Great for a quick pitstop when around this area

Google
Zaza stands out amongst other cafes on Saint Clair for its homemade pizza and mango granitas which are both great if you’re in the mood for something savory and sweet. The atmosphere is pleasant with light music playing on the stereo and patrons tranquilly enjoying their food/beverages inside and outside, on the patio. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming and the value seems fair. I paid about $12 for a slice of pizza and this medium size mango granita and left feeling satisfied. They also have gelato, which I plan on trying next time I stop in. Definitely recommend for a good casual cafe/dining experience.

Google
Stepping into this Italian coffee shop was a lovely experience. It boasts a fantastic location, perfect for a quick stop or a relaxed break. The espresso was a highlight – rich, perfectly extracted, and just how it should be. Beyond the great coffee, the people working there were genuinely kind and polite, adding warmth to the visit. The pricing felt fair and entirely average for a spot of this quality

Google
Really enjoyed this Italian coffee shop. The location is excellent, and the espresso was absolutely spot-on – prepared just right. The staff were noticeably kind and polite, making for a pleasant experience. Prices were pretty standard for the area.

Google
Amazing staff and even better food! Would highly recommend stopping by for one of their delicious sandwiches or a slice of pizza. Hands down the best Italian cafe on St clair. The flavour of Italy is real at Zaza Espresso Bar.

This coffee shop has a (seasonal) patio as well as indoor seating. They offer a limited menu of food as well as coffee and specialty coffees.

Google
Love this place! We had a single espresso and a double shot, great portion and great taste! I would also recommend getting their hot chocolate/white hot chocolate! So delicious and tasty! Staff are also very friendly!

My partner and I had a really disappointing experience at ZaZa Espresso Bar. We sat on the patio for about 15 minutes with multiple waitresses walking by us without acknowledging our presence. No one offered menus or checked in on us, so we eventually had to ask for them ourselves. After getting the menus, we waited another 15 minutes without any service. We finally asked a waitress if we could place our order, she just said “sure” and walked away. It took another five minutes before she actually returned to take the order. To top it off, we were overcharged on the receipt, the math was incorrect.

I was there at this location few days ago and it was very dissapointing, the lady who serves she was very unfriendly. She gave us a very bad look and she didn't like it because I took few minutes to decide what to order. Do not recommend the server (old lady) I feel sorry for the other people that work with her. The food might be great, nut she server not.

Yelp
The barista must have been new because nothing was simple and easy with ordering. We usually ask for a little to-go espresso cup with cream in it so that my toddler feels included - no one has ever charged us for this, but she did, which was kind of lame to be charged for. Will just go to Krave as we usually do going forward, they have better food as well. The bathroom was so small I couldn't fit myself and my toddler in it!

Yelp
Cute neighbourhood spot with home style food and beverage offerings from paninis to espresso granitas! Gelato offerings are more on the sweet spectrum

Yelp
I came here for a coffee one night and took a seat, after 15 min the barista aprouches me and tells me I have to leave because I was wearing to much perfume and she couldn't stand it. Seems like a joke but it wasn't, I didn't overeacte , I just paid my bill and left. Shame on you people to have the guts to say that to costumers!!!!

Yelp
We stopped at Zaza for an after-brunch espresso drink (Emma's Country Kitchen across the street is a cant miss for pancakes) and were pretty pleased with the espresso macchiato and latte we had. The patio was open, and it felt so European to sit outside in the warm sunshine on a cook day and sip an espresso. We didn't try any food (see: Emma's country kitchen), but the service was warm and friendly and based on our experiences in Italy, felt very authentic. We'll be back!

Yelp
Coffee is good here. I enjoy it, but it is not my go to on the block. Their snacks are good and the staff is friendly. You won't be disappointed stopping in for a nip of espresso

Yelp
Tbh, I was quite disappointed. no gelato in the winter, Very few desserts, and on top of that it was stale and very dry. As for the nutella latte, 50% foam, 30% whip cream and 20% drink. Environment is small and nothing special. On the up side, server was friendly.

Yelp
I discovered Zaza Espresso bar while trying to kill time waiting for a call back from Emma's country Kitchen for brunch. It was located right across the street a block down. The café had a beautiful patio and a small indoor seating area. The menu was simple and also included fresh gelato/canolis! I ordered an affagato- (coffee based dessert). I picked a dolce de leché (fresh cream) as my base, drenched in one shot of piping hot espresso. You can choose any ice cream from their selections. It was priced at 4.50$. One taste -perfection! The sweetness of the ice cream really balanced out the bitterness of the espresso (good for people like me that are not regular coffee drinkers)! I would've loved to try the canoli at 2.50$ a piece but I had to keep space for brunch! Wonderful surprise in the outskirts of St.Clair!

Yelp
The food is of a high quality and the decor is comfortable. Unfortunately, the service while efficient is cold and you get the feeling that your order is a hassle.

