Highly recommend Zanzi Bar. Complimentary valet parking, great afrobeats, decor, and ambiance. The food was delicious. From the hot, well seasoned crab fingers, cajun pasta, and lamb chops, to the old fashions and hookah. Definitely a nice, chill vibe. And if you get Princess as your server, you're in for A1 stellar service!!

Every thing we had here was delicious. Lively environment. Service was good and on time. They were fully prepared for us. Servers were polite and active too. Space is a little small but who cares ..😆they have good service and the food is good….attached are some of the variety of foods we had 😆😆😆was a large gathering

I enjoyed Zanzi Bar for the most part. The DJ might’ve been the best part. The food was pretty good, some things left me unimpressed. Service was slow. Hidden charges (they didn’t tell us gratuity was included, didn’t tell us there was an extra charge on a credit card) It was a cute environment. However, a lot of faux plants ; to each their own. Had to deal with some very rude fellow patrons but that’s not Zanzi’s fault. The drinks were great. I had the Snapper with Brussels sprouts and coconut rice. The Snapper was amazing, the Brussels were really good, the rice was disappointing. My partner had the Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas and Yams. He was disappointed with his sides and the Jerk Chicken was Decent. We spent $175 for one app, two entrees, two drinks.

Super clean restaurant. The food was amazing. Our server Kiki took great care of us and introduced us to the owner. I’d definitely come back to try a few other dishes from there menu.

I wanted to like this place because I love a lot of the restaurants in the Sandy springs area but this one is just not it. I’ve been here maybe a year and a half ago and the food and service were lackluster. Then recently on Sunday 7/5 my friend and I decided to give this place a try for dinner. We both ordered the jerk chicken with sides. The food was fine BUT here’s where the issue arose: When the bill came, my friend pulled out his card and asked our server- Naomi/Nay (a slender woman with a short cut and glasses) if they charged a gratuity fee - as many Black owned places in metro Atlanta do. She told him flat out, no so he proceeded to add a 22% tip. She brings back his receipt and you can clearly see an extra 18% charge added, and at the bottom of the receipt it says “ For parties of 0 or larger, a 18.00% gratuity is applied automatically.” So basically he tipped TWICE giving her a 40% tip which is ridiculous. He went up to the bar to ask her about it and she flat out lied to him and said it was a service upkeep charge for the restaurant, not a tip for her. That was so lame because he would’ve still gave her an extra tip on top of the 18% but just something more reasonable like 5-10%. But a $50 tip on a $100 meal?? Be fr! He didn’t even want to leave a review because he’s such a kind person, which irked me even more and why I’m leaving one. I thought that was so foul of her and I’ve been telling everyone I know to never go there. Crap like this is exactly why people are starting to shy away from Black owned restaurants in Atlanta. There’s plenty of better lounge like places in the area with better food, drinks and service that don’t do scammy thievery like this!

I've taken my wife to this location twice ... and both times: the vibe and food was AMAZING! The Service was FANTASTIC! the only reason I didn't give a 5 STAR rating is because: i was NOT informed that an 18% gratuity was automatically added to my bill... and added an additional 20% because the overall experience was great... only to realize I paid a total of 38% Gratuity. 😮‍💨 So I wasn't happy about. I later referred a friend to attend a few weeks later and the exact same thing happened to her. Conclusion make it a standard practice to inform the guest that gratuity is automatically included.

We loved the food, our waitress Janae was very kind and helpful. We had the oxtails with plantain and Mac and cheese (flavor was so good and oxtails were meaty.) We also had red snapper (whole fish, super meaty) with salad and Jollof rice. Appetizer was beef Suya, hubby did not like (in comparison to Ike’s) but I thought it was tasty, just a different cut of beef and not as charred as we like. The bar tender that night did awesome on the drinks, I had Long Island ($9, happy hour) this was nicely balanced and strong; hubby got the Ganga Green he didn’t feel like it was as full bodied (but it depends on your tolerance). They also provide complimentary chips which had a good balance of sweet and salty. Overall, portions are good size. I’d recommend and will come back. Next time I’ll try the okra soup with fufu. Disclaimer: We went on a Thursday night during their happy hour; it was quiet this night but that is what we prefer. But the waitress did say it’s more lively on Friday and weekends, it depends what vibe you like.

