The museum is truly outstanding. I visited with my two kids, and it’s completely different from a traditional museum. There are plenty of interactive screens and glass installations, which made the experience engaging and immersive for children. My kids learned about shipbuilding, UAE culture, history, and—most importantly—the life and vision of Sheikh Zayed. Entry tickets are AED 70 for adults, and children under 18 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. It’s a must-visit place—not just for the knowledge it offers, but also for its stunning architecture.

An absolutely incredible and must-see destination in Abu Dhabi. Its not just a museum – it’s a powerful experience. The amount of work, vision, and detail that went into bringing this place to life is remarkable. It’s interactive, beautifully curated, and takes you on a journey through humanity itself – history, art, belief systems, science, and culture, all connected in a way that really makes you think. I personally spent more than three hours there and still felt I could have stayed longer. That said, if you prefer a shorter walk-through or aren’t deeply into history, you can move through it much quicker. What truly stands out is the deeper message behind it all: the vision of the Sheikh, already calling for peace and coexistence, and allowing all religions and cultures to stand side by side in mutual respect. That message feels as relevant today as ever. A place that inspires, educates, and leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended.

Zayed National Museum is an exceptional experience and one of the most impressive cultural landmarks in the UAE. The architecture is absolutely stunning, bold, thoughtful, and deeply symbolic, perfectly reflecting the vision and legacy of Sheikh Zayed. Inside, the exhibitions are beautifully curated, informative, and engaging without feeling overwhelming. The storytelling is immersive and well paced, offering real insight into the history, values, and identity of the UAE. Every space feels modern, intentional, and respectful. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, the facilities are immaculate, and the overall atmosphere is calm and inspiring. It’s also worth noting that Fazaa members can get a discount, but only if tickets are purchased at the venue rather than online. Located on Saadiyat Island, it’s easy to turn this into a full day out by visiting multiple museums nearby. A must-visit for both residents and visitors, and a place well worth returning to.

Visiting the Zayed National Museum was an incredibly special experience for me. Watching this remarkable building take shape over time, and then finally visiting it on my birthday, made the moment even more meaningful. The architecture is phenomenal — every element feels intentional, like a beautiful expression of gratitude carved into stone, honoring the legacy of the late and honorable Sheikh Zayed. His vision, values, and spirit are deeply embedded in the heart of the museum, and I felt truly honored to set foot inside. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm, friendly, and hospitable. The layout of the museum is thoughtfully designed and flows beautifully, making the experience both inspiring and easy to navigate. The water fountain at the entrance sets a serene tone, and as we left, walking along the Waterfront that connects the monumental buildings — including the Louvre — elevated the experience even further. The breathtaking city views, especially while watching the sunset, were unforgettable. The water fountain at the entrance sets a serene tone, and as we left, walking along the Waterfront that connects the monumental buildings — including the Louvre — elevated the experience even further. A truly beautiful, moving, and well-curated experience — one that left me feeling grateful, inspired, and deeply connected to the vision behind this incredible place.

A Fantastic place to visit. The new Gold Standard for Museums. I have been to beautiful museums in New York city and London but this one is on another level. Adding to that the marvelous legacy of the Late Sheikh Zayed God bless his soul and the Leaders before him; which makes it more interesting to visit and explore his and UAE’s history, that is conveniently divided over various halls in the Museum. After enjoying the beautiful building from the outside and the lovely garden beside it, you go for an easy check in, very warm welcoming, very nice gift store at the main hall and very high tech interactive monitors and large sized display screens all over the place. There are white statues for locals that start talking when walking closer to them, showing how life was back then in those old days. There are beautiful full scale boats and two full scale horse statues that are all really well built. Also visited the coffee house, enjoyed a delicious croissant with an iced coffee to discover that there is a beautiful water canal to the back side. Then went outside and walked up the ramp to the roof top to enjoy the scenery of the surrounding buildings and realize that the Abrahamic religions Worship houses are so close and so is the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Dedicate at least three to four hours for this place and enjoy a very beautiful and informative time travel journey.

I visited with my familyto the Zayed National Museum, located in the heart of the Saadiyat Cultural District in Abu Dhabi, was truly inspiring. Kids loved being here too. The museum beautifully celebrates the rich history, culture, and stories of the UAE, highlighting the nation’s journey from ancient times to the modern day. Walking through the galleries, I gained a deeper appreciation for the legacy of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. His vision, wisdom, and values are reflected in every part of the museum. Through engaging exhibitions, insightful research, and thoughtful public programmes, the museum shows how Sheikh Zayed’s principles continue to shape the UAE’s identity and guide its people. It was an unforgettable and meaningful experience.

Beautiful museum design. Online booking is required in advance. Wheelchairs are available at the entrance. Staff are extremely kind and welcoming. Security team is always ready to assist visitors. My mother uses a wheelchair, and they treated her with exceptional care. They explained the artifacts to her with patience and respect. The exhibition pieces are stunning and rich in detail. They beautifully reflect the history of the UAE. Clean restrooms and prayer rooms are also provided. A memorable and highly recommended visit.

Zayed National Museum is a world class cultural icon in Abu Dhabi. It beautifully presents the inspiring legacy of Sheikh Zayed and the story of the UAE in a meaningful and memorable way. The architecture is stunning, combining modern design with Emirati identity in a way that impresses you from the moment you arrive. Inside, every gallery is carefully arranged. You learn about heritage, nature, archaeology, national achievements, and most importantly the life and values of Sheikh Zayed. The storytelling is emotional and powerful and you walk away with a deeper appreciation of how far this country has come. The exhibits are interactive, family friendly, and very educational. You do not just see history, you feel it. The staff were professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable which added to the overall experience.
