Zamboni’s on 7th Restaurant and Bar

Stopped in before a Wild game. I was excited to try the restaurant after liking it before it had expanded. I liked the drink I had since it strongly tasted of basil. We tried the garlic cheese bread and it was just ok. I was very disappointed by the veggie wild rice burger. It was sooo mushy and the sauce was too spicy for me. The waiter noticed that I didn’t really eat it and I admitted that I didn’t like it so she was super nice and took it off our tab. My husband said his sandwich was ok. I liked the fries and ranch! I’d give it a shot again in the future. There aren’t a ton of veggie options, but their grilled cheese sounds interesting.

It's hard to explain how delicious and fresh the food is. If you look at the menu you see meatballs, salads, burgers and pizza. But everything tastes hand made with fresh ingredients. We came here yesterday before a music festival and I didn't take a picture of the margharita pizza and Mediterranean salad with lamb gyro slices because I didn't realize how special it would be. Perfect crust on the pizza, delicious gyro on the freshest greens. So today, here are pictures of perfectly seasoned meatballs in a delicious red sauce, a juicy burger, and chicken and bacon wrap that is crunchy and fresh. Sorry- my spicy bloody is gone. The service is excellent. My husband will come back to see the Wild, I'll come back for the food and service. Don't miss taking a peek at the downstairs event area. Brick and wood with a cool speakeasy vibe except with TV for sports everywhere. I love it!

Visited first time Friday 10/3/25 What a gem! This is a locally owned, family run establishment We had the Zamboni pizza & fun seasonal drinks & sat in the ‘gamgster booth’ in the bar area All were delicious 💕 Great prices ✅ Professional staff ✅ Plenty of seating ✅ Across the street from the Excel Center ✅ Big menu, lots of choices ✅ We will be back!

Super convenient location the fried raviolis work good The chicken sandwich wasn't my favorite but definitely made it better put in the green Tabasco sauce on it. Great spot for dinner before an event at the Grand casino.

Food was AMAZING!! Service even better!!! My man got the nachos which could have fed 4 people easily and I got the chicken strips which were VERY good!!!! Great spot for food and drink before an event at the X!!!!!

Such a nice downtown restaurant. We had a retirement party for my MIL. Great staff. Be sure to support our local restaurants who are affected by the construction, please!

Rang in the new years at zambonis and was pleasantly surprised by the AMAZING service I received from John. He was so attentive and had so many good recommendations for shots and drinks for me and my friends to try! The bar was lively and fun and clean, and he made a good experience great! I will definitely be back and I hope he is working.

We were hungry one night and this was close to our hotel. The pizza was great and my son at almost a half of it himself showing how good it was even to a fussy eater. It is thin crust which is my preference anyways. Overall this was great and I would get pizza here again. I am sure the other stuff is good as well but I can tell you for sure the pizza is great.

St. Paul, wild games, grape apes and right next to everything ! Zamboni is a classic spot , usually the last stop for a shot or a quick drink right before you enter the game or a concert or anything at the X!!!! Their food is good. Their apps come out fast. I tried the wings and enjoyed them with a lonely blonde !! They have a great selection of beers on tap and all of your classics! This please had fast service! If you see an open table with drinks, take it they'll clean it up quickly and I'll get you some drinks! It's a quick in and quick out kind of place!

My friend and I were trying to find a bar to stop in and watch the Vikings game and stumbled upon Zamboni's because the other places around it were full. At first, it looked like small from the entrance but it expands all the way to the right and even have more space going down another floor. The food was delicious and we got a great spot to watch the game. Food came out fast and the waiters were pretty attentive as we were in the middle of the room we were in. I would definitely go again to watch a sports game here because everyone there is friendly and welcoming!

Very cool place! I came here after a show at Xcel, so it was very very busy, but the staff handled it perfectly. They have some good beer on tap. Not sure about their other drinks, I'm strictly beer these days. I had the hot spinach dip, and it seemed a little pricey to me for an appetizer, but it was delicious. The person next to me got the nachos. I will definitely try them next time I'm at a show. Not sure how they tasted, but they LOOKED good, and that was the biggest nacho spread I've ever seen. I have honestly had so many negative experiences in this area of St Paul with things being overpriced and bland, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Delicious and great service even when they were very busy. We had the Zamboni and rosemary blonde pizzas as well as the fried fish and fries appetizers. All was excellent! We visited after a large convention ended so there was a very big influx of diners right when we came. The service was slower, as one would expect but they told us upfront that we would need to be patient, that being said, we didn't wait long to order or get our check. Our server was so very friendly and when she realized that she forgot to bring us refills on drinks she kindly gifted us a cookie. Because she did a great job communicating, was obviously running her tail off, and was kind, I didn't mind waiting a bit to get drink refills. The ambience is laid back and fun. Everything was good but the fish and blonde pizza were our favorites. I would definitely come back it if I visit St Paul again.