**5 stars** I celebrated my 32nd birthday last night at Zanzi Bar and the food was amazing, the atmosphere was on point, and the music was lit! Great vibes all around! Huge shoutout to **Princess and Prisca** for their excellent service, they were super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back soon!

The Food was great! The ambiance was nice! I will definitely be back! My cocktail was tasty! It was called a Goblet of Shetani. It was a Don Julio margarita top with Cabernet Sauvignon. For my meal I had the salmon which came with 2 sides which I chose salad and jollof rice. I had originally ordered the oxtail which was recommended by our waitress, however, she returned to tell me they were out of it. My meal was great! However the wait to get food is long. My food came out first, and my friend who ordered the whole snapper entree came out at least 20 minutes later. They did serve tortilla chips with guacamole which was tasty and they brought out pita chips for my friend who was waiting on her food. Overall I will come back, but there needs to be more consistency with the timing of how the food comes out. It wasn't busy at all when we went. There there 2 other parties there when we arrived. I noticed it took awhile for all the parties to get their food. 2 additional parties came after us and they waited awhile as well. Like I said before I will be back but some improvements should be made.

I went on a Saturday night with two other couples. The ambiance is nice and the music was cool. We waited an extremely long time for our drinks... like 20 mins just for a margarita and a bottle of water. The shrimp and chicken appetizers were good. Two people at our table got the chicken and seafood pasta and said it wasn't that good and barely touched it. The snapper was really good but again the wait for the food killed the experience. Another person at our table ordered the salmon and they didn't get their food until we were all done eating and putting leftovers in boxes and they said it wasn't even worth the wait. The salmon was super small. The waitress tried to make up for it with free cheesecake which was cool but i do feel like she could've done a better job at keeping us updated with everything. We will not be returning.

I had high hopes for this place after seeing it on IG but it did not live up to expectations. When first arriving immediately in front of the restaurant, they had cones blocking the restaurant front parking. It seemed like that parking was paid parking and not sure why I would be paying for parking 6 o'clock on a Thursday, but I parked in one of the open spots. Upon entering they asked if there was had a reservation or just walk in. I didn't know they took reservations because on their Instagram page they have no website or hours of operation so I knew going up here was a roll of the dice if they were open. Quickly seated in the mostly empty space at the time. Presented with a menu and I'd really come up for the oxtail empanadas but apparently that was only on Sunday for brunch. This would've been nice to know on any website or on your page and if it's there, please forgive, but I was disappointed. I ordered a margarita, beef suya and for my main course lamb chops with a side of Mac and jollof. The suya was ok, they did have the pepper sauce to go with the onions so I can respect that. The lamb chops were decently cooked and decently flavored the pepper sauce definitely helped. The jollof good & for my jollof lovers it was highly likely Nigerian. The mac & cheese was good until I tried to put it in a to go box and a bunch of grease poured out. The margarita had so much ice in that I finished it in like three sips. The waitress asked me if I wanted to which I said no. The waitresses that were staffed this evening were not attentive to our table or the table closer to the window. I saw them having to waive her over a couple of times to get additional food or to get their check. Our waitress was no better I put my napkin on the table as an indicator and we sat there for about another 15 to 20 minutes before she came over. Upon receiving the check they do have a service charge, the waitress mentioned the tip if you wanna leave one to which I asked, what is the service charge and she said oh that's 12% that we get. If I didn't see that she would've easily said, this is the tip. I am not against tipping, but I appreciate the honesty which wasn't given here. Additionally, the tip amount was over the whole bill and not the additional tip amount. Would I come back here yes but only for the oxtail empanadas, which I will take to go I really hope that they read these reviews even though this is the second one and take notice. Lastly, it is advertised to have Shisha, and that was never offered. Music was for sure good though!

I saw this place on Instagram so me and my homegirl decided to come. They reopened on 7/5, we made a reservation for 7/6. When we arrived valet was extremely nice and helpful. We were seated upon entry. The girl brought us menus, I asked about the smoky drinks she said oh we don't have dry ice. We ordered oxtails empanadas which were ok, we are still waiting on drinks which took too long. After a while they come out, I tell her I want lamb chops, she says oh we don't have that nor salmon. Y'all it's opening day two... How do you not already have the stuff your promote on your page. Moving on I get the red snapper, mac and brussels' sprouts, the best thing was the brussels'. The mac has an herb taste so you have to like that snapper was ok. My home girl got oxtails she said was edible but nothing crazy good. The food took over 40 mins to come out. This is basically another hyped up place with no strategy. I don't have to drive to sandy springs to get mediocre food. This review was light, as I could have went in because they have work to do. Last things drinks were overpriced to not be good. I consult businesses daily working in customer service industry. Just want them to get help and get it right. Most people don't mind spending money if the service and food is on point.

