Zalat Pizza

Very dense dough, almost reminded me of gluten-free crust. I wish it were more crispy - as it is, it leaves a bit to be desired texture wise. The pizza had a well balanced sauce, good cheese, and tasty toppings. Breadsticks were pretty damn good. * added photo as proof of purchase. In favor of fairness, the pizza *looked* excellent when it was fresh.

Pizza was sooo good!! Had garlic parm breadsticks and they were so good thin crust that was so tasty. The supreme pizza was also just as good so many fresh topping, and like the light sauce and crust. Best part the Ranch is The BEST ranch I have ever had!!! Had some dill flavor that made it over the top. Anytime I’m in Texas I now need to come here! Also got cookies from Tiffs next door! And good tip from another reviewer.

Buffalo chicken pizza 9/10. I do not like blue cheese but their blue cheese ranch is a good balance. The ingredients are fresh and service inside the store is always good. My only critique was the crust felt a bit undercooked, not as crispy as I'd like. Also tried the Pho Shizzle without Hoisin sauce and added beef pepperonis, 7/10. It was a weird undertone flavor but still fresh. Plenty of options we still need to try. I recommend Zalat!

Love this place. So many tasty options and it’s always fresh. I also like how my wife who has celiac can enjoy a really good gluten free pizza! Nice quality of life option on their menu is that they give you the option to change any pizza to a GF one - some places make you order it plain, and then build it from there.

Zalat Pizza is by far the best pizza in the area. It’s always extremely fresh, never greasy, and has an amazing crust. I also really enjoy doing the Carolina reaper challenge slice, it’s super hot but if you like spicy it’s a nice surprise! Definitely our go to and always my first recommendation!

OK while sitting in waiting on my cookies from tiffs I don’t know how I never noticed this pizza place next door!!! so I decided to try it and I’m so happy I did. It did not disappoint. If you have not been to ZALAT you’re missing out I had the basil pepperoni mini 9” and it is amazing. You’ve got to try it and the people are super sweet.!

My husband is a self proclaimed pizza critic and he was very impressed with their pizza. You can tell that it was made from scratch. The crust had a very crisp texture to it, there was a generous amount of cheese and toppings and the sauce had a very good flavor. Altogether, the pie tasted marvelous. I think the restaurant could use more tables and chairs and some decorations on the wall :)

I was in town visiting family and Zalats was recommended for dinner. They said they frequently ordered takeout and especially loved the service from team members Jonah and Nocona. I arrived to pick up our order early and both the team members they mentioned were the crew making the Za’s. Man them two sure hustled and were pretty funny to be honest. Love this place and will frequent when I’m in town. Oh yeah the 🍕 was 💣 10 ⭐️

Let me first start by saying I've been on a hunt for something other than cheese or veggie pizza. On account of switching to a healthier diet, every pizza I've ate had pork on it. When I came across Zalat and to my astonishment learned they have ALL BEEF pepperoni, I got super excited. Since trying Zalat, the amount of times i've eaten here since then is insane lol. No matter what size pizza you get, it's an even 8 slices -- now how big a slice is the kicker lol. Also, the Sirancha sauce is definitely a game changer. I waited until I tried the chicken and waffle mini pizza to right a "diverse" review lol. It too was pretty great for breakfast on the go. Not to mention the handwritten signs on each box. All in all, the pizza makers are all friendly and the establishment gives very homey vibes. I enjoy it every week when I come grab a slice lol

We had this pizza a couple of years ago when it was in Kroger's. So we went there and they moved to Shenandoah! No worries...we found it and got that 18" Supreme!! Parking is plentiful! The pizza only took 20 minutes and it came out piping hot! We strapped it in like it was our child! (It's that good!) lol

Great NY-ish style pie. Reminds me of Pinks in the inner loop. Nice thin crust with good chew. Premium toppings. Great combination. This is our new go to. A little ding. They use DoorDash for delivery. It was slow and the pie didn't arrive as hot as I would wish. DoorDash is also expensive.

Decidedly ordinary and lacking flavor. Advertised as NY pie, a smattering of oregano was added but none of the unctuous grease associated with a good pie. Maybe it lost something via DoorDash but it certainly won't be my go to for pizza.

Very thin, dried out. Had the supreme pizza and the jam bacon thing. Barely ate it. little Caesar's and papa johns is way better IMO.

