) the koubideh was dry and burnt. 3) the bargh kabob was of a strange non Persian spiced flavor. 4). Grilled tomatoes were not ripe and still firm and flavorless. We wanted to really like this place, but it just wasn't meant to be based on our experience.

Normally, I'm here for lunch. Decided to try dinner on my way back from being in hectic ATL . Nice quiet place to come to relax after a hectic drive like that! It is always good not to over price maybe one or two dollars over what I would expect, but has been consistently tasty! I ordered them for like a box this time instead of the lamb but definitely wanted the lentil Dash raisin rice, my favorite! Always asked for the special Mediterranean system called sumac It had to additional layer of flavoring. They will bring it to you in a special wooden box and you dish out. Whatever you need. I usually need at least Two per bite! I really like this mediterranean seasoning it adds additional layer of flavor to everything I added, too!

Our group of four enjoyed Zafron Restaurant. This is a good, more casual and slightly more affordable alternative to popular Rumi's Kitchen, which is just a few blocks south on Roswell Road. Zafron serves Persian food. We heard good things about it, so we decided to check it out and left pleased. Zafron is located in a freestanding building across the street from Sandy Springs City Hall. It was previously known as Flavor Restaurant and years before that, Flavor Cafe Bakery. Flavor completed its rebrand as Zafron in March 2015. The restaurant has its own free dedicated parking lot. There are a couple other small businesses on-site, but the lot is mainly for Zafron customers. We visited for lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was busy, but not slammed. I got the feeling that a lot of locals like this place. I booked our group's reservations using OpenTable, which I like because of the dining points I can accumulate to redeem for restaurant discounts and Amazon gift cards. Resy and other booking platforms don't offer rewards for dining out. Inside, the dining room had nice, but not lavish, decor from floor to ceiling. We sat at one of several curved booths that ran down the center of the space. There were multiple seating areas including a fully-enclosed patio in the front and a semi-private large group table, next to some wine racks, in the back. This place appears equipped to handle big parties. There was also a bar, pastry display, and a small outdoor patio. The lunch menu, which is available weekdays only, had a good selection of dishes to choose from. They included several of the dinner and weekend staples like Lamb Kabob ($25 lunch, $32 dinner) and Zafron (Barg) Chicken ($14 lunch, $26 dinner). Exclusive to the lunch menu are the wraps ($12 each), where you can order a small variety of Zafron's meats in a wrap with veggies. That said, I think you can order off the dinner menu during a weekday lunch if you want. That's what I did because I wanted to try both the Tenderloin (Barg) Kabob ($20 lunch) and the Koobideh Kabob ($15 lunch). Our server told me I could get both if I ordered "Soltan's Feast," which is only available on the dinner menu. I actually got a lunch price for Soltan's Feast, $25 vs $35. I presume Zafron's portions are smaller at weekday lunch. Here's what we got: Starters * Mirza Ghasemi ($8) - smoky eggplant, tomato, onion, garlic, extra virgin olive oil * Muhammara (Hummus) ($6) - red bell pepper, garlic, cumin, walnut, extra virgin olive oil Entrees * Khoreshe Badenjoon ($12) - eggplant and tomato beef stew, subbed a veggie kabob for basmati rice (+$5) Feast * Chenjeh ($20) - prime sirloin kabob served with braised green beans in a tomato sauce mixed with basmati rice * Fire Roasted Salmon ($15) - marinated fresh salmon served on a bed of "zafron," fava beans, and dill rice * Soltan's Feast ($25) - combination of one Koobideh kabob (ground brisket) and one Tenderloin (Barg) charbroiled filet mignon kabob with smoked tomato and "zafron" basmati rice Everything that I tried was good. Our meal came with complimentary pita bread, fresh raw vegetables, feta cheese, and walnuts. The veggies included slices of radish, cucumber, and tomato, plus herbs like basil, mint, and tarragon. These were nice to munch on with our meal. All of the dishes were presented beautifully. Both of the starters were tasty. The Mirza Ghasemi was served in a cast-iron pan. The garlic was fried crisp. Both the Mirza Ghasemi and the Muhammara had nice texture and flavor. The Muhammara wasn't the best I've had, but it was still good. The Chenjeh and Soltan's Feast were yummy. The sirloin (Chenjeh) was a little too salty, but otherwise fine. My favorite was the Koobideh (ground brisket) Kabob. The meat was tender, moist, and flavorful. Really savory. In contrast, the Tenderloin (Barg) Kabob was somewhat dry. It tasted much better with a sauce. The Chenjeh came with a white sauce. I think it was a yogurt sauce, like tzatziki, but my wife doesn't think so (she's better at identifying foods/ingredients than me). Our table was also given a side of tangy sumac powder/spice. The various rice dishes that accompanied the meat and fish were appetizing and satisfying. I liked them a lot. The veggie kabob that we had subbed in for one of the rice sides was big, hearty, and impressive. It came stacked tall with charbroiled eggplant, squash, zucchini, mushroom, red bell pepper, and white onion. Unlike the meat kabobs, the veggie kabob was actually served on a thick metal skewer. The meat kabobs were served off-skewer (normal). Service was on point. Jannifer was our server and she was great. She was very nice and attentive. The other staff we interacted with (hostess, other server) were polite. Despite a busy weekday lunch service, our entire order came out in a reasonable amount of time. I would return. The business name "Zafron" is a play on saffron, the spice widely used in Persian cuisine.

