Went to Zanzi Bar on recommendation of a friend as I'm visiting the area from NYC. My husband called earlier ahead of us arriving. Very inviting, professional welcome with them saying come on in. No reservation required.
Upon arriving, we entered the side (main), door was greeted immediately & seated. Princess came over within a minute and took our drink order, answered our questions and returned with warm chips.
She then brought over our drinks, explained the entrees we ordered and we settled into the comfy atmosphere, live Afrobeats music and chill vibes
When our dinner arrived, i devoured my plate. I had the vegan platter & my husband enjoyed the oxtail. Everything was well seasoned, fresh, flavorful and were portioned appropriately. The sorrel (zobo) was delicious, the right concentration and chilled just right. We were in aww of our neighbors seafood tower. We enjoyed the bread pudding desert.
I would return to this chill, welcoming warm and professional spot. Princess made us feel at home & we'll likely return later in the week with our other visitors. Good concept, Delicious options, warm, engaged wait staff, clean Resturant and wonderful spot. A++++