Service is good and food is good. Despite it being 10pm, the man working the counter was friendly and the pizza was pretty good--although I must say the garlic cheese bread was definitely the star of the show (it is not written on the menu, but is available). My only complaint is the difficulty in reading the menu: it is written on the bottom of a counter so you have to bend down to read it, but nothing too serious. Overall, this location is worth checking out if you seek pizza late at night.

Why 5 stars? Because the quality and unique offerings are a step above here. --- --- --- Once I happened to come across the Yelp page for Zalat, I knew I needed to come here ASAP. 20+ reviews and a 5-star average for any restaurant rushes to the top of the shortlist for me to visit. And it turns out, it's now my turn to add a 5-star rating for Zalat Pizza. While I am not a big fan of spicy food, I couldn't resist trying the Sweet Revenge because it just looked too appealing, despite the spicy ingredients. And just as I expected, it was absolutely awesome with a bit of a kick. That was okay, as I just had an excuse to grab gelato afterward to cool things down. It was totally worth it though - one of the best pizzas I've had in the area! My wife ordered an NYC style cheese. Did it taste like New York Pizza? No. It tasted more like places trying to do "New York Pizza", rather than actual New York Pizza. I guess that NY water really does make all the difference. But it was still enjoyable. Sadly I didn't even know that the all-beef pepperoni is the specialty here until we already had our pizza in-hand (it's advertised on the boxes). I will definitely be back and try something pepperoni-based next time!

For just a 15 minute wait, we got a large "sweet revenge" pizza with their special ranch and devoured it in the next 15. Service was fast, the restaurant was bare bones but clean, and the pizza was delicious and innovative. We'll be back for sure.

Pizza was great! I ordered online to pick up, that was a hassle (I was in a hurry) online ordering took too long and they wouldn't take an order over the phone. Again, the pizza was great!

Got their Zealot (supreme) pizza for take out. It was good but it didn't blow me away. I've had many better pizzas and sad to say this was only a bit better than Dominoes.

Wish they had one in California this pizza is amazing I highly recommend this place it's a great deal

We had ordered Zalat Pizza a couple of times at my office in Downtown Houston. It's been delicious every time! My wife's work has been very busy the last several months so I wanted to do something for her to show appreciation. I jumped online that morning and ordered 4 pizzas to pick up on my drive home. I requested pick up between 3:15-3:30. I pulled up at 3:17 & the lady working the counter had just boxed the last pizza. Timing couldn't have been better. All 4 pizzas were fantastic & I believe my wife's work crew enjoyed. We'll definitely be ordering more in the future. Thanks Zalat

Simple decor, great customer service, and delicious pizza! They have some good app specials. Gladly waited a few minutes today for fresh, hot pizza with good quality ingredients. We will definitely be back! I do like a straw with my canned Coke, but they dont have straws, so will bring one along next time.

Great service! Good pizza. Used the InKind app for free meal. We got the regular pepperoni basil and it was delicious. Not out of this world amazing but better than mod pizza, and the lower chain restaurants.

Great pizza and good service. They have a special dipping sauce that makes your tastebuds explode! I think it's homemade ranch with a touch of siracha and blue cheese. It's nothing I've had anywhere else. The pizza however does NOT need a sauce. It is great on its own as well. They also write funny and thankful messages on your box as a surprise when you open it :)

My son's and I wanted pizza but didn't want the usual franchise locations. I searched online and found Zalat. The reviews were great so we decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did! All three of us ordered there smallest sized pizzas to share among us. We also had the opportunity to try the wings. The pizza was AMAZING!! The wings are baked and they only do dry rubs, so to be honest I was a little hesitant but I thought why not, wow! The wings were DELICIOUS . We were so impressed. I'm happy to say I am glad I tried something new and we will definitely be back. Thanks Zalat for the great food and the service was great too. The gentleman took his time to explain all of the options. Oh and the sriracha and ranch sauce they provided with the pizza, ! There are places to sit in the restaurant but it doesn't seem like that is a main focus that they offer, we ordered when we got there and took it to go.