Hit Zafron's for a small group lunch. The food was great! The staff was patient with us as we had more than several questions about the menu. Would definitely come back!

Full disclosure: ordered take out. The staff was friendly. The environment was nice. The food however. Lamb Chops - undercooked at a tough rare-midrare, strongly over seasoned with oregano and under seasoned with salt, skimpy portion for the price, and most disappointingly the rice tasted straight out of a rice cooker. The texture absolutely sucked. It tasted stale. Joojeh Kabob - overcooked and dry, small portion for the price, flavor was ok but again the rice epically failed. Beet salad - dressing sucked, but fresh and ok. With so many great options in the area like Rumi's Kitchen and Yalda, I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would come here and pay the same price for such subpar food. Those two places absolutely blow this place out of the water, like McDonalds vs HF Burger. It was seriously this disappointing.

The food was ok. Nothing wrong with it but nothing exciting or exotic about it either. Service was slow but ok. Ambience just ok too. Quiet despite the place being pretty full when we arrived. The check seemed big but what check isn't these days. Except I checked later and saw I had not only been charged for an extra glass of wine but the tip had been added although the waiter failed to mention this. So I tipped twice. Not the end of the world. But the end of our visits to this distinctly mediocre restaurant.

Went here on a whim with my sisters since our brunch plans failed. This was recommended by her neighbor so we gave it a shot. They were pretty empty for Sunday lunch. The ambiance is definitely classy but we were all wearing jeans and felt like we fit in with the current diners. Dinner service might be a different vibe. We were seated right away. We ordered the Mirza Ghasemi as a starter. This was served with a basket full of pita and a plate of herbs, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and walnuts. The dip itself was delightful and smoky. We LOVED that we got tons of pita though! For my entree, I ordered the vegetable kabob with the most delicious rice. Some veggie pieces weren't cooked as much as others but nevertheless delicious. My sister ordered the chicken tandoori and it was very flavorful and grilled to perfection. Then my other sister ordered the dolmen stuffed cabbage, which was also super flavorful. Service here was great and we didn't have to ask our server to refill our water glasses. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

We had a late dinner. Arrived 50-55 minutes before closing. Very suspicious about try new cuisine. Tried to order a drink to start and was told by the waiter, "Bartender is gone for the night". Not, "Sorry sir, the bartender has left for the night." I though his approach was rude and most restaurants make a good revenue from the bar. Maybe it was to close to closing time. We just ordered water. Waiter brought the water with no ice. My wife calmly explained, it was our appearance. She always looks beautiful but I was in shorts. Hmmm. I saw a gentleman explaining the different dish to another table and got his and asked about ordering a drink. He said he would see to it we got our drinks. When the waiter return, I asked him for some ice for the water and he told me that the manager would be making our drinks. Manager came back to check on us and explained the dishes we ordered. That's good service. The food was great. I still tipped 20%+ just because I know the waiter didn't expect it.