Yelp
I like this spot simply because it's not full of hipster types and over crowded. I feel sofisticated as I sit and read, sipping on my coffee enjoying the atmosphere. I wish the girl smiled more behind the counter and knew she is appreciated! Customer service jobs are tough, people (customers) can be too critical at times, feeling comfortable to take out their life frustrations on the one behind the counter serving them. I am appreciative of this shop and their services which is why I am a loyal returning customer. -Tip your servers and say thank you. Gratitude should be an expression in ones daily life, it's humbling and therapeutic.

Yelp
This cafe is in the former Timothy's Coffee location at 320 Danforth Ave. They have updated the furniture and made the room more open and inviting. Repairs have been made to the restrooms (yay!). Seems like an effort is being made to update and it's a work in progress. Brewed coffee is good. Americano was meh. Food menu is very limited, mostly desserts. Service needs to improve significantly. The young males were attentive and friendly and delivered coffee to the table because it wasn't yet finished brewing upon ordering (that's good). Unfortunately, most often there are 2 young women behind the counter who are cool, aloof, and unwelcoming in their presentation, especially the one with red hair who is consistently rude. They actually once turned their backs on the customer while pouring coffee and leaned in to each other talking quietly giving the appearance that they were mocking the customer like some adolescent mean girls. And one time "Red", i kid you not, was picking at her nails and didn't make eye contact with me as if to say I was interrupting something important by placing my order. Hopefully, management is on top of training staff better as it's early days otherwise there's much better coffee in the hood to consider where you won't be greeted with animosity bordering on hostility.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The gelato, espresso and latte here were amazing. The server was super nice and friendly. I tried the red velvet latte and it was delicious!!

Yelp
Disappointed. Awful service, barely there hot chocolate. I got only half a cup of hot chocolate, the rest was foam. The cup was really tiny and I paid $4 for half a cup. It was over priced and cold by the time I got it.

Yelp
This is such a cool spot on St. Clair. If you're roaming the streets looking to grab a gelato or espresso this is it. We walked in thinking there was only going to be espresso's and pastry's but to our surprise we had yummy gelatos!

Yelp
Best coffee in the St Clair West neighborhood. The had my favorite tea brand, and consistently quality coffee. The seating and interior is beautiful and comfortable. This is a veritable Italian cafe.

Yelp
I've tried all the coffee in the area and now I exclusively go to Zaza because no one can make an Americano as good as they can. They also have a great little patio and some pretty awesome gelato!

Yelp
Lived around the corner from this place and went there several times a week. Moved downtown and still find myself coming back. Easily one of the best pizzas in the city but they sell by the slice and sell out fast at lunch time so you gotta get there for lunch. The tiramisu and espresso granitas are some of my other favourites but honestly ... everything is good there. You'll only be disappointed if they're sold out ...

Yelp
Lovely cafe! I tried the red velvet latte and it was delicious. I want to come back for more. They also have different flavors of cannoli. I gotta come back for them.

Yelp
This cafe is a nice toronto chain. It has a lovely interior which is very modern and fresh looking in appearance. I got the Americano which gave the perfect energy boost I was hoping for. Bitter with a bite exactly how I like my coffee. The man who runs the store is very polite and immediately welcomed me and brought complimentary water which was a nice touch. Pricing is fair and the pastries Are to die for!

Yelp
i've only come here a little more then couple of times and i normally get a Affogato which is espresso poured over gelato, each time it was done well, the espresso was pretty spot on not sour or burnt and the gelato really brang out the taste of the espresso. there food though needs some work, ive never had any from there but it looks like some of it is stale espe

Yelp
Bad espresso. Over extracted. Very little crema. Left a bad bitter taste. Barista (if you want to call her that). Only cared about getting the order done. I saw her late she made for someone else might as well call it for what that was milk and burnt espresso. Anyway, customer service terrible. No customer contact. No interaction. Very "un-Italian" since they try and be so Italian. One word of advice focus on customer service and quality of products and stop being so fake. You can really tell. Good location. Patio is good. Just need to improve on everything else. Sorry won't be coming back. So that's three Zaza places I've been to with the same results. I think the owner should reevaluate if they should be in the hospitality business. Just one opinion. Ciao!

Yelp
The coffee is nothing special and the pizza is like eating dry flavorless cardboard. The older guy behind the bar is an A.H., never smiles and is quit rude. McDonald's at least gives you a smile and has decent coffee. I'll go to St Clair if I want a good coffee served p[politely.

John C.

Yelp
Horrible! Server spoke little to no English, forgot our order, I had to go back to the front cash and physically show them what I wanted. The cheese cake must have been sitting there for at lease 2 weeks, it was hard as cold butter. Each miniscule slice was $7.50! Severely over priced and not worth it, never going back!

Joanne B.

Yelp
Service was great as was the hot & delicious coffee & tea, along with the very yummy red velvet & chocolate pastries! Very cute and welcoming atmosphere! Was thrilled to be on St. Clair and discover this jewel of a place!