Not only is the ambiance is amazing , the service was prompt & the food was stellar ! A great place to dine in within Sandy Springs... definitely will be back !

We stopped in for Mother's Day. What a great choice. Our server Henry was the star of the show. Professional with a light touch. His suggestions was spot on. Our food was timely, fresh, delicious & hot. The place was clean and the music vibing. We can't wait to return.

First let's start with it was my birthday and I was really disappointed after driving over an hour for such dreadful service. It took forever to get drinks which was simple and watered down. The service sucked, our waiter lies boldly about something so simple as a taste test!!! Half of what's on the menu was unavailable , not to mention they had construction going on in front which could cause unwanted accidents. Over all the only thing I can say nice about the place is it was very clean. But the bartender and the guy that came in with the black bags like he just went grocery shopping was a turn off for me!!

Zanzi Bar is simply exceptional! Fantastic drinks, great atmosphere, and superb service. Definitely a must-visit!

Great food me and my family love going to eat here. The service is great and the food is even better. The manager came out to ask us about the food. The environment is amazing with great scenery and the bathroom is CLEAN. All in all this has to be a 5/5

Cutting straight to the point! Wait time for food is horrible ! Not everyone will get their food at the same time, we got told no many times you can't replace this or that , never saw the manager when we had an issue. Food was horrible that the only guest got she sent it back we just paid for the over priced drinks and water and left . It's great to say I won't be back.

Arrived at 11pm on a Saturday to eat. Never got seated even after an hour of waiting. There is no hostess podium. The waitresses are all confused. Everyone is like "wait a min" when you ask to be seated. The kitchen was said to be a hour behind. This is more of a club/lounge ...not a restaurant. I'm never going back. I can't even say I recieved horrible service, since I received no service at all. Music was nice tho.

Okay so me and my fiancé came at 3:30pm, empty but that's okay. First, I came in and house music was playing. Definitely a plus for a house head like myself. The waitress greeted us, very pretty ambiance. We got waters, and order our drinks. Drink were A1! Got the shrimp as an appetizer and it was so good. It has heat but not spicy so it was soo good. I order the lamp chop, and my fiancé got the seafood pasta. Listen, whatever sauce they put on the lamb chops they need to bottle up and sell. The seafood pasta was soo good! Okay so 5 stars for sure. The hookah wasn't faint like most places. I definitely enjoy EVERYTHING!

Awesome ambiance and setting, I will start there. Now the service was super lacking. Only 2 tables (us being the 2nd) and we waiting over 30 minutes for our drink orders to be taken and another 30 minutes before everyone received their drinks. Only 1 server was waiting on all tables while at least 4 others congregated at the bar. The manager arrived and did not check in on any of the guests until after it was mentioned to him that service was lacking and why only 1 server was actually working while he congregated with the others around the bar. Food presentation was good, but the wait was again crazy. We considered just leaving and dining else where several times but we were celebrating a friend.

I gave them 2 stars because they are new and just opened. But this place was an extreme disappointment and false advertisement at its finest. I'm sure most people that found this place saw the advertisement going on with social media influencers on ig. I specifically came for the oxtail empanadas and that's only served on Sundays. When I say I was pissed that's not advertised ANYWHERE on there instagram is even more annoying. They had NO SIDES AND NO LAMB CHOPS tried ordering snapper but I couldn't get rice or mashed potatoes to go with it. I decided to settle with Mac and cheese but was then told they are out of that as well. We decided to leave and go to cirque. I have no idea how a restaurant right next to Kroger would tell us it's no mashed potatoes or rice is beyond me. I hope they read these reviews and step it up a notch. And oh yeah when we first arrived they said you need a reservation on yelp when there were countless open seats literally went on yelp in his face and reserved the table in his face for 15min wait when they told me it was a hour wait. Overall disappointed