Absolutely love this place! It's in a great location in sandy springs. They have plenty of free parking which is always a plus in atlanta. The waiters were super nice and attentive. We started with some wine. For appetizers, we got the hummus and the warm baked goat milk feta. It comes with warm and delicious pita bread! The hummus was so smooth and flavorful. We loved the flavor combination of the baked feta as well! It's a must order! For our entree, we split the lamb kabob. It was a ton of food! Lots of meat and a large serving of lentil and raisin rice on the side! The lamb was so juicy and tender. We are big fans of this place! Can't wait to come back to try more of their appetizers and entrees.

One of our favorite middle eastern/persian restaurants in the city! It is very cute and nicely decorated, giving it a more upscale feel. They also Definitely have the best lamb chops we have ever had. The dips and spreads are amazing, we are obsessed with the baked goat milk feta cheese! That is a must try. They have great cocktails as well. We were so impressed with how good everything was! So many great options, and thankfully the service is awesome and provided great recommendations. We will definitely be back, especially to try brunch!!!

3 of us had a wonderful meal at Zafron. After braving the crowds and noise of City Springs on a busy Saturday, we discovered an oasis just across the street! The our friend had a wonderful salad, I had a tasty appetizer trio, and my husband enjoyed a beef stew. Everything was excellent--especially loved the red pepper hummus! And the bread (pita?) was different and wonderful

Zafron is a good Mediterranean (Persian) restaurant. My buddy and I came for lunch, busy for lunch time but not overcrowded. My order was Shish Kabob which was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and a side of rice. Generous portion too. My buddy had the flafel platter which he really enjoyed. We skipped appetizers today, but had more than enough food. Great service and not rushed. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant is located in busy area of Sandy Springs near Roswell Road and Johnson Ferry slightly OTP. Easy to spot as they have a big sign out front. Plenty of free parking. Worth a visit and will repeat. There are several other Persian restaurants nearby, which is good for us, as the competition makes all of them better.

I've been to Zafron a few times for lunch. Zafron doesn't quite have the fanfare and glamor emanated by any of the Rumi's outposts, but for Persian/Iranian cuisine, it has always been a solid bet. For our most recent meal, we got the mirza ghasemi and muhammara to start. Both were excellent. Sometimes, because they are appetizers, it is easy to forget how filling they can be in their own, particularly when consumed with the bread and the complimentary sabzi. I particularly appreciated the presentation and taste of the two dishes. For entrees, we got the Zafron chicken and the khoresh karafs. The chicken was great as expected - well cooked and satisfying. The khoresh karafs was a vegetarian dish, and it was more of a risk given that it contained some ingredients that I didn't think would necessarily go well together (portobello mushroom, artichokes, etc.), but the waitress said it provided for some unique flavors and that it was "herbal" and "earthy." She was right. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Separately: If you're in the mood for some hot sauce, Zafron has its own homemade version...reminiscent of habanero. It is quite spicy, but if you are in the mood, ask for it!

Delicious! Sandy springs is such a cute area, there's free parking and the drinks are good. Service was quick and our waitress had lots of good recommendations. I loved the decor, there was nice lighting and seems like a good place for groups!

Upon walking into Zafron, I loved the decor with all of its flora and fauna. My friend and I were promptly seated for our 6pm reservation and perused the menu. We started with the Persian kiss cocktail and the watermelon jalapeño margarita, which had a nice presentation but was light on the liquor. Our waiter brought us bread with zabzi complimentary. The bread was hard, stale and crusty and the zabzi was a small portion compared to other Persian restaurants. The menu offerings included hummus, kashk badenjoon, chicken and beef kabobs with assorted rices and more. We ordered all of the above to share. The food was not as fragrant as I would have liked. The rice had an oddly watery taste and texture and I don't think it was basmati rice as advertised. The zafron chicken had a nice zesty lime flavor and the beef was average. We finished off the dinner with the pistachio roulade, which was lacking flavor. Overall, give it a chance and see for yourself. I personally didn't see the value in the food or experience for $100.