Wow I'm impressed! Zalat makes really awesome pizza for a great price! I was looking for another great pizza place in the Woodlands but didn't see too many reviews on Yelp for this one. I looked at Google and they have 4.9 out of 5 which made me have to try it. Everything about their pizza is really good! I ordered The Zealot, which is basically a combo and was impressed by the fresh ingredients and especially the crust. The crust is hand tossed and it comes out the same consistency as a wood-fired pizza which I really prefer. It has a really good chew to it. The sauce was not overbearing (or too salty) and there was a generous amount of toppings of meat and vegetables on it. Overall I give Zalat three thumbs up because they make a really great pizza for a really great price and the staff was really awesome too! Only about 20 bucks for an 18" pizza which is a great deal! * They even offer to hide a Reaper pepper in one slice like a Russian roulette game, for additional fee. (Another side note is that they do not offer a white alfredo sauce, but, that's okay because I'm a red sauce fan anyways.) Really impressed!

Tried the Pepperoni Masterpiece with the sirancha sauce. Sooooooo much flavor. I'm not usually a fan of thin crust pizza, but this was absolutely delicious. Would definitely return for more. Hunter took our order and there was only one other person working with him. It was non-stop busy from the moment we got there Sunday at 5pm. Most people seem to order ahead online. They have a screen available to check the status of your order.

Best Margarita pizza in the county! I just dropped in hungry and in a hurry, so I decided to try something that's pretty much a standard in most pizza joints and I was surprised at the result. No nonsense here, just a well constructed pie with the perfect combo of tasty dough and the right amount of fresh toppings. Make sure you have your credit card because they don't accept cash.

I have been looking for a really good thin crust, New York style pizza. We ordered online and picked-up. Their business runs very efficiently. We placed an order for ASAP pick up and the order was ready as soon as we got there. There is so many choices on the menu. We ordered 3 18inch pizzas. A meatza, pho shizzle (me and my daughter's favorite), and the drunken master class (my hubby and son's favorite). The slices on each are huge (8 total per 18in)and can very well be split into 2 slices.They all were full of flavor. My daughter and I agreed a little more sauce and it would have been the best we have had. But I guess that's only for people who like extra sauce. The crust was pretty good and they give customers a choice to purchase many dipping sauces. I want to try the pepperoni pizza that is supposed to be New York style. I will be going back. Overall it's very tasty. My pallet loved the pho shizzle.

Scrumptious pizza. Friendly and quick customer service. Called in my order for pick up, seamless process. Nice vibe inside. All my friends loved what I brought for the pot luck ... they had never tried it before and couldn't believe their taste buds. You have to try the Sweet Revenge, Margherita pizza and pretzel bites! Ordered a pizza with DoorDash delivery through them. Someone picked it up who wasn't DoorDash. Zalat took no responsibility and blew us off. So no control over pickup and just plain rude. Never again for us. Still hungry.

I'm sorry to say that the pizza was just average. Maybe it's just not for us but I found the pizza to be shy on pepperoni and cheese however the crust was flavorful with a nice chew.

Had this pizza with a co worker a few months ago. Need to go back soon They have some great options for sure. Their elote pizza was amazing!

This place must know me because, I absolutely love puns. They left me some pizza puns inside our boxes of pizza. If your pizza place isn't leaving you puns, then it isn't the place to be. This was our first time getting pizza from here and it was amazing. We heard from family in from Dallas that loves them and they told us we had to order their pizzas. 10/10 AMAZING!!!! We aren't ordering from anywhere else. Super fresh and packed full of flavor. If you haven't tried them, you need to ASAP! They now have a Pizza my heart with them. So good

Ordered two large pizzas. Masterclass Pepperoni & Pesto Veggie/Cheese. I would give 4.5 stars to the Pepperoni because it was what I expected. But the Pesto Veggie/Cheese was disappointing so I won't give it a star rating. I was really looking forward to the Tompesto sauce but I could not taste it at all. I really think that I should have had a sense of the sauce at least. Anyway, I was in NYC less than a week ago visiting family, had pizza of course. I wish I could share the pictures... but I think Zalat Carrie's off the NY style pretty well. Perfectly cooked crust. Also, the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and punctual with my in app order. Stull, I really wanted to be blown away because I'm so tired of driving to Houston for exceptional food and the idea of having beef pepperoni after years of suffering through turkey pepperoni added on at home post pickups was too good to be true. And it delivered (although it too could have had just a smidge more sauce). But I was so underwhelmed by the sauce to topping ratio in the second pizza that it made me sad. I'll probably come back for the Pepperoni & add extra sauce... but you shouldn't have to add extra sauce to get that perfect sauce to cheese to crust ratio. But I don't know about the other stuf

I had a pizza the Zalat special couple of weeks back and thought it was great so I decided to order something myself . I had the Nashville hot with pickles and it was superb I also ordered the margarita for my wife who is not a pizza person and she loved it. I have to say If you want to have very good pizza with some mouthwatering options this is the place to go. It's a no cash restaurant just as an fyi.

