Stay in Style: Discover Poland’s Best Hotels Where Design Meets History

"Set on the white sandy dunes of Słowiński National Park, I found a rebuilt early‑20th‑century spa house—opened in 1907 to capitalize on the Baltic microclimate—whose recent restoration preserved signature elements such as the wide entrance staircase, the sea‑facing terrace linked to the restaurant and the round flanking towers; guest rooms are individually decorated with historical respect yet contemporary touches—pastel palettes, geometric furniture and statement headboards that give a Wes Anderson vibe—some with private beach‑facing balconies, and an outdoor pool tucked among pine trees." - Le Guide MICHELIN

Zamek Łeba (Łeba, Poland) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"A seaside town in northern Poland might not be the first place you’d look for a storybook castle. But Zamek Łeba’s off-the-beaten-path location, tucked between the shoreline of the blue Baltic Sea and the shifting dunes of Słowiński National Park, is part of what makes it magical. The castle dates back to the 1900s, and functioned as a wellness retreat for decades before it became a luxury hotel. There’s still an unmistakably old-world air to the place, and many details feel charmingly redolent of the past: an elevator was never installed, bathrooms have vintage-looking tubs instead of modern walk-in showers, and Polish classics like smoked sturgeon and red borscht are served in the restaurant." - Tablet Hotels

Our stay at Łeba Castle was very nice. The location of the hotel is ideal one and the restoration of the hotel is great, may be only with one negative defect - external windows in such historical building never should be plastic ones.

I’m Polish-American, and let’s be real—Poland (like France) just doesn’t get customer service. It’s not in the mindset or culture here. If you’ve lived most of your life in the U.S. or the UK, you can spot it instantly—just reading a hotel’s replies or comments makes it obvious they have no clue what customer service even means. And charging 300 a night for a bird? That’s not “service,” that’s either a scam or just plain ridiculous… only in Poland. I honestly can’t wait to open my own place and put spots like this to shame. The only thing they’ve got going for them is location—but the Baltic isn’t even that great. The weather’s mostly cold. No competition when hotels keep pretending to be “classy” but come off pretentious and clueless.

The grounds and scenery are beautiful and the spa fantastic. However, don’t expect service levels to meet expected standards. |The best part of the restaurant looking out onto the beach was closed for an evening and morning without any prior warning and our pre-agreed late check out vanished mysteriously from our booking. |We were 30 minutes late for our first dinner so our table was given away when a call to the room could have sorted it. |If it wasn’t part of our honeymoon it could be amusing, unfortunately it was just upsetting given the circumstances.

Amazing place 🤍 Right on the beach. We have beautiful balcony view on Baltic Sea 😍 Perfect place if you have a dog. Dogs are welcomed, not just allowed. ☺️

Absolutely stunning, high class, with gorgeous views of the Baltic sea. I want to really highlight the excellence of Dawid and Ernest in particular whose service I've found especially wonderful. Two very personable, knowledgeable and hardworking gents - surrounded by other staff who, from observation, also worked very hard. Dawid in particular helped guide me through cocktails and vodkas available, and without him I can't imagine I'd enjoy my time here nearly as much. Ernest's work ethic and helpfulness also really struck me.

Awesome view of beach and baltic sea; delicious food, friendly staff, well selected music and very well adjusted loudness (not too loud, not annoying, no bass boom blasting); we had chicken with spatzle and paprika sauce, the bread was tasty; there is a parking lot for guests outside the gate under trees; on one side of the hotel there is the beach, and on the other side there is the forest; there are hiking trails in the forest and cross walks to the beach.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Having visited twice, I am already planning a third trip, amazed and entranced by the ambience and charm this hotel holds. My room on the top floor was spacious and clean, and when cracking the windows, I was able to relax to the lulling sounds of crashing waves. After taking walks in the crisp autumn weather along the nearly empty beach, I took a delicious drink in the beautiful interior of the restaurant, which is worked by helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend a stay to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in an unusual location.

Wow, where do I even begin? Staying at Zamek Łeba felt like stepping into a real-life fairytale. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by the castle’s beauty and the peaceful vibe of its surroundings. It’s tucked away in this gorgeous, green area, and yet it’s just a short drive to the beach. Perfect location!||Our room was absolutely lovely—spacious, super clean, and had this elegant, vintage feel that matched the castle perfectly. The view from our window was stunninh. And the bed? So comfortable, I could have stayed in it all day!||The restaurant is a whole experience on its own. We tried their traditional Polish dishes, and oh my, the pierogi and fresh fish were out of this world. My partner and I still talk about the meal we had there—it was THAT good.||We spent our days exploring the area (don’t miss Słowiński National Park—it’s a must-see!) and enjoying walks around the castle grounds. They even have bikes you can rent, which was a fun way to get around. And when we needed to relax, the spa was a godsend.||But honestly, what made the stay truly special were the people. The staff were so warm and friendly—they made us feel like family. From their recommendations on places to visit to making sure we had everything we needed, they really went above and beyond.||Leaving Zamek Łeba was tough. It’s one of those places you don’t just visit—you experience it. I’m already planning my next trip back because one stay isn’t enough to soak up all the magic this place has to offer.||If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful, and memorable getaway, this is it.||⭐ 5/5 – Highly recommend!