Worth a try! It's a quiet and low lit environment. The servers were very laid back and friendly.We love a good hummus and they delivered of course. This review is for takeout only. We called in an order at 6:40 on a Sunday night. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes and it was. Here's what we got: - Kashk Bademjoon ($8): this eggplant appetizer was delicious and is the reason I gave them 4 stars and not 3 - Arugula Salad ($8): fresh; large portion; very heavy on the beets - Koobideh Kabob ($19): the ground brisket had a really soft texture that was a little off-putting; I would not get this again - Tandori Chicken ($21): good - Shrimp Kabob ($31, even though on the menu it said $29): we got this because they were unfortunately out of the Fire Roasted Salmon; good, but for $31?! - Vegetarian Kabob ($16): good Overall, the food was decent. The portions were enough to fill us up, but not enough for leftovers, and for the dinner price, I would've expected leftovers. The prices for the lunch menu are much more reasonable. It was also disappointing that they have Falafel on their lunch menu but not on their dinner menu. I would try other (cheaper) Persian restaurants before I come back.

I previously came here on a botched 1st date but needless to say I left before ordering. While recently scrolling down my Instagram timeline one of the foodies I follow was raving about her experience at Zafron so I decided to give it a try. Due to covid I'm not really dining in restaurants these days so I called in to place a curbside pickup order. Located in Sandy Springs off of busy Roswell Rd in a plaza with ample parking. While I ordered to go I did pop in to pickup my food and the decor is gorgeous. The decor is very clean, beautiful, relaxing atmosphere good for a date night. Upon entering I was greeted by a woman who went to get my order. All staff in the restaurant were wearing masks and gloves. Homemade Falafel which is Garbanzo beans, tahini sauce, yogurt cucumber sauce, shirazi salad (Cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, parsley, with EVOO citrus dressing) and naan it was so good Vegetarian Kabob Seasonal mélange of produce, roasted over open fire, lentil and raisin rice so good Food was great will definitely be back hopefully for dine-in.

I am never disappointed. It's one of my favorite places to go for good food and good service.

Cute place, awesome service. I loved the serving dishes. The barg was really good. The koobideh was more like kabob tabeyeeee than koobideh... but still good. The albalooo polo, ghormeh sabzi and white rice were all good.

The lunch is good value considering a lot of persian places seemed to have gotten rid of their lunch menus and it's dinner pricing all the time . The food is tasty (I still think Rumi's is a tad better especially with the bread ). I tried all the kabobs and all of them are good. The eggplant appetizers are good. The only negative is the service at lunch time. There are two waitresses who seem to be there for every lunch session. Not rude, but also not very welcoming. Don't show much enthusiasm. They are not attentive to filling water or the status of your order. Nothing really bad about them. But not good enough service befitting the food and decor of this nice restaurant.

Located in Sandy Springs, Zafron is always bustling and busy. We went for lunch on Friday between Christmas and New Year's. The restaurant was very crowded and we were told that there was a wait. After about 20 minutes, we were seated. Our server took our orders and brought our drinks and appetizers right away. Our entrees arrived shortly afterward. Everything was delivered to our table at the perfect temperature and with great presentation. The portions were generous especially for economical lunch prices. We ended up taking several boxes of leftovers home, and only because we were unable to finish our meals. I will definitely be returning, but I will be making reservations next time.

We were in Atlanta for a couple of days and decided to try this place because in Okc where we live there is only 1 Persian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! The most o musir was so good! Everything we ate was very flavorful! The meat was in the stew was so tender. The service was subpar. There was only one other table in the entire restaurant so they weren't busy at all. It was slow and inattentive. Overall the food was the best Persian food we had ever eaten and loved the variety.

Fabulous meal! The baked goat cheese was delicious! Naseem was our wonderful waiter- good advice on wine selection especially! I'll definitely be back

The food is delicious. The service is great. There is a really nice relaxing vibe throughout and Allie the manager and his team are always at the top of their game making sure their patrons are having an enjoyable experience if you haven't been you're missing out.

Very nice upscale environment features plenty of Persian dishes. Occasional spot for sure. Very convenient by Sandy Springs city center with plenty of parking. Staff was quick and attentive. Will be back.