I already knew how good Zalat was when I lived in DFW and I was missing them a lot. Lo and behold they open a location 5 minutes from my house. I placed my to go order online on day 2 of business and it was ready right when they said it would be. One of the staff went through each box with me to make sure everything was correct, I love their quality control. And when I got home and opened the box, I was greeted with a smile. You cant beat that customer service. I am recently gluten free and was very happy that they have a GF crust. It was probably the best GF crust i've ever had, honestly tasted like the real thing. All the ingredients are super fresh and tasty. Im only giving 4 stars because the srirancha was a bit off, almost too sweet and like they forgot the sriracha. Im sure they will get it right and I cant wait to order my next pizza. This is a must eat for anyone in the area.

I read the reviews and thought I'd take a chance. I drove 20 miles. I ordered two pizzas of pepperoni and vegetable. I thought the prices were a little expensive but I like to try new things. This was one of the worst eating experiences I had in my life, the sauce was bland and had a bad taste to it. The dough and pizza crust have very little taste. The overall product did not meet expectations of a good pizza. I will never go there again big waste of money.

Let me start by saying that the pizza is good, thin crust and definitely NY style. We got the Margherita and another one with different ingredients (supreme-like) can't remember the exact name. Our mistake was that we wanted to eat there. There are only a couple tables, not many drink options or plates or anything else. This is mainly a place to order to go or for delivery. If you want good pizza to eat at home this is a good option, but if you want to eat there you're better off going somewhere else. The service was super friendly by the way, we were very pleased.

Nothing better than paying 1.50 each for multiple toppings just to not get any. Whoever inspected the box obviously didn't :)

Not a dine in restaurant. Pizza was ok and the kids working there were very nice but no fountain, no cups, bottled water and canned sodas only. Seems they're missing out on more business.

I was craving a really good pizza. I like a thin crust with a tasty sauce and fresh toppings. Zalat really is great! I think it will replace my old favorite. I have already ordered more.

Ordered take out. Ready in 20 mins. This is my first time eating here - from out of town. I had a supreme hold the olives. Medium to light crust, chewy, not too dry, great balance of toppings - not too many to make it soggy or greasy. It's in the top 5 New York style pies I've had- not some amazing gourmet pizza, but just solid, tasty and satisfying. The type of pizza I could eat 3-4 times a week. Goto. And it's reasonably priced! Go figure. Please open sone of these in Atlanta. You'll kill it!

Might be the best pizza place I have tried to this day! The thin crust is perfection and everything just tastes like better quality ingredients. BONUS:Their also Halal! Which is perfect for my Jewish family

This was my first time ordering from Zalat. Using their app was easy and the order was ready by the estimated time. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. We tried one of the pizzas with alfredo sauce, it was excellent. Prices were a little higher but you get what you pay for. This place will be our new Friday pizza night location.

This pizza is absolutely delicious. As a fan of mellow mushroom, I came here with high expectations. To my surprise they were completely blown out of the water. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, which was one of the best I've ever had. The lady at the front was extremely kind, friendly, and greets every customer with a big smile and wonderful attitude (unfortunately I forgot her name). On top of that my order was made relatively quick. If you live in the woodlands this spot is a must. I look forward to exploring the rest of the tasty menu.

Glad to have my fav Dallas pizza close by, reminding me of home! Pho Shizzle is my fav, with pepperoni following up as a classic! Definitely tastes just as good as I remembered.

Great NY style pizza crust with Texas twist combinations. Very tasty pizza offerings and friendly staff. We have tried several pizzas so far, Margherita, Pesto, and a custom combination. All were excellent and loved the pizza grams and the srirancha sauce inside the pizza box! The Zalat pizza app makes ordering and customizations easy. It evens let you track the status of your order. We will be back! Sorry no picture, pizza is all gone! It was that good!
