Best Lebanese food. They make the kafta the right way!!! It's like eating at home but without spending half the day slaving in the kitchen. No matter where you live it is worth the drive.

Our first time here. It’s a small family owned Mediterranean restaurant located on Valleyview Blvd and Chapman Ave close to Von’s supermarket. My wife was a little hungry and wanted to have some Mediterranean kebab. She ordered the beef kebab plate. The plate came in that came with hummus, salad and flat bread in a to go box. The daughter even swung by our table to check on how the food was. The beef kebabs were soft and melts in your mouth. If we are in the area next time, we would definitely come back here again.

This place is really good and I usually have a great experience but today the usual woman (who is very sweet) went to take my order kindly and a young man intruded and told her no they couldn’t help me because they close in ten minutes. I think that’s ridiculous if you’re still open with the door open you should be able to take my order until the actual closing time. I had to eat Taco Bell instead I’m so upset

8.3.19 My first visit to this place. I'm so surprised that I haven't since they have been here a while. I ordered the Chicken Swarma plate. The counter gal was really nice and helpful. The food came out timely. Piping hot and so flavorful. I love the spices in the chicken. And I love the rice with it. The hummus and cucumber relish was good. I guess it's just the standard types but delicious with everything else on the plate. The place is decent. Was not too crowded for a Saturday lunch. Not bad. I ordered a Family Meal. The salad that came with it was great. I also enjoyed their falafel.

For the price and taste, you can't find any better. The quality of seasoning and the tenderness of their meat is excellent. Be sure to try the baklava for a delicious dessert. Family meals are also an option for large parties. Love this family owned business.

Legit this place is good. I got the chicken shawarma and a desert. Big healthy portion and it tasted great. I’ve been to Saudi and this matches that energy.

The food was good. The chicken Shawarma wrap felt fresh and the sauces blended well with the chicken. Note that the place is small and has limited dine-in space, so it it is better to takeout from here.

Can't believe I only recently found this spot! Located in the Vons plaza, there's plenty of parking. Theres only has a few tables to sit at and they have plastic cups and water you can refill. The staff is very friendly! I'm so surprised at how great the prices are. I got the beef shrawma plate which comes with salad, hummus, rice, meat, and pita and it was $13.99! Wow you can't find those prices these days. The rice was so flavorful. The beef was not my favorite, but it had good flavor. I liked the salad which was cucumber and tomato. The hummus was delicious and i liked the garlic sauce that you can ask for in the side. They have a lot other items on the menu. I can't wait to come back to try their wraps!

A fam favorite! I love the lamb when I come in for lunch, and the fam loves the chicken kabob family platter (rice, kabob, salad, pitas, and hummus with garlic and spicy sauces). The service is always friendly and fast, we usually order, head by the Vons next door to shop real quick, then grab the food on our way back (~10 mins). There's plenty of seating as well if you plan to eat in, and the place is always a welcoming family atmosphere. 10/10 - You know you want to. :)

OMGEEEEEE I'm in HEAVEN!!!!!! Picked up 2 large Lentil soups and 2 rice and couldn't be happier!!! We LOVE their rice, seasoned and cooked to perfection!!! Lentil soup is like a puree- smooth & so flavorful!!!!!!! Customer service is Friendly & Personable!!!! Wish they sold Tabouleh in smaller size, too much for one person:-(

One of my all-time favorite spots for mediterranean food. I have been coming here for so long that at one point they recognized me! The service is always so friendly and generous. One time, they gave me complimentary soup while I waited for my order. My favorites are the chicken and beef shawarma plates or cheese fries. Lots of indoor seating. Everything is delicious, authentic, and everyone should support this business!

I couldn't be more thrilled that I now have this place in my gourmet take-out rotation. I was craving Mediterranean food badly and was looking for some place new to me. WOW, the food is phenomenal. Everything was fresh and made to order. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, and the rice and humus are fantastic. You can tell the chef has pride. So there's my review.

Their food is amazing... some might say "finger licking good!" The person that took my order was incredibly nice and the restaurant, in total, looked beautiful. 10/10 would recommend!

I was specifically craving a Mediterranean chicken plate so I decided to stop by here for the first time. There was plenty of parking since it was located in a big plaza, and the staff were super friendly when I arrived to order. I got the half rotisserie chicken plate, but since they didn't have a half chicken available at that time they offered two white meat quarters instead; which worked out great for me because that's my favorite part! The chicken was delicious and flavorful. It paired super well with the garlic and green chili sauce it came with. The rice was my favorite part! I love when Mediterranean restaurants serve the rice with vermicelli in it. This is definitely my new go-to spot, I'm already thinking of going back to try their chicken shawarma as I'm writing this review haha! I definitely recommend Zaytoon's!

The meat kabob and chicken was very dry and no flavor!!!....so sad i used to love this place!!