Stopped in for a bite after visiting the City Springs Theatre. We were greeted by our server Amir and we let him know this was our first visit to Zafron. Amir had a great energy and made some really good recommendation. For starters we had Baked Goat Milk Feta Cheese(a signature appetizer), and I'll tell you what, it was amazing. I've never had anything like it and before we even got to entrees I was already looking forward to coming back just for that alone. We had the Lamb kabobs as well as the Soltan's feast. All of the kabobs were cook perfectly tender and juicy and served off the skewer with roasted tomatoes and Zafron basmati rice. The portions are generous. Some of the best kabobs I've had to date. We finished our meal with the Chocolate Mousse, portion was a bit on the small side but considering the generous entree portions there wasn't much room by the time we got to dessert. Despite the portion size the mousse was very very good. Overall the experience was fantastic, my wife and I are looking forward to the next visit. Authentic Persian food to say the least. Very flavorful! Had the lamb kabob and my friend ordered the tandoori chicken. You receive a lot of food for what you pay for. Also ordered the Jerusalem mule. Would definitely come back here again! I would consider this place as a special occasion restaurant/upscale date night place. There is parking onsite too!

We made a 5pm reservation for Mother's Day. The service was great up until it was time for us to check out. We understood that it was Mother's Day and our waitress was very busy waiting on other tables but it took us 45 minutes to get the check and another 20 minutes to get our card back. I'm sure this wouldn't have been the case if we dined in on a normal evening. The food was very worth it though. We mainly ordered lamb and beef dishes and the flavors were spot on. The green lentil rice was our favorite rice. Overall, we will definitely come back!

We checked out this restaurant for the first time recently and loved it! Food and service were excellent!! We loved the Kabobs!

I've never had Persian food until this experience. I must say I enjoyed every finger licking moment. We started with the hummus which is drizzled with pomegranate sauce. We also dove into this yummy Mediterranean salad which contained grapes . Make sure you give the charbroiled Zafron wings a try. Full of flavor. Lastly, I enjoyed my entree the salmon & it was delectable. Lots of good flavoring at this restaurant.

I was so excited to try this place, but definitely won't be back. Warning: check your bill! We were handed a bill that included a flat $50.00 gratuity which was not mentioned by the server. Also, our check was $231 for a party of 4, so 21.6% was added. Very strange and absolutely not industry standard (18-20% for added gratuity). Quite off putting actually. The food was mediocre at best and definitely not what I expected for the price points. Baked feta was bland, dolmeh appetizer was tasty but very small. I had the beef stew, really struggled with the flavors and at $20 I really wanted to love it. It was a large portion though. Cocktails were the highlight, absolutely delicious. That said, our drinks were repeatedly forgotten and took 20+ minutes to come. The server was clearly over-sat and busy, which I can understand some delays were not his fault. That said when he was with our table we clearly did not have his attention. One person would ask for a drink and he would immediately leave, not ask if anyone else needed anything while we're all sitting with empty glasses. Had to call him as he's walking away to finish ordering. No acknowledgment or apology for the long delays throughout service. We won't be back!

My go-to / to-go place for when I crave for rice items but not Indian style. Like the fact that they use basmati rice. So far I tried all their rice varieties. All of them were great. Kabab dishes were great but I felt like it was not enough. Overall food is great here. They never missed it. Always had a nice experience. Service is great. Friendly folks. We mostly sit outside. It is not a bad place but not wonderful either. Its nice inside though.

The receptionist desk is often unmanned and the waitresses will walk right past you without even making eye contact. So don't come here unless you've got 10 to 15 minutes to stand around waiting to give them your money. On the positive side, the food is really good and affordable

It's a beautiful place, everyone is nice but the service is chaotic. All the staff is pretty rushed and very busy and they are likely understaffed, especially the Friday night we went. We got the sampler appetizers which I loved, the bread and veggies were excellent. The food (chicken tandoori and lamb) was good but not the best I've had. It's fairly average and I had to use the spices and sauce to add flavor. The sauces are good but they do cost extra, just FYI. There is soooo much rice and it's good but the meat needs work. The desserts are good, not amazing, but good. We didn't have any drinks. It's in a great locations. Prices aren't bad but not cheap. Private, free parking as well. Again- Beautiful spot and people are nice but a very average meal.
