Very cost store. It's been here for 30 years and has a lovely owner. I had Turkish coffee and a falafel platter. My favorite falafel so far.

Love Ms. Zand and all her amazing food!! The falafel plate is to die for, tons of vegan options, and fantastic service. Will come back and recommend forever.

I love this place. I lived in Albany for 14 years and this was one of my regular carryout spots. I'm visiting the north Berkeley area and looking forward to the delicious tabouli and their eggplant dip to go along with my falafel and baklava.

Gramma would definitely have approved. She made all the dishes available here. If you want spicy food, you will be disappointed because Persian food is herby, not spicy, but Zand's food is authentic & delicious.

I've enjoyed eating at this place! The food is solid. But, darn it! I am sick at home and tried to place an order through Caviar this afternoon. An hour after the order is placed, we get a call saying that the delivery person arrived for pick up - but Zand's is closed! They are listed as being open right now over here. I am so hungry and so disappointed.
