We had the 10 course tasting menu with matching wines. Highlights were the anchovies, the octopus dish that captured the essence of octopus in a soup/gravy, the Sushi grade tuna. Biggest surprise and delightful was the fish French toast. Words cannot describe it - you've got to experience. Service was excellent. Christina from Ecuador and Antonio from Peru took very good care of us, and explained very well each plate and the wine pairings. Wonderful experience.

Very good and worth trying for a special night out. The server was a little awkward, though, about accommodating my partner’s request for a fully pescatarian meal. Only strange because this place advertises itself as a seafood restaurant.

Sadly, I had a really poor experience. I visited on a Saturday evening and had the 15 course tasting menu. I left unsure how the restaurant had earned a Michelin star. Some dishes were completely flavourless, I found myself re-tasting and re-testing the dishes to check I hadn’t missed a component on the plate, I never had. On other dishes, beautiful ingredients were completely overpowered by sauces or accompaniments that were too salty or just confused the dish. Whilst the waiters were friendly and pleasant, the service was incredibly rushed. I had barely swallowed the final savoury dish before my plate was removed and replaced by the first of the sweet dishes. Plates were delivered and removed in a haphazard fashion throughout the meal. Twice they were removed before I had finished eating one of the plates (as the courses were delivered in pairs) and one was delivered when my partner was in the bathroom (not the level of service I would expect in a Michelin starred restaurant at all). Despite the speed, a number of the dishes also arrived luke warm, including the main meat dish which was a shame as this was the only dish I left thinking was well-balanced and tasty. On a short trip and when surrounded by some of the best food and best restaurants in the world, I left feeling upset to have wasted an evening (and money) on this meal and experience.

My favourite gourmet restaurant in Bilbao, which I try to visit once a year. Very fresh produce, allowed to take the center stage, with gentle cooking styles, sauces and condiments. This is true basque cuisine with a very slight innovative touch (helps maintain the Michelin star 😉). When in season try the large quisquillas and the angulas. The service is very genuine, professional and attentive.

We came to the restaurant with my husband on his birthday. I have never seen such a terrible discussion anywhere. The expectations of a Michelin-starred restaurant were much higher. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty. We waited for the menu for 15 minutes, they didn't tell us anything about the cuisine, dishes. The staff did not smile once. The food was interesting and delicious.

Huge disappointment. The dishes were robust and not to our taste at all. 5 of us had the 15 course tasting menu. Out of 75 dishes between us, maybe around 15 dishes were enjoyed and 60 were not liked. The service was below average with a lack of knowledge about the dishes. Not one server asked if we were enjoying the meal or poured wine. They seem to be disinterested in us. Very confused about how this is a Michelin one star restaurant.