I got the beef plate, it was so delicious and so tender melted in my mouth! Rice was delicious hummus was amazing!!!!! Cucumber salad was so so good. It was very good deal

I recently had Zaytoons cater a party and it was amazing. I got rave reviews from all the guests about the food. Orer through them was so easy and i felt very taken care of. I will continue to use them from here on out. I was gueinly so impressed and happy with everything about this place!

Buddy picked this spot after the gym and it was a great find. He ordered the gyro plate; I got the chicken kabobs and a few dolmas. Team here is quiet but friendly. Both plates were good--he said the rice was good, not great. I subbed the rice for salad which I enjoyed. Also subbed the hummus for tzatziki which I'm happy about. It was so good. Make sure to ask for their garlic sauce--tasty! The chicken was juicy and tender; the gyro meat was less exciting but did not lack in flavor. One ask would be to add a combo plate so you can try different proteins, but it worked out for us since we were able to trade. Dolmas were tasty.

This place is really cheap with the sauce for beef kabobs when you order to go. If you don't ask for the sauce then you don't get that what she say when I call her. And then she told me to drive back there to get the sauce. WTF so you telling me I eat the beef and rice without any flavor. They can keep the sauce for themselves. Tell me what food do you eat without any sauce when your food is has no tastes.

We ordered the chicken and beef shawarma plate. It was a gracious amount for $15! The meat was very juicy and flavorful and the hummus was very good. The menu was simple and had a lot of options. They didn't have a few items but it was the morning, so they probably didn't make them yet. The lady at the front was relaxed and answered any question I had. The place was very clean and parking was super easy.

Last minute dinner craving. We've had Mediterranean food from different places, and the Humus here was pretty good, but that was it. The steak has zero flavor, and my wife's chicken was dry/ overccoked.

The food here is great. The falafel is good in a wrap or on a plate, the kebabs are juicy and flavorful, and the lamb chops are out of this world. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The hummus and tzatziki dips hit the spot, as do the dolmas. The portions are generous. There is plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean, and the service is good: nice people. I try to patronize local eateries instead of chains. I hope Zaytoon's is here for a long time.

We really enjoy their kabobs. Priced right and very filling, each plate comes with salad, hummus, pita and rice. The tzatziki is awesome! For me the tabbouleh was a little too lemony but that's a preference. The grape leaves are especially delicious! Recommended highly!

Family run restaurant, very generous portions, and tasty food. We ordered the beef kebabs, beef shawarma, and gyro, we made the mistake of ordering additional rice... The portions are so big and there was so much rice we didn't need the additional rice but it was so tasty so we didn't mind it. Even with the current economy and the price going up everywhere, this is one of the more affordable restaurants to feed my family of four.

Excellent food and friendly service. Steak and lamb kabobs are juicy and the hummus delish! The pita is warm and soft. This is a regular spot in our rotation!

I come here quite a bit of times. One of the best Arabic food spots in Garden Grove. I love Chicken and Beef kebab plates they have here. SOme of the best food in the area. Nice staff and cool hang out when i can. Nothing is expensive or overpriced. What more could i ask for?

Went for a quick lunch and have explored many Mediterranean spots in the area. Very disappointed. The gyro meat in the wrap was decent, but pretty sure the wrap itself was a flour tortilla and it was just all very bland. no sides included for $13 was definitely not worth the price. Go elsewhere

This is a wonderful family owned business. They specialize in Med cuisine. I love, love their rice pilaf. I usually get the chicken Kabob plate, and it is more than enough for my husband and i to share. It is small, with about 6-8 cafe style tables for 2-4. An aside note...the owner has organic fruit trees, and depending on the season makes the most wonderful homemade jams. I have bought Apricot, Strawberry and Orange Marmalade from her.

We had our daughter's birthday party catered by Zaytoon this weekend and it was a hit. Everyone enjoyed the food. Jessica, the owners daughter was amazing helping me figure out just how much I needed for the party. Super helpful and assuring. Will definitely be using them again for any other events. Highly recommend this place. Food is delicious and the family very kind and helpful.

Zaytoon's kabab serves great healthy meals. Conveniently located two minutes away from LA fitness. Wonderful customer service, and welcoming owners. I loved their Hummus!!

Stumbled upon this place after going to Bookoff. Overall, it was solid. Though I wish the chicken shawarma weren't chopped up into such small pieces. Not much to say about the service - ordered it to-go.

I was in the area of Zaytoon's visiting a friend and was looking for some good food and decided to try them out. The place is kind of small but can probably seat a total of 16 to 20 people, but I noticed most of the customers were doing to go orders. I wasn't sure what to try, but with the advice of the staff decided to try a plate with both chicken and meat kabob. The plate was very flavorful to include the rice and fluffy hummus. The meat was very tender while the chicken was nice and moist. This is definitely a place I will return to if I am ever in the area again. I recommend this place to others

We picked up filet mignon, lamb and chicken kabob plates. All were very good, good portions, and tasted good. The rice was excellent. All the meats were tender. The condiments they gave with the meals were very tasty as well. The salad was a bit lackluster, as I like Clamatos in my salad. Didn't taste any.

Notice this place just passing by we went to Vons so glad we stopped and the food was absolutely amazing the lamb shank was fall off the bone the chicken was absolutely tender and juicy everything was amazing will be back most definitely even got more lamb shank to go because it was incredible and what makes the place even better than everything is the people that work here they're great people with great attitudes and you can tell they put a lot of love and care and everything that they do It's literally like I'm eating at home the atmosphere is amazing I definitely give this place 10 stars if I could

The worst customer service ever! They have attitude on whatever question they receive, even just simply ask for a napkin. I guess they are family owned so professional level is zero. Plus, food is nasty. Cold, too salty and undercooked. There's trash on the floor and foul smell. Never come back. Some people just never do service jobs. If you cannot leave your attitude at home DO NOT RUN A RESTAURANT.

Worst chicken shawarma I ever had, it's salty and had no flavor. Salad is a disgrace to Mediterranean salads, it's old and soggy . This is the first time I am trying their food and it will be the last. They claim to pile on meat/chicken portion. But it's all rice. Their lamb kabob is a joke for the price.

If you want a shawarma wrap or plate, be it Beef or Chicken this is the place inn Orange County to go. They also make the most wonderful Hummus. If you enjoy Rotisserie Chicken, you will find theirs delicious, and moist; the rice served is very good.

Very authentic food and people. Interior is like a history museum of Jerusalem, very awesome. Appreciation for all the historical places and even a 10'x8' poster on the wall of the city. Love it. Beef shawarma plate had soft rice and chomped cucumber tomato salad. Bread was heated wrapped in foil. Chili sauce and garlic paste were quality and highly appreciated to add spice and tastiness to the meal. The lemonade is not simple American style but foamy, hint of blended mint, delicious. Will be coming back!

Friendly service, and they are proud of the food they serve. Hence very good food, may prefer takeout which travels well. Although eating-in is available it has limited space and ambiance.

Food is good but when door is open all the time, flies come in and land on food. So unsanitary. Everytime I see the front door open, I just leave and not patronize the place. In addition, the floors, baseboards are dirty, including the restroom is dirty and smelly. Don't like eating at dirty restaurants. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Sooo good! This is our new go to Mediterranean food! We found this restaurant via GrubHub, and have since been to the actual location. Food is fresh, perfectly flavored and large serving size! Family owned, professional and great service. I had the chicken kabob plate and my husband gets the trio. Sooo good! Tip: If you are placing an order to go, make sure to call and order over the phone. You pay more if you use the online order option.

Unfortunately my experience here was unlike the 100 plus 4 star reviews. The Mister and I were hungry and I have been craving this type of food for a while. I have always been taught in teaching to give positives with the negatives. The staff here is very very NICE. Every single one of them was friendly, greeted us and thanked us. The place very was clean. What went wrong? I ordered a kabob wrap. The wrap was 80% cucumber and lettuce and 20% chicken. I am more of a meat eating girl, not so much of anything else. I was hoping for more meat inside my wrap. Instead I had a mouth full of cucumbers and a few chunks of chicken. The chicken was not as flavorful as one of the competitors I frequent. I was still hungry after the wrap. The Mister had a plate with beef. The beef was cut up into little pieces which gives it an illusion of being more meat than it really was. We both left hungry. Came home and I made us a couple of home made pizzas to fill our belly. Again, my experience did not match up with 90% of these reviews. I just wish the wrap had more chicken and less cucumbers.

Oh my goodness yummy for your tummy! MEDITERRANEAN GRILL I love it all. My favorite is 1/4 dark chicken, hummus, salad, pita bread, rice. You gotta try the Lamb. It's all so amazing yummy. Oh yeah the meat fell off the bone on my dark meat chicken. I give my dish a 10 for my happy tummy. Very friendly staff/ family owned. So many dishes to try each visit. It's located a few doors down from Von's on Valley View. Garden Grove. Check out the menu it's a wow factor for the tummy.

Our go to spot when it comes to Mediterranean food and hasn't disappointed anytime we get food here. Their rotisserie chicken family meal comes with rice, hummus, flatbread, and salad which can't beat for the taste and price. We've also had their lamb and chicken kebabs which were always moist and flavorful! We tried their beef shawarma fries too and reminded me of carne asada fries but healthier lol Lastly their service every time we pick up food was efficient and we definitely have been telling our friends to go here now for their Mediterranean needs!!

I went there today and got the chicken kabob plate. It was so good the chicken was juicy, the salad and hummus was so fresh. They give you a great amount too. The rice has the best taste. I am gonna go back tomorrow and I can't wait.

Room for improvement with the rice. The meat here is decent, but the price kills it. ($6 for unseasoned fries) Expect them to run out of beef schwarma by 1:30.
